Adelaide Planetarium: what do users think?

Anton Khrapov: Absolutely great place for astronomy enthusiasts of all ages!Visited on Weekend Reservation recommended Yes …

Fabiana RJ: I highly reccomend going to the Planetarium. It's fun for famikies of all ages. The night sky presentation is fun, engaging and informative. Then afterwards a movie is shown. All the movies available for each different session are great and they each suit different age groups which is great if you have little ones as they have a movie called Tyco to the Moon which is very popular. My family has been attending the Planetarium for the last 11 years and it doea not ever get boring. And, we have seen all the different movies. Plus, it is not expensive and there are some space themed items to purchase which are pretty cool and reasonably priced.

Vikki B: Went yesterday for the presentation on black holes, we learnt so much and are going to book the kids in for the school holiday program and will now visit the international dark space to look at the stars in their beauty! Thanks to Mary 😊

Bob: Excellent presentation perhaps could be shortened a tad. The presenter portrayed very professionally with an indepth knowledge. Would recommend children at 20 years plus. Overall very well done. guys

Benzema: Great experience watching all the stars on the big screen

Ayak Angok: THIS IS A-MA-ZING! even though iv never been there, I HAVE EXPERIENCE! I have a planetarium at my high school as you may know Hamilton Secondary collage! It's was amazing the roof was like curved and everything!, And the seats! Fabulous!! Anyway ty for listen to me 3

Trena Williamson: Fantastic for kids and families.

David Murphy: Awesome experience, Paul is a fantastic lecturer.

Catherine Thiele: Have attended many courses here with my fiancee. So much fun!

Irène Moreau: Bless Yoshimi, she taught us dumplings and was such a wonderful and happy teacher

Dia Zam: Excellent place to learn a wide range of things

Pamela Ong: Have participated in the swimming lessons conducted at Oaks, and the instructors were great. Mark was exceptionally encouraging and provided individual attention. Sam was good and motivational, as well. Overall, it was non judgemental and a great learning experience. Look forward to next season.

Sheryl Milne: Really research the course that you sign up for, because the WEA magazine doesn't have detailed information

Shawnee Mepham: Had a great day learning leather decorating from Heidi!

Diane Cass: I have done many courses here and absolutely love it. The teachers have all been of a high caliber, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the building/equipment is perfect. I cannot speak highly enough of this great, local resource.

Deborah Lilley: Found the course the team at the front reception and teacher to be very professional, engaging, friendly and very approachable. Most helpful and attentive to my questions.

Maggie Godde: I recently did sandal making and cheeses making courses. Both instructors were fantastic. So helpful and knowledgeable.Would recommend to anyone who's been thinking of doing either of them.

Yulia: Great! Awesome staff

Kristin Jones: Over the years I have done numerous wonderful courses with the WEA including picture framing, bicycle maintenance, computer skills for Mac, Thai cookery, cheese making, home maintenance, pattern making, upholstery and most recently sourdough bread making.I have enjoyed every course I did and some have been excellent and all have been good.I haven't any photos to add but over the years have recommended courses to others as being affordable, great value and all really helpful.

Vilia “The nymph of the woods.”: I've been on several WEA day tours and one week long tour hosted by Dr Dennis and Trevor. They are always friendly and so knowledgeable on the areas we visit, especially the local history. Written notes are always extensive. The little library is outside WEA, just to the right of the main doors.

Australian Space Discovery Centre: what do users think?

YIEN WANG: Great place to visit, especially for children. Like the presentation. And appreciate the activities for children.

Yana Klein: Absolutely loved the presentations and interactive experiences at the Space Discovery Center, even came back the next day for a second time, learnt quite a few new things and would definitely recommend it

Di Ya: I’m officially a fan! This place is so much fun and knowledge for kids and adults!Stuff is simply amazing!Just love it!

Christina Ycasiano: Probably one of my most fav places that we visited on our trip to Adelaide. So many interactive and thought provoking activities - great for future space explorers and adults. Definitely recommend checking out!

Melanie Hogg: Absolutely fantastic! A great experience for the whole family. Takes the ideas of space out science fiction and into science reality in a way that is exciting and real. Staff are enthusiastic, engaging, super smart and fun.

Dharshana Sivapatham: Fantastic place for kids who love pushing buttons, robots, rockets and space. There was something for everyone and an awesome device that triangulated the exact position of certain objects in space - go see for yourself! The presentation was an excellent wrap up of the whole visit - funny, endearing and informative - thank you and keep up the good work!

Kieran Nurmi: While it's no Questacon or Investigator Science Centre, they makes good use of its space in a way that's reminiscent of the cup noodle museum in Osaka. There's a few things with buttons for kids to push, like blowing space junk out of the sky with lasers, but I'd expect them to get bored quickly since there's not a lot to play with. Unless they already are really excited about space, probably not going to hold the attention of someone under school ageI was in and out within half an hour so consider it as something if you've got time to kill in the city but don't plan a day around it.

email name: Though it is a little small, it is very informative and engaging, a great direction for the state to be going in. The kids activities are really great, especially in the holidays

Felicity Thomas: My kids loved this... Knowledgeable and passionate educators on hand to explain things, fun interactive exhibits. You can even try freeze dried ice-cream from the shop! We'll worth a visit.

Deepak Sharma: It's a good opportunity for everyone to be like math science lovers.

Lauren Thyer: The best decision I ever made was coming to this school, for the first time I'm at school with people who understand me! It is such an amazing environment!

nino tard: hello tielman

Alex Hyde: The best decision I ever made was transferring to this school

Indu K: Best decision I ever made to transfer my daughter from private school to ASMS. Best education and services. Highly recommend this place if your child is interested in science and mathematics. They also have good welfare and mental health support for children.

Jaiden Spencer: A VERY REAL quote from someone who went to ASMS, on how it felt:"I cannot describe it completely — but imagine holding your breath, beyond urge, beyond pain, beyond desperation — head throbbing and eyes bulging — a dream of suffocation without end. My skin blistered and split; biting insects descended rapidly. I felt eggs hatch, larvae crawl, gases build and burst within me, individual cells rupturing, interstitial fluids souring and blackening. Somehow my capacity to experience and store these sensations grew — even as I was keenly aware of my cerebrum being scattered and devoured, my perception expanded, into the gizzards of birds and the depths of fire ant dens. I was aware of every fingernail and strand of hair that pulled away in the wind — and my sensation clung to them as they settled in the ocean and dissolved in the maws of a trillion diatoms. The more bits of me there were, the larger my capacity for the perception of pain. As I decayed into pieces smaller than living nerves could possibly distinguish, the character of the discomfort changed — from burning and aching and breaking I might relate to you in human terms — to something worse that I cannot fully articulate: a terrible, maddening stretching of every part of myself from every other part. Humans often numb to chronic pains in life, do they not? Yet every year, every month, every second that passed — I swear it only intensified over time."Sounds incredible! 11/10 school.

Blake: They taught me what 1+1 is today. All in all pretty good maths school

Harry: This school is great

David Trembath: An affordable year 10-12 School for gifted Math and English learners

Hugh Weeks: Nice atmosphere great teachers

Jonah Gigbug: me learn science and math

Baz Sam: They ate my children, so this school must be great. Either that or the dissolved themselves in acid or something...

MOD.: what do users think?

Courtney Barnes: Really enjoyed this little museum. Not large, and geared predominantly towards school-aged kids, I went as a solo adult and had a good time. Kind of a museum of experimental philosophy, in parts, but very approachable to think about our present and our future. Well done.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

mandyGoTravelling: MOD is opened by university of south australia and is a futuristic museum of discovery. It’s a place to be and be inspired by ideas at the intersection of science, art, and innovation.i quite like the displaying screen on the ground floor, you can see a kangaroo moving when you touch on the screen, such a lovely little interactioneven the content of this exhibition is a bit abstract though not bad hanging around and take a look, and you can also draw your own painting on second floor, do appreciate many little things here haa, good having many interactionsMOD.rating of mine: 4

Melissa Nguyen: Its a very fun place, its absolutely free to enter, its intriguing for both kids and adults to go here and have fun exploring. The technology is advanced, i remember I was at the top of the staircase and the chandeliers were reacting to the sounds I made by lighting up in different colours and patterns. I also remember seeing extremelt realistic well made replicas of human super organs that could help us adpat on other planets/harsh environments. I urge you to go this place immediately, its free, and its a fun way to burn the time while in the city. I heard the stations change every six months, so you may not see the things that I have listed. Have fun there!
