Anne Patterson: From start to finish APR were in close contact with us during our renovation. Commenced work in August 2023 we were advised that the renovation would be completed before Christmas. Honestly we had no confidence in this based on the delays in the building industry. True to Paul’s word our renovation was completed in early December.Requiring new kitchen/dining/living space, laundry, bathroom and decking alteration. We appreciated his tradespeople who were personable, with tall Steve a favourite with our kids.Every aspect of our planned renovations was discussed, and Paul & Jodie assisted in our decision-making with professionalism and where to source further ideas. We were fully involved and updated at every step of the way, and they patiently and clearly answered our questions or explained various unexpected scenarios in a previously renovated home. No detail was too small or unimportant and anything we raised was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. During the project Paul was involved with the trades on a consistent basis and ensured that everything was completed. We are absolutely thrilled with the results. Brianna Le Busque: We have absolutely loved our experience with Creative Homes. As our space was quite unique, with a poky kitchen and mezzanine, we needed a design and construction company that could come up with interesting ideas for the space- Connor was amazing with the initial ideas - straight away he pushed the boundaries and met our enthusiasm. The selection process was fun, and the team was always so patient with us, as we often had our baby in toe for the appointments. Having access to the interior designers throughout the build was so helpful, even something simple like having Kristina and Amy bring out a couple of white paint swatches that they thought would look good- rather than us having to look at a wall of 100 different shades of white!Craig advocated for quality throughout the build, and we are so happy with the final product. Can't wait to hopefully work with the team again in a few years for our next project!

Jess B: Zak and his team built a pergola and laid pavers for me in January 2020. From the get go Zak was very professional and had great communication. He came round to my house personally and we discussed my needs. He offered his own ideas about the style and I could tell he was very knowledgeable. He used a tablet for the design which really assisted in the process, even right down to signing the agreement. Any progress payments were sent to me via email, it made the process very smooth and no paperwork creating less clutter for both of us. As a client, I was encouraged to download an app which meant I could see what was happening each day of the build. It was really great seeing progress pictures and other notes about construction. I felt really involved in the entire process from start to finish and very happy with the end product. I couldn't recommend ZJ Building enough.

T K: We engaged Signature Bathrooms for a complete renovation of our laundry, bathroom and WC. As the work progressed, and was continually delivered, we expanded the scope to include hallway and three bedrooms. We replaced, floors, ceilings, and gutted old wardrobes for a near immaculate and clean finish to our old 70's house. The final renovations were not the most affordable option but are easily justified by the quality of work, elegance of design and attention to detail for a luxury renovation. Joe brought with him excellent workmanship and tradesman that delivered during the difficult times of COVID. Each step was clearly communicated and approved by us in person, down to the detail of positioning wall fittings. Anna Wu: , a new additional bathroom, a new kitchen, an alfresco, removal of an existing walls, the conversion of a kitchen into a dining area, a laundry into a butler pantry, all the electrical and plumbing work required, the leveling the floor and installed hybrid flooring, etc.We contacted about 10 builders in total but in general we found it difficult to find a builder who was interested or provided a quote within our budget. Luckily, we found Levalex and they were brilliant! They were the only one would came to our house and did a free quote. The first quote was over our budget; however we were really appreciated they were willing to make some adjustments to fit in our budget.From the first time we met them, they were professional, reliable and courteous. They really understand building, are good at explaining the process involved, and took care of everything including dealing with the Council.Both Alexei and Tim have extensive experience and, in addition, Alexei is a qualified civil engineer. Levalex were professional and easy to do with throughout the entire process, including good communication about when the job would start, who was doing what and when, and also involving us in decision making where needed. They delivered exactly what they said they would but they were also flexible when we wanted some changes.For our new kitchen and bathroom, rather than being given a handful of options to choose from, which is what usually happens when you go to a standard kitchen/bathroom retailer, we were able to choose exactly what we wanted; stone, cabinet colours and style, tapeware. We bought our own kitchen sink, kitchen appliances and electric toilet, they were also happy to install them for us.We were living in the house during the extension/renovation. Both Alexei and Tim made this a relatively pain-free experience for us. They also only work with excellent, professional and courteous tradesmen. Everyone was polite, helpful, friendly and every day they cleaned up and left the site tidy. Some of Levalex's equipment that we allowed to be stored in our backyard was always well contained, respecting the fact it was still our home. The work proceeded in a timely manner with all subcontractors turning up as needed. They are expert and completely trustworthy. I am very happy with the result!The finished product has exceeded our expectations and everyone who has visited can't believe how the house has been transformed. Levalex then arranged an engineer’s inspection and structural calculations for a new steel beam to strengthen the existing lintel to support our tiled roof and ordered the beam to be made accordingly and delivered on site. They hoisted and fixed the new, very heavy steel beam into place
Alex Mortal: I was fortunate enough to have chosen Levalex builders to do a number of renovations on my home. Alexei was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He helped transform our outdoor courtyard, which was an unused area into a seamless living space off of our kitchen, that can be used all times of the year. He also converted an open study space into a fourth bedroom, which increased the value of our home substantially before we put it on the market to sell. Renate Kreisfeld: Two years ago my daughter and I embarked on a project to convert her 4 bedroom house in Modbury Heights into 2 self-contained dwellings. We chose Levalex to undertake the work required to achieve this. Both Alexei and Tim made this a relatively pain-free experience for us. They both have extensive experience and, in addition, Alexei is a qualified engineer. They were able to provide us with valuable advice on the best way to tackle the task which included removal of a supporting wall, the conversion of a laundry into a kitchen, all the electrical and plumbing work required, the levelling and tiling of the floor, etc. The work proceeded in a timely manner with all subcontractors turning up as needed. Having had a previous experience of building renovations, I discovered that this is not always the way things happen. We were very satisfied with the quality of the work and the price we paid.More recently, we called on Tim and Alexei to help us when we discovered a major issue in a bathroom that had been fully renovated just prior to my daughter having purchased the house. After noticing issues to do with poor draining of water from the shower recess, she approached 2 different plumbers to identify the problem. After using cameras, both plumbers found that the plumbing did not comply with the SA plumbing code and that significant work would need to be done to rectify this. All floor and wall tiling needed to be removed to enable code compliant plumbing to be undertaken and waterproofing to be done. We asked Tim and Alexei to take this on because of our previous positive experience with them. They didn’t let us down.While Alexei and Tim work together through Levalex Builders, they also operate a separate company, Adelaide Premier Bathrooms, which concentrates on kitchen and bathroom projects. The renovation of my daughter’s bathroom was undertaken by the latter.We have come to regard Alexei and Tim highly. Amy Thornton: The awning we had installed provided a solution to cover and protect our outdoor area in summer and keep the rain off in winter while not having a permanent structure taking up room we don't have. It looks amazing and is so practical. The light it provides outside is an added bonus! Mark provided great service from the first point of contact to the final adjustments a couple of months later, after the new fence was installed. Glenda Edwards: Had a great experience with Pete when he came to tile our ensuite bathroom. He was very friendly, efficient, prompt, trustworthy, communicated well with letting us know when he would be there, what he had done that day and what he would be doing the next day. His work was exceptional as was his attention to detail and went that little bit extra. He was always neat and tidy and cleaned up after he had finished his work for the day. I would highly recommend him and would not hesitate in using him for any tiling job in the future.

Luci H: We just had these guys do a large tile removal job of 70sqm of old terracotta floor tiles in preparation for the laying of floorboards. They came at short notice, were competitively priced and did a fantastic job. All communication was excellent and helpful, Keet didn't mind answering all my silly questions about the process. From all accounts it was a tricky job but they got on with it and got the job done and the result was great. Floorboard installer very happy with how the slab has been left. Left the site clean and tidy and we would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone.

They presented us with numerous options and helped us navigate the process before making our final decision to move ahead with the job. The final quality and attention to every detail was amazing. The Hickinbothom agent secured a block at the first sale available. Then every step along the path of building they kept me informed of progress and the home was completed within 12 months. Then after completion any minor concerns I had were fixed in the 3 month period after handover. all the staff were very friendly and helpful . I am a very happy customer and feel like I made the correct decision building with them when I here about all the other builders going broke and people loosing their money.

Anth: Going through a renovation is a stressful experience but Domenic and his team made it far less so.They were always happy to answer any questions we had and were a pleasure to have working in our home. They were all totally trustworthy and it became a bit of an adventure to come home to see how much progress had been made each day.We had a complete bathroom renovation done, and I mean complete. The existing 60 year old bathroom was ripped out, all back to the original timbers, had a wall removed, a doorway infilled, an internal cavity sliding door put in as well as relocating all the fixtures.My wife & I had waited for over 18 years to do this reno and we honestly could not be happier with the result. We went into it with a fairly good idea of what we wanted but the feedback and suggestions given by Domenic just took it to the next level.Domenic discussed with us little things we didn't consider, such as lining up the grout lines by using a larger floor tile and having a frameless shower glass. We can't thank him enough for the design input, it just looks so awesome now.I've posted pictures of the before, demo and finished product so you can see how much work was required. We had complete faith in PDB and they did not disappoint.
