Avanti Pasticceria: what do users think?

Mario Cala: I read the great reviews on here about Avanti Pasticceria, and decided to get our mums 80th cake from here. It was the best continental cake we've ever had. Everyone at the party agreed. Well done Avanti. 👏

Carla Mckenzie: Avanti made my cake for my birthday and I can't thank them enough for the quality taste and beautiful presentation of it! My family and I throughly enjoyed it! We will be back again! Thankyou thankyou!!!!!

Sicily Mylove: Their sweets are amazing everytime we go...their taste is unique and Italian flavours are special!!The best part is now you can enjoy your favourite sweet with a coffee while buying or ordering them!!! 😍👍

Clara Esposito: Delicious cakes and great prices

Tommy Abdalla: Hands down the best pasticceria in town. Can’t recommend them enough. Every bite reminds me of great memories from my childhood.

Rosanna Fontino: Yummy

Joseph Rossi: Great cakes and biscuits

krystyna sgro: I always order my cakes from Avanti. The whole family including the fussy little ones love the tasty cakes and eagerly look forward to desert after our celebratory lunch or dinner. I collect the Birthday cake the day before I need it because I have personally discovered the cake tastes better when the flavours have been given time to permeate through the cake.Prices are very reasonable and vary depending on cake size. Standard decorations are available and are quite nice. The cakes are cooked daily and are always very fresh. We love them.

akshay kumar: Best cake makers in Adelaide for me.

Marco Cianfaglione: Awesome cakes

oly farese: Great customer service and beautiful cakes

Susie Young: This is a factory direct outlet for different sorts of Italian tarts and desserts such as ricotta canolli, custard puffs, eclairs and all sort of cakes that can be made to order. All freshly made and super delicious. We will definitely be back to order more.

Perrymans Bakery: what do users think?

Kelly Mearns: Must be the best bakery in Adelaide! The food is so fresh and the taste is so good you just know high quality ingredients have been used. My favourite bakery by far.Consistent good quality food that keeps me coming back again and again.

Sea Breeze: .It would be nice to see a list of all the sweet items for sale, with prices. Or labels inside the glass cases. Nobody wants to quiz the staff on “what is this? And how much is it” on ALL the sweet options, esp when there are customers lined up behind you.My first visit, plenty reasons to go back for, another day. Thai sausage roll for lunch etc, and beestings in different sizes.Hardworking staffParking: Ok amount of 30min parks outside the bakery, but was not there at peak time.

James McCall: The best vanilla slice I’ve ever had, and the children gave their kranskies and cinnamon donuts a 10/10.Also, the way the staff handled a rude, bossy old woman is to be commended. But that’s North Adelaide for you, I guess.Great job to a bakery that’s punching well above its weight.

Chad Mckenzie: Great local bakery, I couldn't believe how many people came in buying the sòurdough bread.Coffee was really good and we enjoyed sitting out under the umbrellas watching the world go by.Staff were full of good cheer and were very welcoming.

Max Chaff: An absolute institution of North Adelaide. It was slinging baked wares well before my parents were conceived and hopefully will still be doing so after I am long gone. The pasties are arguably the best in adelaide, they aren’t quite up to their prime from around 15 years ago but hands down the best beesting in adelaide and the cheese and onion sourdough is the greatest bread I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. The only pity is they only offer the sourdough on Saturdays. An excellent kids playground is at the end of the street a great excuse for a bakery picnic outing when the kids are sick of toast.

Happy Mummy: . But please, your beef pies sell out early every day, while loads of sausage rolls, pasties and other pies still fill the shelves. Why won't you adjust to the demand? Please, make more pies! To line up for a while, only to find out the one thing you want is already sold out by 12pm, you can do better! I have seen other people disappointed by this too.

Rachel: Ordered a selection of cocktail sweets for a special occasion. Excellent quality, easy to order online, was ready on time & staff great to deal with.

Pasticceria by Orsola: what do users think?

Giovanni Carone: I finally found a solid Italian Pasticceria.Bought a mix of lobster tails, bombolone, bignè etc everything was perfect. Balanced sugar, nice taste and the lobster tail was super crunchy like it should be.Well done.

Marino Ivancic: One of the issues I have with Adelaide cafes is the difficulty of getting delicious, fresh creamy cakes and really good coffee - at the same place/time. Hard enough to find just one of the 'passion pair,' let alone both. At Orsola, a wide selection of Italian patisseries is baked on the premises AND the coffee is made with care. I guess you could call it a 'mangiare a trois' to mix languages/metaphors - tongue, pastry and coffee all having a really REALLY good time lol.

Romeo Rigon: A wonderful family run business that are extremely friendly and always offering a free coffee, generous people who make exceptional sweets with top ingredients. Some old family regional treats and new ones too. Reasonable price. Highly recommendedDietary restrictions: Gluten freeParking: On street parking. No problems at allKid-friendliness: Italian family friendliness

Roger Heyne: Fantastic cakes. When entering the shop, seeing all the colorful food; my mouth begins to water. I have already experienced one of their Birthday cakes the other day. 👍👍

Cecilia: Delicious custard cannoli, chocolate coated custard and coffee eclairs, good vanilla slice. Will return to try their lobster tail which is only available on Saturdays and had run out by noon. Doesn't take maxxia meal entertainment card

Rush Riz: This is a hidden gem in Rostrevor.Love their chocolate eclairs and carrot and walnut cake

Jonathan Wade: Highly underrated. This is as close to authentic Italian “stand-up” coffee and cake joint as it comes. Italian pastries are arguably the best in Adelaide.

Dianne Dolman: We went to a private function there...the sweets are very tasty

HM Mc: The little cakes I ordered for Christmas were well-priced. I will be ordering again for future parties.

Anne Graham: I’m going to rate 5 stars despite the fact that the coffee machine was broken. Attractive and delicious cakes. Polite and friendly staff. Thank goodness I’m a local.😊🎶🌻

Their coffee and hot chocolate are very good, complemented by the real stars – freshly made croissants and other delectable bakery items. Sitting outside by King William Road is fun, creating a perfect morning brekky spot for bakery lovers. Convenient parking at the back makes it hassle-free. If you appreciate quality pastries in the area, MULOT is a must-visit on your list of French cafes.Parking: Small place with amazing bakery items.

Everything we tried was great and we would get it again.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp right through the front door with plenty of seating.

Matthew McLean: Hi management, can I recommend training the new staff on knowing the same price as the sign on the shelf. Tonight, I was overcharged, and your team member needed correcting. This happened another time I went in also. Both times, they refunded the difference, though it took a slight debate. You may need to identify a bum steer the new team members might be getting.

Cannelle French Pastries: what do users think?

CY Leow: We had the pan au Chocolat and the custard cornetiWill definitely be back !

Michael Dow: Continues to have great pastries with the new owner. Some new things are being tried, eg, the danishes have a clear jelly coating, which is a bit thick and so looks odd. There are some new products: a Nutella cream filled pastry, which has too much filling. If you like pastry cream you might love it. My kids were delighted initially, but then gave up on it and ate around the filling.

Brenton Collas: Croissants are back on. I had an average experience here after the change of ownership, but went past this morning and grabbed a couple of plain croissants. They were fantastic. Looking forward to returning for my croissant fix.

Karl: The Best Croissants in Adelaide! These croissants are light and buttery while also being flakey and the right amount of chewy! Many other treats in store to try also but for me it’s a classic croissant every time. Make sure to phone ahead if you want some because they seem to sell out quick!

Nitin Khanna: Great people and awesome food

Roma van der Walt: I rarely write a review just to counter the reviews of people who don't take the time to get to know a legacy business like Canelle. They sell the best croissants in Adelaide, period. Those who have been going for years or even decades, would have known that there was a change in ownership between parties that had been in contact for a long time and knowing that the previous owner wouldn't have sold to someone they didn't trust with their recipe. And with change, comes a bit of adjustment. The difference in dough was due to external circumstances and was fixed by the current owner quickly. If you take the time to chat with him, he loves his trade, takes it very seriously and spends hard working hours none of us would want to work, to ensure that his baked goods come out as close to perfect as possible. He shouldn't be negatively impacted by a one-off experience. But frankly, for those who aren't going back: More croissants for us!

Frank Sortino: I absolutely love Gico Eatery for breakfast. The dishes coming out looking so beautiful and vibrant every time. Not only does everything always taste so good but looks absolutely stunning as well. The eggs are always perfect, salmon fresh, the chorizo has a nice little spice and always very generous with the prawns as well. The little things they add make the whole experience so enjoyable. The coffee is great and the service is always friendly and efficient. I’m dying to try the seafood pastas here as I always see them around me and they look incredible!

Daniel: Have been a few times and never had a bad meal. Great variety of menus with really unique fusions. On this outing, the pancakes were presented beautifully and tasted nice, just maybe a little light on the pandan. The big breakfast was good but the fried eggs were a bit undercooked.Coffee was good. The menus are a little loved and hopefully will be replaced soon.

Cherry H: Lovely cafe on the east side that never disappoints. They have an extensive menu so there’s always something new to try which I love and great drinks! Pictured is the chili truffle scramble eggs, Japanese katsu Sandi and matcha latte. Portions are good value for money and most importantly, delicious! Always recommend to others whether they need a brunch, lunch, dinner or coffee place because they have it all!

Bill Quinn: One of my local eateries. I'm not a big visitor to bakeries and can't really comment on their range of products, but they do fulfill my basic requirement: a full breakfast that serves as breakfast and lunch in one hit. Very moderately priced and good value. I'm in there roughly once a week.I haven't tried this yet, but they're open several nights a week for pizzas OR you can buy the ready-made pizza bases.I have noticed while there that they're very popular for bulk orders of all sorts of baked items.

This charming little spot has earned a special place in my heart for its delightful array of delectable treats.Their selection of cakes is nothing short of impressive, boasting both flavor and presentation. The petite cupcakes are not only incredibly yummy but also aesthetically pleasing. The cute mini cup cakes come in many varieties. Alfresco offers a wide variety of delectable goodies that cater to every dessert lover's desires. From almond heart biscuits, almond flakes biscuits, and almond cherry biscuits to eclairs, profiteroles, macarons, and chocolate lamingtons, the options are seemingly endless. One standout item is their cannoli, a delightful Italian pastry filled with creamy goodness. The quality and taste of their treats are consistently exceptional. What truly sets Alfresco apart, in addition to their yummy treats, is their friendly staff. The warm and welcoming atmosphere makes each visit a pleasant experience, and the renovations done so much good to the store. Ambience is so good and spacious now.

John Bednarz: I was in Port Adelaide needing a coffee fix and was fortunate to stumble on the unassuming Mayfair Bakery & Patisserie cafe. My double shot cafe latte was of the highest order and I just could not resist sampling a homemade pasty and Belgian chocolate cheesecake which were just as impressive as the coffee. Rebecca Tompkins: A local pastry icon that is a little bit of Greece with every bite. Even the New York Cheesecake tasted like it spent a few days on the isle that is the store's namesake. Decent, rich creamy and feels like your grandmother's cooking. The decor is a loving homage Greece and the family history. Generations of love is in each bite. The flat white coffee was velvety and smooth. A fantastic pick-me-up. Be mindful that it's a small shop and can be noisy at busy times. There's alfresco dining outside. Right across the road from Drake's Torrensville, Kalymnos Pastries is a lovely place to drop in after getting your weekly groceries. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It was my first time ever today. I'm wondering why I took so long to visit. Food filled with flavour and heart.

Crisenda Casimiro: Pastries are good! Will definitely buy again. However, I was disappointed with the hot chocolate that I ordered. It didn’t taste like chocolate at all.. it was like drinking hot full cream milk 😅 so Im never ordering hot drinks anymore
