Chay xo: i’m only 20 years old, i never thought i would go through this but i can’t even explain how absolutely beautiful all of the staff are. they were so thorough with me the entire time i had to have multiple scans, ruled out all possibilities and booked me in quickly for a d n c. i was panicky and teary when i showed up yesterday for my procedure at the qeh but i was explained every step, given time to rest after each one and comforted so highly by the nurses and staff. i was given head massages while they put me to sleep, and both my hands were held before and after my procedure. irene was one of the only ones i trusted to do my bloods and iv since i’ve had past medical trauma and she was a gem with me the entire time. can’t explain how thankful i am to everyone. you are in safe hands here
Happy Dreamer: I highly recommend coming here for pregnancy-related consultations. Firstly, I am a foreigner, and all the staff, from the receptionist to the nurse drawing blood and the OB doctor, were very patient in listening to me and provided timely encouragement. They patiently offered useful answers and explanations to my questions, making me feel comforted in times of helplessness and confusion. A special thanks to Dr. Sophia for her feedback and advice on my health, and also to the nurse who drew my blood; she was truly gentle.

One of my loved ones attended this clinic with her partner, she was extremely nervous but after leaving the appointment she felt much clearer about her situation. She said she couldn’t have felt more supported. The staff were lovely and were asking all do the right questions, there was no bias and she did not feel judged one bit. I was worried about her being so young that she would have a bad experience at a place like this, but this facility blew me away. K.: Best womens health doctors in town!I would recommend this clinic to any person who is seeking support for relevant conditions.The only frustrating part of visiting this clinic is that they don’t have appointments immediately and patients should expect to be, well… patient. Even at the appointment, the confidentiality and accuracy of reception staff and practitioners means that the appointments run sufficiently longer than a regular GP.This clinic will not pressure women to access contraception or termination services whatsoever, though they are available.Counselling is also available to those who are experiencing distress or nervousness during uncertain times and is free of charge.

Holly Hutchings: , you can just call the front desk and a midwife will always call you back for a thorough chat, advice or to get you in for a check up. The birth and delivery, dad and partner, sleep and first aid classes held at the clinic were great and are all included.Amy was such an incredible OB - she’s friendly, highly intelligent, funny and thorough. She anticipated early that my pregnancy might head in a certain direction and talked me through potential risks and outcomes. I was induced at 38 weeks and sure enough, what she thought might happen ended up happening - but I felt completely calm and prepared because she had informed my husband and I in advance and again on the day of our daughter’s birth. I have complete trust in the Adelaide Obs team and would have been happy with any of the Obstetricians caring for me. Delivering at Ashford was a wonderful experience too.

Maddison Veitch: After suffering a miscarriage our first pregnancy, and then experiencing some issues in the early stages of our second pregnancy, my husband and I saw Dr Stephen Lane who provided the utmost care and understanding throughout. We saw him regularly, checking baby’s growth and that everything was tracking as planned, despite the issues that we were having. He delivered our precious baby boy via C-section and always put our needs and the health of our little bubba first. We are now seeing him again for our third pregnancy/second child and couldn’t be happier. Such a lovely man and the staff at Adelaide Obstetrics are also great with patients and incredibly helpful both in the clinic and over the phone. Couldn’t speak more highly of this practice and Dr Stephen Lane.

Skye Davis: used Fertility SA to conceive a child together with IVF and we were successful on the first attempt.4 weeks ago we welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world.The whole process was naturally a lot to handle, but they were so accommodating and accepting the entire time. We both felt supported and heard.I am glad it is over, but I am also so happy we have our baby now and I couldn’t ask for a more supportive experience for such a major part of our lives.Thank you everyone at Fertility SA, especially Brooke Calo and Dr Kate ❤️
Freyja Thurston: I would definitely recommend Fertility SA to anyone wanting fertility treatment. Fertility SA was the second place I had been too for fertility treatment and there were a lot of vast differences that I found between the two. The first being that when I was discussing treatment options with my specialist, there was ALWAYS other treatment options if previous treatment protocol didn't work whereas the previous well known clinic I went to prior, did the same protocol 3 times expecting a different result. It sadly resulted in 3 failed attempts and a lot of wasted time and money. The other difference I noticed was money. With the previous clinic, I heard from Accounts more than I heard from any one else. I was also pushed to purchase medication I didn't need after my first traumatising egg collection. It wasn't pleasant. Fertility SA was always very respectful and whenever I had concerns, they answered them promptly and without pressure. They wouldn't allow me to purchase medication until it was absolutely necessary. Sure not everything is on site like egg collection or transfer however they make it as easy as possible for you. It was honestly a very well organised process and I managed to flow through it easy enough. I highly recommend Dr Vicki Nisenblat, she was fabulous, very knowledgeable and very informative. The staff were also very lovely and easy to talk too. The location was easy as there is generally a lot of available parking on South Tce

Sandra La Serra: My experience with FSA has been excellent. I was constantly told my case was difficult, and that it was going to be very hard to conceive. So I tried 3 different IVF clinics over 4 years, and I even went to the self proclaimed ‘baby whisperer’ in Melbourne Lynne burmeister out of desperation - with no success. I eventually saw Dr sally Reid at fertility SA and I can’t speak highly enough about her. Before seeing dr Reid I had no hope left and was told I needed to find an egg donor. All the doctors and clinics before dr Reid tried to do simple things like adjust the medication, or change my diet or make me take more natural pills and nothing worked. Thankfully, dr Reid had the capacity to analyze my entire situation and find an answer. On my first attempt with her, which was also going to be my last Ever IVF, and after withdrawing my super money and having been given absolutely no hope to get pregnant, dr Reid created a miracle and now I have my beautiful little boy. I found all the staff at fertility SA to be supportive, considerate, thorough, and always showing empathy. I found their labs, processes and technology to be excellent. I would just like to advise people who may be in a difficult situation conceiving to try dr Reid. I have blind faith in her now and would not hesitate to recommend her. Thank you Dr Reid and to all the team and Fertility SA.
Bronte Pine: My husband and I transferred to Fertility SA with Dr Victoria Nisenblat after years with no success at another clinic in Adelaide. We knew instantly that we were in the right place. Not only is Dr Nisenblat an incredible, thorough and caring doctor, all staff seem to follow suit. We did not come across one unsupportive team member. Instead we were nurtured and truly cared for. After years of multiple miscarriages and failed cycles, we are expecting twin boys after a successful transfer of a single embryo. I am sending all friends and loved ones who are seeking fertility support straight to Fertility SA and feel comfortable knowing they will receive the highest quality of care.

Suzanne: I have been going in and out for sometime now and I am actually doing really well due to the admissions. I have found the staff to be caring and understanding. Not every admission has gone with out a flaw. That is to be expected because no two people are the same so therefore no two nurses are the same. I have received good medical treatment and very caring staff.I would have one thing to say on the negative is the smoking area although outside has a blower above the door when people go out and come in. The only job that does is to blow the smoke back inside the hospital. The nurses station and the hallway is always smelling of smoke. A simple solution is to put an extractor fan inside that lounge area which would stop the smoke escaping to other areas of the hospital. It’s not a healthy area to be in when you use a cpap.That is the only gripe I have. The facilities and staff are of a high standard.

Lisa Pope: The nursing staff at Calvary North Adelaide are lovely - professional, caring and friendly. The food is tasty and well prepared. The hospital is a little tired but clean and more than functional. Only issue for me was that the jugged water had an odd taste that even cordial didn’t overcome. Overall you are in good hands if you have a procedure here.

The staff of St Clare ward were always there to help when needed - Corinna, the Breast Care nurse was so supportive. My room was spacious, cleaned regularly and the meals were more than adequate. I would happily return to Calvary North Adelaide again

The cause of this issue is still unknown, but I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional care I received from the medical staff and doctors. They acted swiftly and provided me with impeccable care, ensuring that I felt safe and well-cared for throughout the ordeal. I would like to give special recognition to Madam Meena, the night staff nurse, who went above and beyond in looking after me. Ian Mac: Oddly, i feel compelled to update this. COVID made a lot of health institutions struggle, and change isn't always handled well. I think the WCH has come out of the mire. Resources are always an issue in healthcare, but i've met enough staff here in Craniofacial, Dental, Mental Health, Eating disorders, gastroenterology etc...that really DO care. Good, approachable people, that will do what they can, within their power, to help. Moving in the right direction. You can't please everyone all the time, especially in resource challenged institutions. But the right people are helluva good start. And no, it's not just 'a part of the job., be patient with your carers.
Troy Nguyen: We can’t speak highly enough about the midwives and doctors at the WCH Adelaide. My wife and I had our second daughter born here, we always felt cared for and the staffs were very supportive,friendly and professional. We are grateful for the care we received and would like to shout out to India, Mira and all the other nurses and doctors who had helped us.The wait could be long and understandable as this is a public hospital and I wish this can be improved in the future.

Gaynor Cooper: We used the virtual app with a Doctor this week through WCH, gave us the ability to stay home in our comfort & for our 3 yr old. We used this to gain medical advice before venturing to E.D in the cold of night. Dr Gabby was excellent and patient. Reassurance given and referral to a specialist following day. Dr Gabby gave clear & precise information, advice given if our situation had deteriorated overnight.Totally recommend using this virtue appointment. Follow up appointment at specialist clinic next day by referral from Dr Gabby was also excellent, caring staff.
Aniket Paranjpe: Took my 7 year old daughter with high fever. Everyone was so helpful & friendly. The wait times were a bit high but everyone was doing their best & attending to patients as soon as they could. Doctor Danielle Boniface, nurse Michael, Jonty took great care & were thoroughly professional. Even volunteer Kelly who was trying to make the patients & their carers time there better. Keep up the good work fellas!
