Melissa Safar: Lovely gallery to visit. Beautiful Architecture and of course, great exhibitions. Plenty of street parking around.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

Katsuki Bakugou: Could walk around for hours exploring the art and still not get tired!Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait …

Graham Mylett: An amazing pact to visit. The Art Gallery has changed so much over the years, and the collections are incredible. Great accessibility too.

mandyGoTravelling: .The Gallery is renowned for its collections of Australian art, including indigenous Australian and colonial art, from about 1800 onwards. The collection is strong in nineteenth-century works

Jon Turn: Visiting this Art Gallery was a rewarding experience. The gallery houses an impressive range of artworks, with a strong focus on Australian art. The space is thoughtfully organized, and the staff are accommodating. However, some of the exhibits felt somewhat disjointed, lacking thematic coherence. The gallery's historical pieces are particularly noteworthy, but the modern art sections could use more context and explanation. Overall, it's a pleasant outing for art enthusiasts, though improvements could enhance the visit.

Wayne Hall: An excellent place to spend your timeVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

Eliza Conney: The gallery houses a wide range of artwork, from indigenous pieces to contemporary collections. The building itself is architecturally pleasing, and the exhibitions are well-organized. However, I found that some sections could use more detailed descriptions. It's a good spot for art lovers, but casual visitors might not find it overly engaging.

Rebecca Chaudhary: Easy to visit by tram and walking. Nice historical looking building. I saw the King Henry viii inspired gallery and it is beautiful. There is gallery shop. One note is the staff there wear suits, so you might stick out/ not blend in wearing casual clothes. They have paper maps of gallery available.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait …

Nicole Stewart: To my surprise, this gallery turned out to be quite remarkable. The collection featured stunning artwork in a variety of styles, from Impressionist and Dada to Chinese, Renaissance, religious, and contemporary. Two pieces that really stood out were the evocative horse corpse and the striking white room filled with red yarn. I thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

Tony “knucklehead” Storank: For me it was a reminder of how simple toys can be as special to a young child as any gadget you can get these days and imagination is wild in those early years growing up. I was envious of much of his collection until i found out he had a wealthy family that could spend big on gifts but by the same token shipped him off to boarding schools. Personally id rather play with dirt and stay at home during my formative years. Awesome collection and worth the trip in to see it.

James Yates: This is a must see collection which can only be seen by pre booking a guided tour of the main collection. However walk in exhibitions are held in part of the property. Currently a great, large display of toys from the mid 1800s onwards.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Jonathan: Great visit to the Australian Toy exhibition. Only open for another month. Don't miss it if you're a kid at heart. Beautifully presented.

CAT: Visited and saw an exhibition on quilts from war - in the old days regiments would take a tailor with them, and they and soldiers would occupy themselves by making quilts. Sometimes with chess boards included, to pass the time. Was a separate 2 hour visit to house available, need to book ahead for that oneVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

Lisa Joy: An exquisite home owned by the late art collector, David Roche. Tour guide, Naomi, was warm & knowledgeable in her description of David's life. Lisa Kieran: Totally OTT home and collections of a lifetime by a man who could do and buy what he wanted. And, lucky he did all that, so we could see it too 😀. He's still in charge - in the huge green malachite urn near the entrance!Too much to even begin to list the interesting and expensive pieces on view. Take your time. The exhibition in the "ex dog kennels" at the time was of quilting. Also very interesting.

anne simon: An absolute joy of a collection, beautifully curated and explained with great knowledge and affection on the guided tour. The individual objects are exquisite, sometimes quirky and often moving; and to see them so lovingly displayed in the home for which they were bought is a rare delight, one which will stay with you long after you have left. This collection alone is worth a visit to Adelaide.

Jeff Seydler: A beautifully restored building. Big nod to the National trust for their efforts for restoring this place to its former glory.

Leann Hammond: Went for a private work dinner. Great food and friendly helpful staff. Gorgeous old building and grounds

Arthur Hurwitz: .The lady who took us on the tour was knowledgeable, friendly and patient, and took the time to explain to us a bit of the history of this state and the man whose home we were touring. But all the staff are friendly and helpful and do their best to make one’s visit an enjoyable and satisfying one.We spent about an hour here all up and enjoyed the visit, but to be honest there isn’t a huge amount to see, and I wouldn’t put it on my must see list when in Adelaide, unless one has a particular interest in history.

Lei Jiang: Ayers house is one of the best historical places in Adelaide. The Victorian house is elaborate and decorated, all of the rooms magnificent and well preserved.

Courts Swan: My Sibling Had His 21st Lunch Here It Was Very Elegant And Relaxing .The Staff were Amazing ,I Definitely Would Recommend To Others

Courtney Barnes: Really enjoyed this little museum. Not large, and geared predominantly towards school-aged kids, I went as a solo adult and had a good time. Kind of a museum of experimental philosophy, in parts, but very approachable to think about our present and our future. Well done.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

mandyGoTravelling: MOD is opened by university of south australia and is a futuristic museum of discovery. It’s a place to be and be inspired by ideas at the intersection of science, art, and innovation.i quite like the displaying screen on the ground floor, you can see a kangaroo moving when you touch on the screen, such a lovely little interactioneven the content of this exhibition is a bit abstract though not bad hanging around and take a look, and you can also draw your own painting on second floor, do appreciate many little things here haa, good having many interactionsMOD.rating of mine: 4

Melissa Nguyen: Its a very fun place, its absolutely free to enter, its intriguing for both kids and adults to go here and have fun exploring. The technology is advanced, i remember I was at the top of the staircase and the chandeliers were reacting to the sounds I made by lighting up in different colours and patterns. I also remember seeing extremelt realistic well made replicas of human super organs that could help us adpat on other planets/harsh environments. I urge you to go this place immediately, its free, and its a fun way to burn the time while in the city. I heard the stations change every six months, so you may not see the things that I have listed. Have fun there!

Great sized rooms, outside chill out zone which is perfect when it gets a bit stuffy inside and also an upstairs section with lounges on a mezzanine floor. I heard mixed reactions on the venue before going for the first time last night but can honestly say it is a great venue and i thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Mario Soric: Nice old fashioned venue

Allan Briaga: Good venue.

Samantha Oerlemans Larmour: Love the atmosphere and real friendly and competent staff.

Georgina Norsworthy: Great venue, however should have used covid to upgrade the facilities. Probably wouldn't go again. Getting too old for that.

Aarati Thapa: It was great to travel and chill.

Joan Cooke: the show was very good enjoyed all the exhibits and demonstrationsthe rides were plentiful The attitude by Unley Council was disgraceful giving out parking fines giving people a short time to go and fro Will not park in this Council again Really spoilt our day with 2 parking tickets. Come to the city they say??

Shallyne Amdany: Beautiful experience I love everything 😍,have fun everyone can get something to do and enjoy

Greg Edwards: The show had a great variety of food. Pepperoni Pretzel, haven't had one in ages. The online only purchase of tickets, caught out a heap of people at the gate. Cash is still king.

From SJB: Cold. Wet. Me waste so much money.

Alessandro El Sharkawi: Love the vibes, perfect place for kids

Lisa Mann: Brilliant weather, fabulous day.

Emmy Silvius: My first show since visiting the Sydney show as a child. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed sharing the day with a young family and seeing how much fun they had.We went during the week to avoid heavy crowds. The only downside was the expensive parking, rides and food.

RAY r: It's a Big show. Lots of rides, eateries, entertainment shows, children's shows, exhibitions, shops and plenty to spend time for all day/night long. Ample car parking space available. Good Toilet facilities. Overall a good show to attend, although a bit pricey.

Kazarello: Love the Royal Show, very expensive though. Managed to spend $900 in 30 minutes! 😮‍💨 But was well worth it for the kids smiles.

Marilyn Reynolds: Another day with my cousin exploring the Royal Adelaide Show. Lots of laughs along the way.

Corey Smith: Certainly a privilege to attend Adelaide Oval to experience the atmosphere and respect paid to such a beautiful and historically nostalgic venue.I have had the absolute privilege of attending this beautiful venue over the years and also appreciate the respectful improvements over the years. From attending my first ever SANFL Game in the mid 70's where Westies struggled to get over South Adelaide, then to see the Great West Indies Cricket Team's of the 80's, the Televised Sheffield Shield Games where the TV Camera was at one end.Looking and sitting under the Moreton Bay Figs, sitting on the southern hill where Cornsey used that tree with the kids in it to kick that the goal against North.Watching Malcolm Marshall bowl at full steam as well as him dancing reggae style on the boundary at third man to the entertainment of our Year 10 P.E. class.Watching that infamous David Hooked Innings against Victoria and enjoying those Hotdogs from the old Caravans to the left of the Victor Richardson Gates.Seeing West Adelaide take home the Premiership Cup in 2015 after 32years.And actually experience the amazing "Never tear us apart " at the Port home game Showdown 😎Thankyou for the memories and the experience.
