La Rambla Tapas Bar: what do users think?

Bibi Hagan: The service was amazing the food was perfect and the cocktails were very tasty.I will be returning.

Robyn Donaldson: Found this gem by accident whilst exploring the alley on a recent trip to Adelaide.I honestly do not know what to rate higher. The food, atmosphere and service were absolutely first class.

Lynda Bae: My aunty has IBS so was a bit selective with food. However with the help of friendly staff and chef, they were very accommodating to her needs. We were happy to pay extra for all the dishes we were being particular about but they took it off the bill. My aunty was super impressed with the customer service and gave $20 tip.Overall great vibes, great food and exceptional customer service!

Jodie Thiele: Amazing food.Friendly staff

Belinda Wellings: Service was attentive and our steak mains were delicious. The brussells sprouts as a side were divine! The restaurant was empty the night we were there so the vibe was unfortunately a bit lacking.BUT we could not fault the staff, including their wine matching recommendation, and so we decided it was a lovely intimate dinner in this beautifully presented space.

Adam S: Servicenwas great - very attentive waiter. The atmosphere is also great - the period and themed decor is really well done. The food - one of the best food experiences I've had. Went with the five course chef's choice with paired wines. All amazing. In particular, the lamb was sensational. Was juat passing through Adelaide, but now i have a reason to return - just for the lamb!

Mark Swan: We started with a drink in the upstairs bar. The maรฎtre dโ€™ in charge of the bar was welcoming and friendly. Good selection of wines by the glass.Dinner in the cellar was a knock-out. We opted for the four-course tasting menu, and each course was excellent. Well thought-out flavour combinations and a careful pairing of accompanying wines. Service was on point - our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The price for pre-dinner drinks, plus the tasting menu and wine flight, was much less than we would have anticipated. Excellent value for money.Highly recommended.

Gemma Frances Wellbeing: Beautifully appointed bar. Cosy and interesting decor.Staff were attentive and friendly.I had the tasting menu which had highlights like the kingfish terrine. The cute butter and crusty bread was also a highlight. All other dishes were ok but not ones I would return to in a hurry.

่ƒกๆƒ ็ : Although the food in this restaurant is Latin American cuisine, it is actually more in line with Spanish cuisine. The food is quite rich and diverse, and the color is beautiful, which makes people feel good and appetizing. It has vegetarian food, seafood and steaks, which are very healthy, and the desserts and drinks are also It is even more delicious and delicious. Even if it is cold when taken out, it is still delicious. It can also be easily reheated in the oven or microwave. It is a wonderful store that I highly recommend.

Frances Gumapac: Always a good experience with the food and service. Our waiter recommended a few cocktails to try and I was not disappointed. The pisco sour tasted a little sweet, a little sour, and was beautifully presented. The coxinhas and empanadas came out fast and freshly hot. Not greasy. Both entrees were full of fillings and flavour. Of course, the paellas here are also very good.I keep coming back to Cumbia because of all these good food, drinks and people who work there.

Roaming Bush Barbie: Perfect breakfast and great service ๐Ÿ˜„ I had the prawn pancake ๐Ÿคค and son had bacon and eggs. The coffee was too sublime. Only issue, I regret sitting outside as there were construction works across the road and it was quite noisy but her not the cafes fault. They had the heaters on which was received with great enthusiasm. I will be back for more

Bernadette Mc Namara: A cold wintry Friday...lets do lunch! But where to go? Didnt want what has become boring pub food...and found CUMBIA! We were welcomed and seated warmly..under the heater in the garden area. Our waitress Alexandra was patient as we perused the menu.with so many delicious meals it was decided a paella and some garlic prawns accompanied by arepa...the dishes came out hot, aroma loaded and extremely tasty! OMG too many choices...really need to head back to try something new! The food was superb..a smokey paella...the garic prawns were plentiful moist and garlicky tasty and the arepa was a surprise to our taste buds yummy to say the least. Oh did I mention the margaritas??? Perfectly suited to our food. A very pleasant encounter all round! Ee will be back!

Mrs B: and loved it, there was more than enough food despite the portions being quite small, as we expected. We tried some new foods we've not experienced and the cocktails were fabulous, the 2014 Pinot Noir was amazing. The spacing of generously sized tables was perfect for a quiet cozy dinner.

Eddie Uchenna: I recently dined at Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant and found the experience to be good, though not outstanding. The ambiance is certainly a highlight, with stunning views of the vineyard. The food was well-prepared, but some dishes fell short in terms of flavor. The wine pairings, however, were spot-on, elevating the overall meal. Service was attentive but could have been more personable. Itโ€™s a place that caters well to special occasions, but it didnโ€™t quite leave a lasting impression on me.

Brenna Landis: The tasting menu was nothing short of extraordinary, with each delicious course presented beautifully. The chefs brilliantly showcased the best of South Australian produce, with innovative and comforting dishes. Every bite was amazing, and the Penfolds wines perfectly matched, enhancing the flavours of each dish. A special mention is the scallop and fennel course! The service was impeccable, with the staff friendly and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. Their passion for food and wine was evident in how they described each course, adding to our enjoyment of the evening. We felt truly cared for, and the relaxed yet refined atmosphere made it easy to enjoy each otherโ€™s company.Itโ€™s the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening with friends. Highly recommended!

Nicholas Van Der Sluys: I make a habit of dining at Magill Estate Restaurant whenever I am in Adelaide - it really is quite exceptional. That said, and maybe it is a case of too much of a good thing having dined four times in 18 months, the menu, stellar as it is, doesn't change often enough, even with seasonality of produce.Service from the maรฎtre d' and sommelier can be frosty, though the English waitress that served our table on two of my four recent visits is outstanding. The wine pairings are rigid and expensive. I find it preferable to order a few glasses plus a bottle of a lovely back vintage than to commit to the pairing.

Kayne (Kano La La): In Adelaide's verdant foothills, where nature's brush does paint,Lies Penfolds Magill Estate, a culinary saint.Where vineyards whisper secrets to the skies so blue,And city views blend perfectly with grapes' rich hue. Here, where modern lines meet the earth's ancient grace,Stands a restaurant, a sanctuary, a richly fabled place.Caviar and kingfish, each dish a crafted art,Beef so tender, sashimi that speaks to the heart.Tantalizing truffles and sourdough that's divine,Four types of butter, a gourmet's delight to dine.Cabernet and Shiraz, each sip a treasured note,Champagne bubbles dancing, Riesling in a golden coat.A Negroniโ€™s bitter kiss, snacks that tease and please,Desserts that whisper sweetly, bringing you to your knees.Parmesan and Camembert, cheeses of the finest breed,Completing meals with elegance, fulfilling every need.Still water, soda, sparkling, springโ€”waters pure and true,Complementing fancy plates, a feast for eyes anew.In this epicurean haven, where service stands supreme,Magill Estate transforms meals into a symphonic dream.Modern architecture frames the view, leaf and vine entwine,Seasonal cuisine awaits, with wines impeccably fine.Daily lunch with leafy views, where time itself does pause,Creating moments memorable, winning sheer applause. For here in Penfolds' spiritual home, where history meets taste,Each visit is a melody, without a single waste.Come, savour the experience, where earth and sky conflate,At Penfolds Magill Estate, where simple joys await.

Allen Tang: My wife and I patron this amazing restaurant last Friday to celebrate our joint birthdays together. The service was impeccable from the moment we were greeted at the door till we left. Even though there was a main waiter assigned to our table, we loved the idea of having the different cooks bringing out our food and explaining the food as they served us. We had their Signature Tasting menu and as I was not a red meat eater, the replacement of the red meat with another was great and I was happy with them. We had a bottle of their GSM wine too. The ambience was great and our table look out to the night skyline of Adelaide. Kudos to the Chinese male server who took care of us through out the night. Will definitely come again to try their rest of their menu.Dietary restrictions: Great substitutions!Parking: Plenty of parking just outside the main restaurant.

Madeline Paul: Had the most wonderful night for my husband's birthday at Zak's!! We had the flatbread, tuna cutlets, prawn and chorizo, peri peri chicken, potatoes, brownie and eaton mess. Can not fault any of it, every thing they put on the table was absolutely delicious! ๐Ÿ˜‹As they have a smaller kitchen, it seems they can only make a few different dishes at a time, so for larger parties maybe might be best to choose 3 or 4 dishes and order several of each? We absolutely did not mind in the slightest about the wait, the time in between dishes was completely reasonable and it gave us just enough time for the last dish to settle properly before digging into the next delicious course.Relatively simple food, cooked perfectly Thank you so much for the lovely night, we will certainly be back soon!

Dilen Shah: We recently tried the newly established restaurant Zaks Tapas and we were not disappointed. Great ambiance, really good customer service and the staff are super helpful and friendly. We ordered 3 tapas and a main and we were super satisfied. The only thing we were expecting was traditional Spanish taste but it was a mixture of Spanish and Indian cuisine. No doubt the tastes was great but it wasnโ€™t authentic Spanish food. Anyways if you like to grab a drink and some food, one of the better places located near the city of Adelaide

Craig Cheesman: Great service, great food. We'll be back!

I love the concept and I will be back again.Dietary restrictions: I am coeliac. Most dishes are gluten free and they provide an easy to use guide listing every dish and its associated dietary information, so knowing what to eat and what to avoid is fairly simple if you have restrictions.

Scott Godfrey: What to say about this place apart from wow. Went here for my 40th birthday I had heard so much about this place and it did not disapoint. We had a drink in the bar part first. Such a lovely aear to sit and wait for your booking time. The drink prices are realy good compared to every where else.We sat at the table the lovely lady told use how it works love the green light red light thing. I said to my wife We won't need the red light there's no such thing as to much food. I was wrong We uesd the red light a fare bit. I'm calling it a food party the sides came out and all of them are so tasty and would be the best potato salad I have ever had. Then the meat started to come out and wow I love bbq meat and this is next level so so so much meat then after the first round you. CAn just keep asking for what you liked. We haven't seen the price before hand and once they said that side was unlimited and all the meat we thought easy over $100 each looked on line and was shocked how cheap it was. 10 out of 10 for everything at this place food, service, vibe, all staff are professional and friendly shout out to Leo who served us the most. Matthew Yong-O'Gorman: Hit and miss with dishes. Wouldn't rush back when in Adelaide.

Dyan Higgs: The restaurant is beautiful inside just need a bit more lighting to read menus. The mains were delicious I do recommend the wagyu rump and adobo chicken. The salad was dressed well too. We had the buffalo mozzarella as a starter it said chilli on the menu we couldnโ€™t taste any it needed a little more zing. Overall we had a great time and would visit again

Chen Angel: The food, service and environment are very comfortable. The appetizers are delicious, kingfish yummy. The pasta is very special and has a very chewy texture. In addition, the staple beef is super delicious, and the fried onions go well with it.The tiramisu for dessert was also good but very sweet.Meal time is 6-9:30, very full. For a meal of 7 people, I had the impression that two bottles of white wine were opened, and the cost was about 750 Australian dollars.

Ben Anastassi: My wife and I wanted a date lunch Press* did not disappoint. We had a bottle of French wine which was described perfectly for us by the waiter and we were seated in a very nice spot where we could enjoy our time and chat together. We shared all of our dishes and the staff were so attentive and always cleared the dishes and wiped the table between serves. All flavors were great but the stand out dish was the kangaroo tartare the flavour was unexpected and amazing. Thankyou to the staff that looked after us and I apologise for not getting names to put in this review.

Coreen Taylor: We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It had been a really tough previous 24 hours and our waitress Lulu was exceptional. She made our experience lovely, knowledgeable of the menu too. We loved the fresh oysters, our small plates of tuna and pork skewer, amazing kangaroo tartare and mains barramundi and the abodoe chicken with a side of Brussel sprouts was fresh and tantalising. A quiet celebration to celebrate love and life. Thankyou Press Food and Wine and Lulu!

Cristita Caballero: It was our friends birthday breakfast celebration at Riverside restaurant. My sister booked for about 25 or more people, I was quite impressed with the service especially with Chef Vivien Lee and Chief Annaya they try to get out of there way to make sure we are all satisfied and happy. They were very attentive and the food was delicious and fresh. Definitely love to come back at Riverside restaurant.

bjmckay3: Fantastic food and service and what a cracking location alongside the river Torrens had a great day sun was out will book again soon thankyou guys and girls and the chef!

Mike: Fairly relaxing atmosphere. Decent service and food

Noel Beard: Great service and pre-dinner cocktails at the bar with live music as a great way to end the week.

Delma Reed: Shiki Restaurant - fabulous experience.

Karin McGuire: We only had pre dinner drinks before going elsewhere for dinner. Also had after dinner cocktails which were delicious. Would look to dine there next time we stay.

Nassim Hemmati: This restaurant has a perfect buffet for breakfast, with a variety of delicious foods

Neha Wali: Have visited this place while I was staying at Intercontinental. The breakfast is included in the package. Their breakfast menu is pretty vast. You can choose one of the main dishes from the menu. The fruits, tarts, yoghurt, crossiant, coffee and juice are included with it.Ordered Intercontinental breakfast which is basically Omelette on sourdough with bacon, sausages, tomato, baked beans and hash brown. It was delish. Loved the quality as well as quantity. Tummy fully satisfied! Also ordered, omelette your way which was scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and chices, served with hash browns and roasted tomatoes.Their latte and cappuccino was fantastic, loved their coffee blend! This place serves quality as the ingredients are fresh and the dishes are flavourful!

Shiki Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Kristen S: The setting of this restaurant is fantastic and the service we received from both the waiter and teppanyaki chef were great. Food was good, but not worth the price point in my opinion. We spent $380 here, being the most expensive teppanyaki we have had, however the food quality was not as good as we have experienced elsewhere. Delicious nonetheless, but you can get better teppanyaki elsewhere for a much more reasonable price.

Allan Smith: After going to a game of footy in Adelaide and watching my team win, thereโ€™s nothing like celebrating at a nice restaurant like the Shiki, Adelaide's Award Winning Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant located at the InterContinental Adelaide. This is where you can immerse yourself in authentic Japanese teppanyaki in the heart of Adelaide. Headed by Shiki Chef de Cuisine, Kenny Trinh, where the team have created a delicious menu of truly succulent sushi, sashimiโ€ฆ and the list goes on and on. They are without a doubt, the โ€˜best of the bestโ€™, and proud to showcase South Australian produce. The menu is extensive like the wine list, however I strongly suggest you try the sushi and sashimi selection, prawn tempura, wagyu beef, bok choy and snow peas, vegetable fried rice and miso soup, and for dessert the mango mousse with coconut jelly. All complimented with the traditional Japanese wine, sake. What more can I say - everything was tasty, juicy and cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and professional, and everything else was cosy and romantic. Very Highly Recommended ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

Tim Wright: Canโ€™t recommend this restaurant enough, I absolutely love every aspect of itRecommended dishes Prawn Tempura, Three Dipping Sauces, Sashimi Plate โ€ฆ

Jasmine L: Absolutely delicious food and great service! Super duper recommend the barramundi Yello curry! Something is worth to die for!!!!! The fish is still so crunchy after being in the sauce !!!! Another highlight is the special - scallops!! Coconut and scallops?! Who would have thought !!!!! Wine list also good! We had white and red. Definitely recommend the red! ๐Ÿ’•staffs are very nice and friendly!

Rob Gibson: Attentive service and tasty original Thai dishes

Aman Mattoo: This place has been long awaiting on our list of places we wanted to try. The quality of food is very high, ingredients and products used are of fantastic quality. My favourite dish was the beef cheek, perfectly braised and melting in the mouth and very gelatinous the way I expected it to be. The salt and pepper squid had a nice sweet and sour dressing drizzle over it although i could enjoy the squids a bit more crispy with the dressing only in the salad and not so much on the squids. The other dishes sounded very appealing and would love the come back to try them out too. Ill get straight to the highlight of the evening and that was Carmen the wait staff. She explained all the specials to us, gave us enough time to settle in and made some great recommendations and came and checked on us every now and then to make sure we had everything we needed. She served us with a smile through the evening.Great place and would definitely go back.

yTez Nash: Food is very good and excellent service. Rather cramped and uncomfortable stools at some tables. A little expensive. Had the tasting menu. Very nice s&p squid. Pork belly for me was mostly fat. Overall Very tasty.Parking: Parked in market car park

Tania Kemp: Great service and foodVegetarian options: Wok tossed vegetables are fantasticWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible and dine outside option as well

2KW Bar & Restaurant: what do users think?

Craig Jeffery: 2KW provide an exceptional dining experience. We enjoyed a long lunch, selecting the โ€˜feed meโ€™ menu, which allowed us to sample several shared dishes, which we complemented with brilliantly recommended wines and rounded off with divinely crafted cocktails. 2KW excelled in every aspect of the culinary journey, however the absolute standout was the customer service provided by the front of house team, in particular Lisa, who delivered outstanding attention to detail, expertly balanced with knowledge, warmth and professionalism. It is evident that the team at 2KW take great pride in their work, and this translates to a superior dining experience in every aspect. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Karen Ross: Absolutely Stunning! Classy boho vibes and setting over looking city grounds! Service excellent, stand out was Connor! Professional and friendly, helpful advice on a large range of wines and cocktails. Really appreciated his patience and guidance to find the right red wine ๐Ÿทor Shiraz in the end that suited me to a tea! Definitely recommend checking this rooftop getaway bar! 2KW was a stand out for me, for the 2 nights spent in the city checking out a few different venues. Most memorable experience was 2KW!! Highly recommend the Triple cooked salt and vinegar potatoes, they were devine! Will be back!!!!

Elizabeth Carter: and the wine was waaay too drinkable. The team of people who tended to our table were exceptional. Especially Aaron, he is gold. Thank you all for making a customer dinner a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We will be back.
