Nineteen Ten: what do users think?

Lily Matas: Nineteen Ten in Adelaide's CBD is an absolute delight! As a retired hospitality worker, I truly appreciate seeing staff who not only enjoy their work but also create an inviting and positive atmosphere. Tom, who served me, showcased exceptional bartending skills along with a friendly smile and charm. The burlesque show was fantastic—engaging and interactive, which really enhanced the excitement of the evening. As a lover of dance, the performers personally convinced me to try burlesque myself. Their energy and charisma were truly inspiring, and their performances left me eager to explore this art form further. The surprise of a rooftop pool, used creatively in the performances, added a unique touch. The live music was lively and fun, with audience participation encouraged, which made the experience even more enjoyable.Plus, the luxurious lift to the rooftop was a nice touch that set this venue apart from the usual. Highly recommend Nineteen Ten for a memorable and fun night out!

Tiago Nogueira: Atmosphere: 5/5

Lorraine Brougham: My first visit was a beautiful atmosphere. Staff extremely friendly.Parking: Car park across the street. Very convenient and felt safe.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift to the top floor suitable for wheelchairs.

Dylan Cook: Went tonight for a fringe show and have to say it exceeded what my wife and I expected.Great service, wonderful gorgeous staff and a great drinks menu. Classy establishment and we would happily spend a Saturday night there.

sandra harris: My son had his engagement party at 1910 . Wow the staff were so lovely. The food which was finger food which keep on coming and was tasty. The children played in the pool while the adults chatted . Everyone had a great afternoon party and I really recommend this venue tucked away private and fun

Bec M: Coolest venue in the city! Been a couple of times for the Burlesque Saturday nights, and loved it both times. Great roof top views, an intimate seating area around a small swimming pool, lots of attention to small details, exceptional table service, great cocktails, including pacers and mocktails. We definitely plan on making it a regular haunt!

Christy Gower: Always a fun night at nineteen ten, great resident dancers. The speciality shows are always amazing with talented performers. The cocktail menu is always changing and they're always a hit. Inclusive entertainment where you can come as you are and have an awesome night. My absolute favourite venue in Adelaide for after dark fun 😍Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift

Winston Spitzer: The best music hall in the world to me. Small. Very small. The first time I went there I thought that I was in the wrong place. Not a concert venue, but just a bar. Nice though. But definitely no concert venue. Or so I thought. But I had come there so I decided to stay and drink a beer. It was still early in the night. When I went to the toilet after 3 beers I noticed a small stage in the back.Weird. The place in the back could be best described as very small. In my mind I could devise it into 3 pieces of equal area. The first place the stage, the second place the place for the audience. And as a third place to indicate the size of the first 2 parts. The place behind where a snooker table stood.

Carolyn B: The staff are always lovely, and our local bands are amazing and deserving of big, enthusiastic crowds.

Steven Campbell: Awesome jazz night on a Wednesday night. Plenty of cool gigs too like Peter Bibby. Also nice outdoors area and good Cooper's on tap

Loyo: Excelent music festivalAtmosphere: 5/5 …

DanCass Noah: Came here last night for a Bring me the horizon themed BTS. Great sized rooms, outside chill out zone which is perfect when it gets a bit stuffy inside and also an upstairs section with lounges on a mezzanine floor. I heard mixed reactions on the venue before going for the first time last night but can honestly say it is a great venue and i thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Mario Soric: Nice old fashioned venue

Allan Briaga: Good venue.

Samantha Oerlemans Larmour: Love the atmosphere and real friendly and competent staff.

Georgina Norsworthy: Great venue, however should have used covid to upgrade the facilities. Probably wouldn't go again. Getting too old for that.

Luke Jermaine Brown: Great space that sells glassware and some pottery and jewellery. Area to watch glass blowing in action.

Dorian: excellent venue!! very beautiful and accepting environment!! went to sunami sound quality was immaculate!! splendid indeed was this experience!! 10/10 highly recommended for all!!

Salad Mander: even with an event that night

H. Mosa: I love how the ventilation and cool air inside of this place, very comfortable to be at!

Chantalle Schweizer: Visited this place to attend a music gig/concert, got nice up and close to performers. Many bouncers we're present however we had no issues with them and the overall attitude of the crowd was great with a fair bit of diversity.Drinks were average, however the aesthetic of this place was awesome, and security and bar staff seemed in good spirits.

Ewan Mitchell: Sick club always good bangers

Courtney Bennell: Decent live music venue

Hayley Gerrard: The nicest employees ever, I lost my keys and the security did everything they could to find them and, eventually did! Also really good music and drinks. 10/10

Ian Hogg: What a great venue ..I'm from melb and have heard great things for years ...

Katherine O'Loughlin: Best night Saturday night. TUSK you were truly Amazing. We had dinner with you guys prior to the show which was delicious. Plenty to eat, servings were great. Our dinner didn't come out at the same time, friends ordered last got theirs first by the time the rest of us got ours they'd pretty much finished. It was busy so we do understand. The only other issue we had was with a manager I think he was, maybe security I have no idea. Anyway he needs to learn some manners and look at the bigger picture next time. He upset a few people for no good reason. The reserved seating needs to be addressed and dealt with differently next time. Bar staff throughout the night were great, thank you for a memorable night. Look forward to visiting again 🌹🦋🍓

Alan T: Tusk gave a very convincing FleetwoodMac concert and pub night ... great venue exudes atmosphere, and next time, I will grab a plate of wedges to enjoy at intermission with my beer.

June Woolford: What a fabulous place! Great music, super friendly people all under a historic roof. Many interesting artifacts, affordable food and beverages and some great conversations to be had here. Check it out!

Rhys Moult: Love that this iconic Adelaide institution supports local music talent. The Semaphore Workers Club hosted the University of Adelaide Elder Conservatory of Music Big Band who played some classic big band tunes. The drinks were cheap - $8 Coopers stubbies and they had cheap food too with $6 cheese toasties and $6 homemade soup.A great atmosphere, quirky and historic communist propaganda, full sized free snooker tables and homely furnishings make for a great night out with friends.

Julie Dickenson: Live Adelaide music, welcoming large venue , informal atmosphere, showcasing our local talents. Cheap drinks and pool tables are available. It's quirky and fun.

Simon Kennedy: Awesome live music 🎶 venue 😎🎺🎸🥁 🎹🎷 .Some of the best blues and rock bands have played from around the Globe and the place really rocks.Every week, Friday night and Sunday evening, amazing bands, awesome musicians, good people, well priced drinks.A hidden gem for locals but everyone is welcome. All ages but the mature crowd is chilled, until the music starts 😁🍷 Dance floor rocks💃🏻🕺🏻

Shane Parker: Great spot for bands and billiards

Rachel Burchett: An excellent venue for live music in the north of Adelaide. Quirky decor, pool tables, good value drinks and great service from the staff. Fantastic bands and people always get up and dance. Sometimes they have a sausage sizzle or some other yummy bargain eats on the front porch. And don't forget the beautiful sea views from the beer garden out front. Lovely on a sunny Sunday summer afternoon!

Sam Johnson: Bloody awesome venue. Great music and great atmosphere

Richard Lea: I love the Semaphore Workers Club, great music and great atmosphere! I wish I still lived on the Coast so as to be closer.

Wayne Brokensha: For a theatre that is over 111 years young, and having been totally restored a few years ago, she is majestic, beautiful, amazing, a gem to behold. She is an out of this world extravaganza. From time to time, there are guided tours held here so many people can enjoy her beauty. Her Majesty's Theatre is more than just a theatre, she is a 21st century modern masterpiece, a world class national treasure of the absolute highest order.

Steven Dewhirst: SA Gay Pride Awards held there great service and the space was excellent

Prima Troep: Nice place ambiance, lacking sign "entry4". Wonder what the acoustics are. The pianist Beving was playing a piano with speakers. From where I was sitting, more or less 8m from them, I could hear the piano ánd the speakers almost at the same time. Almost..Annoying.

Mattia's Pizza: A beautiful oasis in the Adelaide Hills and a must-visit if you are a lover of nature and art. We have collaborated with UKARIA on a few occasions now, using their on-site pizza oven and outdoor kitchen. The team are a delight to work with to ensure that all of the guests are delivered a seamless and delicious pizza experience by Mattia's Pizza & UKARIA!

Susan Fraser: We went to listen to the Australian String Quartet. The concert hotel is beautiful and the sound quality amazing. The ASQ were fabulous too

Karen Vanlint: What a beautiful venue, set in lovely gardens with a labyrinth and a series of cascades. Steep path for those pushing a wheelchair! Floor to ceiling windows, great acoustics. I was taking part in an a Capella workshop.

David Maddison: What a beautiful masterpiece! It was an absolute pleasure to experience VOCES8 at Ukaria last night. Beyond the performance, the whole evening was magical - the foggy drive up to the venue, the alluring sound of water trickling as you walk up the garden path, the intricate timber ceiling - this place is just beautiful

Kathy Wooller: Imagine an immersive experience where every fibre of your being is awashed in the ebbs and flows of each note as the instruments combine in harmony to make beautiful music. That is the magic of music at Ukaria. Last night was a tribute to Miles Davis and jazz. Can’t wait to see James Morrison play here in September.

Catherine Lock: Loved the experience, the small gallery was excellent. The staff were very obliging. C&W

Ryszard Kielpikowski: There was a concert here.BLOODY AWESOME !!!

Paul Purvis: Not just a great concert but a wonderful setting

Claire Page: A beautiful setting to enjoy high quality talented artists. The seats are quite comfortable and you can get a reasonable view from most seats. The acoustics were fantastic. The food is very simple, a plain soup with a roll. There are plenty of wines to choose from though and good coffee. There are flavoured mineral waters and lemonade as well and plenty of carafes of water. The toilets were very nice and clean with very nice Jurlique soap. Accessibility has been taken into account as there is a disabled parking area which can fit quite a few cars. Otherwise it is very enjoyable to stroll up from the main carpark through the beautiful garden. As we are close to spring, the garden is filled with stunning daffodils and some lovely leucadendron lines the edge of the carpark. The garden changes with the seasons and is always lovely to visit.

Kathy McLean: Beautiful performance from ASQ and gorgeous venue

Michele Southam: Just a sublime building in a perfect place.Come for the garden, come for the view, come for the wine, come for the beautiful building, come for the interval refreshments, DEFINITELY come for the divine music...what can I say, you will not regret your Ukaria experience.

Helena Blackburn: Wonderful space for recitals.

Christopher: Absolutely beautiful location with a gorgeous venue and amazing music.

Mary K: Excellent venue. Staff are friendly and efficient. The latest play, 'Julia' was an incredible performance. Everyone should see it.

Steven Dewhirst: Friend had a exhibit there was a great space

Michelle Swincer: Easy access to seats. Great view of the stage even though we were at the back.

Carol Overweel: The Dunstan Playhouse is a great place to watch live entertainment. Went to see "The Woman in Black", the smaller more intimate size of the theatre made the actors seem closer and you could be more involved in the performance. The venue may be in need of some refurbishment to the seating etc but I found it a great night of entertainment and forgot these issues when the play started. Most impressed with the two actors, John Waters is such a versatile actor and the amount of dialogue that both actors delivered over the two hour performance was amazing. Brilliant job by both👏👏👏

Renee Walker: A great theatre for more intimate performances, have seen a couple of theatre pieces here and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere Dunstan Playhouse creates.

Jane Chapman: Went and saw Potted Potter at the Dunstan Festival Theatre, it was absolutely brilliant....

brett stirzaker: Two parts to the UNESCO Jazz performance. The first act was poorly engineered into the Playhouse. Reflects poorly on the band & Jazz in Adelaide. The second part, the Thomas Voss BB was excellent by tunes, performance & engineering into the Playhouse. This was a true indication of Jazz & music in Adelaide, bravo, more please & soon.

Rainer Leupold: It a good theatre to be in

Kim S: Lovely theatre. No seat has a poor view of the stage. Staff are friendly.
