Underwater Sports Diving Centre: what do users think?

Cheryl Williams: I recently went on my first dive trip with the Underwater Sports Diving Centre and - despite the weather conditions not being ideal - it was definitely an experience I would like to repeat. In fact, the way the dive team dealt with the less-than-ideal conditions was one of the things that impressed me the most. Their good humour and pragmatism in the face of a situation that could have turned the weekend into a flop meant the whole group had a great trip, even when we weren’t actually diving. On the technical side, when we did eventually get to dive, the team was professional, safety conscious and helpful.Although we had only just met, they made me feel welcome and part of the group, both when we were diving and when we were not. If I didn’t live so far away I would definitely dive with the Underwater Sports Dive Centre more regularly as it was like diving with friends.

BB Ocean Adventures: Regs were serviced and better than new ! So very happy ! Turnaround times and communication was fabulous! Thanks Team for doing a stella job !

Todd O'Brien: Highly advised for Adventurous People đŸ’Ș😎.Terrific staff and personnel company wide đŸ€˜.Professional amd friendly, with a depth of experience to match their range of gear .However, best suggestion is to take one of their International accredited PADI Dive Courses.Course are great fun, you get to meet new interesting people looking to explore. The technical knowledge and skills set you learn during the courses are equally challenging and rewarding.Highlight was a Night Dive with the Bioluminescent Plankton, closest I can imagine to outer space đŸ˜…đŸ€©.Grab an adventurous buddy and get diving

martha ottaway: I just completed my underwater sports dive course. Great staff, very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. Great experience and highly recommended.

Marcus Ottaway: Just completed my open water dive qualification and i had a great time, Wayne is an awesome instructor

Melody Joy Kuban: The best diving shop in Adelaide. Whether you’re taking a course, going on a diving trip, or renting gear, these guys make sure you’re in safe hands. I just finished my open water diving course and couldn’t recommend it enough! You’ll be amazed at what you can achieve, all the while being supported and encouraged by the USDC team the whole way through. Thanks Dave, Jolie, Wayne & Wayne, Nicole and Karen. Looking forward to more dives with you!!

Joshua Kinsman: Amazing dive team here lead by Dave and Jolie. Thanks so much Wayne for making our dives so much fun.

Carla Moser: . All together we had the best time learning lots of new skills & discovering the stunning world underneath the water. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone that is interested in learning to dive or just diving in general!

Steve Parker: Went in to buy our first ever lot of snorkelling gear and received great service. Very happy with our purchases and the guidance we received. Thank you!

Ester Calan: very helpful thank you

Koren Ganas: Genuinely can’t say enough good things about the folks at this shop. After having an average experience somewhere else, underwater sports was recommended to me. They helped me finish my training and are highly professional, and incredibly well organized! My partner and I recently attended one of their dive trips to see the cuddlefish and had such a wonderful experience again with a very well organized and professional operation. hope to dive with them again soon!

Phil Garner: My wife and I had a trip planned aboard the M/V Rodney Fox out of Port Lincoln. We were staying in Adelaide for a week first and hoped to make a shore dive at the Rapid Bay Jetty to photograph Leafy Sea Dragons. After watching videos of dives there, my wife wanted to dive from a boat instead. I found Underwater Sports Diving Centre and contacted Jolie. She was extremely helpful with arrangements for tanks and weights as well as directions. We boarded the boat and set up without a rush as if we were diving at home on our own boat. Dave made sure everyone had plenty of room for the short ride to Rapid Bay.Our guide, Wayne found three Leafies within the first five minutes. For our next dive, Wayne took us to the giant cuttlefish and the other resident critters at the Aquarium. We were able to photograph everything we hoped for on this trip in just two dives! We had an amazing day with wonderful people. It was fun, relaxing, and likely the highlight of our trip. We plan to contact Jolie and Dave the next time we are in South Australia.

Jarryd Trenowden: The team here at Underwater sports run an excellent service including hire, purchasing support and advice, and training. Completed my open water with them and they were a wealth of knowledge and made the training enjoyable and educational. I felt like I came away excited to dive more but equipped with all the skills needed to be safe and enjoy it! A must use for anyone looking to buy gear, get training or even book a trip!

Cameron Trenowden: Did our open water course through Underwater Sports and it was phenomenal. The staff were amazing and the locations they took us were spectacular. Great community of people and a very friendly environment to learn in. Would 100% recommend if you are wanting to do your open water course and have a blast whilst completing it!

Steven Crowe: , lovely dive sites and top notch equipment. If I lived in Adelaide or anywhere near it I would do all my dive training with them. And very reasonably priced.

Ruth Milburn: Great shop and brilliant bunch of people
always great advice and gentle encouragement to learn more
Jolie and Dave, you have made scuba diving ‘the best thing since sliced bread’ 😃

Zandra Ramsden (Zandra.louise): Dave and Jolie maintain excellence within the dive community in South Australia. They have your best interest when looking to start diving and purchasing dive gear. Extremely knowledgeable and approachable. I don’t trust anyone else with advice for anything dive related. I was able to complete my Open Water Course with 1:1 lessons with Instructor Rick which was extremely valuable. Boat dives with UWS are also extremely valued and don’t leave you feeling like “just another business number” unlike other dive charters in SA. Can’t recommend the supportive team at UWS and their members enough.

Diving Adelaide: what do users think?

Riley Morrissey: I completed my scuba diving training with Alex Howell at diving Adelaide, and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the experience.Alex was not just an incredibly good teacher, but an incredibly fun person to train with. The entire time Alex made the experience as fun as possible, capturing the joy of diving with his sharp American humour.I would not have been able to complete my training due to travelling limitations, so to help me as best he could Alex drove me from Diving Adelaide to our dive site, and back. Unlike a silent Uber ride, the driving with Alex was some of the funniest parts of my training.I can not stress enough how satisfied I am with this experience, if I had to do it all again, i wouldn't change a thing. Thank you so much Alex and Diving Adelaide.Sincerely- Riley

sarah wooster: I spent the weekend completing the open water scuba diving course. What an experience! Alex Howell was a fantastic instructor, very calm, patient and helped me face my fears. Great weekend!

Lindsey Simpson: Just finished the weekend Open Water course with Diving Adelaide! Alex Howell was a great instructor-- enthusiastic, patient, and knowledgable. Already trying to convince everyone I know to go take a course!

Kelsey ireland: We did the open water dive course with Diving Adelaide and had a blast. Cora was our instructor and she was excellent. We learnt all the skills we needed and also had a really amazing experience. I recommend Diving Adelaide and especially Cora to anyone who wants to learn to dive!

Lexi Petersen: We had so much fun learning to dive with Cora! We did our open water and it was so fun, excellent information and great training.

Olly Vialls: I just finished scuba diving training with Alex Howell at Diving Adelaide, and it was honestly one of the greatest experiences of my life. Alex’s teaching style is spot-on—he tailors everything to fit your personal needs and takes the time to explain things in a way that makes you feel totally at ease. This was critical for me as prior to meeting Alex I found the whole concept daunting. His patience is incredible, and he shares tons of super relatable tips from his own vast diving experience. The whole process was smooth and super enjoyable. I'd highly recommend Diving Adelaide to anyone looking to achieve their licence or take a refresher.I honestly can't express how pumped I am to giant stride into my open water diving journey, thanks to Alex and the team at Diving Adelaide!Cheers,Olly VđŸ€™đŸ€™đŸ€™P.S. Steven, I'm still waiting on my Icecreams! ⌚🍩🍩

Adam Stewart: Did my dive refresher. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff with a lot of dive knowledge. It was good fun. Coming back in a month to do some guided dives.Would definitely recommend

Mal Somerville: Alex really knew his stuff, taught really well and gave me confidence. He encouraged me every step of the way and now I am PADI certified!

angus fotheringham: I just did my open water, advanced open water and rescue dive courses with Alex Howell and Emma Thwaites. They were both unreal instructors! They made the whole experience extremely fun but also very safe and informative. I can’t recommend them enough! Alex and Emma are truely the Micheal Jordan and LeBron James of dive instructing!

Matthew Drage: Emma was an awesome instructor! Got my PADI open water certification with no problems.

Susan Ray: My husband and I rented wetsuits and tanks here so that we could drive to Whyalla and dive with the Cuttlefish. Picking up and returning the gear was so easy. Rosie helped us pick out the right sizes and gave us lots of good tips! We really appreciated her help and cheerfulness.

Oli U: would require an essay. Emma was my instructor for my Open Water certification. She was amazing beyond belief. Emma was patient, conscientious and has an awesome positive attitude. After my Open Water certification I feel like a Pro already. Will definitely be going back to Emma for further advanced certifications.

Stiaan Jordaan: , but I have experienced most aspects of Diving Adelaide and all are exceptional. Our OW kicked off with Emma and Tony! Both Great instructors, ensuring we were comfortable in the water and teaching us the skills with patience! Emma took the lead explaining everything in great detail. After the course Emma assisted us in the shop to get some starter gear. She has a ton of experience and was able to answer our questions and find us gear that’s perfect needsWe have rented gear a few times from DA and every time everything went smooth with Jordan greeting us in the morning and willing to help when we return later on the Saturday for some air refills. When the team at DA find out where we plan to dive they always have tips on the area and what we should be looking for. They have great experience with the diving sites in South Australia, and not hesitant to share it with new diversKeep it up Diving Adelaide

Tessa Shaw: This is any diver’s go-to dive shop in South Australia! Ron and his team are knowledgeable, friendly and always happy to help and chat about anything diving-related! They know all the best places to visit based on prevailing conditions, so you’ll always be sure of enjoying your dive! We’ve hired from them for multi-day and single trips, travelling around SA to dive with cuttlefish in Whyalla and leafies in Rapid Bay. They always have our gear ready to go when we arrive, and drop-offs are also easy and fuss-free! Can’t recommend Diving Adelaide enough!

Diego Rea (The World by Diego): Great experience overall!! Would definitely be my go to dive shop next time I'm in SA! Thanks team!

Antonio CantĂł CastellĂł: Dani, a friend, recommended this place. This place is so helpful and friendly, 100% recommended

Alejandro Riesco: Amazing team and experience!

Steve Van Der Henst: From the first email response I knew that they would be the best option, It was very easy to decide to do the course with them, from the moment I entered the store all the staff was very friendly. I have had the opportunity to learn from very good instructors, who definitely love what they do.If you want to become a Professional Diver this is THE PLACE.Thanks

Emily Daniels: The crew at Diving Adelaide forever go above and beyond !!!! So lucky to live close by, so all my diving needs are ☑☑☑☑☑

Carrie Goh: Did the Guided Leafy Sea Dragon tour this week with guide and spotter Alex. Great conditions, beautiful sunny weather and saw 7 leafies! Alex is great spotter who also spotted 3 cuttlefish, a tiny octopus curled up in a bottle and a few nudibranch. Great dive, highly recommended. Will return again once my brain forgets how cold it was

NB SCUBA: what do users think?

Marcus Liley: Nathan managed to fit me in on Easter Sunday at short notice. Email communication was very prompt and informative. Michael was my one on one guide for the day. He picked me up at my accommodation, supplied all tanks and gear then drove down to Rapid Bay. We enjoyed two 90 minute dives, seeing three different leafy sea dragons on each. As I was the only diver Michael allowed me to set the pace and was happy to wait whilst I took heaps of photos. Nice chat on the way home. Highly recommend NB Scuba 😃

Angelo Barone: , he had a lot of patience to help me and, underwater he always keeps an eye on you, while he is looking for the leafy seadragon. And he is very good at finding them

Chalisa Morrison: Great team and amazing diving with the Leafy Seadragons; thanks Nathan I'll be back!

Horace Bryant: Great dive shop with excellent staff and professional scuba divers who ensure a safe and fun dive experience. I enjoyed Rapid Bay dive site.Michael gave a good tour of the area, showing me and the other dive team members leafy sea dragons, jellyfish, starfish, cuttlefish and many other local sea creatures.NB Scuba also offers pick up service from hotel, making it easier for customers who are new to the area.If you are visiting Adelaide Australia, I highly recommend NB Scuba for arranging Scuba diving tours and seeing local marine life in Adelaide and other areas in the region.

FuFluns: and almost knew where every creature hangs out. I'll be back again.I can see the mite on the leafy sea dragon now đŸ€ŁSafe diving,Jeremy

Lizanne Kennedy: Fantastic dive centre with good quality equipment and a very friendly patient dive guide 'Michael' who had an amazing ability to spot marine life. On last dive he found 6 leafy sea dragons and a tassled anglerfish. The best feature of the centre is their approach to dive time which is based on your air consumption rather than the 45 minute limit of other centres. Can't rate them highly enough. Pick up service was also provided for me at no extra cost!

Jaimie Yamada: which we definitely wouldn’t have been able to find on our own. Nathan made the booking process super easy and was very kind in organising transport for us too. Would highly recommend :

Zoe: Had such a wonderful experience with NB scuba. Was hopeful to see the leafy seadragons for the first time and though the water clarity wasn’t great we found 3 leafies. Super friendly dive team could talk to them for hours, great quality dive gear I even ended upgrading my own mask after using their hire one I liked it more then my own! Thank you again for making it such a memorable experience 🐠🐉

Laura Jaehn: we had 250bar in the tanks

Younes Ahmed: nice small dive center with really nice staff.Michael made sure that we’ll see some leafys. Was a really chilled day with nice talks and dives.

Jay Jeffery: Had a great dive with our Guide. We saw 4 leafy sea dragons. If we'd tried without a guide we almost certainly wouldn't have found any, so feeling good about going guided over just renting the gear. The equipment was in great condition, and everything went well. We went at a time when the season is usually over, but NB Scuba worked it out. Very good service and highly recommend.

mark renshaw: Thanks to Nathan and Michael for an amazing dive today, Saw three Leafy Sea Dragons. Really great team to do a dive with!!!

Kate G: Terrific communication. Local knowledge, excellent divemaster. I really enjoyed my dives on the Rapid Bay jetty and spotting the Leafy Sea Dragons was a highlight of my trip. Thanks guys!

Lisbeth: , also Nathan picked us up at the train station, and Michael

Dylan Sucevic: We had an awesome two dives with Michael who was an excellent dive master and helped us spot 4 leafy sea dragons.Equipment was top notch and the pricing was fair for the two dives we did. Nathan was accommodating with our needs as we were in Victor Harbor and met in the middle to dive at The Rapid Bay Jetty. Highly recommended!

Quentin Le Graverand: . Michael was an excellent guide and he took gorgeous pictures of us next to the leafy

Julie Ravs: Well organised, super friendly, quality hire gear and LEAFY SEA DRAGOnS.

gaion tompkins: We were very happy with NBScuba! Nathan did a great job fitting our gear and had good, recent or even new gear for us to use. Michael took us diving for the day and was so helpful, encouraging, accommodating and kind. This was especially important as we had a nervous teenager with us. We’re happy to recommend NB scuba and will be back!

Katherine Anderson: Thank you NB scuba for a great couple of dives to see the leafy sea dragon. Unfortunately, we didn't spot any but the dive guide, Michael, was great and sure tried his hardest to find them at Rapid Bay jetty. We still had awesome dives seeing crabs and giant cuttle fish. Very thorough and highly recommended!
