Kenny Wilson: A great hotel option with a unique experience being that you are situated in the building of the great sporting grounds of the Adelaide Oval.A short walk over the bridge takes you to Sky City and the beautiful North terrace with the river and parklands being close by also.We stayed in the Cathedral suite and it was brilliant. The cleanliness of the room, the additional nice touches and no expense spared options for the room, completed by the quality attention and kindness of the staff, all combined to a truly memorable experience.

Nathan Denton: What a gem of a hotel!!Valet parking was a breeze and the reception area modern and stylish. The excellent service begins once you walk in.We were lucky to have a cathedral view studio and it was modern and stylish. The bed is comfy and provided the best night sleep. We had room service the first night and it was delicious.The second evening we had drinks in the Uber stylish bar area and dinner at bespoke. The best food in Adelaide city! Breakfast also rivals similar hotels.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The room was comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The view from my room was amazing, adding to the overall experience.The hotel’s central location is a major plus, with Chinatown just a few steps away and plenty of food options nearby. Richard Cunningham: The Hilton is well located by the free tram that will take you to the city mall, stadium, art gallery, wine museum, and market etc. Perfect. The whole friendly staffing team did their job and each in their own way contributed to a great stay. The rooms, the food, and service was top draw. Roaming Bush Barbie: I wasn't particularly impressed with this hotel. The rooms are a shocker!!! Really outdated and unclean, certainly not a 5 star accommodation if the rooms are anything to go by. There are way too many staff at the reception but only one serving at a time so the lines go check in are long. Despite the staff being nice I found the $100 a night for bond off putting and I was super annoyed when I saw the type of room I got for that amount and bond. The location was great and the buffet breakfast was really delicious however I wouldn't be staying here again not for that rate or bond.

Bev Hanisch: Hello, we stayed here for my 70 th birthday. This establishment made my birthday extra special. I was treated with a bottle of Pinot noir and chocolates. The staff were very welcoming and our room was perfect. The bed was comfy and I will never get a comfy pillow so don’t expect this hotel to fix my problem highly recommend anyone stay here and thoroughly enjoyed the location and wonderful decor. The pool was fantastic—our 8-year-old absolutely loved swimming there! The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options. I had an evening flight and they helped me with a late checkout. The rooms are super clean and the lounge area is cozy and not crowded at any time during the day.I suggest opting in for the buffet breakfast which is made fresh and includes many options to choose from. I especially recommend their chef made omelette which you can customize.

Paul Goff: insist on taking a $50 charge is incredulous. To boot Ibis have failed to reimburse my $50 and if I hadn't have checked my credit card statement would have been none the wiser as I had swiped and checked out at the hotel and was advised that a refund was coming. The breakfast is overpriced at $34 and psychologically forces you to eat way more than you need to. And it doesn't even come with a decent coffee

Colin Fenech: Cosy, neat room. We found the bed comfortable. My partner was disappointed with the all in 1 shampoo/bodywash/facewash, but it didn't bother me. We had the special $5 / person breakfast which was well worth it. If it wasn't for that special, we wouldn't have had the breakfast at the full price. Parking was only about 80m down the road, which was handy, but unfortunately my car was damaged in the car park. I would recommend the Ibis hotel and would stay there again.

Gavin Day (GD): Had a major function here. Great location. They need to organise your bar staff and catering. The event ran out of coopers beer in 40 minutes. Then there was a shortage on other beers all night. Meals were excellent, though.A bit more training in table staff as they seemed to be disorganised. Alot of table service was missed.

Kit Busto: Overall our experience with the Pullman was fantastic. A big shout out to Christophe who was working as the concierge, funny, charming and an absolute gem. The rooms were modern and well appointed. On the first night we had an issue with the hot water but as soon as we told the front desk they offered to change our room but as we were headed out and didnt want to pack up again they sent a maintenance person who promptly fixed the issue. Jay K (Jhonny, Jono, Jay): This day and age I do not expect and am not use to waiting especially long check in and check out times, totally Bs do your job after I’ve left and don’t make me sit and waste valuable time waiting for you to check the room and how it’s been left. Certainly not the 5/6 star service we are use to!!For being brand new I would have expected more from pretty much everything except the view.

All the staff we interacted with were extremely kind and helpful, which of course made our experience really positive. Bronwyn Fabrici: Gifted my Daughter, her husband and their 3 year old a night at the Fire Station Inn. My grandson had the time of his life and didn't want to leave. We put out a great deal of fires that weekend! Such a unique and special experience for children of all ages. Would highly recommend for any families with young children who love anything fire fighter related.

Kezza Hub: Beautiful heritage site with so much to discover and there's even a full-sized fire engine in the room!! There's a full kitchen and lounge area in the open space area. A huge spa and two restrooms. Huge windows looking out to the street but with curtains that you can lower for complete privacy. You won't be disappointed.
See it: Awesome accommodation, close to the heart of the North Adelaide shopping precinct.Unusual offering of a restored Fire Station.Clean and well presented.Cafes and Bakery's are close for breakfast and lunch.

I wake up and go to Central Markets and find breaky before heading to work. The restaurant on the bottom floor is fantastic italian and I can say I have now tasted every pasta dish and they are A1 top notch. See you guys again in 2 weeks! Also the 11 market street Cafe had the best coffee I have had in a long time

You can really stay ‘in’ with the rooftop bar, all day coffee , bar and dining down stairs, fitness centre and pool and rooms to hang-out in. We just felt that the waiting staff were not on top of things, our breakfast and coffee was cold on the Sunday and breakfast order incorrect on the Monday. Breakfast was yum but not their specialty. Roof top ambience is amazing, cocktails were awesome and tapas. The interiors were so vibrant, quirky yet cosy-attention to detail was amazing with layered lighting and indoor plant boxes. It’s not too busy too.Safety: Quiet and safeWalkability: Great quiet spot with the ability to walk all the way to Rundle Mall or North Terrace or you can catch the tram both ways or either way.

Bread and Butter: Good business hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Windows open to a small balcony. The city is dead at night, so I could sleep with an open window even though my room faced the street. Free parking after 6pm in the streets around the hotel. The restaurant is only open for dinner from Thursdays. Didn't sample the breakfast but the coffee is good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I got a good rate for my stay, their rack rate is very high though. Booking direct through their website seems the best option.

Kathy Nygaard: For Mother's Day, my two beautiful daughters & families bought me a High Tea voucher. Their families also bought them one each, so we booked in today for 12noon. My first time visiting. What an amazing, beautiful place to have a High Tea, lunch, dinner or just a get together. Wonderful, well dressed, happy staff. We were taken to a warm pleasant room with an open window area. All rooms have a wood fire, so on this cold day, it was very cosy.Our food was presented beautifully & tasted amazing. The only criticism we had, was the thick coffee cups on a saucer was what we were going to drink our lovely tea from !! What happened to a china cup for tea ? Pots were also made of heavy pottery. For the price, it is good value but big points lost for this type of service. Must change for this high quality restaurant.

Our rooms were beautiful and included everything you would expect in a luxury hotel. But what made our stay stand out is the 5 star service from the Mt Lofty House team. The staff made us genuinely feel welcome and that they were keen to deliver the long weekend stay we wanted. Our stay started with Shaun from Reservations putting together a package of activities and bookings tailored exactly to what we wanted to do. And then these happened effortlessly over the weekend. Thanks Shaun, it was a delight to work with you to put together our weekend. We loved the hotel history tour run by Chris, make sure you take it when staying. Chris made us feel very welcome anytime we saw him over the weekend. Thanks Chris, we are big fans of the champagne cocktails! Our weekend included some time at the fabulous Gatekeepers Day Spa. Thanks to Claire for an outstanding massage, it was the perfect way to end a day after walking in the Mt Lofty Summit national park nearby. We also want to say a big thank you to the staff in the Piccadilly Panorama breakfast restaurant who are delightful and made sure we enjoyed the delicious breakfast each day and the staff in the Hardy's Bar and Lounge for their warm service and tasty dinner. Staying at Mt Lofty House is a must-do luxury experience with all that the Adelaide Hills has to offer on your door step.

I found them on a booking site and went direct getting a lower price and a mini bar bonus. Hard to beat at this price and we were there on the weekend when all on street parking was free/untimed. A charming small building built in 1908, featuring two dbl bedrooms, a lounge, dining area, full kitchen, bathroom with 2 person spa bath and free off street car parking close by. Paprika is set within lovely gardens, with outdoor seating and tables. The property oozes with history, speaking of the grandeur of days gone by. North Adelaide is a quiet, leafy and safe area from where to enjoy a stay in South Australia's capital. Booking in, accessing the property, finding nearby restaurants/eateries, all was easy. Highly recommend.

Definitely recommended and hope to stay again next time!

Jonathon King: Food was yum, had the wedges and chicken/chorizo pizza, while the base and toppings were both delicious, the toppings would fall off the pizza when picked up. Took about 30 minutes to get our food although it was a very busy Friday night. Staff seemed a bit confused as to where our table was, even though we ordered using the table’s qr code online order. The upstairs venue for a comedy show was spectacular, great seating and great vibe throughout the whole venue will be going back.
Tom Haslett: After a really long day working and attending an appointment we decided to drop in on the way back to the hills to check out the renovations that had been catching our eye for a while. We were welcomed by Bryden at the bar with a friendly smile, and given the option to dine for table service or just casually in the adjacent area. We chose the casual area. Food was great…chicken schnitzel and the wagyu sausages! Nice beer and wine selection, and a pleasant crowd of people dining around us, all cheery and happy. Love the way they’ve changed a lot of the decor, but kept a lot of the original charm in the place like the brick work and timber doors etc which would be a shame to fully change. I noticed the silver retro space age looking ceiling fans have been kept that I remember thinking were so cool as a kid years ago…The air movement is good as so many places are stuffy as these days. Looking forward to coming back to enjoy the new Sporty’s outdoor area when it warms up more..we are glad we dropped by! Cheers
True Talon: I stayed here for the Adelaide Knife Show in 2017, 2018 and 2019.While it can be a bit pricey depending on when you stay the rooms are great and the service and amenities are first rate.There’s a supermarket across the street, plenty of parking and taxis normally waiting at the door.It’s too bad the the knife show was moved from here as it’s a much better location than the Show Grounds.If I come back to Adelaide again the Arkaba Hotel will be the place I stay.
