Bec Krelle: I spend a lot of time studying in the Victorian State library and upon entering shared that with Izzy at the State Library of South Australia. Not only did she welcome us but proceeded to take us around, teach us the history and honestly it was an absolute highlight of our trip, she was incredible. Her hospitality and enthusiasm for the library was only matched by the beauty and rich history of the building itself and the exhibits. If you are thinking of going, please do. It’s definitely worth the stop, the people and the building are not to be missed.

K Braun: I have been enjoying coming to this library since being accepted into my master’s program. However, one of the security guards was incredibly rude to me. He said I “needed to open my eyes bigger” because there is a “big, obvious” sign about having no coffee. There is no need to be condescending when making a point.

Saania S (susu): best library in Adelaide

Yiyang Yee: Quiet place for studying & reading! Lovely!

Dewi Kusnadi: A sanctuary nook in the city for book lovers & all those needing to sit down among books

Amelia Ryan: Another thing that really caught my attention was how inclusive this library was and how attentive the staff were. Really looking forward to spending my weekends here!

Scarlette Eovlev: Beautiful here. Of course the Mortlock wing is enchanting. I was however not expecting the little museum ish part which I absolutely live for.A beautiful piece of history that has been wonderfully well kept

Peter Lane: Great place to use the computers at. 60 min session for free

Hyekyung Lee: This is a wonderful place. There is a small gallery and various programs. Lonely/Mr Marshmallow are good^^

Laksith Sirisena: Great place to do your silent work, studies and to do your online courses amidst library vibe. Users shall keep in mind this is not just a library but a centre for other community activities and their own administrative work. So it will not be totally silent, but it was okay for me and I enjoyed.Thank you for maintaining it well

Claire Page: Payinthi is a great new location for the library. It has a lovely area for art exhibitions and is nice and modern. It has a ramp at the entrance and disabled toilet for accessibility. The toilets are very modern and the entrance way to them is nicely decorated with a mural.

Basman59: As Libraries go this is not only convenient but friendly, good services although a few vending machines would be good. Great hours, good work spaces upstairs, and free wifi, now if they would just enforce the old fashioned no talking in the library work areas; why do people think it’s okay to talk on the phone and disturb others.

Bibin Thomas: One of the best library in Adelaide...

Jasmine Clift: The best library in South Australia, easily.

Claude Nortier-de Lieven: Went for help about Google apps. Community library service to members of the local community.

Emma Drake: It's such a lovely library with friendly staff. For me, I utilise the area to be a quiet study space between shifts at work. However, had an interaction today where I had to be kicked out for a workshop. Yet there was no signage or any indication of said workshop. The gentlemen was rather rude and ignorant to interact with considering the library is a space to be shared and utilised by all. I suggest for Prospect library to adding signage somewhere to indicate said workshops.

Hong Nguyen: For me, this is a peaceful place, peaceful to study, peaceful to read, peaceful to think about upcoming plans. Two more interesting points are the toy library and regular art exhibitions here. Moreover, Prospect Library is near Coles Prospect and there are many restaurants and cafes around, so it's convenient for us as well.

Reza seda: The jp lady in the library very helpful

Tania Nicol: A beautiful space-we required help to print? You need a bankcard to pay prior to print. Lovely staff.

Ma Fa: Friendly and helpful staff

Gary Salvemini: Staff very friendly and helpful

It’s very quiet and has several desks and extra chairs on nice little view. Additionally, there is a variety of books, laptops, and computers you can use, as well as children's toys and computer gaming for teens. They also offer activities for people of all ages, from children to older individuals. The library has plenty of parking, making it easy to find a spot, and if not, street parking is also available and not far away. They offer games for adults like chess ♟️, table tennis 🏓, etc. Additionally, it has a water fountain, little ready coffee machine at the entrance.
