Leigh Kinniburgh: Visited recently whilst on a family holiday from Victoria and we all left super impressed. We couldn’t speak highly enough of all the food whether it was entrees or the mains we each had and were absolutely rapt with the customer service provided on the day and the cocktails we’re definitely a big hit. Thanks again to Trent and Milly for a great experience. If ever in the region again we will definitely be back to Inglewood Inn. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Melanie: , and of course sour dough to mop up the deliciousness left in the bowl. Then onto the steak and parmesan crust chicken sando for mains. Love the SA vibes throughout food and drinks menu - we left feeling very full and happy. Thanks Inglewood fam!!

Deborah Frew: We had an amazing lunch, the mullaway fish and coconut Dahl was one of the best dishes I’ve tasted and I’m hard to please when it comes to taste, presentation and price. This was definitely worth it. The crispy potatoes which we added as a side are a dish on its own and knowing now how good they are I’d just order them with a pint 🍺. The little colouring pack for the child was an amazing addition and the servers were so attentive but not in your face. I don’t eat lamb nor chicken but I do now after tasting the lamb skewers and chicken tenders. The flavours are amazing. Well done chef 🧑‍🍳 great atmosphere all staff lovely and it’s definitely our go to. The views are pretty good too. 👏🏻

Jan Menzies: Most enjoyable, the view is most relaxing. The service was excellent and the meal was most enjoyable. I would recommend on a cool day the fire gives a nice ambiance.

Elsie Sutton: Had a lovely meal, beautiful atmosphere and lovely service, good recommendations regarding the food and wine. We had the lamb with beetroot risotto and goat’s curd, broccolini and crispy roasted potatoes. A great selection of wines, gin, etc. The only area of improvement if I was to be picky, was the staff could be a little more attentive, maybe just a little more training needed, but nothing major, they were very friendly and accommodating overall. Everything was very enjoyable. Will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: A variety of vegetarian options, very nice.Dietary restrictions: Cater for gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian. Really great options. The gluten free bread starter is really nice too.Parking: Plenty of parking.

Rodger van den Berg: A fresh grey day took us in search of a late breakfast and a walk. We found Utopia and made a brilliant and tasty choice of having a brunch platter. There was a little something for everyone. From pancakes to muesli to eggs Benedict and several tasty treats in between. Delicious 😋. The Hollandaise sauce was excellent.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu

Saurabh Aggarwal: FOOD 5*SERVICE 5*ATMOSPHERE 5*What a Gem!!Mind blowing service and that made our meal more delicious. All day breakfast is all you need for Sunday Brunch and selection of platters and high tea are too tempting 😍

Lezane Esterhuysen: Besides the miserable weather outside, the vibe inside was really great. It didn't took long for the food to arrive but in saying that the food was delicious and made the experience so worth the while.I can recommend the "Cake Station" - this is already the reason why will be going back.Enjoyable experience!

Liisa Grace Baun: Have been here many times over the years and we are always happy with the quality of food and service. Staff are friendly. Lovely views whether sitting outside or inside. It’s a nice way to reward yourself with lunch or treat after a hike or ride up the hill. Plenty of parking available at a flat rate of $4.There’s often koalas 🐨 and kangaroos to be seen nearby.

Deliah Onorato: Great spot to enjoy a meal. Visited with friends. Unfortunately, it was raining when we were there, so the views were restricted.Parking: As it is part of the park, there are a lot of optionsWheelchair accessibility: Easy access to all amenities if mobility impaired

Ten Ton: The chefs here are a combination of both artists and scientists. This is not food served here, but beautiful and perfectly balanced taste stimulants whose flavours both confound and delight in their complexity. The best of which come before the maron, with the exception of the emu which is prepared in a way that patriotically rival the world’s best meats. Thanks to the excellent service, this is an exceptionally sophisticated experience and should be sampled by anyone who has the means. This experience would be best in the summer where twilight would allow visualisation of the garden surrounds and the preference for more sophisticated garden lighting, especially in the winter, is this restaurant’s only criticism. Bravo to the entire team.

Tim Quinney: A very unique experience. As the name suggests Botanics is definitely the theme of this restaurant and it's menu. Which personally I found to be at times challenging.Over the course of a few hours which never felt rushed, a very wide range of dishes were fed to us. There were none that were too difficult to palette but some that were a bit more floral than I perhaps was used to.The larger protein portions were all very tasty but I would say on the smaller end of fine dining tasting experiences.Overall I walked out feeling a little confused. It was certainly interesting but maybe not what I would say is delicious. Well worth the experience however.

AP MD: ADDIT: I have come back to Restaurant Botanic since their new head chef has started and am blown away by this places evolutionEverything that they excelled in before they have somehow taken to the next level. The delicacy and intricacy of each course is only overcome by the passion and complexity of the flavours. Everything this place does - whether it's food, service or environment - they do it to it's maximum potentialRestaurant Botanic has done amazing things for the South Australian food industry and I see no element of them slowing down. This time next year I believe they'll be spoken about on a global scaleIncredible experience and beautiful evolution - a must try for everyoneAdelaide's new restaurant has definitely made its mark. I was beyond blown away by the quality of the food, the devotion of the staff to making every little detail perfect, and the uniqueness of their approach. The food is not only amazing, but the entire experience is a journey. I see big things for this restaurant in the future, they should be very proud of themselves

James Alexandre: If you wish to experience the best Australia has to offer, and what we are all about, you must bring yourself to this restaurant and participate in the momentous journey Chef Jamie and Webster put in front of you. Their culinary artistry will evoke senses unknown to you prior to this experience. Every dish is a testament to their passion and mastery, transforming each bite into an unforgettable memory.

Frankie Lam: Cutting edge technique and creativity in using Australian local produces. Have both looks and favours. Very enjoyable 4 hours, do not think any other restaurant produce anything that can match this.Downside is service at the beginning, seems the bar and kitchen do not commute well and make it feel bit rush.Anyway, this is last week run by Justin James, will see if the new chef can maintain and improve the reputation.

Donna Stevens: First class attention to service for the customer, great welcome and attention through out the night.Highlight was the attendence to the table was from the pattisiere chef, that constructed the desserts. So nice to see someone from the kitchen at this price point.

Robert Scarborough: Mushrooms fudge dust with mushroom powder topped caviar. What who thinks of these things. The brilliant chef that’s. Who. I so glad they did.* A light fluffy mushroom delight with sea taste of delicious caviar. Brilliant way to finish. This was a night to remember a night of some of the best food I’ve ever tasted.I didn’t get to taste some of Botanic’s & Justin’s dishes. Though I did last week at Tasting Australia. What I did taste was the brilliance of Daniel & Tony from Sixpenny. A brilliance I am glad to have seen and eaten. I might just go to Sydney to do it again.WHAT A SENSATIONAL NIGHT.So after I walk for 30 minutes to a favourite bar. Taste 1/2 glass red. Nope body is so full of food I can’t even drink. Go figure. But true

Bob Elliott: Restaurant botanic should be rated as AAAAA. It really is a once in a life time experience. The friendly greeting by Tom and Ruby. Removing our coats and umbrella. The detailed explanation of the experience we were to have was first class. Each dish was beautifully presented with local shrubs, leaves, rocks from the botanic gardens being used to high light wash dish.If Tom or Ruby were not giving a detailed explanation one of the many excellent chefs were out. There were 29 diners on the night and the whole experience took 4 hours.I am already saving the pennies to go again.Well done

J H (justher): . I really want to try that duck but couldnt..If I do come again, I’ll do lunch just to get some time to walk around the garden as well.

David Paul: Sound system was not the best yet I've seen Beats on Parade play at other gigs without sound issues. Maybe replace the cables as whenever the DJ spoke it was this inaudible high pitched shrill. Once the DJ stopped speaking it wasn't too bad despite the system cutting out on one speaker. Once it was stable, it was fine. Don't use an MC if the mics aren't working - trust me, I'm a sound engineer.

Scott Hawken: One of the nicest hotels in Adelaide with a great restaurant and bistro with excellent food and friendly staff.

Hannah Alison: Gabby was immediately welcoming, so polite and friendly to all of us, good humour too. She is good at what she does!Food was delicious and presented really nicely.Tables were set up nicely, and was comfortably warm even though it’s freezing outside. My daughter had had her first taste of chocolate and approved.. Vegetarian options: I had 2 vegetarian appetisers and both were delicious and decent portions. I noticed a few v/gf options on the menuKid-friendliness: I thank Gabby again for how nice she was to my daughter, immediately getting her a high chair and offering plastic cups without me even asking. The staff were polite, had the meals orders well organised and no one had to put their hand up when a meal came out. I had a baked barramundi salad - it was good, and I'd recommend my wife have it if we go back there. The shnitzels were normal size, which some of the guys were disappointed about, but maybe all these super-size schnitzel challenges have raised the bar on the minimum standard

Mrs B: and loved it, there was more than enough food despite the portions being quite small, as we expected. We tried some new foods we've not experienced and the cocktails were fabulous, the 2014 Pinot Noir was amazing. The spacing of generously sized tables was perfect for a quiet cozy dinner.

Eddie Uchenna: I recently dined at Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant and found the experience to be good, though not outstanding. The ambiance is certainly a highlight, with stunning views of the vineyard. The food was well-prepared, but some dishes fell short in terms of flavor. The wine pairings, however, were spot-on, elevating the overall meal. Service was attentive but could have been more personable. It’s a place that caters well to special occasions, but it didn’t quite leave a lasting impression on me.

Brenna Landis: The tasting menu was nothing short of extraordinary, with each delicious course presented beautifully. The chefs brilliantly showcased the best of South Australian produce, with innovative and comforting dishes. Every bite was amazing, and the Penfolds wines perfectly matched, enhancing the flavours of each dish. A special mention is the scallop and fennel course! The service was impeccable, with the staff friendly and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. Their passion for food and wine was evident in how they described each course, adding to our enjoyment of the evening. We felt truly cared for, and the relaxed yet refined atmosphere made it easy to enjoy each other’s company. It’s the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening with friends. Highly recommended!

Nicholas Van Der Sluys: I make a habit of dining at Magill Estate Restaurant whenever I am in Adelaide - it really is quite exceptional. That said, and maybe it is a case of too much of a good thing having dined four times in 18 months, the menu, stellar as it is, doesn't change often enough, even with seasonality of produce.Service from the maître d' and sommelier can be frosty, though the English waitress that served our table on two of my four recent visits is outstanding. The wine pairings are rigid and expensive. I find it preferable to order a few glasses plus a bottle of a lovely back vintage than to commit to the pairing.

Kayne (Kano La La): In Adelaide's verdant foothills, where nature's brush does paint,Lies Penfolds Magill Estate, a culinary saint.Where vineyards whisper secrets to the skies so blue,And city views blend perfectly with grapes' rich hue. Here, where modern lines meet the earth's ancient grace,Stands a restaurant, a sanctuary, a richly fabled place.Caviar and kingfish, each dish a crafted art,Beef so tender, sashimi that speaks to the heart.Tantalizing truffles and sourdough that's divine,Four types of butter, a gourmet's delight to dine.Cabernet and Shiraz, each sip a treasured note,Champagne bubbles dancing, Riesling in a golden coat.A Negroni’s bitter kiss, snacks that tease and please,Desserts that whisper sweetly, bringing you to your knees.Parmesan and Camembert, cheeses of the finest breed,Completing meals with elegance, fulfilling every need.Still water, soda, sparkling, spring—waters pure and true,Complementing fancy plates, a feast for eyes anew.In this epicurean haven, where service stands supreme,Magill Estate transforms meals into a symphonic dream.Modern architecture frames the view, leaf and vine entwine,Seasonal cuisine awaits, with wines impeccably fine.Daily lunch with leafy views, where time itself does pause,Creating moments memorable, winning sheer applause. For here in Penfolds' spiritual home, where history meets taste,Each visit is a melody, without a single waste.Come, savour the experience, where earth and sky conflate,At Penfolds Magill Estate, where simple joys await.

Allen Tang: My wife and I patron this amazing restaurant last Friday to celebrate our joint birthdays together. The service was impeccable from the moment we were greeted at the door till we left. Even though there was a main waiter assigned to our table, we loved the idea of having the different cooks bringing out our food and explaining the food as they served us. We had their Signature Tasting menu and as I was not a red meat eater, the replacement of the red meat with another was great and I was happy with them. We had a bottle of their GSM wine too. The ambience was great and our table look out to the night skyline of Adelaide. Kudos to the Chinese male server who took care of us through out the night. Will definitely come again to try their rest of their menu.Dietary restrictions: Great substitutions!Parking: Plenty of parking just outside the main restaurant.

OTR 19: Good food. Good size servicing. Ok value for money. It's an Italian restaurant but they are not selling Grappa. That's disappointing. It is a very loud restaurant when full. This is due to the hard floor and flat seating. It just reflects all the noise. The service was average and really needs training. Cutlery did not get changed after the starter. We even got asked to take the Cutlery back of the used plates. The plates got served across the table, and yes, there was enough space to serve correctly.

zoe hwong: Amazing Experience!!I recently had the pleasure of hosting a high tea party at Ayers House, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome, particularly by a staff member I believe was named Hope. Her greeting set a delightful tone for the entire event, making us feel truly special. The service throughout our stay was impeccable. Each staff member we interacted with displayed amazing manners and attentiveness, ensuring that our high tea was a seamless and enjoyable experience. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and it contributed significantly to the comfortable and refined atmosphere. The food served at our high tea was exquisite. Every bite was a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs at Ayers House. The selection of teas was impressive, and the accompanying treats were both beautifully presented and delicious. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the variety and quality of the food, which was a highlight of our gathering. The ambiance of Ayers House added to the charm of our high tea. The historic elegance of the venue provided a perfect backdrop for an afternoon of indulgence and conversation. It's clear why this place is renowned; it's not just a house but a home to timeless memories.I wholeheartedly recommend Ayers House for anyone looking to host an event or simply enjoy a sophisticated outing. The combination of the attentive staff, particularly Hope, the delectable food, and the enchanting setting makes for an unforgettable experience. My friends and I are already looking forward to our next visit.

Sofi Caimi: I recently attended a birthday party at Ayers House, and it was fantastic. All the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Blayne Warwick: Great corporate event in the pool room. Staff and food excellent.

Andrew Walsh: I took a group of customers to ‘The Cellar’ @ Ayres House which has been set as pool room. The ambiance was spot on with great food and wine all very well priced! Be back again soon!Andrew

David Eccles: Pros: Nice looking and well placed venue. Food was good and staff were friendly for our seminar. After being asked they remembered to put out soy milk reliably. Water at the tables was refilled in between every break at the seminar.Cons: I found the lights were too 'warm' for a conference, which was occasionally hard on the eyes, but may be better for a wedding. The projector was a touch subpar and definitely lost critical detail on a few slides with diagrams. The food was generally reasonable but they missed my vegan dietary preference and had no options on one of the later days.EDIT on 6/6/24 - no worries, I understand there are multiple sides chains in a link. I response to the explanatory n prompt response from the owner I have popped the rating up from 3 to 4 stars. have a good day.

Pauline O'Sullivan: Looked after very well by staff.....Setting and venue is just another feather in Adelaide's functions cap.

Jill Fowler: An Adelaide Music Club evening. Lovely food, reasonable price. Can join as a member, which then reduces the price of meal. Pay separately for drinks, full bar, and desert. The music of the night was 3 players singing covers of Simon and Garfunkel.

Tim Austin: We went there for a 3 course meal and dancing last night. We had a great time. There was plenty of food, we didn't go away hungry. There was a good selection of drinks from the bar.The complex was set out well and was very eye catching. It would be an excellent venue to have a conference, wedding or just a place to have a large gathering. There is a lot of parking available. The staff were friendly and helpful.I truly recommend trying this place, you won't be disappointed.

Ken Cooke: Great food, friendly staff. I've played a few functions with Pulse band there, they look after us 👍

David Sabine: As President of the Adelaide Music Club, l cannot find a better venue for our 200 plus members to enjoy our monthly music shows over dinner. We have been there for many years. Monday 4th December was our Christmas dinner with a beautiful venue, exquisite cuisine, great decorations and Fahrenheit 451 playing up a storm, causing 216 members to fill the dance floor and then dance wherever they found an empty space. A superb atmosphere in the best venue in town. Mimi and Donato - hope we can come back in 2024. Buon Natale to you both and your family.

Andy Chaplin: Fabulous venue and Fahrenheit 451 certainly delivered some top shelf music!

Cynthia Ghiloni: Amazing service food and atmosphere 👌

Adam De Pierro: We had our wedding there recently and Donato and Mimi were a pleasure to work with leading up to it. Their staff made us feel very special on the night and the service was exceptional. With the new upgrades to the venue, it looks and feels absolutely amazing. Fair pricing, amazing food, it far exceeded our expectations and we definitely recommend The Grand Ballroom for any event.

Vesna Maletic: ballroom and raved about the food which was delicious, fresh and plentiful. Donato and Mim are excellent to deal with and very accommodating, as were all their staff on the night itself. Things that our guests really loved about The Grand Ballroom were the friendly staff, pretty fairy lights, the large dance-floor, the separate bar/lounge area plus easy parking. The Grand Ballroom represents fantastic value for money and we are so happy that we booked there. Thank you again Donato, Mim and team.

Joe Virgara: Absolutely the best night, absolutely exquisite 5 star restaurant quality food, 230 fussy Italians...no complaints. A credit to you all 💝

DREAM STUDIO: The Grand Ballroom .. This is the Venue you want, they are truly amazing, we film there almost every week. The owners and team truly care about there couples, and it shows in there food & exemplary service. Having known them for almost 20 years now, we can guarantee all couples a perfect experience.

Renee Konivets: We cannot recommend The Grand Ballroom enough. We got married when Covid peaked in Adelaide, which made it a very stressful time finding out the week of our wedding that guests were unable to attend. Don and Mimi were so helpful, easy to deal with and compromised so much with us. They instantly put our worries at ease. The food was FANTASTIC and the room look STUNNING. Their value for money and service is like no other. Cannot thank you guys enough for making it easy and seamless for us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
