ISOHEALTH - ISOBJJ: what do users think?

Aidan Do: Been training since November 2021. Matt is a good coach.

James Richichi: Hands down the best martial arts academies in South Australia! Matt Jones and the many black & brown belts there are awsome coaches and great mentors. They're super friendly, layed back atmosphere welcomes beginners through to the advanced. They are extremely technical there and the coaches do a fantastic job of breaking down techniques. There's a big open matt area, weight lifting area and an octagon. It's a pleasure and privelage being able to train with such an awsome group of people!

Yokozuna_D: World class coaching and a world class facility all here in sleepy little Adelaide! Who'd have thought?Although coaches and team have produced some of the best grapplers and martial artists in the country, the gym is still welcoming and accessible for pretty much anyone looking to try their hand at the sport. If you're looking to begin training a martial art, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Andrew Schultz: Super friendly environment, great coaches across all classes.

saiad hossain: Best instructor I have ever met ..really amazing place to train and friendly crews

Chris Perez: which includes striking classes as well. If you are brand new, a seasoned veteran or someone travelling through Adelaide I couldn't recommend ISO enough.

Edward Nguyen: Great gym. Really good coaches. Very accommodating for new people. There is a real focus on proper technique. Although in my opinion the level of intensity compared to other gyms I have been to is lower which isn't for me.

Richie Reynolds: Thoroughly enjoyed my training and couldn't recommend the gym more! The team have created a superb and welcoming atmosphere with the enthusiasm of the coaches only matched by the friendliness of its members.A perfect environment for training and development!A massive thanks to Matt and the team!

Taylor Garrett: Matt Jones, although met very briefly, showed an immense amount of knowledge and passion for BJJ and MMA. One of the nicest men I’ve met also. Will definitely be going back!

Elly Sheehy: , these were awesome for me in my line of work. I then moved onto the bjj classes and haven't looked back, I felt so welcomed by everybody and love the helping nature of all the students.Matt Jones' coaching is impeccable and is always willing to spend time going through a technique with me if I'm struggling. Matt, Nate and Sarah show so much dedication to their students I wouldn't train anywhere else !

Josh Gibbs: Visting from uk they was very welcoming and helpful go above and beyond to help you .

South Coast BJJ & MMA: what do users think?

Max Ouellette: Had some of the best bjj classes I’ve ever had. The coach was super enthusiastic and friendly. Everyone was very welcoming. If you’re experienced or just beginning this is a great place to go!

Peter Kentish: . I had a discussion with Coach Tom late last year and explained how i felt and he suggested i just give it a go and see how i felt. Bottom line is apart from being able to do something with my son that we both enjoy i have found a great group of people who all show so much respect and are so humble about their achievements . The fantastic people you meet there are all a reflection of the coaches and clubs genuine kindness and care for its members. I would and have recommended this club for anyone who is thinking of taking up a martial arts sport or just want to get fit while meeting really great people.

Stefano Glockner: Truly appreciate training at this Gym, great people, relaxed atmosphere and a variety of passionate skilled coaches to help you achieve your goals.

Andrew Sneddon: I’ve attempted to write this review several times but have struggled to find the words that best describe how amazing this club is. So I thought I would share my BJJ journey to show the impact these wonderful people have had on my progress so far. I started my journey roughly 5 years ago after a family friend brought me along to one of the many classes. This was a difficult part in my life as the year prior my father had passed away from cancer. He was a massive part of my life and martial arts journey up to that point. I was lost and very angry at the world for what had happened. After my first class I felt like I had found apart of myself I thought was lost, I was instantly hooked. Even though my journey has been inconsistent with old injuries, illness and processing grief I was always welcomed with smiles as if I’d never been away. The environment created by Professor Tom and the many members of South Coast is truly amazing. It has allowed me to heal from the loss of my father and find parts of myself thought lost. The hardest part about starting your BJJ journey is stepping through the door, I would encourage those to take that step as you never know of the possibilities created in doing so. Even reading back on this I still feel it doesn’t describe how amazing and welcoming this club is. I look forward to continuing my BJJ journey with South Coast for many years to come.

Scott Brady: Great place to train. I felt nervous the first few times I went but everyone is welcoming and helpful and everyone wants to help each other improve. Highly recommend

Beau Beverley: Looking for a stellar place to learn the art of "Pajama Wrestling"? South Coast BJJ stands out with its fun, low-ego environment. There, students don't just train together, they form a tight-knit family, always looking out for one another. If you desire genuine camaraderie on and off the mat, this is the academy for you! 🥋💪🏼🤼‍♂️Timetable includes -- Traditional BJJ with Kimono- No-Gi BJJ- Kids' Classes- MMA/Muay Thai Striking

Ashley Bodman: Dropped into south coast bjj whilst on holiday in the area, extremely welcoming and friendly gym with a high level of instruction. Will definitely be back

Daniel Mosello: Had the pleasure of attending 2 of Coach Toms classes yesterday during a weekend trip away, And even though i wasn’t a local the minute i walked in the entire team made me feel welcome, And i got some awesome rolls in with his team all very knowledgable people. Coach Toms way of communicating and demonstrating techniques is up there with some of the best in Australia and if not the world cannot recommend visiting his gym enough 🤙🏽

Joshua Pillow: I went for a drop in while visiting Adelaide for SA titles and my experience could not have been better. The gym’s culture is very welcoming and relaxed. Tom Davey is an Australian jiu jitsu legend and if you like him on YouTube then you’ll love him in person. I will be visiting South Coast during all my future trips to Adelaide.

Amber Rice: I’ve been here at South Coast BJJ for 5 years now. It’s been the best 5 years of my life because I have developed as an individual. As a kid I was bullied and was really shy and anxious. Now, I can stand up for myself, I feel confident about most things and I definitely don’t worry as much as I used to when I walked around the shops by myself. Not only have I developed my confidence, I’ve found amazing friends who feel like family to me. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. They’re great training partners as well as people to talk to.Doing Jiu Jitsu has also helped me greatly to become fit and have a body I’m proud to have. As long as you train and try your best, you see a huge difference.I recommend South Coast BJJ to anyone, whether your looking to gain confidence, get fit and/or find more friends, South Coast BJJ is definitely the sport for you. 😊

VladK Masterman: Since joining South Coast BJJ I’ve formed grate connections in a family oriented environment and built my self confidence as well as the ability to defend myself. Tom, as well as all the coaches, are passionate, knowledgeable and bring the best out of me.

Michael Mroczkowski: Very friendly and welcoming environment! If you are interested in starting your BJJ journey this is the place to do it. Best BJJ gym down south without a doubt 👍

Mick rickle: Really welcoming and friendly club. Coach Tom is supportive and passionate about passing on the lessons that helped developed him as a blackbelt and confident guy. So glad I found this club 💪

Mike Barnfield: Came to Adelaide from Melbourne for work and took the opportunity to go and see Tom and his team at South Coast BJJ and had a great time. Very welcoming club with high level coaching from Tom, great instruction and supportive culture drilling and rolling with the South Coast team. Can't wait to get back there next time I'm in Adelaide.

Stefan Glockner: Great supportive environment great place to begin bjj

Ka Lai: I have been to a few clubs and not gonna lie this is my favourite gym to go to. Let's put it this way I dont excalty live close to the gym but I am happy to drive 30 mins everyday to just train. Professor Tom loves what he does! He treats everyone with a welcoming attitude. And thats why the gym has such a good friendly vibe. Leaders lead by example and thats what I love about professor Tom and the gym. Keep it up professor Tom, lt Looks like we will be seeing each other for a long time.

Trinity MMA: what do users think?

Kayla Thompson: I have been a member of Trinity MMA for four years. I joined after a trial because the coaches and community was so friendly! I love the variety of classes and skills we learn. I have been able to compete with the club in BJJ and achieve my goals! The coaches give all the members so much support. We are lucky to have high level coaches who go above and beyond to support the members.

Nass Cooper: Excellent team and staff. Trained here many times since moving to Adelaide, always felt safe and respected. The head coach Mike is an awesome guy, known him for years. Always found him to be super trust worthy and friendly. He has a wealth of knowledge for MMA and jiu-jitsu. Please come down and see for yourself.

Adam Gee: Always a safe and friendly training environment, and top-tier coaching.

Ryan Bell: Most wholesome and welcoming environment for newcomers.

Marco Polo: In response to all the bad reviews, I would say something along the lines of shoving it in a very crude and offensive way but I will refrain from doing so out of respect for the instructors

David Shimamoto: for about one and a half years but all I can say is that Trinity MMA is legit the best martial arts gym I have ever been to. Everything they teach is effective, they will answer any and all questions in detail or give a demonstration if you don't understand how a move works and the instructors regularly spar with the class proving that what they teach is highly effective. It is also a really humbling experience going there as you realize that when it comes to fighting, the average man knows little to nothing

Steve Riley: Awesome

krivitchm: Was in Adelaide from interstate and away from the home gym. Came in on a Saturday morning and was welcomed with open arms. Really nice, friendly and knowledgeable bunch of people.Would definitely recommend coming for a roll or class of some kind!

Jack Wrong: , I am taken aback by the kindness of Mike and the dynamic class that he provides to all the people at Trinity. The class is suitable for all, regardless of how experienced you are at BJJ, as the team at Trinity is passionate about their work and MMA, and would treat you with patience and warmth. I would encourage everyone who is interested in or learning any MMA to pop by Trinity. Once you’re there, there’s not much convincing I need to do. See it for yourself!

Harley Blackley: Positive Quality, Professionalism

Joshua Butler: Friendly community, knowledgeable coaches, great facility, great diversity of skill levels, AFFORDABLE PRICES.....get in there and start your journey. You won't regret it.

Milad KMarddel: Different world to be stronger inside and outside

Liam Winter: No complaints. Amazing staff and professional coaching. Awesome gym!Positive Communication, Quality, Professionalism, Value …

Ryan Cooper: would highly recommend Trinity mma to anyone looking to compete in the sport of mixed martial arts or to any individual purely looking to get fit or gain self-confidence. super friendly coaching staff all with a wealth of knowledge in the multiple aspects of combat sportsPositive Communication, Quality, Professionalism …

Sk Sk: Great club, really good crew all roundCouldnt ask for a better crew to train with

eckies: Can’t speak highly enough of this place!Everybody was super welcoming and supportive from day one.The coaches are the perfect example of what you would only hope to find at a gym. They both welcome you and push you to be better. Providing you with guidance and encouragement every step of the way.Training here has both increased my fitness and mental health immensely. Suffering both anxiety and depression for years and ditching medication completely as a result of training. It’s not just about rolls and submissions now, it's like therapy with a side of sweat. If you want a place that feels like home and gets you in killer shape and a clear mindset, hit up Dan and Sean at Progressive Jiu Jitsu. No regrets, just good vibes!

Stanislav Sukhinin: Great culture. Various classes to choose from. Those who put effort in - get results. Competitions clearly show the skill and submission focused techniques. Trainers and peers look after you and give feedback.

Paul Clausen: This is a really great club. Instructors are serious guys but easy to get along with and top notch trainers. The kids class is particularly excellent. Great balance of fun and discipline and the right amount of pushing. The kids love it but it's not everyone-gets-a-prize, which means it's meaningful and rewarding when they progress.

saiad hossain: Amazing people and great coaches with loving approaches. Would Recommend anyone to come over and train with the absolute beasts.

Pamela Teves (Pam): Great and friendly environment

John Quin: Great instructors, friendly people

Pev Hall: Great club, great teachers, great people!

Tiff: My daughter has been training here for about 6 months and I started myself a month ago.Amazing BJJ School. Friendly and will push you if you need to be pushed.Looking forward to more rolls!

Barry Roberts: Arruda is a great club. Very welcoming with a great camaraderie. The facilities are great, with a huge matted area for bjj. The instructors are high level, knowledgeable and professional.

C W: Our friends invited us to come train along with them while we were on a visit. They are both long time members with the gym and we wanted to share the experience. Waz was such a great host and trainer and made us sweat. I particularly liked that he kept an eye on everyone during the circle training and corrected our posture and motivated us. We will be back tomorrow and every time we visit Adelaide. Thanks Waz and team from your swiss mates 🇨🇭

Ornella Byland: We were visiting from Switzerland and enjoyed a HIIT training with Waz. They were all so friendly and welcoming and checked on us during the exercises. One day later my muscles are sore but I can‘t wait to go back. 😋

Raffa: You won’t find a better BJJ Gym than Arruda. Prices are affordable, facility is the best in SA, members are great, staff are friendly and head coach Leo Arruda is the best you will come across! Can’t recommend enough.

Paola Orsi: and they all cheered up, with fist bump and happy smiles, it is so nice to witness!I always look forward to my lesson, I love Kali in particular, and each class is engaging, fun. I definitely recommend the place! 💪✨️💯

Sharmina Ahmed: My son is taking lessons for the last three years. It's not just about learning Martial Arts but also about building confidence, making friends, learning disciplines and learning to respect others. I can clearly see these qualities building up in my son.

Nunook: Sensei Cass, Daniel , Kelly and Kancho have guided my boys so beautifully over the last four years ! It is exceptionally well organised and they are deeply passionate about what they do! They have even helped accomodate my son with his special health needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❤️❤️

Margot: but there is something for everyone. I would have never predicted how much we have gained from joining CMAA and it has certainly become an important and valued part of our lives.Update 2024 - we are still training with CMAA nearly 10 years on! The instructors are still great, strong friendships made and plenty more martial arts to keep learning!

Michaela NASH: My family has been a part of CMAA for over 10 years and it is like a family to us. My children started when they were 3.5 and 6yo and as I was at the club for their training, decided to join myself and haven't looked back. The professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm from all instructors is second to none. They teach technical skills in an easy to understand way, whilst challenging students to ensure the self defence skills learnt are able to be used in a "real life" environment if required. Their focus is always on building and developing skills and abilities to act spontaneously opposed to solely on belt progression - that is something that comes naturally with consistent training.CMAA is a family club that genuinely cares for its members. Highly recommend CMAA for adults and children!

Antony Elwell: My kids and I have been attending Kempo classes here since last year, and we absolutely love it! The staff and community are super friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for students of all ages and skill levels. The instructors are highly experienced and passionate about teaching. 5 stars!

Joshua Earl: As an ex martial arts instructor myself I knew what I was looking for in a martial arts school for my daughter. We visited a number of dojos before finding Crocodile. After watching a lesson we knew this was the right place. Excellent instructors that mix fun with strong skills and understanding works really well for my daughter. Great curriculum design keeps it interesting. Outstanding facilities flexible timetable and options to branch out into other styles. Love the cafe and martial arts shop on site. Personalised written feedback on my daughter's progress exceeds my expectations. Well done Crocodile!

Andrew Holliday: My daughter has loved her time at crocodile martial arts and she is now going for her junior black belt. The Dojo is always clean and the facilities that the students have to use are always the best of the best. The staff are always welcoming and make it a great atmosphere for learning the moves of martial arts.I would recommend crocodile martial arts to anybody that wants to learn martial arts.

Erica Giouleas: Highly recommend. Great training school! Both my boys attend Crocodile Martial Arts and we are more than happy. The memberships are good value and flexible, with classes running 5 days a week. You don’t need to commit or book in to classes, which makes it easy and convenient for busy families. There are 2 beautiful dojos which are clean, spacious and use quality equipment. The halls are decked with memorabilia, which demonstrate the years of hard work, level of commitment, skill, experience and knowledge that goes in to making this academy so great! The trainers are kind, experienced with children and fair. The staff are funny, friendly and accommodating. The trainer to student ratio is excellent. Students receive regular progress recognition, which keeps them motivated and enthusiastic. My boys have come so far in just a year and I couldn’t be prouder! We love supporting small family businesses and feel privileged to be part of the crocodile community. 🐊 🥋

George Adams: A wonderful martial arts centre with exceptional training with great staff and coaches. The Chief Instructor is a highly ranked in a number of martial arts and has a great number of staff who assist him. A great gym for adults and the kids too.

K Lai: Very friendly martial arts school - my son has been going for over 5 years and it’s been one of the best things we’ve enrolled him into for fitness, resilience, focus and confidence. It feels like a second family and it’s always a very supportive environment with professional instructors who are fantastic with kids and adults alike. Highly recommend!

Jason Loizou: The past 3 years my kids and I have been training at CMAA. The team at CMAA have been fantastic with friendly helpful instructors that are more than patient to help you no matter your level. As a father of two girls it is important that my girls learn a strong martial arts that gives a parent the confidence they will be able to defend themselves.

Paul Frigo: An outstanding, supportive, family-run martial arts academy that values its students. In the short time my daughter has been attending classes, we have seen a noticeable improvement in her attitude and self-discipline. As I sat and observed the classes, I was impressed by the instructors' meticulous attention to detail and their consistent encouragement, which they provide to all students. The academy offers a wide variety of class times, and the presence of two training dojos ensures that there is always a convenient training option available. I highly recommend this academy to any family looking to enrol their children or adults who want to try it.

Gareth Davies: My daughter Edith has been going part of the Little Crocs programme since she was 3 and a half. She loves it. The staff and teachers are so patient and work so well with young children. I can't recommend Crocodile Martial Arts Australia enough. And as soon as my youngest daughter is old enough she will be hitting the mats too.

Ramona Palfy: My 11yr old daughter and I both love training at CMAA! The Team truly nurtures each individual’s learning journey and seeks to bring out the best in everyone. As a family business their life long dedication to martial arts, in all its dimensions, means we students feel supported and in good hands. We learn something new every time we step through the dojo door. Thanks Team 🙌 🙏 😊

chris katsoulis: Great place and great people,my son loves going for his lessons,

Rawan Hasbini: The best decision I made for my kids well-being is joining Crocodile martial arts. The instructors are so experienced and yet funny and friendly. Kids love them so much. The centre is so clean with lots of seats to sit and watch the session. Thr canteen comes in handy after a long day.U have a wide range of classes and u get to train multiple times a week. Prices are affordable compared to any other activity. Love to be part of CMAA family and love the big smiles and rhe warm welcome me and my kids get as soon as we step in.

Julie McIntyre: Kancho, the welcoming and always lovely Kelly, the incredible Sensei’s Cassidy, Daniel, Jesse and Giacinta, and all staff, have the perfect teaching balance for not only kids, but for the teens and adults including a safe and guided environment, respect, support, techniques, fun, games

Sona Sood: I have trained with CMAA for over 3 years along with my kids. We love the training environment. The trainers are absolutely wonderful. Along with being skilled they are very caring and compassionate. They encourage everyone - regardless of age and skill level. It has been a fantastic experience and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn Martial arts.

Ned2Bad: Great Dojo for the little one. All the stuff are super friendly and the make the classes entertaining but also well structured and organised.
