vcs5: The guys turned up promptly at 8.30am in spite of the threatening weather and after a quick look at the existing old solar system promptly set about removing the old and installing the new. They cleaned up after themselves and removed all the mess. By mid afternoon the new 6.6kw system was switched on and is working well, actually better than the old. Unfortunately the inverter is out of range of my wifi so the app isn't working but I was assured that would be rectified shortly. A job done well and very professionally.

Their design also featured a clever and cost effective PV panel configuration with black panels and racking that look great from the road. The salesperson was always pleasant to deal with and willing to provide additional information, and at no stage did he pressure me to make a quick decision. The installation team, all Generate Energy staff, were also very pleasant and did an extremely neat and tidy job managing to install a 40 PV panel system on time without breaking even one tile. I was particularly impressed with their willingness to talk with me as work progressed to ensure I was happy with the final installation. Commissioning went smoothly and the system is performing extremely well. Post-installation support from office staff has also been excellent. Im pretty sure the solar proposal was emailed within the first hour after our intial contact which was great. A google earth picture was also supplied with a picture of where the futre panels were going to be installed. I was wrapped with Venergy because they didnt want to send around a sales man to sit down and go through everything like most other companies do ,as working full time and having young kids this was a hassle for me . Everything was a quick email or a call. The installation was effort less 3 hard working aussie tradies turned up on a monday morning and only needed our wifi password and garage left open. When i returned from work it was done no mess no fuss. The next day the inspector was here to sign of and turn it on that easy. Would totally recommend the team at Venergy.

The guys who came to install the system were very professional and took the time to help us decide where to put the inverter and battery. We were indecisive as the preferred spot couldn't be done due to legal compliance, so it took a while to assess the options and the guys helped us measure things out and run through all the possible location options. We didn't feel rushed or like anything was too hard for them. After installation, I needed help to get access to the monitoring app and James assisted promptly and helped me get it sorted. Madan Mohan Nagpal: Paul from Solargain’s sales team spent almost 4 hours educating me on various aspects of solar, battery and hot water systems. We looked at various combinations before I made up my mind with Trina Panels and Huawei inverter. The signing process using ACT’s sustainable household scheme was easy. The installation team arrived on the day as planned and continued with installation even when it had rained a night before. They were a team of 7 people who were friendly and attentive. They were careful on the roof and made sure that everything is done correctly. They finished installation in 5 hours. The hot water Istore system was installed by a plumber who was nee to Istore. He did the installation well but did not explain the system features. Solargain’s hot water team helped with the understanding of operation of Istore. Everything is working well at this stage and when I had a hiccup with the system one day, Solargain service team helped me quickly over the phone to sort it. I also got signed up for free with Qantas and received points for the installation. Thank you Solargain team for everything

The thing that really sets Goliath apart is that they take responsibility and ownership of the install. When there was an issue with the power company, they handled everything painlessly and seamlessly. Their aftersales service has also been exceptional.We have been so happy with the job they did on the panels and inverter that when it was time to install a battery, they were the only choice. We ended up with a SolarEdge battery and the install was as smooth and professional as the first job.My thanks to Ben, whom took the time to explain the process, benefits, pricing and following up after to see if everything was ok to Thaelen whom did the site inspection and made suggested installation sites to Sam and Louis who took the time to install things professionally and explain the configurations and optimal settings. They even left the installation site cleaner than when they arrived.If you're looking for a solar system and/or, you should definitely speak to the guys at Goliath.

Michael Sharp: Spent a number of weeks shopping around for quotes for a number of different places. I told all the businesses that I had full sun on my roof all year round, but got a call from Goliath a few hours later saying they had looked at my roof and found mid winter there was shade on one end. It was the extra mile, customer service and good pricing that led me to choose them. Have had the system installed for 12 months now and really happy with it. I contacted them again recently and they made recommendations around power companies based on current feed in tariffs and prices. They also didn't try to upsell me extra when not needed. Really happy with them and would 100% recommend.

lance nesbit: We had a system installed about three years ago, fantastic sales and install experience. The inverter came with monitoring software. Approximately 3 months ago this software stopped working. I tried re connecting it myself with no luck. The system message suggested i contact the installer. I though that would be pushing the relationship as it had been so long since the install. Eventually out of frustration i made the call. It was like they did the install last week, and someone would drop by in the next few days and reset the connection for the inverter. I even got a courtesy call once they had confirmed a date. All of this was carried out in the nicest possible way over the phone. Subsequent to this i organised a contact from sales to look at expanding our system. In this process they suggested I didnt spend money with them to expand my system as the financial benefit to me at this stage would be marginal. Amazing and refreshing to to see the customers interest put above a sales target when there is absolutley no finanacial benefit to them for doing so. A standout company that obviously has an ethos that is reflected in their integrity.

After we decided we were ready for solar we reached out to many companies for quotes, off the bat and during the whole quotes process Goliath were front runners. They were the ones that put in the hard yards in explaining the whole process, what system would suit us better and what brands to look for and what to avoid. They never once assumed it would sell itself or take anything for granted. They know their stuff and in the end we only wanted a company that showed they could give the best experience, provided amazing service, and a great product.
