Ryan Parsons: This is an amazing donor centre. My Dad and I have been going to donate for 10 years now, and every time we鈥檙e greeted wonderfully and the staff remember us and make us feel extremely welcome.Not many people love the process, but you鈥檙e extremely well looked after and the food and drinks during and after the donation are very niceParking is validated at many stations nearby, so between that and the tram or bus, it鈥檚 a great way to give back.

Immediately, the donation centre appears and smells clean, the staff were all very welcoming, organised and caring, even though they were under the pump.I had a nurse named Andrea process my donation and she was absolutely amazing. Andrea made it very educational but light-hearted, she genuinely cared every step of the way and her needle skills are second to none! The nurses made you feel comfortable and happily answered any questions or concerns and the donation itself was quick and easy! The inside of the establishment is a beautiful open space, with an area to eat and drink afterwards to gather your strength! I will happily donate again and would visit this clinic in a heartbeat!

If you donate plasma or platelets every few weeks the staff learn your name pretty quick, and it becomes even friendlier. The snacks and drink choices have also gotten better lately good job! Even have gluten free choices.

Brooke H: The last few times I have had amazing experiences, the staff have always been phenomenal. But the most recent time I went it was awful. While trying to distract myself on my phone the nurse made several comments about "kids and their phones today." I found this so inappropriate, I was simply trying to keep my mind off the needle and didn't need to be guilt tripped about it. When he took the needle out and I flinched he also commented, "Calm down sweetie, its not that bad." Overall not a good recent trip and might wait a while before I go back.

LouLou23ification: I went here today for my first ever blood donation. To say I was impressed is an understatement! Everything is very well explained and the staff are so professional and helpful. They are very dedicated and no one is too far away if you need anything. I did have a bit of a headache towards the end of the donation and they wasted no time in getting me a cup of water. I was then told to stay in the seat a little while longer before getting up. I was glad about that and so by the time I could walk over to their rest area I was fine. Plenty to choose from for a snack afterwards - chips, crackers, yogurts, fruit juices, sausage rolls, coffee and there鈥檚 even a milkshake maker there! I鈥檓 going to try the plasma donation next time 馃ぉ

They are cutting down on plastic so bring your own water bottle if you want to. There's hot and cold filtered water on tap.I started giving blood, then learnt about plasma donation, then graduated to platelets, This is my favourite donor centre as the staff are extra friendly and attentive - more than 30 visits now so they're familiar faces 馃槆.All Lifeblood centres are very professional and serious about donor care. I never leave feeling any different except for the inner glow of helping someone ... and that cappuccino I had.
