Anne Reynolds: Such a happy day, visited special wineries, so informative and great wines. Also the lunch was excellent thank you. Enjoyed Toms company 👍👍
ian mcneilage: We had a great time with Matthew on our recent tour. He is very knowledgeable about the region and the wines as well as being outgoing and personable. He selected four great wineries for our visit which gave us a good introduction to the Barossa. No hesitation in recommending Matthew, for sure you will enjoy
Brenda Fake: We hail from California and have done a good share of visits to many of the wine areas in our state as well as Oregon, Washington and Europe …. Mark was an amazing host to get us to the smaller vineyards, give great insight to the Barossa area … and simply let the experience speak for itself !! …. we left learning something and have a bit of a cultural exchange ….Each of the places he chose welcomed us with open arms , great Aussie warmth and their own witty humor …. While we are limited in buying anything due to carryon restrictions we couldn't resist the wine is that good ….. next the lunch venue was THE best food we’ve had in AUS since arriving two weeks ago …. Not kidding even a little highly recommend this team of wine professionals to get you around the Barossa region …. It will be money well spent and an afternoon with some of the best Australia has to offer … thank you !!!

Cathleen Goble: BAROSSA VALLEY WINE TOUR – SHARED GROUPFrom the moment we were picked up at our hotel in Adelaide until we returned that evening Matthew was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about wines and the area. Fantastic driver in a very comfortable vehicle. We stopped at 4 wineries with many tastings at each location. I loved that the wineries we stopped at were geared towards the group that we were travelling with. amazing selection of wines at smaller wineries. lunch was delicious at Vino Lokal. great small group option. we had 4 people on our tour.I would highly recommend this tour. While booking add in notes of your wine preferences so they can customize the trip as best as possible to your likes.I cant wait until the next time I'm in the area to take another tour to the other wine regions of the area. Thanks again for a fantastic day!
Ka Kar: It’s an exceptional experience with great wines and food. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable about wines, and helpful. The car we traveled in was extremely clean and comfortable. A great experience, highly recommended!
Melanie Pearson: . Lunch at Jacob’s Creek was also amazing! Small Batch nailed our brief and gave us an outstanding experience. Thanks so much team!
Jane Priestley: Wonderful experience! Our driver/guide Matt was friendly and knowledgeable. Each cellar door was matched to our tastes and offered different perspectives on the wines of the region.Would definitely recommend to everyone!
Joanne X: Great half day tour with Matt! We weren't after a busy day and he kept it at exactly the right pace.
Helen Dewey: A terrific day of unhurried tastings at lovely venues with delightful company and interesting commentary from Tom our driver
Aaron Nicoll: Matt was great, recommendations were bang on for my taste in wine. Reasonably priced and great value overall was an exceptional day. Thanks Matt!
Jessica: . We were part of a small group of 4 and visited 4 great vineyards. Paul was able to really add to the experience with a wealth of wine making knowledge. Lunch at a local restaurant was also delicious!
Daniel Dwyer: Matt was incredible! Really got to know us and was able to taylor our wine tour to our taste. He was very knowledgeable about the region. Great lunch location at Vino Lokal, where the ‘feed me’ option, selected by Matt was perfect👌
David Rimmer: ! Would definitely recommend.
Tim Macdonald: A lovely day out in the McLaren Vale with Tom as our host who was great company. We visited a lovely mix of smaller and up and coming wineries in the region and were treated like friends wherever we went. Lunch at the Salopian Inn was excellent! Would recommend Small Batch to anyone looking for a pleasant day out in the McLaren Vale and a great snapshot of the region!
Paul LoPiccolo: We toured the Barossa Valley visiting 4 great vineyards. Our tour guide Matt was very knowledgeable about the area and wineries and we enjoyed the conversation throughout the day. We had an awesome lunch in Tanunda. Wines were so good, we are shipping lots back to the US. Thank you for a great day.
V: Such a great way to experience a variety of wineries with some definite gems! Matt was very knowledgeable and fun. Thanks for a wonderful day!
Gemma Goldhagen: We took a tour with Tom to McLaren Vale on Gather Round weekend and we LOVED it. This tour is great because you get to go to the smaller, family-run wine tours in a much smaller group of people. We got to know everyone in our group and had a fantastic time with each other. We got to visit 4 different wineries, as well as a stopover at the d-Arenberg Cube and a pub for lunch. Tom was so easy to get along with and knew a lot about the area. Would 100% recommend this tour!
Paul Flett: A great day for myself and the wife. Matt is very knowledgeable and a great host
George Wake-Walker: Brilliantly organised couple of days in McLaren Vale and Barossa. Matthew and Tom took us around an eclectic mix of the wineries the regions have to offer and they didn’t disappoint.

Liz P: We had a great time as part of Brian's group yesterday. We were so glad we had booked the tour. Brian is both funny and knowledgeable. We got to learn about Adelaide's history and detoured to places we wouldn't have ordinarily seen eg whispering wall and the lookout. Really liked Chateau Yaldara and absolutely loved Rosenvale. 16 bottles of wine are currently being shipped home... 10 are red and prior to the tour we kept saying 'we don't drink red!'.... turns out we do! 😅
Stacia Naomi Tholar: We had a great time on Brian’s bus! He was funny and informative. The fun mix of people in our group definitely made the experience more enjoyable. And we got some great deals on some of our favourite wines!I forgot my cap on the bus. When I called the next day to check, they were more than happy to ship it to Brisbane for me.5 star service ⭐️
Greg Hodson: Today was a day I will never forget our tour started with a trip around Adelaide. We then set off to Lofty Mountain lookout and then onto the German town of Hardorf. We thought this was a great little town and we had a massive German lunch at the German Arms Hotel.we finally had our stay and full tummies and head out to our first winery being Haslgrove wines and our host Millie was exceptional. We then headed to Chapel Hill winery and I must say this was the highlight of the two wineries. Once we were finished here we started to finally head back form our 9 hour day trip via Glenelg for a drive along the water front. We saw some beautiful scenery along the beach front and fell in love with this place. Finally we got moving again and after getting back to the city and dropped off to our hotel or nearby we could kick our shoes off at our hotel to relax. To the team at Taste the Barossa thank you and a special thanks to our tour guide Jason you were amazing and gave us and our other guests a great day.I would definitely recommend this company to go out and explore Adelaide and yes it was only two wineries but the rest of the tour was just brilliant and a lot of driving.
Queva Fitzgerald: Russel - love him, lots of info about region and wine yards , we were keen for Craic and he the venues delivered , informative ane fabulous
Vicki Mason: We had the most wonderful day with JR our guide, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the wineries. And there were some funny personal stories as well. We all loved everything about our tour and JR. Would recommend his tour group. Best day was had by all. THANKS J R
Christine Longworth: , Whispering Wall, Maggie Beer and Barossa Chocolate.Russell delivered great commentary, is funny and entertaining. What an Ambassador for your biz and the Barossa region.T H A N K Y O U !!
Mitch Jeffrey: We were a party of 4 going on a wine tour around the Barossa. We had James as our tour guide and he was the best! He was such a delight, kept us all entertained and laughing while giving us interesting insights into wine making, Adelaide’s and the Barossa's history! Couldn’t recommend enough and count your lucky stars if you get James!
Geoff Mallows: What a magnificent day organised by a company that is top rate from the booking process when you call .... Thank you Chris for making the initial contact experience so pleasant but also informative about the day tour and then asking about any special food requirements without me having to raise the matter ,To our driver Baden , I can't thank you enough for your commentary, information on the places of interest you took us and your sense of humour.Going to 3 wineries broken up by a few local attractions is a wonderful balance that Tast the Barossa have incorporated into their wine tours rather than the usual 4 wineries and thats all.A special mention to Rosenvale wines especially Megan who was so informative and the wine produced for tasting was quality and may I say some of the best reds I have consumed. Overall a great tour to go on ..... Definitely
Micaela McLaughlin: I recently had the pleasure of bringing a group on the Taste the Barossa day trip which included a loop of the city and wine tasting in the hills. The highlight of the trip was our tour guide Craig who was so passionate about Adelaide and everything it had to offer. So much so that a few of my group are actually planning to relocate to Adelaide once they have finished their travels! We were so lucky to be able to see Koalas and Kangaroos in their natural habitat and get to do wine tasting before finishing the day watching the sunset at the beach. The organisation and professionalism of Taste the Barossa was incredible and I can't recommend them enough!
John McCarney: We had a wonderful time on the tour. Jason was very informative, friendly and passionate about the Barossa Valley and South Australia as a whole. We learned a lot about the region and the wineries. The trip to the dam was amazing especially the acoustics. Our trips to the wineries were very enjoyable and we especially enjoyed the friendly, welcoming and energetic talk by the manager of the Rosenvale Winery. We got to taste so many wines which made it difficult to choose what to buy. We purchased a fair amount and it was great to have it delivered free of charge. We are currently enjoying these wines and look forward to more in the future. Our only criticism is the gourmet lunch was not that great nor gourmet, basically cold meats and crackers and limiting to anyone with allergies.
Lynise O'Dowd: Congratulations Taste the Barossa. Excellent tour & lovely group but huge thank you to JR. You made the tour, knowledgeable, making everyone feel welcome. Thank you from west coast Eagles fan club from WA, Lynise & Ross O'Dowd & Murray Jackson
Christine Churchill: FANTASTIC!! What an amazing day,.James our driver was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and a great personality. The only wine tasting I’ve been to where you see the vines close up and take away a fantastic learning experience. There was no pressure to buy, but the wines tasted so good you couldn’t help but buy some.Thank you team, lots of fun memories 😍🍾🍷
ray Bauskis: A fantastic experience visiting the Barossa wineries. Our tour guide James, was outstanding. The only way to acknowledge our experience is to book with this company and enjoy the journey.
Vanessa Washaya: . The wineries chosen were exceptional, scenery was stunning and the wines were delicious. Thanks for making our first time in Barossa unforgettable!
Lloyd Hsieh: We had a fantastic experience on the wine tour! The pacing was perfect; we never felt rushed or like we were waiting around. Baden did such an amazing job as our guide and driver. He was incredibly informative, and friendly, and even offered to take pictures for us. The flexibility with the drop-off location was also greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend this tour.
Jarryd Formosa: Incredible day out! As a non-wine drinker, I can't believe how much I liked the various wines - and there were a lot! Special shout out to our guide and driver Baden, he was a legend and made the day loads of fun.
Sharon Johnson-Wood: What a fantastic trip! James, our driver and guide, was great. Fun personality, informative and a safe driver. Happy to take pics for us. He really contributed to making it an enjoyable day. Whispering wall was unbelievable and well worth doing. The vineyards/wineries and lunch were all good, although we particularly liked the last vineyard we visited. Sampled around 22 wines throughout the trip 🍷 Thoroughly recommend!
Leah G: This tour was the highlight of our trip! Highlighting the best of the Barossa valley with wine, food and photo stops, this was a full day out! Brian our guide was one in a million, he knew his stuff and presented it in a way that kept us entertained the whole day. Every stop we made along the way was better than the last!Only thing missing from this tour was a stop at the chocolate factory 😉.
Oisín Mac Lochlainn: I cannot rate the customer service from Taste the Barossa highly enough! Chris and Nikki from the team were amazing and I fully recommend this business.
Pawan Jupiter: I did the tour with my wife. We had a great time, met some great people on the tour, had some great wine, got some great deals. My wife had left her favourite cap on the bus, and they were kind enough to ship it to her, along with a stubbie holder!5-star service guys, but just know the added gift is a positive reinforcement 😂

Ruth Carpenter: We did a tour with Premium Wine Tours, hosted by JR, yesterday. The whole experience was fantastic. Luxury vehicle, knowledgeable, friendly and professional host, and wineries we would not have found on our own. The wines were delicious, and the people doing the tasting very informative, helpful and friendly. We plan to visit South Australia again, and will definitely book another tour with Scott.
Adelaide Heel Pain Clinic: After a great first wine tour, my friends and myself have used Premium Wine Tours multiple times. It has always been a fantastic day. Highly recommended!
Jason North: Scott is a great tour guide and makes sure your day is fantastic. He has a lot of knowledge to share about the wineries you know and the ones you don’t. Trust his suggestions for both wine and food. Very comfortable and spacious car too.Very highly recommend him.
Briony Hoare: Professional and knowledgeable.
Wayne Burgoyne: My wife and I booked a private tour of the Adelaide Hills region for our wedding anniversary. Scott is an excellent and knowledge host. He prepared an itinerary which suited us perfectly and was very flexible in the choice of wineries.Scott manages the delicate balancing act of being present when needed while never being intrusive. It also helps that he’s a terrific bloke.
Jessica Susanto: , with a quick lunch stop at the bakery. Highly recommend for those who want a more exclusive experience, at your own pace. Scott is also very knowledgeable with wine and this just made our experience even more fun.
Brett G: What an outstanding tour by the ultimate professional host. If you have a day a few hours, it does not matter, take this tour it is amazing. Scott is super friendly and has a few great stories from his days as a player /coach in basketball to match his wine knowledge. You will have a great time.Positive Punctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value Services Private tours …
Zoë Little: Scott was incredible! So knowledgeable and considerate. We truly had the best time. Our experience couldn't be more special or comfortable. He has great relationships and connections with the winemakers and staff, and that alone allows him to provide you the best possible tours and provide you with exclusive opportunities that are to die for! On top of that, the car is spacious and luxurious, his driving makes you feel safe and relaxed and of the course, every location he recommended was really fantastic. Simple things like giving us cold water and little books about where we are going each day, were also greatly appreciated. He's insightful and you know he cares. I will absolutely be staying in touch with Scott and recommending him to everyone I know. We will also be back without a doubt! Scott is an absolute legend. Seriously, thank you Scott!
Caitlin Kennedy: and keep it safe. Scott has great relationships with winemakers in the region and we were therefore able to do tastings of more exclusive wines. We particular enjoyed the reclining chairs in the car for a nap on the way back home!
Shana Inge: Scott was an incredible tour guide who took us to the best wineries with amazing experiences highly recommend and will use again!Positive Punctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value Services Private tours …
Kiran Rao: We travelled to Adelaide for one day. Scott tailored a great half day tour for the two of us which we enjoyed tremendously! He picked us up from the airport in the afternoon and brought us to the McClaren Vale Vineyards since we did not have much time. We highly recommend Scott if you plan to visit Adelaide vineyards..
Adam Wengert: and he was great about bringing us back to sort it out. We spent the day in Barossa Valley but Scott knows the vast majority of the SA wine regions - highly recommend for a private tour!
Mike Mongey: A group of four of us were over from the west for the weekend and Scott took us up to the Adelaide hills for a tour of some excellent wineries and lunch up at Lanes. Scott was very knowledgable and helpful and chose some great locations for us. We had a great day, highly recommended.
Aaron Jolliffe: We are repeat customers and for good reason. This trip Scott met us at the airport and took us out to some amazing spots in the Mclaren Vale. We had a fantastic day with Scott and got to spend some one on one time with some wonderful wine makers. The day was topped off with a beautiful lunch. Thanks Scott for organising a great day and for the banter talking all things wine, basketball and life.
julie hocking: We had a fabulous day with Scott - the entire experience was flawless! Thanks again for showing us around...
George Bluck: What a great day! First wedding anniversary and Scott nailed the brief and added so much more!! Legend

Czt: I love the wine, it's a great experience. The entrance is free. If you want a tour, you must arrive at 11am with a guide and you must pay. You can tour it alone and sit in the restaurant where you can hear and taste all the wines you want, depending on what you like and the price of each glass.
Karl Perigo: Our lunch was absolutely delicious!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …
Rosie: You can come here from inside Botanic garden. They have a lot of wines to test with very modern system. They give you a card, insert the card to the machine, choose the wine and the amount you want to test, press the button and the wine comes out.The prices are from 3.7 dollars to 8 dollars for 25 ml of wine.I like the experience.
Grace G: Lovely spot for a wine flight and build-your-own platter, right by the botanic gardens
Frank Bruno: The self guided tour is somehow like ok that's it? Whas the matter? But the tasting experience with the wine on offer is fabulous. You can choose from various tasting scenarios.1. You choose from the so called flights, three of selected white wines, three of selected red wine es, three of selected sparkling g wines, three of selected sweet wines and three of selected top wines.
Ji-hoon Chung: I did not taste or experience it separately, but only toured the exhibition space once, so my evaluation is a bit ambiguous. The exhibition space is smaller than expected, but the exhibits are well organized.Tasting and dining are also available in the space on the first floor, so it would be a good idea to go there if it is inconvenient to go far from the city. It's a long enough distance to walk along the botanical garden.
Nathan Hong: Great selections of wine to tryWait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …
Aji Joseph George: Very good experience
寺島栄次郎: The contents of the exhibition were simple. There is a fee, but you can sample quite a few different types.Admission was free.
Laura Liu: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No
Wong Kok Soon: Nicely arranged and design despite relatively small area. There is in-door and out-door seating for your wine enjoyment inside botanic garden
Monike San: The National Wine Centre in Australia offers a mixed experience. The food, while tasting good, is rather ordinary. For the kids, we ordered fish and chips and fried chicken, and for the adults, chicken burgers. Unfortunately, everything was fried. However, the wine tasting is top-notch. Trying the flight of both red and white wines is a must. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir stood out, but all the selections were delicious. The wine exhibition, though informative, is small and could benefit from expansion to provide more insights into winemaking. Overall, the National Wine Centre shines in its wine offerings but could improve on its food and exhibition space.
B Thomas: Amazing food and wine! Loved the card system to test all the wines we wanted at our own pace!!Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …
Ruud Maasdam: +The wine tasting system is greatWine selection is okAwesome building-The ‘museum’ needs a full rethink, old, too little ‘interaction’The staff at the tasting area need a ‘re-think’ as well, no energy no warmthMore boutique wines needed in tasting area

Ian Williams: Ian was super attentive to what we wanted when planning the wine tour. The tour was excellent, his knowledge of the area and wine made it a fantastic day. Thanks from us both Ian and Tracy
Tracy Williams: This wine tour was tailored to our requests. Luxury transport and wonderful venues in including an amazing lunch at the Salopian Inn. Ian was very knowledgeable and a great host. Highly recommend.
Stewart Maiden: I could not rate this experience highly enough. Ian is approachable, knowledgeable, and thoroughly professional. He has a good network of contacts throughout McLaren Vale and the personal attention that we got made our day really special. He came recommended by another tour operator and I can see why others trust him with their own reputations.
Sarah Minassian: Ian was such a pleasure to deal with and we had such a great time. His knowledge of the area was exceptional. Would definitely recommend!
Lilian Moore: Had a wonderful day in McLarenvale with Ian. Our wine tour was personalised and was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed listening to the history, wine tasting, gin tasting and a delectable lunch. Truly a highlight of our trip to Adelaide. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Leo Barreto: Left the itinerary to Ian and he did not disappoint. Luxury car ride, great lunch and topped off with 4 wine wineries. First time in Mclaren vale so didn’t know what to expect. Ian’s relationship with the wineries and restaurants is apparent which made us feel welcome from the get go. Would recommend Ian’s tours to anyone thinking about visiting the McLaren vale area. Will definitely be back. Thanks again Ian!
Courtney Coghill: I organised a surprise weekend in McLaren Vale for my wife after a very hectic work year. I searched high and low for an amazing private winery tour and after much searching I was rapt to have found Ian of New World Wine Tour Co. From our very first interaction I was impressed by Ian's willingness to work in with other plans I had made and he created a truly amazing experience based on our wine preferences. Ian has brilliant knowledge of the region and the wine making process, which only adds to tastings along the way. Ian's warm and friendly nature also earned big points and my goodness those leather car seats are comfy. A huge thank you to Ian for our amazing day touring the area. We will be back again!
Matt Tropeano: We had a great day with Ian. Very knowledgeable and friendly. A far more enjoyable experience than your standard hop on hop off tour. If you want to learn more about wine I can’t recommend them enough.
Elise Scarlett: . We ended the day in fits of laughter thanks to Ian's wit & charm - he has a way with conversation on all topics, not just wine!I urge you to support this guy and his small business and South Australia's wineries!
Nicholas Wilson: The platonic ideal of what you imagine a wine tour should be: interesting, intimate, stress free, and most of all delicious!Ian was knowledgeable, relaxed, and friendly. His close relationships with the vineyards made for an experience that felt more like having friends talk about their cool new passion than being on a tour. If you are interested in natural wine, or learning more about wine and viticulture than just drinking the end product, then Ian and new world wine are fantastic. New world are about as far from slamming back six glasses of bland wine before shuffling along to the next generic tasting room as you can get. Thoroughly recommended.
Ian Lo: Great tour of Mclaren vale. We saw two very different small scale wineries and had a delicious lunch. Ian has great contacts within the local boutique wine industry and showed us a side of McLaren Vale that you wouldn't see unless you are an insider.Highly recommended!
Rebecca Barnes: What a great day! From pick up to drop off, Ian's service was amazing. His wine knowledge and knowledge the the region really added to the experience.Would highly recommend!
Ben Poprawski: Ian was a great host who fit us in at short notice for a full day McLaren Vale tour.He was knowledgeable and accommodating, ensuring we had a great time!Positive Responsiveness, Quality, Value …
Nat Rogers: I just learnt more about wine in one hour than I have in any cellar door or wine tour. Thank you so much! Such a great experience, very clear and easy to understand.Positive Responsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value …
Amy Hourigan: Had such an amazing experience on this Adelaide wine experience. Much more than just your average wine tour, Ian and his team offer an experience that is fun, informative and useful. Not only did we have an amazing time but we learned so much as well, which informed which wines we purchase in future.Ten out of ten!
Ross Goulding: to contact Ian and arrange a tour if you want a memorable and eclectic adventure in one of SA's iconic wine regions. Definitely will be back for another tour next time we visit!
Deborah Simmonds: Ian is very knowledgeable about wine and especially the McLaren Vale Region, and was very accommodating, working with us beforehand to find the perfect tour schedule for the day. The transport was beautiful and very spacious. We totally enjoyed ourselves and would recommend New World Wine Tours to anyone. Thanks Ian !!
Nicole Fishers: Ian was an absolute professional, from when I first contacted him through to the actual day itself. He worked with me to customise a tour to suit our needs, communicated in a timely fashion, was extremely knowledgeable, was on time and when we were not quite running to schedule for a few things he was extremely flexible on the day. I would absolutely recommend Ian.
Ashlie Olman: Ian was incredible to say the least. His thoughtful recommendations and guidance wasn’t just for our personalised tour on the day, he gladly shared his knowledge of Adelaide to make our whole trip fantastic. To top it off, Ian himself is just honestly a kind person. He also ensured everything on the day was vegan, I didn’t even need to think about it which was so so lovely. Great day with amazing wine, food and company - couldn’t recommend him more. Thanks again Ian!

Greg Hodson: Today we enjoyed a great day tour of the Penfolds McGill Estate Cellar Door. We were certainly spoilt. On arrival all the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We arrived early so we had coffee and cake whilst we waited for tour and tasting. Our tour guide finally arrived and I must say it was the best that I have ever experienced.we arrived back to start our wine 🍷 tasting and the experience was sensational. The choice of wine was excellent and my wife and I had pre booked a loverly lunch at Penfolds. We had a very nice first class luncheon with some beautiful selections of food with some very nice wine to go with each dish. We were certainly looked after as it was our 35 wedding anniversary and we cannot speak highly enough of the staff all the way from our arrival to our code and cake then our tour and then lunch. To all the staff including our tour guide and restaurant staff and tasting staff a very big thank you. My wife and I would definitely recommend this venue for a visit and we are sure you will not be disappointed. Klaus Christensen: Extremely enjoyable, our host Ivan was very knowledgeable and took the time to make our tour special. The tasting were great and I suggest you pay the extra and try the Grange.
Heath Williams: We arrived for a tasting prior to our restaurant booking, when the cellar door was all booked out for a release. Although very disappointed, we were soon cheered up by Lachie who offered to accommodate us outside with a bottle of wine overlooking the vineyard and watch the sun set prior to dinner.Still haven’t done a tasting however are very grateful for the hospitality that was shown and will continue to drink Penfolds…will be back for my Grange purchase some time in the future. Lachie made our experience one that will continue our appreciation of Penfolds wines and make our visit memorable.
Paul Hennig: This place is wine marketing at its highest level. The tours, the tastings even the interior design is next level.
Mark John: Came to Penfolds today with a group from Melbourne. Henry was absolutely fantastic, so much knowledge for a young man. All the staff and management created a great experience

We booked in advance and were a group of 3 in the tour out of approx 10 pax.Our guide Mark was knowledgeable from geology, history, wine production and wine tasting on all things Penfolds. He was extremely accommodating and personable offering a lot of insights particularly when rounding off the tour with a tasting.I highly recommend this tour as it offers abit of history & viewing of the stunning underground cellar in an intimate setting.Definitely a must see if you’re in the Adelaide city area.
Bent Bjune Midtskog: Had a good fun time at Penfolds Magill. The Ultimate Penfolds Experience id highly recommendable. A good introduction to the Penfolds history, and amazing wine tasting afterwards.

Vic Olbromski: During our recent visit to Shaw + Smith, we were thoroughly impressed by every aspect of the experience. From the moment we arrived at the stunning cellar door, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service. The ambiance of the cellar door itself is sophisticated yet welcoming, making it a delightful place to enjoy their exquisite wines.Every wine we sampled was of outstanding quality and truly showcased the meticulous craftsmanship that Shaw + Smith is known for. Each pour, from their crisp Sauvignon Blanc to their elegant Shiraz, was flawless and left us eager for the next taste. It is clear that Shaw + Smith's dedication to excellence in winemaking results in a range of wines that are not only enjoyable but memorable.I highly recommend Shaw + Smith to anyone looking to indulge in some of the best wines the Adelaide Hills has to offer.

Lucy Davies: Popped in, just to have a look around and was so impressed with the space and the lovely gentleman who served us. He was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It's so lovely feeling genuinely welcomed. Of course had to buy a bottle of the famous sav blanc. Delish!
Kyle Mendes: Shaw + Smith is a step up in the wine tasting experience. I would like to leave my very special thanks to Will from the Cellar Door which beautifully welcomed us, managed to get us a tasting time when the times where sold out when I explained Shaw + Smith is my wife's australian favourite wine and during the tasting immersed ourselves through the notes and aroma of high quality wines. Will also provided suggestions of places to visit which we followed and it was everything we needed while in Adelaide for the weekend. Great wines, beautiful space and friendly staff. That's how I would describe Shaw + Smith.
Narelle Naulls: We had an awesome experience with the private chef serving us lunch for 12 people. Megan & Will delivered impeccable service
