Robby Kruyer: Quick ramble //Glenelg golf course was a ripper joint!When we rocked up old mate in the car park said gday and welcome to the club, great culture by the members!Pro shop staff were genuine good blokes, not up em selves like you get at some prestige clubs.Unreal beef sanga and the macadamia choc cookie was 10/10. Course was tough but mint condition. Layout was a bit dicey with tee boxes right next to greens but didn’t get sconed by a ball coz of the quick reflexes so all good.They just built a grouse under ground dunny on the course that wasn’t open but the Marshall let me sneak in for a looksy. Practice area was mint BUT Driving range ya can’t hit driver so couldn’t practice me slice. Brought 3 balls, lost 3 balls, found 2 balls so pretty good ratio. Drinks cart had suntorys and golf carts had speakers so all up she’s top notch! Only downfall $350 for the round was up there but our mate Wally done his back on the first and they gave him a refund so that gets my vote for a top club!

Ria may as well be telepathic because she was always a few steps ahead - whenever we needed her or had a question; there she was! She is worth her weight in gold. Overall: The whole team were amazing - everyone made sure the day went seamlessly ☺️

Matthias Simpson: Organised a bucks show for my brother and this place did not disappoint!! Excellent simulator, excellent staff and surprisingly excellent food. Expected very normal appetisers but the pizza and other food we got were terrific. We got a 3 hour package that included drinks and the pricing was actually pretty decent. The venue is also bigger than expected and the golf simulator itself was brilliant. A lot of fun was has and I’ve recommended this place to a lot my friends.

Tom Simpson: there is a reason I'd happily drive 55 minutes in peak hour to buy the weekly golf ball sleeve when just over 150m walk from my house gets me the same exact golf balls. But wouldn't go anywhere else the staff at West Beach put more effort and care into looking after anyone who walks through the door then anywhere in any industry I've ever experienced. Want a lesson? TOM BOND! Want a club refermished JAMES TREGENZA! Hard day at work? Literally speak to any of the staff for more then a second garrentee you will walk away feeling better then you did prior. Love the place!

As expected, the course was in very good condition. The fairways had an excellent coverage of grass with the ball getting that extra bit of roll. Greens were in excellent condition. Please read my previous reviews.UPDATE 10/9/21Spring is in the air!! Finally winter is behind us. A beautiful sunny day. The course was in very good condition. The greens were in excellent condition with ball rolling beautifully........... no sign of corella damage!! The bunkers were full of dry fluffy white sand……making it almost enjoyable hitting out of them. The fairways had a very good coverage of grass.We were reminded what a peaceful golf setting Willunga is. As usual, Peter in the pro shop was very welcoming. A Great day out…… We look forward to our next visit.UPDATE 23/4/21Willunga is one of best public golf courses in SA. The corellas were nowhere to be seen meaning the greens were in outstanding condition. The undulating layout has some challenging holes with strategically placed and manicured bunkers around many greens. Overall the course was in excellent condition. We were reminded of how peaceful the setting is amongst the gum trees.We always enjoy Willunga and is one of our favourites down south.Entertainment book discount 2for1 makes it excellent value. Concession card discount as well.The Pro Shop is very well stocked. Staff are always very welcoming.

Nicholas Upton: It was my first time playing on this course and I'm aware that they are prepping it for a upcoming tournament. However, if this is the quality that the course is at regularly then this course is amazing. It was presented so well, even the other people in my group kept commenting on how nice the grounds were.It's a great course for any level of player too. Fairways are decent size and allow a little bit of forgiveness for the slice or hook but still require strategic placements. Couple of greens that aren't visible at certain points adds to the difficulty and can really test your placements. On the day we went the greens were consistent which was nice once you got the pace right.Definitely will be adding this to our spring and summer rounds.

The Grange Golf Club has been very supportive of this event over so many years by donating their magnificent facilities and golf courses for this annual charity event.The Golf Course was in magnificent condition. Bunkers, fairways, greens and tee blocks were all manicured. We had a fantastic day on the course followed by a wonderful luncheon in the clubhouse. Well done to everybody.

Melissa Urzia: Breathtaking views, the best bed we've slept on in a hotel. Beautiful quiet location. Rooms were average, they could do with an upgrade. The sink in bathroom kept blocking up. The room was clean except the toilet hadn't been cleaned properly, which I had to do 🤮. We were only there to sleep so was tolerable.Disappointing that we didn't get fresh towels or a restock of soap for the time we were there. There's no turn down of rooms. So don't expect that to happen if you stay here. We had to reuse the towels over the three days, which was annot. When you're paying that kind of money you kind of would like fresh towels each day and even the bed made.The only other disappointment was on the Friday night we ordered takeaway pizza as we had driven 8 hours and tired and hungry. We were told 25 minutes so went back to room. When I went back I was told that I shouldn't have been told 25 minutes as he needed to get meals out for the golfers first. I was actually disgusted and let it be known, that we are paying customers so why doesn't that make us anymore deserving. He was apologetic, but still didn't change the fact I was told what I was told.Overall we had a nice stay besides the towels, soap and restaurant

Lachlan Gillespie: Had an absolute blast at this driving range! The calm and laid back nature of it was really great. Plenty of room for people to hit without being too close to others, plus you're able to buy tees from the little shop there. The distance signs could maybe do with a spruce up but they're still definitely readable so that's really all that matters. The staff who served us were super nice and friendly, just a couple of really good blokes. Plus the fact that you can buy a bucket of 150 balls it's excellent, most of the places I've been to only max out at 120. And not only that but the pricing is very fair. Had a wonderful time, will definitely be back again
