Haymes Paint Shop at Norwood falls into the ‘great’ category.What started as being convenient for me, because I live locally, has now become my preferred paint shop. I’m always greeted with a smile and a positive attitude by staff but the stand out member is David Baric. He’s friendly, very knowledgeable with the paint range and colours but most importantly he’s patient. I know that I’m a fussy client, who will often buy an endless number of test pots to get the ‘right’ colour. David has always given me the time and support I need to be fully happy with my paint purchases. And very early on he made the effort to remember my name. Impressive!

Unfortunately the girl appears to be the complete opposite and doesn't even acknowledge the customer standing there, waiting. If she's in training, let us know so we don't think she's just being ignorant.The quality of the paint is second to none; It's consistently smooth, rich and creamy. Hopefully the dark pigments keep their colour and don't fade too soon like I've noticed Haymes' main competition in the industry now do. After discovering that Haymes is Australian owned and manufactured and, seeing the Canstar awards, I gave it a go and glad I did. As long as Haymes maintains the quality, I'll keep buying it.

Nicole Stewart: To my surprise, this gallery turned out to be quite remarkable. The collection featured stunning artwork in a variety of styles, from Impressionist and Dada to Chinese, Renaissance, religious, and contemporary. Definitely recommend checking this rooftop getaway bar! 2KW was a stand out for me, for the 2 nights spent in the city checking out a few different venues. Most memorable experience was 2KW!! The staff were very welcoming and our room was perfect. Bec Krelle: I spend a lot of time studying in the Victorian State library and upon entering shared that with Izzy at the State Library of South Australia. Not only did she welcome us but proceeded to take us around, teach us the history and honestly it was an absolute highlight of our trip, she was incredible. Her hospitality and enthusiasm for the library was only matched by the beauty and rich history of the building itself and the exhibits. If you are thinking of going, please do. The room was comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The view from my room was amazing, adding to the overall experience.The hotel’s central location is a major plus, with Chinatown just a few steps away and plenty of food options nearby. It’s truly an amazing property, perfectly situated for exploring the city. I highly recommend Hilton Adelaide for anyone looking for a comfortable, centrally-located stay with excellent service!

Richard Cunningham: The Hilton is well located by the free tram that will take you to the city mall, stadium, art gallery, wine museum, and market etc. Perfect. The whole friendly staffing team did their job and each in their own way contributed to a great stay. The rooms, the food, and service was top draw. Roaming Bush Barbie: I wasn't particularly impressed with this hotel. The rooms are a shocker!!! Really outdated and unclean, certainly not a 5 star accommodation if the rooms are anything to go by. There are way too many staff at the reception but only one serving at a time so the lines go check in are long. Despite the staff being nice I found the $100 a night for bond off putting and I was super annoyed when I saw the type of room I got for that amount and bond. The location was great and the buffet breakfast was really delicious however I wouldn't be staying here again not for that rate or bond.
