Adelaide Central YHA: what do users think?

Ambassadorial trionfo: I miss this place I like the second floor balcony

Sally Wallace: Clean and comfortable with lovely service.

Nindya Cahya Dewanti (Nindy): I recently stayed at YHA Adelaide Central and had a fantastic experience! I stayed at a private room with my friend, which was incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff here are also exceptional. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Julia. S: Nice, large hostel with lots of space in the lounge area and in the clean and well-equipped kitchenSafety: Surveillance cameras and feeling safe thereWalkability: Quickly walked into the city center.Food & drinks: Free BBQ and always space in the kitchen

Angelica Catalan: Right in the middle of the city! Very decently priced and great facilities. They have a floor just for kitchens and have 6 stations to accommodate the crowd. There's also a quiet room for work and study. It also helped for them to have a scale in the lobby for us to weigh our carry on with ease. Room is decent but the walls are very thin and you can pretty much hear everything so you need to set the right expectations.

Joel Lammeretz: This hostel was fantastic for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The best part were the enormous common areas! They had a variety of rooms, including TV rooms, a quiet room, and even a shared library. The kitchen was massive, with tons of stovetops for everyone to cook.It wasn't quite as social as some hostels, like Sunrise Tequila Hostel. The sheer size of the place made it a bit trickier to bump into people. However, I still met some fellow travelers in the kitchen, common rooms, and even in my dorm room. The beds were pretty standard hostel fare - comfortable but not super fancy, and there weren't any individual privacy curtains like some hostels have. One downside was the price. It skyrocketed during the weekend because of a golf tournament in town, and there was only one room left. But generally, the price seems very reasonable for the quality you get. Overall, a great choice for a chill stay!

K L: Nice accommodation for the price. showers have a decent changing bench to put change of clothes. shower is pressure type head rather than my preferred spray. less holes for water to come out. Very nice kitchen and dining area with a pool table. very centrally located within walking distance to rundle mall and Chinatown/Adelaide market.

Matthew Yong-O'Gorman: It's a bit dated now, but still a very beautiful hotel.

Stephie Borgford: I recently stayed at Hilton Adelaide and had an excellent experience. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The view from my room was amazing, adding to the overall experience. The hotel’s central location is a major plus, with Chinatown just a few steps away and plenty of food options nearby. It’s truly an amazing property, perfectly situated for exploring the city. I highly recommend Hilton Adelaide for anyone looking for a comfortable, centrally-located stay with excellent service!

Lee Waters: Really great central location. Right next to tram station and literally round the corner from the excellent central market. Other than that a standard corporate hotel.Decent, consistent offer. Nothing to criticise, but not much to write home about either.Walkability: Right in heart of CBD, all main servjces and attractions accessible by foot

Jonathan Hu: .

Aldo Mario: Very strategic place in very middle of CBD Adelaide that close to everywhere and every bis stop to anywhere, Rooms is very nice as we get 13th floor that can see beautiful scenery of Adelaide city and service is marvellous from check in process, breakfast, using the facility such as Gym, Tennis court and swimming pool!Totally recommended and we're looking forward to be back!

Richard Cunningham: The Hilton is well located by the free tram that will take you to the city mall, stadium, art gallery, wine museum, and market etc. Perfect. The whole friendly staffing team did their job and each in their own way contributed to a great stay. The rooms, the food, and service was top draw. I will definitely stay there next time in town and recommend it.Rooms: Well set up and clean.Nearby activities: Located to provide access to most Adelaide must do's.Safety: Never felt unsafe. A great city.Walkability: Could walk to most things.....the central market is super close and then there is the free tram.Food & drinks: The hotel provides great food and a great range of wines which is what I enjoy.Noteworthy details: The staffing team.

Roaming Bush Barbie: I wasn't particularly impressed with this hotel. The rooms are a shocker!!! Really outdated and unclean, certainly not a 5 star accommodation if the rooms are anything to go by. There are way too many staff at the reception but only one serving at a time so the lines go check in are long. Despite the staff being nice I found the $100 a night for bond off putting and I was super annoyed when I saw the type of room I got for that amount and bond. The location was great and the buffet breakfast was really delicious however I wouldn't be staying here again not for that rate or bond.

Ngoc Nguyen: Good hotel 🏨

subas subedi: Located in the heart of Adelaide with a spectacular view of the town. Very comfortable and a magnificent place for a family to spend couple of nights during your travel. Don’t forget to enjoy the Breakfast, it’s very effective especially when you’re on your way back home.Rooms: Spacious room with a nice view.Walkability: You can walk around the block and enjoy your evening. Walk all the way to Rundle Mall and few historic places nearby .Food & drinks: China Town is next door , you may enjoy the food.

Winston Spitzer: I stayed here quite extensively. Sometimes for 3 month on end. The rooms are all quite the same. Only difference is for how many people they are. There is a kitchen and a bathroom a bedroom and a living room. Or you can have more ved rooms. All rooms are quite similar. But they are nice. They are cleened weekly and there is a nice breakfast restaurant. Friendly personnel.

Peter Ryan: bedroom. We were there in late May. Hate to think what it would be like in Adelaide's summer!

Jan Sturgess: Well equipped rooms with essential provisions and toiletries provided. Rest to have a washing machine and dryer. The apartment was clean but fairly basic. Best part is the central location as you can walk to any city location.Walkability: Great central location

Bing Archibald: I was staying at this hotel for a conference at the exhibition center. Perfect location for any event at Adelaide Oval also. I was assisted by a member of staff named Yats who was very kind and assisted me with any needs. Highly recommend excellent serviceWalkability: Close to everything

Gavin Day (GD): Had a major function here. Great location. They need to organise your bar staff and catering. The event ran out of coopers beer in 40 minutes. Then there was a shortage on other beers all night. Meals were excellent, though.A bit more training in table staff as they seemed to be disorganised. Alot of table service was missed.

John Goodridge: This place has always had high levels of quality and service 👏

Nadia KH: Best place to stay in the city!

Robbie Lennard: ... when a beauteous crystalof enlightenmentand 4 true-blue human-beingsfirst met... when Robbie and Aashishand Virajand Crystalfirst met

Margaret Bouma: Very happy with our 3 night stay here. The hotel is centrally located and the reception staff were professional and helpful. Our room was larger than expected, plus clean and tidy, with housekeeping done everyday. The room is a little old but this was more than compensated for by cleanliness, location, and service. The restaurant is also well priced and has a great selection on the menu. When booking direct with the hotel, parking was provided free of charge at the nearby Wilson’s car park, which is a short walk away via quaint alleyway with a very European vibe.

Dr Brett Heagren: and house-keeping was done everyday. While the room itself may not have had the most up-to-date features, this was more than compensated for by both cleanliness, location, and service - all of which I feel is far more important. The hotel also has the added bonus of having a great and well priced eating establishment- Maison Clement - on premise.

Tristan Sanchez: and public transport

Clare Bradley: We had a great stay at the Chancellor on Currie, during Adelaide's busiest March festival period. The rooms were older but fabulous because of it IMO -- I just love a hotel room with a bath and a decent armchair! That said, the mattress was a bit on the soft side. The pool, spa and gym facilities were fairly basic but very clean and serviceable. The best part was the fabulous in-house restaurant! I've never stayed in a hotel where I'd be both happy to and be able to afford to eat in every meal. We'll certainly return.Walkability: Centrally located with the increasingly excellent range of restaurants and bars on Currie, Peel and Hindley St laneways a mere stone's throw away.Food & drinks: In-house restaurant Maison Clement was a delight - reasonably priced and excellent quality French food, and friendly, capable staff.

Kit Busto: Overall our experience with the Pullman was fantastic. A big shout out to Christophe who was working as the concierge, funny, charming and an absolute gem. The rooms were modern and well appointed. On the first night we had an issue with the hot water but as soon as we told the front desk they offered to change our room but as we were headed out and didnt want to pack up again they sent a maintenance person who promptly fixed the issue. The PARC bar made great cocktails and the kids loved the pool and spa facilities. I would highly recommend The Pullman to anyone be it for

Heather Lawson: and plenty of living room space. Easily enough room for two families. The kitchen has everything you need, there's a full laundry room and even a beach toy cupboard! Host Amy is super helpful and friendly. We loved being across the road from the beach and a short walk from lots of fab restaurants

Clyde Rigney: Great location, perfect place to unwind, beach, food, coffee and McLaren Vale nearby for some wine tasting 👍🏾

Henk deVisser: Top position. Cleaners need to pay attention to detail.A new oven needed as does not heat properly. No desert spoons in drawers, so had to use soup spoons.Otherwise would recommend.

Claire Hinds: Older style hotel, but lovely. Was there in business. The rooms are quite spacious and the heater works well.Showers take a bit of time to heat up but nothing to complain about .Great location for eating out, many restaurants to choose from .Definitely look forward to staying there again.

Al Bartos: I would give this place 6 stars out of 5 if I could. I came down with my family last week for the footy and while the Crows had a stinker this motel was a winner. It’s a gorgeous little boutique inn right in the heart of North Adelaide. The rooms were immaculate and well maintained and staff couldn’t have been any friendlier. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool and the wife and I enjoyed taking a dip in the spa. You can spend a fortune on other hotels, trust me I have, but nothing compares to the charm and character of this place, especially considering how close it is to Adelaide Oval. There are countless scrumptious restaurants in walking distance, I recommend Cafe Palazzo. This will be the only place I stay in Adelaide from now on.

Priscilla Willis: The Adelaide Inn in O’Connell Street in Adelaide would get 11/10 from me if I could rank it up there, stayed here AGAIN overnight in May 2024, I just keep coming back I adore this Motel I find its location very central a walk distance to anywhere you need entertainment, good food, a great view, awesome staff, great locality you name it the Adelaide Inn has it, the rooms are 5⭐️, service is very welcoming, its rooms are convenient and quiet, YES it’s a 5⭐️ from meRooms: Beautiful, lots of different choice, I have stayed in multiple choice rooms, SPA room, just a walk in shower room and most recently a room with a beautiful shower rose over the lengthy long bath, hygiene in each room is of the highest priority and really worth the money paid for staying hereSafety: Absolutely feel secure here both personally and with my belongings, never in all my reoccurring stays have I ever felt this Motel or it’s surroundings are cause for concern, CCTV is paramount in and around the premisesWalkability: Everything you need and want is right on your doorstep, eateries, fuel, supermarket, entertainment, bars you name it O’Connell Street has itNoteworthy details: My review tells all about my re-occurring stays here at the Adelaide Inn, it’s worth noting it’s a highly recommended Motel from very personal experience

Brett Boston: Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value

Michelle Marc: Safety: The area surrounding the hotel felt safe and the hotel itself was controlled.Walkability: Right on the Main Street with plenty of cafes and restaurants. Bus stop at the door as well.Food & drinks: The restaurant was cozy and welcoming.

Michael Rogers: Great place to stay with plenty of eateries in the area. Rooms are a little retro but clean and very spacious. Very happy with the overall choice. Only issue you need to decide is whether you need parking because parking is limited and is an assigned pays only. When booking make sure that you book a parking space if you are going to be taking your car.

One of the free city buses stop is just around the corner and near the tram line.Really good apartment for a family to stay at.If we ever go to Adelaide, we will probably stay here again.Rooms: Very quiet. Philip Walter: , but served their purpose. On site parking was a handy add-on for those with car/rental cars.Rooms: Small. Minimal space in the room for passage around the queen bed.

Racquel Yamat: . To rectify the issue, we were offered a different room by the Night Auditor who was very polite, helpful and apologetic. The new room did have issues as well

Jason Lao: Well equipped studio apartment that has been recently refurbished with new paint and new mattress. Some of the plugs and bathroom and television are a little bit older but definitely worth the money. Gym access is via Uni SA with pass to be collected from reception.Slightly noisy on a Saturday night with parties nearby but convenient location to hospital or convention centre!Friendly staff. Would return if the price is right.

Beatrice Soe: Positive :- Near city.- Exactly beside University, so its very safe area.- Clean room.- Kitchen is fully equipped.- Airport bus stop can be reached by 3-5 minutes by walking.- Free city tram can be reach around 5 minutes by walking.- They provide washer and dryer inside room including detergent.- They provide Rice Cooker.Negative :- No lift for the whole 2 weeks we stayed .So better call them first before make a booking.- If you choose room with no cleaning , it means no cleaning AT ALL , even you stay for 2 weeks.- Receptionist are hit and miss, some of them are nice , some of them are not.

Mansions on Pulteney: what do users think?

Rachel Watts: I stayed for a week in early June for a conference and was really happy I chose this hotel. It’s a really great location, the rooms are comfortable and although reception isn’t open on the weekend the service was so accomodating. It’s in the middle of the city and the street noise did bother me the first night, but I quickly got more used to it and to be fair the location outweighed any of that discomfort. The university is just across the road and the art gallery, botanic gardens and dining on Rundle St East of the Mall are all an easy walk. The hotel is a charming heritage building and I really enjoyed walking in the doors each evening. Thanks to the team who made it such a pleasant stay.Rooms: Very comfortable bed, equipped kitchen, comfortable space. A little cold in the evenings, but an extra blanket is provided.Walkability: Right in the middle of the city, you can walk most places in the CBD within 25 mins and there’s a taxi rank very close by.

Jae Sconce: If you are looking for an accommodation experience that isn't a 5 star multinational owned tower, but offers a historic location with thoughtful & comfortable appointments, then perhaps this place is for you. I've stayed at The Intercontinental, The Hilton & The Stamford numerous times, & what they offer is a generic notion of luxury. My suite had more than I needed for my 3 night stay ie a full kitchen etc, especially since the hotel's proximity to Rundle St restaurants & bars made cooking an option that I didn't take up. I was afforded my privacy, which I value greatly. I'll be booking in again next visit without a doubt.

Bree Wyatt: This apartment provided us a private haven to escape the chaos of a family visit.Location was great, facilities good, kitchen well supplied, and comfortable bed. The refurbishment seemed recent, room was spacious and comfortable.Reception team were kind and friendly. Just what we needed after a drive over three days, to arrive.Parking is in a secure site across the road from the apartments, so just be prepared when you check in to utilise the loading zone, nearby.Rooms: Large, clean, newly refurbished and comfortableWalkability: Right in the city and close to public transport

Aasma Chougle: Incredible stay with massive rooms and great locationI booked mansions on Pulteney quite last minute and was fairly surprised. The rooms are extremely spacious with high ceilings, fully equipped kitchen and they have been renovated recently so the decor and equipment is very modern. It definitely felt like a treat staying here. The staff was very friendly too and were willing to provide information on things to do around Adelaide. The location is amazing, just a stone’s throw away from Rundle mall and plenty of shops, cafes and parks. While Christmas time was a bit quieter, it helped being in the middle of the city as there were always people aroundI would definitely recommend you stay here and will be staying here if I am ever in Adelaide again

Robert Hamilton: Really nice rooms, very friendly and helpful reception. Secure location.

Jan McSwain: Refurbished apartment was large, immaculately clean, plenty of crockery and cutlery and a very comfortable bed. Kevin was very friendly and helpful and the location just round the Rundle Mall was superb.

Syed Shah: Good

Scott Mackenzie: Excellent location, very attentive and professional staff - Julian at the front counter was amazing. Briefed me quickly on where to go , what to do and was just super efficient. The rooms were great , big and airy - older style, but I quite liked it. I'll will be bringing my family back to stay in a few months time to see more of beautiful Adelaide and S.A. I will be staying at the Mansions on Pulteney ! Need I say more.
