Liberty Overton: Friendly Welcome, Clean Cabin!I almost didn't book to stay here after reading the reviews about the Reception staff; but I found the complete opposite! The man welcomed me and was kind and friendly in getting me organised. He took time to make sure I understood everything and had good directions to my cabin. I was grateful for this, because I was travelling alone with my 4 young children. He then found out I was travelling for a funeral. The next day, as I was checking out, he farewelled me with compassion and encouragement for my difficult day ahead, and hoped to welcome us back under better circumstances. He was very kind and friendly, from the get go.The cabin was extremely neat and tidy. The heater was on ready for us. It had everything we needed!Thank you for looking after us.

Paula Wilks: Stayed 4 nights in Cabin.Lovely clean very comfortable. Heat pump/ air conditioner. Andrea C: Had an absolutely amazing stay here! The staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating to my families needs and highly recommend staying here. They are also pet friendly and very understanding when it comes to the fur babies. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member. Also have to give them extra credit for putting up with my crazy partner lol

Danielle Ashford: I am updating my review. I honestly love this place so much. I just want to update on my most recent trip. For those needing a space that is mobility needs friendly I checked in and omg the cabin we stayed in. Amazing wide car space, flat entry and exit. Huge walk in/ wheel in if needed shower with a bench, rails next to the toilet and in the shower. Extra power points. I was blown away. See pics. I've always loved this park but more so now.We have stayed here a few times and never had any issues. We have been here for 6 nights of an 8 night stay in preparation for the birth of my baby. My daughter and I were so comfortable and relaxed. The park is quiet and well maintained and secure. The cabin was lovely, beautiful and clean and with it having an oven and cook top and full size fridge we could cook and shop for the week. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. It's close to the beach and west lakes shopping centre. I will be sad to be leaving after such a lovely week but will be back.

John Gray: Fiona, lauren and the staff run a spotless ship. I cant say enough how friendly and helpfull they are!!!Hotel highlights Great value …

Sonia MARIA: Love this Caravan Park. Parents were long term residents here. Mum remains. The amenities block is very good. Can even have a bath!!The walk to the beach is short and well worth it. I have had many hours walking along the Semaphore beach with my mother. So nice to have my mum so close to this lovely space.

Scott ask: Definately top 5 adelaide doggo walks. Can get busy on weekends and snakes can be a problem in summer. On leash only but 100% worth a look outside of busy weekend times..

Igor Sochkan: This place is located in few minutes drive from the city.

Stephen Jolly (Jolman): Plenty of places to walk

Michael Arroyo: Such a beautiful place to just lose yourself in, with many tracks to go hiking and just enjoy the surroundings.

Steven Evans: You get to see the city and coastal views from a height and there is a playground and free bbq and picnic area. Parking during the weekdays is plentiful. walk up steep incline to see higher views of the city and panaroma views. No toilets though and nothing in walking distancePlayground: Keep the kids occupiedDog-friendliness: Both the walking trail and area people walk dogs there is no signs saying otherwisePicnic area: Free bbq with table seating which weekdays normally not used.

R S: It is a nice walk but it seems to lack a public toilet or rubbish bins. The facilities may have been in a different part to the section I went through.

Tash Blesing: Beautiful place to walk along the river. Had a warm beautiful day. Didn't explore the whole parkland, but it is a large area. There is a area with tables to have lunch, no bins anywhere though, so take your rubbish with you. If you take your dog with you, don't forget poopy bags, and take it with you as there is no bins anywhere. All dogs must stay on a leash whilst walking through the parkland. A caravan park is also located in the area and which is really nice and dog friendly.

Chris Abbott: I usually park at the carpark near McElligott's Quarry Reserve then walk up the hill towards The tree. mazing views over Adelaide. I then walk towards Brown Hill Trig then onto Gate 87 Style then follow the Yurebilla trail and stop at Netherby Spur for more amazing views. Then follow the trail back to the carpark.

Scott Brown: Quiet park in a tree lined valley. Very restful.

Jason Coleman: Great place for a walk or picnic. The views and birdlife are amazing. The only dampener was our cabin in the caravan park was filthy with mould and spiderwebs. I recommend the recreational park not the caravan park.

Lotte Taylor: Great Campsite - Location is stunning and staff are lovely.Trip very much marred by other site occupants. As we were camping we left a bag of goods in the site fridge overnight which was stolen, including a small cheese cake we bought for my mother for her birthday today from the Adelaide Markets. All was labelled and dated but this didn’t deter the thief. Disappointing and not the staffs fault, they were very apologetic. DO NOT USE THE KITCHEN FACILITY FRIDGES DUE TO THIS. Also, first time visiting from NZ and this, over multiple years of travelling and camping at campgrounds world wide, this has never happened to us. Disappointing, Australia.

Roxy B: A great location and a well kept caravan park.

Stacey: Great place to visit right on a beautiful beach good for walking the dogs exercise and people sometimes out having a surf when the weather is right I guess the park has friendly and very helpful staff good amenities and some lovely views looking over the sea I do recommend this place as a great place to visit even holidays with family I've been here 1 month so far and no problems at all oh and local shops near by so very convenient and not far to walk 👍👍

Jeff Owens: This place is modern, clean, lots of facilities. Toilets/showers immaculate. Just on walking distance from town. However the caravan park is on a hill with teraced carvan spots. Depending on where you are allocated you will need to either reverse down hill or up hill both presenting issues. There are a few drive thru sites but get booked out quickly. New child playground getting installed. Quality roads and gutters throughout but sites aee bit on the small side. Still recommend though.

Stephen Watson: .Facilities are top notch, massive well equip camp kitchen

Kylie Byrne: What a lovely park! Awesome camp kitchen; enclosed with heating. Good size sites, enough for our camper & kids swag on one site. Very clean, updated amenities including laundry. 2 ladies at front counter were beyond friendly when I had to change dates by a day. Our 2 night stay was perfect, we will be back.

Debbie Perrott: Been back here a few times now. Lovely small caravan park with a lot of full time residents that are respectful and quiet. Lovely helpful owners who are very helpful/polite.Shower block needs a upgrade however, in particular the mens showers which run hot and cold.

Frank_le: Thanks Wayne you made our trip and crew feel very welcome. We appreciate the little extra service and banter. A must stop for traveler's nice quiet little park , brand new chalets reasonably priced. Great drive thru spots. … walking distance to town everything you need. Good quiet vibes and lots of long chats with the other travellers.

Kate Kemp: Just beautiful. Cabin was superb with everything needed for a comfy sleep. Kylie and Wayne are so welcoming that anyone who stays here won't be disappointed. Cannot recommend higher. 🙂Rooms: So nice to stay in a cabin with normal beds and not bunks. Bed was great and the cabin is spacious. The shower was wonderful with a massive shower head. Just lovely all round.

Gary Sims: Very well kept park staff are very helpfulGreat location to explore Adelaide Hills from

Greg Moore: Fabulous CP in a great location and very friendly management. We phoned last minute and were placed in an overflow area as the park was pretty much booked out. Turns out the overflow spot was excellent, grassed, sunny and private.Would definitely come back to Mt Barker CP.

Jan Currie: We stayed in our van with our dog for 6 nights. The park is beautiful and shady. The amenities were clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful and friendly. The manager even backed some people's vans into their site for them. It was walking distance to all the shops, cafes and restaurants. The location was fabulous for the beautiful beaches and the many cellar doors and tourist attractions the area has to offer. I highly recommend this caravan park.

Bathroom very clean, just the nightstand a bit dusty but I am not very fussy. I would suggest to change the odour spray for a citric one because as soon as I got in to the room I felt a smell like Smokey and perfume 😣. Anyways, the bed is comfortable and very nice boiling shower haha I like it 👌depending who is your next door neighbour is a bit noisy but after 10pm is pretty quiet here. Carol Williams: Like all caravan parks when visiting for the first time, We came not knowing what to expect. Delighted with the whole experience just doesn’t cut the mustard. This place is a gem. It’s not 100% perfect but it’s close to around 98%. It’s just central to the shops trams pubs buses and city entertainment. Who needs big 4?Outstanding service facilities cleanliness. We’re enjoying this experience and NOT wanting to go home.Love it⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Des T: We stayed here as our base camp when we came to the City for "Pinks" Concert. Great Location close to Public Transport, nearby Shops and Food Outlets and of course so close to the City. We utilised the Tram and took it to the Pink Concert at Adelaide Oval, then to Glenelg the next day for Lunch, and then to meet up with friends in the City. Amenities were good and has everything we needed. For us it is all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION, and CONVENIENCE. We will stay again. Only disappointment was that previous people had said they got a bottle of wine on Arrival. Sadly though none for us.....Nearby activities: So close to the City and with Public Transport to get you there and back and also to Glenelg Beach.

Andrew McKinnon: Very nice and neat. Toilets were well maintained. Great spot to ride around as it is flat. There are a lot of ants.Safety: High walls around the entire park.Walkability: Close to a tram station and a pub.

Boo Azul: Stayed at this wonderful bush setting for 8 days. There is a lovely bush walk behind the camp. Keep your eyes up and you might see a Koala. The camp is ideally situated for exploring the Adelaide Hills. The facilities are basic. We always had hot water and great pressure in the showers, so that kept us happy. We felt welcomed by the hosts.

Rosario Esensua: Lovely place, lovely owners.Been here twice accomodation first time and it was pretty good, nothing outstanding but for the price, it worked.Lovely and clean, bathrooms clean, what more can you ask for.

Nassim Hemmati: Amazing caravan site. The staff are sooo friendly and welcoming. There are beautiful walking trails in the area.

M MAC M MAC: Looking to unwind we found, right at our door step, this peaceful hidden gem amongst the beautiful scenery of the Adelaide Hills. With our camper van set up on the oval over looking the bushland, it was so relaxing enjoying a bottle of local wine . Very friendly and welcoming owners. Wineries & eateries nearby. This is the perfect place to connect with nature. We loved it !!

Keiichiro: The facilities, pricing, and owner were amazing! ! ! !Service: 5/5 …

Carl Robinson: Rachel and Michael provide a beautiful and affordable experience. Suitable for anyone wanting a well priced, safe and fun getaway experience for the whole family.Highly recommend!

Sean Bergin: I have stayed here many times. It's awesome. Private, quiet and very special. The hosts are the best of people.I was here when the disrespectful family of Alex stayed here the other day and am disgusted by his juvenile and narcissistic review. Looking at his other reviews a pattern of ignorant entitlement and petty keyboard attacks is pretty clear. Bluntly put, the owners should have kicked you out, without any refund, much sooner. I feel sorry for any other places that have to deal with you, and any travellers that have to stay within a hundred metres of you on your travels. Honestly you should be ashamed. Your behaviour and dogs uncontrolled behaviour was extremely unpleasant and distressing for others. I am aware of some pubs in rougher areas that allow sleeping in their carpark after drinking. Perhaps you'd feel more at home there. And your claims about leering or whatever are disgusting. The owner you are referring to has serious eye issues and can barely see at the moment, so does squint a bit. Your interpretation of this as creepy simply shows your ignorance, lack of awareness and respect and your ignorant and self absorbed character. You should apologise and remove your review, and seek some mental health feedback. To all the mentally healthy and respectful people: Shiloh is a very special place. I highly recommend it to respectful people looking for a sanctuary to stay and explore. Hopefully people like Alex and his family don't slip in too often, but I guess we've all had encounters like this. Don't let this childish and petty review influence your choices.Noteworthy details: Just an awesome nature escape, and still convenient to get to interesting places.

Scott Snaddon: Beautiful location with fantastic facilities and owners who clearly care about guests. We had some amazing recommendations for cellar doors from Racheal and some great advice about seeing local wildlife from her husband. The walks around the grounds are lovely.I would recommend staying here to anyone!
