Gerry McAndrew: Great spot with lots of room. Had successful Christmas function for 70 people. Koalas appeared and were a great hit. BBQ was clean but not up to high volume. The gas timer trips out every few minutes and requires relighting. Need to supply own BBQ for more than 5 people.
Nadia: Great oval for a large group event. Bbq, shelter and heaps of carparks. Public toilets ava at the site.

MJ Leaver: who has sharpened her skills and built her fitness, and teamwork and is progressing towards level 3! Had a great outing at Nationals & is competing in Hawaii in 2024.We also have a child new to cheer who started recreational cheer, and joined a Mini Novice team in July - the coaches were very nurturing and encouraging and she loved learning and performing.Jamie is friendly, and professional & clearly loves the club, and the sport - and is still a competitor himself. He & Jess do an amazing job running Outlaws.It is a phenomenal facility, with a full sized competition sprung floor, mirrors, an air-track, and it looks really awesome.Outlaws SA take a holistic approach to training and they're inclusive of varying body sizes and abilities. Their attitude at competitions is ethical, and supportive- and owners, coaches, athletes and families are encouraged to cheer every Outlaws team on competition day.

Merk: Kids love the activities such as kinder gym and gymnastics.Heaps of social sports to join in on.Here is a video of inline hockey which is great.Since parents can't join the gymnastics sessions, I recommend joining the gym so you can keep active.There is a great Cafe as well.
Nick Mercure: Great community rec centre with lots to do for all members of the community. Basketball, netball, inline hockey, gym, volleyball, gymnastics etc, etc etc. If you're a local Blackwoodian, I strongly recommend you get around it!
NL: Had a great time here with the grandchildren. When their mother fell and broke her wrist the Pat, the centre manager, dealt with it in a caring, efficient way. She called an ambulance, checked on its progress and eventually cancelled it when it was ob ious it wouldn't be arriving anytime soon.she assisted my daughter and me out to our car and said she would call my daughter during the week to see how she was. Thank you so much, Pat, for your caring concern. Not sure we will be back anytime soon, but not because of the Centre! We don't want any more broken bones!!
