Allen Tang: Went there last Sunday to celebrate early Father’s Day with my wife and daughter. For starters we had the Fishbank sashimi platter and the mayura station wagyu beef carpaccio and for main my daughter had the crumbed fish and chips, my wife had the grilled whole local fish with miso sauce whilst I had the grilled aquna murray cod.All three mains tasted great and we were quite satisfied with the helping. For desserts, we ordered the yuzu parfait and the sticky date pudding to share. All in it was a satisfying lunch.

justin smit: First time visiting Fishbank and wasn't disappointed,Delicious fresh meals, with excellent service.Looking forward to visiting again soon

Häagen M.K: I must say, it was an unforgettable experience that deserves a 5-star rating. While all the dishes were undoubtedly excellent, as a Japanese person, I feel compelled to highlight the sashimi. It stood out as a testament to their understanding and respect for this delicate art form.Sashimi is not just about slicing raw fish; it requires meticulous attention to detail, and they understand this perfectly. Their use of the “kombu-jime” technique was a delightful surprise, enhancing the flavors and texture of the fish beautifully. Moreover, the waitstaff were incredibly friendly, and their professional knowledge combined with the rhythm of their conversation turned the dining experience into a captivating show. Each dish was presented with care, and the staff's enthusiasm for the cuisine added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. It’s No doubt, Fishbank is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates high-quality seafood and exceptional service.

Cheryl Trierweiler: The best fish and chips in Adelaide. I won't eat calamari from anywhere else now. 👍👍😁😁

Amber Barber: Fantastic. Went here yesterday for the first time, love the large menu, and the pictures of the food online to visually help us decide our selections. Was great that were able to book a table for our group, and the staff must be quickly aware of bookings as I booked it whilst on the way there and arrived to find our table reserved. We had a few custom requests which the staff were super friendly and helpful about and the food came out so great. We all loved the food, the selections and the service. Can’t wait to come back here! Keep up the great work & we’ll see you again soon ☺️

For our mains, we chose The Secrets Trio, and every bite was fantastic. The table of 8 all have the same high praises for their delicious food.I honestly can’t fault this place. The staff was extremely attentive and patient with our table’s orders, even going above and beyond by providing pencils for the kids to draw on the table, which they absolutely loved. GO BACK TO SAMMY's - we we really enjoyed!

The positioning of the restaurant and the ambiance was lovely and the food was incredibly delicious with all dishes and desserts beautifully plated. If you’re an oyster aficionado then you must try the natural oysters that taste like they’ve been pulled from the water and shucked right there on the spot. A truly outstanding dining experience!

Michelle Wong: Had the best pre-birthday dinner at Metro Oyster Bar. It was such an easy walk from our hotel to MOB. The food was absolutely delicious! Out tastebuds were having a party!!Freshly shucked oysters! So impressive! The oysters were so so fresh and tasty! Even got to try a jumbo pacific oyster! YUM! 🤤 We thenhad the MY platter to share! The calamari and meat was so tender and tasty and the prawns.. so sweet and delicious! Every bite was delicious!I’m so sad that I live in Melbourne and can’t visit all the time! Thanks Metro Oyster Bar, we enjoyed your service and recommendations!

Katie Lin: are amazing. It was almost like I was in Greek having a real Greek feast/dinner. The staff are so kind and friendly making sure that we have a perfect and great night.Recommended food: Kil Patricks, Yiros, Pita bread with the trio dips, Chips, Christina Specials and one of my top favourites is dill salad! The dill salad is very healthy and delicious, I normally don’t like to eat salad but dill salad hits the spot! For anyone that doesn’t like garden salad, dill salad with to the trick because it has cucumber and chopped up salad into little bits also having a delicious dressing on top!Everyone must come to this restaurant because I’ve been many times before and it’s always my favourite Greek and dinner restaurant to enjoy with my family and friends.METRO OYSTER BAR IS THE BEST! YOU GUYS SHOULD COME AND TRY IT OUT!!

Kevin Head: Was looking for a place for a quick bite to eat and came across the Metro oyster bar,I ordered a dozen Kilpatricks so fresh, the grilled octopus that just melted in my mouth, and the lamb Slovakia with chips and salad the lamb was so juicy and tender, the atmosphere was very welcoming and the waiters were very friendly and helpful,I will definitely be back and bring some mates with me definitely a 10 out of 10 experience,😃😃👍

Kaz Tashiro: I was in the mood for oysters so I visited here! The oysters were a bit salty, but they were large and filling, and the squid and lamb were also quite good. And the wine was delicious.

Dylan Ting: Oysters are so fresh!!Definitely recommend to try the rainbow oysters plate to find your favourite flavour. All flavours taste good and my favourite are natural oyster with basil seasoning and volcano-I can still recall the spicy!!!!!!! Yummm! The service is great, staffs are friendly! It’s in my must visit list if I come back to Adelaide again.PS. The fish and chips is amazing too! It’s just, the oyster has taken all my attention 🤣

Alex J: Loved this little unique oyster bar!Large variety of different flavours, good size and fair price considering places charge alot more for less.Service was great and friendly.

Robert Ardill: One of the better Oyster bars in Adelaide.Freshest oysters and awesome service. Bar is a bit hidden away but aren't most great finds like this now days. These guys have been wholesaling for 40+ years, so your going to have to travel to the farm to find fresher oysters.

David Vorst: Great service great location

Sonya Knevitt (Sonya 'n' Shane): Stopped past for coffee with a group of 7. Fantastic service and great coffee.

Pete Reed: Went here on Sunday as most other restaurants were closed. Had the sirloin special which was very good dessert were bit poor.

Tim Overland: James is a star!

Kenneth Ng: Good but not outstanding is the best way to summarise SQ. Not crowded during lunches, the large dining space provides a quiet enough atmosphere for healthy conversation during your meal. The twice cooked pork belly with shitake and soba noodle was good enough but lacked anything to suggest any effort to make it a better tasting meal. The sauce was way too salty, and the pork belly pieces were too few. However, a previous item on the menu, peking duck risotto was delicious.

Marie Andrieu: Very good well stocked platterVery clean ..Recommended 👍Staff a little sad at the end of the day

M P: Visited on 2020.1.5. for my dinner while i am on business trip. Waiters were polite, kind, nice and friendly. Food was also great. Place looks clean. I had to remove one star for serving my main dish on a cold plate.... by the way main was beef steak. But overall I was satisfied.

Amanda Pedersen: Very under rated Restuarant best seafood we have ever eaten. Booking for Xmas day now. Fish of the day is a choice of King George Whiting, silver Whiting, NT Barramundi, Garfish, Flathead, Snapper, Gummy Shark, Kooroong mullet, Mulloway, KnifeJaw, Deep Sea Cod, Tarakini. Cooked to perfection. We are from Darwin and Peter had the best Seafood Laska he has ever eaten. Book now. Sorry I started on mine before the camera came out.

Boon wee KUAH: wanted some seafood for the night and had lovely oysters and mussels to share. Then everyone choose a main course of fish or scallops, all well prepared, first time i had a gumpy shark, red cod was also v good, surprisingly good desert of cheesecake and sticky date pudding. Nathan did an outstanding job serving us, not easy in group of 8

Bonnie Angelov: A wonderful find. Food was fantastic: lovely oysters, delicious crumbed flathead and grilled King George Whiting fish, prawns, and calamari. The breading was light, not at all greasy, and the accompanying salads and chips were also good. The waiter was knowledgeable and shared good advice to help us make our choices. Atmosphere is simple, friendly, and cozy. Prices are fair considering the high quality of the food and excellent preparation, including a good price on the recommended wine.

Sining Ai: The fries in the side dish are the best - each one is freshly fried into long, crispy pieces.Brandy snap fruit is delicious. The brandy ice cream inside is the highlight. Fruit is also plentiful.Price: The above four dishes cost 114 knives. It would be great if they all had Brandy snap fruit as a menu item. But the fish and chips in this shop cost more than thirty dollars. In terms of taste, it is no different from those fish and chip shops priced around 20 dollars. The main difference is probably the tartar sauce and presentation. So be careful with fish and chips. The Chili Lemon Cucumber Oyster is priced at 25 dollars. It is the best value for money so far. Highly recommended.

Raph Claverie: OMG, what an amazing place. Spur of the moment decision called to check if we could get a table and spoke with Nathan, he managed to fit the 3 of in, thank you so much. The food was amazing so full of flavour and fresh, the ambiance and staff were just so happy and inviting and Nathan wow your way of handling dinners speaking to each table not rushing through the menu not rushing the dinners just made the evening even better allowing the food settle between courses. Truly gave us the chance to really experience the quality of your menu and expertise of your chef/kitchen staff. We were so happy we already rebooked for mums 82nd birthday mid September and we'll be back before then for sure.

Mary Karic: . Drive safe. Being winter and early seating they could accommodate us and put us at ease.

YiZhong Zhuang: or just catch the tram.Kid-friendliness: Great staff and lots of shells to look at make this a good place for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Accessible

Evelyn Egan: Attitude of the manager/supervisor - The day before my birthday, I called Sheshells to make reservation for my birthday dinner. On top of the main meal and drinks, I asked if birthday cakes were available. The gentleman who I talked to

Kristeen Arnold: My very good friend in Liane and myself had dinner at this so lovely Restaurant which I might add if were not for my Entertainment Card I had no idea that it was there, however both of us were 💯👌completely satisfied in every way. The Host Nathan is an Exceptional person because he has all of the Qualities that any person needs to run a what both Liane and myself {Kristeen} would say a Restaurant that clearly has it all except the one thing that they however do not do is to be open for lunch which is a sad thing because I’m almost certain that if they were to be open for lunch they’d most definitely achieve a lot more trading I’m sure. So please anyone who actually wants to take the time to read what I have just posted just go there and try this awesome Restaurant out for yourself because it’s an Absolute Gem 💎

Bryson Harris: Amazing seafood. So many fresh fish options. Oysters and mussels are sensational. Plenty of desserts also.

Kaye Lattin: Have been here regularly. Cannot fault anything service menu price. 10 if us in our party oysters were amazing had the seafood basket. Stunning juicy prawns and tender calamari. Had gluten intolerant relative. Said the GF crumbs amazing. Recently went to other well known seafood restaurant at the bay. Sheshells ran rings around it with everything. Definitely being our first choice. You won't be disappointed. Well done guys.

Tarryn Angermeier: I’m in town and it’s absolutely 12/10. Love the waiter and the chef - they always make me feel at home! Thanks again for always welcoming this sandy beach volleyballer season after season. Will be back again!!

Brock Martin: Dropped in while in Adelaide for the long weekend. Short notice booking but we were accommodated nicely.Nathan and staff were really friendly from the phone call to leaving, food was really nice we had the fish of the day and garlic prawn entree.Nicely portioned and meals well worth the price. Thanks and we hope to return !

Parlamento: what do users think?

David Parlavecchio: was overcooked, but you could feel it was a good cut and of good quality. My partner's gnocchi were also good.It is located in the center of Adelaide so it is easy to reach by public transport, but difficult to find parking nearby.Vegetarian options: There are various choices for vegetarian dishes, pasta, salads and various vegetables.

Mark Roman: . The dish is described as being between 400-500g and cooked to my liking. I wish I'd taken a photo now because the meat was definitely on the lower end of the weight scale, and I reckon it'd be hard pressed to even be 400g. In addition it was overcooked, but that wasn't a major drama. Not as tender as it's been in the past, but tasty. Parlamento is always busy, so it's not like they were dealing with an extra large group that strained the kitchen resources, but I was a tad disappointed in the meat dish, especially, given it's now $52 which had a decent increase from the previous visit. I could have bought this same steak from a local pub for $35, so at $52, it should be without question. The lamb loin chops and pasta dished served to my companions were to the usual standard.Wheelchair accessibility: Given the smallish nature of the restaurant, arriving in a wheelchair without advance notice is not advised. In addition, there's not a lot of room between tables.

MK: We dined at Parlamento twice while in Adelaide last May. The first time our experience was so special and delicious we went back the next evening. Food and service were excellent. Rafael and the team made us feel like we were VIPs. Then on the morning we were flying home we were looking for a good coffee and we’re so happy to see Parlamento was open just for a coffee! Again 5-star service and best coffee! Grazie Rafael and team, when next in Adelaide we will be back.

Silvano Porcaro: Visited Adelaide this week after a long absence. I had been to Parlamento on previous visits and was always impressed with the food and service. I went for dinner on Tuesday evening and ordered the spaghetti marinara and a mixed spirit to drink. The order was promptly placed and the drink quickly arrived with a basket containing bread and butter. The butter was at room temperature so easily spreadable.I had some friendly discussion with Ralph, one of the owners of Parlamento whilst waiting for the marinara. It didn't take long for it to arrive and the aroma was simply mouth watering! The dish was spectacular - spaghetti perfectly 'al dente' and an abundance of fresh mixed seafood. A beautiful rose coloued sauce brought it all together. It was really good!If you live in Adelaide or are just visiting, I can definitely recommend Parlamento as a good home style italian restaurant. Thanks Ralph and the team. I look forward to my next visit.

Elvira Rosmini: was next to none. We truly enjoyed dining in your restaurant Ralph; you made a simple catch up amongst friends a memorable and truly enjoyable experience. Never retire mate… we love your food, generosity, humour and above all your authentic Italian cuisine.Cheers,Carmine

Alex Vasek (Alex's Ace's): *✨ A Feast for the Senses at @gauchosadelaide ✨**Last night, I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Gauchos Adelaide, a true gem in the heart of the city. From the moment I walked in, the warm, rustic ambience wrapped around me, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey.**🥩 Rib Eye & Striploin: A Carnivore's Dream 🥩**We started with their Rib Eye and Striploin—two cuts of beef that were nothing short of extraordinary. The Rib Eye was beautifully marbled, with a rich flavour that melted in my mouth. Cooked to perfection, it had that delicate balance of tenderness and a slight char that only comes from expert grilling. The Striploin was equally impressive, boasting a robust flavour with a perfect crust on the outside and juicy, tender meat on the inside. Gauchos truly knows how to honour the art of grilling, and these steaks were a testament to their craft.**🥟 Empanadas & Calamari: Perfect Starters 🦑**Next up were the Empanadas and Calamari—ideal starters to whet the appetite. The Empanadas were golden parcels of delight, with a perfectly flaky crust and a rich, savoury filling that was bursting with flavour. Each bite transported me straight to the streets of Argentina. The Calamari was another standout, with a crispy exterior that gave way to tender, succulent squid. Paired with a zesty dipping jam sauce, it was a match made in heaven.**🍮 Crème Brûlée: A Sweet Finale 🍮**And just when I thought the experience couldn’t get any better, we were presented with their Crème Brûlée for dessert. The caramelized sugar on top provided the perfect crack as my spoon dug into the creamy, velvety custard beneath. It was the ideal way to end the meal—light, yet indulgent and bursting with the perfect amount of sweetness.**🍷 Wine & Atmosphere: The Perfect Pairing 🍷**To complement the meal, we enjoyed a glass of their Argentinian malbec wine, which boasted a strong flavour that enriched the profile of the steaks.Thank you Gauchos#OneDishAtATime🍽

Craig Lardner: My business trips to Adelaie have to have a Gouchos dinner on at least one night. This was special… the lamb chops and a side of chips washed down with a glass of Argentinean red. All I could leave were the bones and the lemon! Sorry Chef? But the meal …Awesome! The waiters and waitresses are forever on watch and have the customer at heart. As a former national customer service manager of a major corporate enterprise, it’s a pleasure to watch them work with this high level of dedication.Craig, Sydney

Stephen Lawler: The best fish and chips I have tasted in years. Very high-quality food. I loved it.Good service. I will definitely return. The only downside is that there is only enough room for one table inside, and we were very grateful to get that. It was a bloody freezing winter's day.I SUGGEST that the owners invest in outdoor heaters for the customers who want to remain to eat. The food is DELICIOUS.

rwill125: Have been here a number of times now. Certainly rate it as the best quality fish and chips in Adelaide, and we have tried many other places too. Chips nice and crispy but still plenty of potato, and seafood is always very fresh. Service is excellent, and I have noticed they always make the effort to address customers by name. Great old fashioned customer service and I love seeing them work hard as a family and taking pride in their food and service. If you're disappointed by this place, you're definitely a Karen.Regards,Rob

Joy Fox: and their various yiros options. They also greet you by name which I think is terrific because it makes it feel like you’re part of the local community. This is rare nowadays outside of country towns. I definitely recommend phoning your order before coming though if you can because they are so popular

Niloufar Ansari: One of the best seafood I've ever had! Highly recommend for any seafood lover! Craving fish and chips, we found this gem on Google. The passion of the staff shines through in every dish. The fish is fresh daily, with origin details. The staff were friendly and provided insightful information about the menu. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the seafood stick was a standout. They even kindly added extra calamari to our dish since we were a party of three. I will definitely go back!

Yamorena Kopi: Currently my number one spot for fish and chippies.. their coleslaw is a must try. Their fish is perfectly cooked, crispy outside and juicy inside. Prawns and squid!! Wow..I probably have to try more of the other stuff on their menu but my word the stuff I tried was so 😋 yummyLove it. Fantastic service 👏 👌I highly recommend this placeChips you gotta have them with the chick salt! If I'm being picky I could maybe wish for the chips to be crisper but it's a minor thing..they are tasty. I haven't taken enough photos cause I just go there and bury my face in their food.
