Richard Jacobs: Casual learning place offering a large range of adult education/Entertainment offerings at a reasonable price.

Catherine Thiele: Have attended many courses here with my fiancee. So much fun!

Sandra Ker: I took an intro to computers in 1991 with successive program-specific courses to this day. International cuisine, food for a healthy microbiome, Tal Chi & yoga...I have so much gratitude for the WEA.

Achtung Baby: Did a Greek cooking course here and loved it!Fabulous facilities with angled mirrors on the ceiling to clearly see what the chef was doing. Would highly recommend.

Irène Moreau: Bless Yoshimi, she taught us dumplings and was such a wonderful and happy teacher

Dia Zam: Excellent place to learn a wide range of things

Pamela Ong: Have participated in the swimming lessons conducted at Oaks, and the instructors were great. Mark was exceptionally encouraging and provided individual attention. Sam was good and motivational, as well. Overall, it was non judgemental and a great learning experience. Look forward to next season.

Sheryl Milne: Really research the course that you sign up for, because the WEA magazine doesn't have detailed information

Shawnee Mepham: Had a great day learning leather decorating from Heidi!

Diane Cass: I have done many courses here and absolutely love it. The teachers have all been of a high caliber, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the building/equipment is perfect. I cannot speak highly enough of this great, local resource.

Deborah Lilley: Found the course the team at the front reception and teacher to be very professional, engaging, friendly and very approachable. Most helpful and attentive to my questions.

Maggie Godde: I recently did sandal making and cheeses making courses. Both instructors were fantastic. So helpful and knowledgeable.Would recommend to anyone who's been thinking of doing either of them.

Yulia: Great! Awesome staff

Kristin Jones: Over the years I have done numerous wonderful courses with the WEA including picture framing, bicycle maintenance, computer skills for Mac, Thai cookery, cheese making, home maintenance, pattern making, upholstery and most recently sourdough bread making.I have enjoyed every course I did and some have been excellent and all have been good.I haven't any photos to add but over the years have recommended courses to others as being affordable, great value and all really helpful.

Vilia “The nymph of the woods.”: I've been on several WEA day tours and one week long tour hosted by Dr Dennis and Trevor. They are always friendly and so knowledgeable on the areas we visit, especially the local history. Written notes are always extensive. The little library is outside WEA, just to the right of the main doors.

Lemurian Moon Gypsy: Central air-conditioning should be fixed blow's hot when it's hot & cold when it's cold mostly in the drawing room

Brayden C: Studied my Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design back in 2019 i think, Traveled from Murray Bridge everyday, Lecturers were absolutely fantastic during my whole experience and super supportive! but for the new kids today, what they say about degrees in art is disappointingly true... art isn't a secure career, unless your GOOD & to be good, there's a lot of competition to have to weigh in above - brutal truth. Honestly you don't need to blow $10k on a diploma to get a job either, all the certificate does is gets you in the door and shows you know a little "about this and that" then your portfolio gets you the job - you don't really end up that far ahead of the average joe on the street with Photoshop learning from YouTube in the end & there's plenty of impressive freelances on Fiver with more skill then you & me with no schooling... I finished my Diploma and ended up being successful working in Disability!! what a change up! - recently this year in 2023 i completed my first semester at the University of Adelaide studying architecture & have since pulled out as my eye is now on electrical through Tafe in Tonsley! - the course is free at the moment under the government and careers in electrical are basically guaranteed - what im saying out of all this is kids, focus on what is actually IN and HIRING like madness, workout what one your half interested in and make the deal, don't get to caught up on passion, passion doesn't always pay the bills.... its the hard reality & there are more millionaire tradies in Australia then collage degrees... sorry

michael short: Fantastic performance , very different from what I've seen before , realy opened my eyes to something new

Colin Chapman: Well laid out with good signage

Adelaide Sewing Centre: what do users think?

Williampreet Dhani: Excellent service every time I visited the shop. Must visit for professional advise and reasonable prices for quality products.

Brenda: The old saying goes Mother knows best. Luckily for me my Mother knew Adelaide Sewing Centre and took me there to get started on my sewing hobby. I am so pleased!! I have been taught so much with kindness and patience, and become part of a community that brings me much happiness. Also, a friend of mine recently avoided spending a lot of money on a machine she would have been disappointed with, after I shared with her a tip Heather once gave me. She was very relieved! Having such wonderful people I can wholly trust to assist and guide me with all of my product, and machine, purchases and services is something I am always grateful for. Your beautiful business is a happy place for so many of us. I cannot thank you enough, Brenda

Helen King: Amazing place I get all my machines serviced here and have bought numerous machines from Kathy and Dave. Picked up another new toy last week. I can’t fault the service these guys are amazing

Christine Reich: The service I have received at Adelaide sewing centre has always been very professional. My sewing and quilting machines are serviced by David, and the quality of his work is outstanding. David and Kathy are a very supportive family business, and are a pleasure to know.

Glenys Elliott: I can always be greeted with a smile and get great help from Kathy and Dave and when I leave my machine for a service I know it is in professional hands with Dave.I thoroughly recommend Adelaide Sewing Centre to my friends and they always thank me for doing that. Keep up the great work guys a pleasure to shop with you.

Jacqui Hart: I love this business! Kathy is always so helpful and patient when I'm making fabric selections and I always end up with just the right thing. As a quilter I'm eternally grateful to David for his ready advice and assistance in technical issues, especially as the issue is often with the user! He has taken time from his busy service and repair schedule to follow up on my queries. Thanks thanks to you both, I'd be lost without you!

Jan Murfitt: Adelaide Sewing Centre is my favourite quilting shop in Adelaide. I have bought two machines from them and have them serviced regularly. Love their fabrics and accessories, bag making supplies and templates. Kathy is so helpful and Dave a wonderful mechanic and can fix any sewing machine on the market, especially longarms.

Kay Lovell: I have lost count of the number of years I have been dealing with this family owned and run business. I have bought several ‘high-end’ sewing machines from them with superb instructions and after sales service. Dave keeps all my machines in superb working order and notifies me when there are upgrades available, all at reasonable or no cost. This is my ‘go to’ place for all my sewing supplies, never stuck for inspiration or advice with any of my projects and wouldn’t take my business anywhere else. Thank you ASC, long may you continue to support my addiction!

Kay Calder: Over the past six years I have purchased three new machines from Adelaide Sewing Centre and had them serviced there as well. At all times I have received accurate quotes, professional advice and friendly service. I was deeply distressed to read the Tate’s negative reviews of this wonderful family business and strongly believe that this is an aberration.

Danielle Hodge: Great service both in the shop and of my machines. My go to shop for annual service of my pfaff and Sweet sixteen. Always get the assistance I need and my machine works smoothly after its service. Worth the drive down from Semaphore.

Heather Hopkins Quilts: Best business in the south for service and repairs! Wouldn't trust my HQ longarm or Husqvarna embroidery machine to anyone else.

Julia Mustac: If you’re after the best service and advice then a local family run business is always the way to go. Thank you for your expertise and knowledge. You will always be my go to store.

Australian Institute of Business AIB: what do users think?

Sidnei Ramalho: My MBA experience at AIB has been nothing short of exceptional. It has provided me with a robust foundation of knowledge, a wealth of practical skills. Most importantly, it has prepared me to navigate and thrive in the ever-evolving business world. I wholeheartedly recommend this program to anyone seeking a transformative and enriching educational journey.

abod rasekhi: Jose went above and Beyond to help me to start my MBA journey. Very happy with the customer service and they all have a great attitude

Louise: I highly recommend AIB as an institute for further study. AIB provides quality education delivered in a professional, supportive holistic way to accommodate a variety of adult learners.

karim boktor: AIB has been an integral part of my journey. It has solidified my knowledge and also meant I can have top line conversations with leaders in organisations. It also meant I could be empowered to grow my own business. The online experience was great and it fit in well with my other commitments.

Benjamin Leigh: at 6am to ensure I made it in time to commence the exam at the same equivalent time as Australia were completing it. It was definitely very challenging but I felt supported by AIB and the law firm and all in all, produced a good grade average.I recommend AIB and its courses to anyone. Just be prepared for the reasonably high cost of textbooks and lack of secondary sales market due to regular version changes

Marty Vara: I'd like to share, that over the 2 year period the teachings, and mentoring I received at AIB was excellent although challenging, I must say impeccable.

Cory Bragg: I have just recently graduated from the MBA program through AIB. As I was researching where to take my MBA, AIB kept floating to the top, specifically with their CX. I reached out via a link in Instagram and thereby started my journey. The experience was challenging, yet enlightening and I can now look back and say that I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The faculty and support from AIB was greater than expected. If you're thinking about an MBA program, put AIB to the top of your list!

M I: and student support was accessible and responsive. The variety of electives

Connor Brownrigg: I chose AIB for the flexibility and cost. There was no way I could do an in person MBA with family and work life, and I didn’t want to spend 50-100K either. In terms of value AIB is good. It definitely improved my writing skills. The more you put in to it, the more you will get out of it. Ask yourself why you want an MBA and what you’re hoping to get out of it. If you are someone whose really just looking for the three letters, this could be a good choice. Don’t expect much networking, especially if you’re studying in Canada as I did. There has been confusion with regards to AIB’s accreditations. Fortunately for me it hasn’t really been an issue.

Pat Perera: I thoroughly enjoyed doing my MBA with AIB. It was more challenging than I anticipated but the support from AIB ensured my success.

jillian floyd: At the start of undertaking my studies with AIB I would describe my feeling as apprehensive being an understatement. However, with the guidance I received through facilitators and courseware materials I found my way onto the path of success. My concerns about being an older age student, studying online from abroad and the fact that I had not been in a study situation for many years were daunting. After successfully completing the first subject it became more exciting.Truthfully, it wasn't easy and I did have to work hard. Even so by the time I submitted the last assignment I really felt elated and proud of myself.I can highly recommend AIB as being a great experience overall.

Delna Dugdale: My Masters degree made a difference to my career almost immediately. I was given project and speaker opportunities and consulted on systems and processes which enabled me to apply my AIB learnings in a work environment. After A COVID related redundancy - I believe it was my Masters that made me stand out from the crowd and helped me secure my amazing current role. The biggest gift was my study cohort who I am still in touch with. I loved my experience - although it was in the 'olden days' of AIB with 3 hour handwritten exams in an exam center which I hated but still managed a Distinction GPA!

Alyssa Lalor: AIB has been an amazing experience. I am now 1/3 through the journey to my MBA and while it has been difficult at times to navigate full time work and kids the reward has been tremendous! If you are after a fully flexible an supportive learning environment that gives you access to industry experts and peers from all different sector with different experiences this is the MBA for you! I cannot fault AIB, would and I have recommended friends and family to join AIB and start their MBA journey.
