Brett David: Four Oaks has to be one of the nicest country venues in Adelaide Hills. Massive thanks to our wonderful and accomodating hosts Sue and Doug who allowed our Four Oaks country Music festival to take over the set for the day - everybody had a magical time including friends, families and children. The mix of great music, food, kids pony rides, fire truck rides within the beautiful manicured farm setting made for a perfect day out - we look forward to doing it all again soonest.

There are lots of activities that kids and even adults would enjoy - horseriding, pony riding, fire engine ride on a mini van. There are birds, pony, horses, ducks in the farm. A ground for football or cricket, barbecue hut, hall for indoor events, toilet facility. Good parking space as well. It's a nice place. Highly recommended.

Jennifer Marshall: Sad history for this Zoo, especially for George the Orangatan and various incidents that occurred from its inception. There was a wide and varied display of animals in clean enclosures. Enclosures could be much larger but I understand it's hard when there's only a limited amount of Zoo property. Overall, the amenities were great, the staff were informative and polite and the entrance fees were reasonable.

And the giant pandas definitely make Adelaide Zoo the best zoo in Australia! They are so cute and adorable! St Raphael's School, Parkside: It was an incredible day at Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary as part of our school's Cultural Immersion Program!Our visiting Chinese students got up close and personal with some of Australia's most iconic wildlife, including snakes, lizards, koalas, kangaroos, emus, and so much more. This hands-on experience allowed everyone to learn about the unique animals that call Australia home in a beautiful natural setting.Warrawong is not just a sanctuary; it’s a vital part of Australia’s conservation history, providing a real wildlife experience. Our students participated in engaging activities, including wildlife shows and reptile handling, making unforgettable memories.

Wendy Harris: A truly memorable experience to share with our international guests today. The owners are true conservationists, working so hard to rescue and care for Australian wildlife. At the same time, they share their vast knowledge of our wildlife with enthusiasm. Plenty of kangaroos, emus, koalas etc to interact with, in a beautiful natural and well maintained setting, conveniently close to the main drag in Hanhdorf. I highly recommend Warrawong. If you have the chance, go and visit! Fabulous!!
Cindy Rellaz: This is one of the only sanctuarys I've been to where the animals are actually looked after properly! Even the parrots cage was extremely clean. Absolutely adored the cafe with the glass view of birds. Beautiful walk and scenery. A must see if visiting Adelaide.

Jessie Bowley: Did the Raptor Encounter here. Was amazing. They have 3 owls, a falcon & a beautiful young wedge tail eagle that are all gorgeous. The bird handler Amy was very nice & even gendered me as female. Which was very unexpected because I never tell people I am transgender or expect to be seen or acknowledged as such, but very appreciative 🙂 The kangaroos are so gentle with feeding & incredibly good with human interaction & petting. Wonderful place. Can't recommend it enough.

Approx 300 orphaned and injured animals and birds are housed throughout 6 acres of onsite facilities. Minton Farm Native Animal Rescue Centre is owned and managed by Mrs. Bev Langley. Over 13,200 injured and orphaned creatures have been housed onsite that have been referred to the Centre by Councils, Cleland Wildlife, Adelaide Zoo and 18 Vets.
To provide individualized high quality rescue, care and rehabilitation of a compassionate nature, to injured and orphaned native animals and birds in a caring environment, to educate and enrich the lives of community members.
The first of its kind in South Australia, this facility will build raptor wing strength in preparation for its release back into the wild. A paddock has been levelled, retaining wall constructed and road base laid. Concrete piers support 24 steel columns with stainless steel threaded netting across the roof 6m high. Foundations are being poured for a plinth around the bottom edge of the flight, and then shadecloth walls will be attached in the coming weeks. Funds are being sought to construct the circular flight with a central column to encourage birds to fly around it with no end in sight. This will give the birds a greater fitness and better chance of survival once released.

Kate Mcloughlin: This is the third year I've ordered from AHCT, and the tree was as gorgeous as ever. Even in the extreme heat this year the tree was fresh and bushy, and smelled divine. The delivery and pickup was painless, the price is excellent for what you're getting, and the team is great to deal with. I got the larger tree this year and it was so wonderful. I had it delivered at the end of November and it was only just starting to look a bit sad by New Year's Day - and even then probably only because we forgot to top up the water on one of the 40+ degree days. I definitely recommend this business, I'll be ordering from them this year too!

Our tree this year was equally as beautiful. It was a beautiful, well formed, well shaped, lush tree. Throughout this extremely hot weather that we've had across Adelaide this year, the tree still looked in really good condition, even when it was taken down on New Years Day. I am a definite convert to Adelaide Hill Christmas trees. They run a very professional company and the trees are the best I've seen in many many years and we have had a fresh tree every year for over 40 years. My daughter and her husband also purchased a tree through them over the last 2 years and they were equally as delighted as us.
