Adelaide Sewing Centre: what do users think?

Williampreet Dhani: Excellent service every time I visited the shop. Must visit for professional advise and reasonable prices for quality products.

Brenda: The old saying goes Mother knows best. Luckily for me my Mother knew Adelaide Sewing Centre and took me there to get started on my sewing hobby. I am so pleased!! I have been taught so much with kindness and patience, and become part of a community that brings me much happiness. Also, a friend of mine recently avoided spending a lot of money on a machine she would have been disappointed with, after I shared with her a tip Heather once gave me. She was very relieved! Having such wonderful people I can wholly trust to assist and guide me with all of my product, and machine, purchases and services is something I am always grateful for. Your beautiful business is a happy place for so many of us. I cannot thank you enough, Brenda

Helen King: Amazing place I get all my machines serviced here and have bought numerous machines from Kathy and Dave. Picked up another new toy last week. I can’t fault the service these guys are amazing

Christine Reich: The service I have received at Adelaide sewing centre has always been very professional. My sewing and quilting machines are serviced by David, and the quality of his work is outstanding. David and Kathy are a very supportive family business, and are a pleasure to know.

Glenys Elliott: I can always be greeted with a smile and get great help from Kathy and Dave and when I leave my machine for a service I know it is in professional hands with Dave.I thoroughly recommend Adelaide Sewing Centre to my friends and they always thank me for doing that. Keep up the great work guys a pleasure to shop with you.

Jacqui Hart: I love this business! Kathy is always so helpful and patient when I'm making fabric selections and I always end up with just the right thing. As a quilter I'm eternally grateful to David for his ready advice and assistance in technical issues, especially as the issue is often with the user! He has taken time from his busy service and repair schedule to follow up on my queries. Thanks thanks to you both, I'd be lost without you!

Jan Murfitt: Adelaide Sewing Centre is my favourite quilting shop in Adelaide. I have bought two machines from them and have them serviced regularly. Love their fabrics and accessories, bag making supplies and templates. Kathy is so helpful and Dave a wonderful mechanic and can fix any sewing machine on the market, especially longarms.

Kay Lovell: I have lost count of the number of years I have been dealing with this family owned and run business. I have bought several ‘high-end’ sewing machines from them with superb instructions and after sales service. Dave keeps all my machines in superb working order and notifies me when there are upgrades available, all at reasonable or no cost. This is my ‘go to’ place for all my sewing supplies, never stuck for inspiration or advice with any of my projects and wouldn’t take my business anywhere else. Thank you ASC, long may you continue to support my addiction!

Kay Calder: Over the past six years I have purchased three new machines from Adelaide Sewing Centre and had them serviced there as well. At all times I have received accurate quotes, professional advice and friendly service. I was deeply distressed to read the Tate’s negative reviews of this wonderful family business and strongly believe that this is an aberration.

Danielle Hodge: Great service both in the shop and of my machines. My go to shop for annual service of my pfaff and Sweet sixteen. Always get the assistance I need and my machine works smoothly after its service. Worth the drive down from Semaphore.

Heather Hopkins Quilts: Best business in the south for service and repairs! Wouldn't trust my HQ longarm or Husqvarna embroidery machine to anyone else.

Julia Mustac: If you’re after the best service and advice then a local family run business is always the way to go. Thank you for your expertise and knowledge. You will always be my go to store.

Sew Quirky: The team at Adelaide Sewing Centre have always welcomed me into their store! Helpful and beautiful people to deal with, plus a wonderful range of fabrics, patterns, machine quilting and bag making supplies too. ♥

Swarnjeet Aulakh: I got my first machine from them. Absolutely loved the service they provided from start to finish. Must visit shop for ideas threads and machines.

Baltej Singh: great range of fabrics, fantastic people. I always travel from North of Adelaide to get my machine fixed. I wouldn't trust my machines to anyone else! Thank you David and Kathy. 😊

MyGreenHippo: I have just experienced professional genuine customer service at it's finest, my Janome is now working like a dream the stich quality is so good. Customer service was exceptional with no hidden surprises or costs.Thank you to the team at Adelaide Sewing Centre for the care given to all my needs ill be back.

Margaret Ferguson: Mark and Allison are always so helpful and polite and a wealth of information. I really appreciate them.

Lorilei Bowyer: Extremely happy with their help. I bought a second hand sewing machine from an op shop and took it to Janome Sewing centre to buy the missing power cable. They supplied one and tested the machine, to find it worked, but motor was compromised and would die any day. The gentleman explained he rather sell me one of their second hand models instead of the $60 power cable for a machine that would die soon from the op shop. Absolutely wonderful in finding me a budget machine, and the ladies were so wonderful to sit down and show me how to thread and use the features. Absolute angels! I really need to learn sewing machines for my job role so their help was an absolute gift. Note: avoid sewing machines from op shops if pieces missing. Come here instead. Charlie and his angels work here!

Diane Southwell: Good sewing supplies and service

Caitlyn Wilke: Mark, Allison and the team here are absolutely fantastic. Really nice and knowledgeable in their crafts - happy to answer questions and help newbies out. The selection of classes they offer also looks fantastic. Highly reccomend.

They are the most lovely, happy and kind people and nothing is too much trouble. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Danica Patselis: Many people recommended this place to me and I can vouch for the rave reviews. Outstanding service, with genuine care and help. Supreme Quilts: what do users think?

Alan Guthrie: Absolutely love the doona and pillows that we purchased earlier this year. I cannot speak highly enough of them. They’re a bit on the expensive side but you certainly get what you pay for with these items. The doona is extremely light and yet extremely warm. If you do purchase them, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. We love them.

Kyle Hilgenberg: Awesome store!! They have the very best sourced polish goose down. Shane is super helpful!! I've been looking for a store like this for so long. So happy I found them!

debbie edgerton: Wow! Wow! Wow!Supreme Quilts feather & down pillows are of the absolute highest quality ... truly in a class of their own. I would never return to buying an inferior quality, imported, pillow from a retail store.Shane is soooo knowledgeable and friendly ... with excellent communication skills. For me, it is imperative that we support our local Australian industry ... and with a company like Supreme Quilts that take the utmost pride in the quality of their products and customer service; and operate with a level of integrity that can be a challenge to find these days ... I would't shop anywhere else for my bedding.Thank you Shane ... keep up the great work.

Sarah W: Wonderful discovery! I was looking for a light but fluffy quilt and found supreme quilts online and once ordered it was delivered so quickly, arrived well packaged and is so lovely to sleep under. Highly recommend.

Winnie Frances Li: is highly responsive and knowledgeable in the industry. Read his blog and/or email him if you aren’t sure what’s the best for you. I searched so hard to purchase a good quality quilt as I have just relocated back to Melbourne for good and having skin problems I cannot have heater on overnight nor sleeping blanket so I need a super warm quilt to give me a good night sleep. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quilt worth the price.Shane was also helping with delivery options so that I can be rest assured on safe delivery as I’ve had many incidents of missing parcels/chasing up etc from online stores. I always prefer to use small family owned business with goods that are personal and Supreme Quilts is the one.

Lucy Muldoon: Found Supreme Quilts around 6 years ago when I purchase my first Doona. As soon as it arrived, we put it straight on the bed, it puffed right up and I knew I had found a quality of buy! It’s super warm. I never realised the difference in quality and of course having a ethical made doona in Australia means so much more to me than something made elsewhere. I live in NSW but return mine back to Supreme Quilts in SA for a clean and a top up every 3 years, it’s worth the postage both ways due to the quality on the quilts and not to mention supporting Australian made and Australian businesses.

Joel Barton: pillows these are the best I've encountered. also the quilt is super light and suprisingly warm considering how light it is.super happy, will be purchasing from here again.

Broffa: Received our Supreme Quilt. Wow...is all I can say. Super light, warm and fluffy. Wish I knew about these guys earlier. I ordered the "Baffle Boxed Super King Size Quilt 95% Premium Polish Goose Down 4 Blanket Warmth". Great communication and fast delivery. Came boxed and bagged and I could immediately see the quality. Thanks Guys!

Mitch Kerr: The best quality bedding you'll find. High quality materials, very reasonable pricing and fast delivery. We've been using Supreme Quilts for our bedding over the past 6 years and won't buy from anyone else again. Please don't bother with the big brand names, they aren't even in the same league as what these guys will make for you.

Gail Field: Very happy with our new super king Australian made goose down quilt which we ordered a few weeks ago. Fast service and free delivery. Feels like sleeping under a cloud. Thank you

Simon G: super king. Best quilt we have ever owned. My missus cannot generate her own body heat and I run very hot when I sleep. Finally she can stay warm and I can be a bit cooler without sleeping with limbs stick out. It's not very heavy either. Our house gets down to about 11 degrees inside during winter and you wouldn't know it when you are in bed now. Highly recommend.

Sue D: Thank you Supreme Quilts - the most divine quilt ever made - I love it sooo much. Brilliant quality and service. Will never buy anywhere else. The ONLY place to buy a quilt. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Milorad Vranjkovic: Absolutely love my new doona, very warm and fluffy.

Weekend Food Escapes: was prompt in any questions I had over email. I particularly love his honest blog posts. You should google "box v.s channel quilts".I recommend! The delivery company Hunter Express took a little longer than other companies and their online tracking isn't as good as Australia Post or other delivery companies. However I've only ordered goods from other states, this was my first time from Adelaide so maybe this is normal for Adelaide deliveries. It was in transit for 10 days and it also takes 2 business days for Supreme Quilts to send off the quilt.

Michael Van Der Linden: Bought a king size quilt a couple of years ago and it has been awesome. Warm as toast on those really cols nights.

Matthew Paull: Beat quilts in the country at a great price and with excellent customer service.

Lisa Grayson: This review is in regards to customer service: I accidentally purchased a super king quilt instead of a king and received an immediate refund as well as an updated order. I received my product within two days and will review the quilt once I have used it. Thank you Supreme Quilts for such good customer service and refund policy it is very much appreciated.

Audios81: that was about the same the price but made in China of course. And isn't as well made or worth what it cost. Supreme Quilts have amazing quilts and although not cheap, they are worth every cent. Will be purchasing a two warmth one for this coming winter season. So impressed with the quality and attention to detail, will be ordering some for my family back in North America. So glad that these are Aussie made and Aussie owned. This was a major factor in my purchase, and the quality and personalisation is great as well. Will definitely recommend to anyone wanting or needing a new quilt. Happy to give my money to a family run business that makes quality, handmade items. Their website has so much great info to make your decision easier. I didn't realise how much there was to know about down. We got the Polish Down but the heavyweight one will be the Siberian Down, don't think it can be beat at any price. And having the ability to have my side warmer than my partner's is a godsend. Bought the baffled for the hot, humid summers we have here on the East Coast of Oz, but will be trying the channel ones for the winter weight. A must buy for anyone needing a quilt. Will happily purchase again and will be sending it to them for cleaning et cetera on it's due date of Dec 2023, which is handily on the custom tag on the quilt. Truly a world-class manufacturer of the highest quality quilts with the world's highest quality, and ethically sourced down, with many choices and price ranges for everyone's budget. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Jannatun Haque: Amzing product and service. You'll never regret this!
