Dill Pickles: I had a great time visiting Cooper's Ale House for the first time! We came at the dinner rush and were seated and eating within 15 minutes. The Szechuan chicken salad was a highlight, really flavourful and the chicken was grilled perfectly. Usually I avoid breast, but the chicken was juicy and delicious. My friend and I were looking to have a quiet drink and book club after dinner, and the redheaded manager was so lovely and accommodating. She went out her way to seat us in a quiet spot when she saw we had books out. Food, staff, atmosphere were excellent, definitely coming back.

Miss J: Nice ambiance with indoor and verandah seatings. Sourdough was really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Good bread. 2 racks of ribs were marinated in bbq sauce and the meat just falls off the bone. Tastes so good. T Bone was cooked medium rare and so tender, it melts in your mouth. Went really well with the blue cheese sauce. Mushroom sauce was also really delicious, wish I had more. Housemade fries were crispy enough. And greens paired well with all the meats. Toasted almonds were crunchy. Pricey for the size served but they all tasted good.

Eddie Nasser: Great food. Excellent service. The waitress that looked after me the whole night had a beautiful smile and a genuine care to ensure I had an enjoyable meal. Very well trained and attentive staff who absolutely understand the meaning of hospitality. Not sure what my servers name was but she and the chefs concern in making sure I was enjoying my food showed their passion. My caesar salad was amazing and my steak cooked to perfection. Well done to the team. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Adelaide. As a chef and a lifetime hospitality professional that works day in day out with hospitality based businesses, my dining experience was A1. A note to the young lady with the dark hair, as I was dining alone your attentiveness and warm caring smile made my night. ❤️ Well done to the whole team. This was hospitality done right. 10/10 and I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in Adelaide.

The super complete bunk beds, with storage area inside and outside and curtains to have all your privacy as if you were in your own room. Great cleaning, they leave everything very clean every day.I have been very comfortable, the good service and the good atmosphere have made me feel at home. If I go back to Adelaide, this will be the place I stay again without a doubt ❤️

The rooms were modern and well appointed. On the first night we had an issue with the hot water but as soon as we told the front desk they offered to change our room but as we were headed out and didnt want to pack up again they sent a maintenance person who promptly fixed the issue. Fev Simatos: We have been visiting HoC for over a decade. Tonight was the best it has been in a while. New menu, same favourite dishes. Crispy Duck pancakes, best crispy duck ever. Jennifer Marshall: Sad history for this Zoo, especially for George the Orangatan and various incidents that occurred from its inception. There was a wide and varied display of animals in clean enclosures. Enclosures could be much larger but I understand it's hard when there's only a limited amount of Zoo property. Overall, the amenities were great, the staff were informative and polite and the entrance fees were reasonable.

Proudly as a lifetime member of Adelaide Zoo, I booked a flight all the way from Sydney to Adelaide in the last week of August 2024 to celebrate their birthday before they go back to China. And the giant pandas definitely make Adelaide Zoo the best zoo in Australia! They are so cute and adorable! I’m even thinking about moving to Adelaide so that I can go here every one or two days.The other animals such as little blue penguins are lovely as well.
