The Lenswood area enjoys a temperate climate, meaning that shooting can be just about all year around..... yes, we may get some rain, but arrangements have been made for it to fall on days other than shooting days and, not in the morning. (Well, maybe every now and then.)

The Club is open on Wednesday and Sunday mornings. Our Club calendar indicates if the Club grounds are not available due to other events.

We pride ourselves on being family-friendly and welcoming to all. Our philosophy is that we are about focus, fun and enjoyment, first and foremost.

4worldlovers: Kidman Archers, established in 1973 is located in Adelaide's western suburbs at West Beach. The Club's name originates from its time at its first home at Kidman Park High School.

On three occasions since its formation, the Club has had to move grounds due to property owners making changes to the use of their land. Despite this the Club has survived in order to address a continuing demand for an archery club in the western suburbs.

We have lush green grounds all year round that are dust-free, soft and cool under foot!

Set on 17 acres of National Park in rolling Adelaide foothills, Southern Field Archers has magnificent views over Adelaide and suburban beaches.

There are two ranges that take advantage of the natural terrain providing a multitude of challenging uphill, downhill and cross gully shots. Our 3D targets are a mix of American and Australian targets ranging from rabbits to water buffalo.

The TBC Field Archers Inc. (TBC) commenced in 1979 by a small group of people who “wanted somewhere to shoot a bow and arrow”. Since then, TBC has remained a strong and highly respected Field Archery Club in the State.

Field archery involves shooting at targets of varying and often unmarked distance, typically in woodland and rough terrain.

The club offers a field archery course, consisting of 20 targets, set on 35 acres of picturesque hilly terrain. There is also a coaching and practice area that is flat and easily accessible.

In addition to these targets, the club has over forty 3D targets for use in club competition.

The club also has a substantial practice range with all day practice available from ten to thirty meters. Our target facilities offer a wide variety of activities for its members and cater for the majority of equipment levels and types.

Coaching is available for beginners only between the hours of 9:30pm and 11:00am on Sunday’s practice days, refer to the Calendar.

Competitions at club level. TBC holds on average 9 Trophy Shoots a year and no matter what your archery ability or age there is a grade to suit every one.

During the Daylight Saving months, a Wednesday evening 3D competition is available once a month for the more experienced archer.

Competition at State and at National level is also offered to the more dedicated archer.

As you can see from the above, TBC has a great deal to offer it’s members and it is up to the individual how involved you become.

A Sport For The Whole Family - Field archery involves shooting at targets of varying and often unmarked distance, typically in woodland and rough terrain.

Archery is one of the few sporting activities that people of all ages can freely enjoy and not be forced into retirement or become a spectator through the normal ageing process. As a sport it will appeal to all ages from 8 to 80, +/- a few years either way, whatever their ability, providing they can draw a bow suitable to their style and aspirations.

It is one of a small number of sporting activities that allows all family members to compete at the same time and at the same venue but within their own class. A typical shooting session will have juniors shooting at distance’s dependent on age, along side the ladies and men. Within these age groups there are a number of separate disciplines based on a different bow class i.e. long bow, recurve, compound etc.
