Dieni van Stralen: Everyone always says that they can’t draw or paint to save themselves. Well last Monday night proved them all wrong. I think most people were delighted with their first attempt in years or since school with what they achieved in just 2 and a half hours! This was a delightful evening and made very enjoyable by the expert guidance of our teacher Cynthia! I am looking forward to the next few weeks to hone my skills with my fellow students. Things are definitely better with bubbles!!

Connie O'Brien: Went in to find mica powder. Whilst the lovely man serving wasn't completely sure what I needed, he really went out of the way to assist me. He did find the product I wanted in storage, but didn't have the colour. However this turned into an unexpected bonus because he did show me other colours which gave me a whole different way to do what I needed to. I will be going back for more supplies when I'm in the area again. Highly recommend for support and not being pushy.

I can highly recommend Larissa Fraser’s water colours and any of the art mentoring sessions. And of course Reubens and Zali the Italian Greyhounds are the most adorable art assistants ever.

Alesha: Despite me not living close this is my go-to for embroidery supplies. They have far more colours of embroidery threads in stock than a lot of other stores and the shelves and consistently neater. Their range of fabrics is decent as well and their member prices are a nice discount that doesn't feel like nothing. The staff have always been very helpful and friendly in helping to locate items and get through the checkout quickly.

Vilia “The nymph of the woods.”: I've been on several WEA day tours and one week long tour hosted by Dr Dennis and Trevor. They are always friendly and so knowledgeable on the areas we visit, especially the local history. Written notes are always extensive.The little library is outside WEA, just to the right of the main doors.

Christine Fenech: Popped in today to top up a couple of oil paints, if you want top quality artist materials and the knowledge to use them this is the best art store in South Australia. It’s also definitely the prettiest! Plenty of brands and products you can’t purchase in person anywhere else in the state. Ive never had a problem with my online orders either, but go in in person if you can, you’ll learn something.

The owner has always been patient with our endless questions, she is incredibly knowledgeable always happy to help. She is encouraging, and an inspiration to anyone who want to learn the art's.

Cherylea “Wickednails” The Original: Great place to visit for all watercolour paint supplies the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and offer samples of new watercolour papers that come into try before buying and aqua board samples. Great range of pens, paints, brushes, notepads, papers, easels, charcoal, to bows, gel pens, empty watercolour pots, hard and soft paints, felts, classes, markers, rulers, erasers and a broad range of quality good for all artistic needs and many mediums to choose from. A great stop in shop for anyone passing through Harndorff anytime.

Hope Herbert: I was ecstatic when I received my beautiful silver black brushes . Postage was quick and inalso recieved some beautiful samples of paint and 2 types of watercolour paper.
