Mandoo: what do users think?

èƒĄæƒ ç : This restaurant specializes in signature Korean dumplings, which are actually steamed dumplings, fried or soup. As they always have vermicelli and seaweed fillings, for my taste, they feel too bland and lacking in umami. Bibimbap is just like that, relying on sweet and spicy sauce to enhance the flavor, but the dipping sauce for dumplings is not bad, and there are pickled cucumbers to relieve the greasiness. This may be okay in Australia, but it is not that authentic.

Ryan: Delicious juicy tasty homemade dumplings with quality produce made with care by what looks like the owner/father of the family owned business. Hand made dumpling wrappers and hand made mince filling. The kimchi pork dumplings are delicious we had the pork fried dumplings as well and the dumpling soup. Definitely recommend if you like traditional Korean dumplings cuisine

WCYH: Adelaide is dumpling city but Mandoo is the best 👍. Generously filled with the lightest, most delicious mixture with glass noodles, beautifully chopped veg/egg or pork or chicken. Bibimbap very generously sized, every ingredient in its place. Dumpling dipping sauce with sesame, shallots and chili also great, in a lovely welcoming home atmosphere.

thecookingecon: super good and VERY generous portion size. One bowl could feed 2-3 person. The sauce was given in a bottle so you could add as much as you like.Mandoo

Suda Shanmugaraja: Yummy!! Hidden away on Bank Street in Adelaide, this gem of a restaurant will leave you satisfied and happy if you are a fan of mandu; the dumplings that were a staple of the Korean royal court cuisine.Folding, cooking, dining and billing, all happened in one small room with barely 6 tables. There is often a small queue, and customers stand outside on the kerb to be seated. Our wait was about 10 minutes during lunch rush and we were able to place our order while standing in queue. The service was fast. The menu was straight forward; order your dumplings steamed, fried or cooked in soup. Other than mandu, there is an Udon soup and Bi-bim-bap. Dumplings are served piping hot, along with a spicy sauce and ample pickles. Most dishes include a salad, mash, or glass noodles. These are some of the best mandu I have tasted. The delicate flour skin of the mandu is second to none, the meaty filling is absolutely delicious, and the folds are expertly made by the hands of a master. The people at Mandoo are courteous and well organized. The chef and staff members made us feel special and were very obliging. The dishes are generous in size and offer great value. Each dish is portioned well per person. It will be ideal to visit Mandoo with a couple of companions and share and taste multiple dishes.

Be Won Korean Restaurant: what do users think?

Ann Marshall: Had a great meal, simple and tasty

Rosaline H: Fried chicken was nice and crispy, but the bones were too big, not much meat on them.Hotpot was average.Quite pricey

Nate Gil Barshad: They managed onions very well. We enjoyed most of the food we ordered here. The price for their portion here is a bit too high. For the four of us with the food we ordered took us almost 200 dollars. We have too as we might end up filling hungry or unsatisfied. Towards the end of the meal, the food gets a bit salty. Can’t complaint much, but overall, still all right dinner.PS: oh they may charge birthday cake open fee per person. Don’t know if other place does this. But something worth noticing.

Alex Vasek (Alex's Ace's): đŸœïž Just had an amazing korean food experience at @adelaide_koyeosaThe menu is a delightful presentation of Korean cuisine, offering unique flavors and innovative dishes. I started with the Kimchi pancake and KFC with some pork sides and corn cheese – the pancake was crispy on the outside, bursting with flavor on the inside.Keyeosa has some of the best flavours coming out of a Korean restaurant in Adelaide, the KFC and side sauces were PERFECTION 👌It's definitely a must-visit spot for korean foodies in Adelaide or if you just like well cooked delicious food! 🌟

nikky krasaekuson: Great Korean food, staff were friendly and warm welcome. My family really liked fried chicken aka KFC, they were super crunchy. Ttokbboki hot pot and Kimchi pancake were outstanding. The price was friendly pocket.Vegetarian options: They are some option for Vegetarian.

Aiden Nguyen: Food is great. The chicken is so good. Kimchi is super nice here. I love it. However, the cold noodle is not reall cold. I remember when I had it in Korea, they put ice in it. It is not really cold, just a little bit cool. Anyway, the taste is still super great.Staff is so friendly. I can ask for more kimchi and pickled radish as much as I want. Fantastic experience. I will be back in the future to try other dishes.Vegetarian options: Veggie dumblingKid-friendliness: Hot pot and fried chicken

Lyndall Hills: Amazing Korean food 😍😍😍 really authentic and delicious. We really enjoyed the fried chicken and the Bulgogi hot pot. And the chef gave us this beautiful Japchae which is one of our personal favourites. And my goodness this has to be the best Japchae in Adelaide.Parking: Easy to find a park close to the restaurant.

MAY Q Korean Restaurant & Bar: what do users think?

Pattarawadee Srimuang: May Q is hands down my favorite Korean restaurant. The staff are incredibly nice, especially the gentleman with glasses who always provides excellent service. I particularly love the snowy fried chicken and the soondubu jigae—both are must-tries! The corn cheese is also really good. Unfortunately, since moving to a new house, it’s quite far, so I can’t visit as often as I’d like, but it’s always worth the trip when I do.

Nick T: Quick service, tasty chicken, will definitely come back

Elizabeth Ognenovska: Incredible bulgogi, top-notch service, a gem in Adelaide.

Jordan O: Cozy spot for Korean fried chicken, a definite must-try.

Angel Ognenovski: Delicious Korean food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff.

Vincent Kok: Celebrated our eldest girl's birthday which coincided with father's day. Seats were filling up quickly. Despite being crowded, staff put on a friendly smile, always attentive and assisted with some table side cooking. The ladies in the family were offered aprons because they had white tops.Food was awesome and the KFC has its own character and crisp, although we would like it spicier. A definite must have.Dinner ended with a nice little surprise of a birthday song being played served with a candle Korean choc pie.

Marian Aylmore: I had the vegan Korean ramen with dumplings and enough to take home for another meal. House made lemonade and the Cass beer. All very delicious. Will be back to check more of the vegan menu.Vegetarian options: Entire vegan menu

Ripley Oborn: They have a plant based version of everything on their menu! The food was delicious and I had a great time. My only complaint was the acoustics. The floor, walls, and ceilings are too flat and bare, which makes all sounds bounce and echo throughout the restaurant. It's very difficult to hear what your friends are saying while you're trying to have a chat.I wish they would hang up some soft canvas or fabric artwork. Maybe even some hanging plants, or just anything with texture to help with the noise.

K B: I have been a few times and would definitely go againVegetarian options: Best vegan chicken I’ve had !

Sunny Kang: Very reasonable price, delicious with good portion! Such a good vibe to chill and drink with friends 😁Recommended dishes Seafood Pancake

Alaa Qassim: .

Ji-hoon Chung: I like the chicken because it is big.The seasoning is a bit spicy as it is based on red pepper paste.Adults liked it, kids didn't like it, but they enjoyed it^^The fries were fried well. The chicken radish was a bit disappointing.Worth going from Adelaide.

Daniel King: Food is nice and wait time was short. Sauces for the fried chicken were good! Some suggestions:Have a side of rice as an option on the menuOption to have ice cubes in a cup with the Soju. It was delicious but it was lukewarm. Would be perfect to have with 1-2 ice cubes

Angela Giles: Absolutely love this place! We ordered the feed me option and every single item of food that came out was impeccable. Since becoming a first time mum I haven’t had the opportunity to eat out very often with my little family but we did today and were so comfortable and well looked after. Not only is the food amazing, the service, prices and cleanliness of the restaurant are all without fault. Highly recommend to all, thanks Imo

Adelady K: , but it was on the spot for me and very moist. As you can see from the picture, they are crumbed but very thin and crispy. The portion isn't that small but nor gnerous regarding the price. I would recommend this place if you love Korean fried chicken.Kid-friendliness: My 3 year old son loved original boneless.

Fari: Soooo yummy! Definitely recommend

魚Family: It's great value for money. It was nice to be able to taste the taste of fire and Korea for the first time in a long time. I don't go to the east often because it's too far and the city is expensive, but I think I'll go here often.

Amanda Cheah: What an unexpected gem. Just wanted some comfort food and that's exactly what I got with beautiful presentation.

MG Gabor: A great place to quench your thirst and/or satisfy your hunger after an hour-long grocery shopping at Woolies. This place is clean, presentable, and inviting. The owners and their staff are so polite. They're very considerate to all customers as they translated most of the names of their dishes to English that I almost missed if they have Japchae on their menu! Thankfully, they have images on their menu. It didn't hurt that I've asked as well, just to make sure I'm ordering what I was craving for. I don't live around the area but I'm already planning to do my next grocery run at the adjacent Woolies so I can come back to this place and try more dishes from their menu.

Vitamin Z: with decent taste ~Pretty good I’ll say

Agustina Pages: The food is delicious. Like homemade.

Allen Tang: Last Thursday evening came with my partner and 3 other friends to have dinner. Service was great even though there was only one worker who look after all the diners. We ordered a few dishes to share. We had the Gochujang corn ribs, Korean fried chicken, ginseng chicken soup, seafood pancake, army based hot pot beef bulgogi and rice. The dishes were served very fast and it was delicious. For dessert we had the honey bread to share as well. Overall it was a very good meal and will definitely come again.Parking: In front of the shop and a open carpark opposite to it.

Chenyu Jia: It’s a really lovely restaurant. The fried chicken is a must try. They made their own dipping sauce which is really unique and tasty!Other dishes are very tasty too. And the portion is generous. I was so full after meal and somehow I still managed to finish the honey toast the toast is really thick and fluffy.

Janina: , fried chicken and japchae. We are lovers of Korean food and this restaurant rates right up the top of all we have tried.Attention to detail in the food was most impressive - sauces were just delicious. Actually asked about the mandoo dipping sauce- it just soy BUT they make their own using an interesting combination of ingredients to create a unique flavored soy. Would love to see this available to buy by the bottle

First P: I went to Bom Korean Restaurant 2 times with my friends. The staff and food were really amazing. The best Korean food in Adelaide!

Matter Medium: My husband and I are regulars here. Always impressed by the food. The best soondubujigae in Adelaide. My other favourites are the beef marrow soup, tofu mushroom plate, Korean Fried chicken, kimchi pancake and mandoo. Will try the mandoo hot pot one of these days. And the service is so warm and I love the homely atmosphere of this place. And parking is never a problem. I just want to support such an awesome restaurant.

Acacia M: Polite service, amazing fried chicken, and super quick to boot! I had Honey Lemon Chicken and it tasted so good, definitely recommend 😍

Koalafood clan: Yummy I’llKFC With plenty of choices of flavours. Service was exceptional from lady owner, I was blown away by her! Even my 3 children was raving about how nice she was!We ordered honey lemon, soy garlic & sweet spicy flavour. Our favourite was the garlic soy. Prices are so good as well, in particular those rice bowls. The chicken was boneless, I do prefer mine with bones as I find it less dry but that’s just personal. You can’t do half n half either but gives me an excuse to go back. Def recommend ordering the rice bowls. They use to do Korean sushi but they said they can no longer do since the pandemic started as business has been unstable and they had to throw groceries away if not sold. They also offer bingsu, dalgona coffees & other desserts but we didn’t try these.Support a small business, give them a go. Don’t expect restaurant style food, this is a quick service place.

isxac: Great place for Korean fried chicken, the lady at the counter was very nice. Chicken was cooked very well. Definitely would recommend to everyone and I would definitely go and visit again.

Stanley Chan: is this closed? anyone what happened for this Korean restaurant ?

sardude100: We were 50% of the customers in the place. In this case it was a good thing...A: It didn't take long very long at all to get our food.B: The spicy chicken and the BBQ Pork were the tastiest food we experienced on our 7 day visit to good old Adelaide. Packed with traditional BBQ flavour we enjoyed every last morsel. The accompanying Kimchi and pickled beanshoots with steamed rice were replenished as required and complemented the superb rich flavours of these Korean dishes. Pity we found this place on our last night instead of the first night. I suspect that we would have eaten there on a number of occasions. Anyhow our verdict was A+ for food freshness, quality and flavour. Ambience was a bit sparse but I believe that is being redressed. Don't let this put you off, do yourself a flavour favour and check it out.Cheers fellow gourmands and enjoy.

Robyn Couch: I have a slight obsession with their Sweet and Spicy Chicken. Very sad to learn they are no longer open for weekday lunches.

Kiley Li: Great value!

Jaween Ediriweera: Very nice restaurant. The Bibimbap was very tasty with nice flavours. The teriyaki chicken came with rice, kimchi and soybeans, also very nice. The staff was kind and let us know what was spicy in case we didn't know. Most of the dishes are Korean, the Japanese dishes being sushi and teriyaki chicken. There is seating for small groups of 1 to 2, as well as larger groups of around 8 people. I wish the decoration inside the restaurant was a bit more interesting, it's mainly grey walls. Maybe some Japanese and Korean artwork would be nice.
