Brenton “Wonga” Wight: Great bar, with an awesome vibe. Tunes are perfect for the ambiance levels and volume adequate to allow for easy conversations. Staff were very friendly and polite. It's always nice to be warmly greeted with a smile. Suitable for any age group and the art of cocktail construction is spot on. We only had drinks so can't comment on food.

georgia harris: Our bartender India was amazing with her customer service and the drinks she made. We had a wonderful evening sitting at the bar enjoying her company and enjoying the ambience. She was an absolute gun with making every drink as soon as the docket was placed in front of her and she did it with a smile and charm. Every drink tasted amazing and I could tell it was made with love. India kept everything stocked and could tell she enjoyed working in a team in a busy environment. Great place

Avijeet Sen: Visited in Sep 2024Made a visit to Hains & Co during my recent trip to Adelaide. It was one of the 3 cocktail bars I went to in ADL, the other ones being Maybe Mae and Bibliotheca. Hains has decent cocktails but nothing stood out for me personally. The Smuggler’s Soul cocktail was my fav among the ones I tried.Overall a decent bar which is worth a visit.

The restaurant Bread & Bone and Maybe Mae are located in the same building, expect that for Maybe Mae you go downstairs to the basement and then try to find the “invisible door” 🙂Ended up trying 4 drinks - Bill Murray, Corpse Reviver, Odd Company and Poolside. Every drink was really good. I’d recommend folks to try more stuff from their ‘Hall of Fame’ menu.This place is a 100% recommendation for cocktail enthusiasts visiting Adelaide.

We enjoyed a long lunch, selecting the ‘feed me’ menu, which allowed us to sample several shared dishes, which we complemented with brilliantly recommended wines and rounded off with divinely crafted cocktails. 2KW excelled in every aspect of the culinary journey, however the absolute standout was the customer service provided by the front of house team, in particular Lisa, who delivered outstanding attention to detail, expertly balanced with knowledge, warmth and professionalism. It is evident that the team at 2KW take great pride in their work, and this translates to a superior dining experience in every aspect. 👏👏

JONK3R: The main room hosts a large range of hard liquors, from your average whisky and gins to the pricier stuff. Plenty of seating options and service was efficient and friendly. The main room windows were open despite it being the middle of winter so we opted for the small room to the left which hosts about 25-30 people and was toasty warm. Crowd ranged from a handful of twenty somethings, but mostly groups aged 35+. Was a great option for a nightcap, but they’re not open very late being a hotel bar.
Fiona Nguyen: Best Passionfruit Magarita in town. Open late on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s nice to sit in the corner and look at the Victoria Square.
Zahra Sahara: The Collins Bar, situated in the Hilton Hotel, has hands down the friendliest staff I have encountered in a while. The ambiance of the venue is fantastic and you can enjoy stunning views of Victoria Square while sipping on your cocktail or beverage of choice. Overall, an amazing spot for a night out!

alec tibbitts: The crumbed fish was huge and luckily, I had ordered one piece not two. The other meals people at the table had were the Thai red curry from the specials, the crispy chicken burger and the crumbed prawns. All of the meals were good.There is a wide selection of beers on taps, as there was before the renovation. I’m sure there are plenty of other drinks available too - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.As for the atmosphere, since the renovation, pretty much all surfaces are hard and although it wasn’t that busy, the noise was overwhelming. The music was quite load and patrons were having to shout to be heard. It was the one part of the night which really spoiled the experience.

KURTIS SKUSE: The experience at The Howling Owl was incredible. Walking in, I was totally in love with the aesthetic of the room. It felt like a earth-bound, rustic bar that made you feel like you’re travelling in the hills and you stop by to enjoy the local flavour.The food was great! Ordered the Ham & Cheese sandwich and some drinks, enjoyed it through its every detail! It didn’t just feel like a regular sandwich, it was definitely made with passion!Overall great place, definitely recommend everyone to go here. Everything we discussed regarding the event was actioned. The staff on the evening were fantastic. Everything went to plan and our guests absolutely loved the evening. They were raving about the venue and 'the vibe'. The retro pieces of furniture and the cool artwork added an extra touch to the venue. The long bar bench was perfect for a grazing platter too. There was ample seating for those that wanted to chill out and plenty of room for dancing too. Every aspect of the venue and the event was perfection. Thank you Rachel and the team. Paulii: It's not often a themed bar gets it right but Bibliotheca is on point. It's a cosy, tucked away bar with a definitive library feel. My friend and I got a cocktail each, The Drink That Shall Not Be Named and The Golden Ticket. Both of these were incredible, as was the service. Our bartender knew her stuff and correctly chose our drinks to suit us when we asked for help. I also enjoyed perusing all the secondhand books on the shelves and the traditional green library lamps scattered around the room. Really want to go back with friends because this is a place I want to show off, especially as an avid book lover.

Then proceeded to literally throw the atm machine at me...this was after I interrupted her chatting with a colleague, a fill line of customers at the bar, my partner bought a beer..paid..then was told 'your welcome ' even before he had nano second to say thanks, with the implication that thanks was not in his dialogue. Sophie might be better suited further west...say Woolshed.
