Maria De Vizio: The volunteers are devoted and do a great job.

Jess riddiford: A beautiful area to bring my dog for obedience training. All the staff are so wonderful and patient and they all volunteer. There's a gift shop where they have hand picked ethical, local produce at wholesale prices.

Lofty a: Great space for dog training. Instructors are accepting of different training approaches and open to letting people find the style that suits them. A club that has been around a very long time but manages to present a modern outlook on dog training.

Sandy Andreopoulos: Thank you, Aidan, at ABT, for the excellent one-on-one training with our dog Winnie! Winnie is an anxious and reactive dog, so attending the usual puppy classes was challenging for us. While we've had great success with ABT's puppy classes for our other dogs, it wasn't as easy this time.ABT was very understanding and allowed us to transfer our prepaid fees to an at-home training session. This was exactly what Winnie needed. In just one 2-hour session, Aidan's positive and calming attitude as a trainer made a noticeable difference. We could already see the benefits! You were right Winnie was very tired after his training session. Highly recommend Aidan.

June Hamilton: My dog goes to ABT for Social Therapy, and he has responded so well to the Trainers', and the environment at ABT... He loves going to ABT, and gets excited when we pull into the car park, and loves everyone there... He is my rescue dog, and had very little socialisation & walking experience, but now, we can walk for half an hour, and he even walks like a normal dog now, whereas, he would constantly pull, and had no direction at all, but thanks to the wonderful people at ABT, he has come so far in the 5 weeks he's been doing Social therapy.. I am so proud of him... I cannot thank the wonderful staff at ABT, for their love, devotion and care of Nero... ABT was the absolute right place for Nero, and I cannot recommend ABT enough... They are the best.

Wendy Kelly: They are fantastic they definitely no what they are doing I have learned a great deal and my dog is getting better everyday It is the best thing I have ever done

George Rizopoulos: The team at ABT are fantastic. I have been using their grooming service for a couple of years and I must say Banx grooming has been great. The team do a wonderful job and more importantly they follow up with you to ensure that you are happy with the service provided and seak honest feedback on how there service was. More importantly take action to further improve. Well done and thank you for your service. Banx greatly appropriate it.

Yasmine Miles: My dog gets so excited when he realises he's going to daycare. Staff are friendly and the dog loves it

Ang Reid: Excellent staff and training.

Marie Smith: Amy was great. She gave me the tools I need to help my 8 month old male puppy

Pauline: Excellent caring knowledgeable staff

Victor Mambo: Awesome customer service and the best environment for any dog services.

Christopher watt: always a pleasure, Kole loves his day care

Positive Dog Training: what do users think?

alisha richardson: Attended Basic Puppy Manners with my Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. I have trained multiple dogs using various methods, but have moved to Force Free Positive only training several years ago after learning more about the science of animal learning, dog behaviour and the human animal bond. As a breeder and a veterinarian I was impressed by the up to date and scientifically validated training methods used, which were very clearly explained to the class and participants were given lots of one on one assistance and guidance if required. The trainers were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The grounds at Unley were pleasant to train in. Will certainly be recommending to my clients and puppy buyers, and will be back for the Adolescent Puppy course.

Marina Rositano: My 6 month old puppy has just graduated from Level 1 Basic Dog Manners at Unley. The sessions were well staffed and the trainers were very professional. The positive method was far preferable to my experience at other dog schools in the past. The group was also small, and there was plenty of opportunity to ask individual questions. The treats and equipment for sale each week was also very handy and reasonably priced. I'm looking forward to booking into the next level. Thank you Sharon & Team!

Evelyn Krull: Excellent trainers, relaxed atmosphere, great handouts.Highly recommended!

Patricia Ting: The ladies here are all very experienced in dog/animal behaviours and know what they’re talking about. They helped me understand both my dogs behaviours and root of their issues. I’ve got a super anxious cavoodle who was the runt of the litter, hand fed by breeder as his mom was short on breastmilk. It was understandable that he was more cuddly in nature and easily more anxious. When our new puppy a labradoodle came to join the family, it was not a surprise my Cavoodle started having resource guarding issues. Sharon and Asha gave us lots of tips during our weekly sessions as well as personalised advise/tips in our private one on one session. Our pups are getting along a lot better now and we knew what environment to provide them both with to avoid conflicts. My Cavoodle has successfully graduated from Level 1 & 2 Basic Dog Manners and my labradoodle has just recently completed Level 1 Basic Dog Manners. Highly recommend for new fur parents who would like to understand the psychology behind positive dog training.

Olivia Hume: My son and I learnt heaps from the girls from Positive Dog Training. Asha who was our lead instructor had a huge knowledge about dog training and gave us lots of useful advice and tips. Asha, Eleanor and Tilly were all lovely girls and we had lots of fun.

Bob Phillips: Seem Professional

Caterina Paola: We have just finished Level 1 Basic Training with our 6 month old puppy. We upgraded the course to include a one on one session.I would definitely recommend Positive Dog Training, everyone in Ashas team was so professional and we have learnt so many training techniques that have all been successful. They tailor techniques if a particular one isn't working and the one on one session was definitely worth it.We have now booked Level 2 and can not wait to continue our training as we find it truly enjoyable.

Georgia Foti: Both myself, my partner and our puppy Rufus have learnt SO much from our weekly classes. The whole team were honestly amazing, offering loads of support while keeping things lighthearted and fun.

Jessica Burgess: Absolutely fantastic training company. Their trainers are knowledgeable and helpful and always have an idea or two about how to help train even some of the more difficult breeds. Their training is all about positive reinforcement and rewarding desirable behaviours rather getting angry or using negative reinforcement.Definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a brilliant trainer.

Sean Lang: Asha and the team were very knowledgeable and committed to the learning and development of our puppy. Her communication was very clear and concise which meant for constructive and individualised feedback that helped us to train our dog very effectively. Overall, a very pleasing experience from a professional group of staff members.Positive Quality …

Amber Feild: Incredibly helpful and insightful. Everyone working is friendly, knowledgeable and, most of all, the training has helped my communication with my dog.

Steph Micallef: Sharon has been an absolute life saver helping us retrain and understand and beautiful rescue dog who suffers with anxiety. She has gone above and beyond to help us with tips and techniques to adjust to her new life, and with Sharon's help we know we will be very glad with the results. Thankyou

Karen: The instructors are incredibly patient and understanding, not only with the dogs but also with the owners. The training methods are clear, effective, and based on positive reinforcement, which make the sessions enjoyable for everyone involved. The instructors offer plenty of helpful tips and are always available to answer questions or provide additional guidance when needed, especially when dogs are struggling with certain commands or behaviours.Overall, Gepps Cross Dog Training provides a fantastic learning experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to strengthen their bond with their dog while learning valuable training techniques. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this club to someone just starting training or someone who wants to take their training to trials level.

Canine Connect: what do users think?

Patricia Woodward: Having struggled with 2 whippets with separation anxiety unable to leave the house Canine Connect has been amazing. Starting with regular Doggy Day School for months our dogs have learnt & still learning independence being away from us while at the same time learning obedience and becoming familiar with the boarding kennels in preparation for boarding in the new year.Next was 1 month board and train while our family was overseas. The regular communication photo/video and updates via email or social media made leaving them so much easier. Any concerns we were contacted asap, even just messages to say they had settled well and eating were so appreciated.Yesterday was our board and train handover , a big shout out to Devon & Shevi who have given us the skills to go away and continue what they have learnt in our home. Our dogs were happy to see the trainers. Our dogs will continue day schools as a regular day out & to become the best version of themselves ,to be happy and familiar when boarding needs arises.Thankyou Canine Connect & Hedgegrove 🐾🐾🐾🐾

sam gower: . If you’re looking for a place that not only has amazing trainers dedicated to the dogs development but are willing to give you the practical skills to work on the issues yourself.

Aishah Abdullah: Canine Connect have been excellent at assisting me learn how to best support Milly to be the best puppy she can be. Canine Connect staff are friendly, skilled and passionate about training dogs and their owners. My Milly has improved in her manners and walking on lead. She is still a pup - but I know how to help her be a "good girl". We benefited from obedience classes, dog day school and train and board services. Milly LOVES her trainers and it's easy to see they think she is pretty special too. I will continue to use their services. I highly recommend giving them a try, if you want good things for you and your furry buddy.

Barbara Whait: I attended a private appt with Shevi on 5/6/2024 as I needed help with my 14 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Darcy, pulling on the lead. He also gets over excited about everything. Shevi provided personalised one on one training with Darcy and myself for an hour. It was money well spent. I also received a very lengthly email full of training tips/videos. I have booked Darcy into their 5 week basic training course in July and then will book him into further training courses. Darcy is also enjoying getting fritz as his reward for being a good boy! I highly recommend Canine Connect. 100% better than going to my local dog obedience club

Darren Blythman: Very professional service. Highly recommend the team at Canine Connect.

Nathan Jones: Attended a session with Scott and found it very useful, we have since put some of the training suggestions in place and have started seeing results. Definitely recommend.

Felicity Partington: After my last attempt at adopting rescues - where I was winging something I definitely should not have been winging - and we all paid a big price for ten years! I was determined to start this new journey right, right from the start. Canine Connect was recommended through Scruffer Lovers and I decided to do a private session with a trainer and a Doggy Day School day to establish our starting points. I learned more in one hour with Scott and Chevie than I did in ten years ownership! Everything they said made so much sense and I have complete faith we could not have had a better start. We are signed up for the beginners obedience and I know my new dog and I will be building a really strong, positive connection! Absolutely loved getting Isla’s report card about her training sessions ant Doggy Day Care and the feedback showed the trainers had really taken the time to get to know my girl! She was tuckered out, but so happy! I love this philosophy and approach, CC has created something very special for dogs, and their owners. I’m so glad I found you guys and I’ve recommended CC to everyone!

Janine Mulloy: Our dog loves going to his mates at Canine Connect. They've built up a lovely trust relationship with fui, and we have noticed a huge difference in his behaviour at home.I totally recommended Canine Connect if you need help with anything, even if it's something minor

Pauline Williams: Ellie has been going to day school 1 day a week she has done 6 weeks so far. She is a much calmer dog and easier for me to handle.

Pam Howson: Amazing trainers at Canine Connect. Our rescue GSD has improved so much.We thought she was beyond help.Highly recommended.

J M: I recently used Canine Connect's services for my dog, and I couldn't be more happier. Their personalised approach to understanding my dog's needs was impressive and the team's expertise in canine behaviour made me feel confident throughout the experience. My team tailored the experience to ensure I could get a solution needed for my dog. Canine Connect truly excels in knowledge and delivery to help their clients. Highly recommended!

Andrea Luhrs: My dogs have been going to day school at Canine Connect for over a year now. They have just come home from a 10 day holiday at Windamere Pet retreat while I had surgery and focused on my recovery. While they were there we took the opportunity to have daily training with Canine Connect. Not only were my dogs in expert hands, they were given all the love and attention they neededMarie and Phoenix have come home happy and relaxed, and the photos sent during their stay showed how happy they were during their stay.Marie has always had issues with barking but since she has been home she has not barked at all, even when loud sudden sounds have been heard, thank you for working on this with her during her stay.Thank you for your love, support and expertise, I couldnt do it without you.

jo coffey: The staff are amazing and my Rottweiler pup just loves going there!Very knowledgeable and they really love our pets.

Jessica Cooke: My boy, Chaka, was treated well and with respect and care. The training type is FORCE FREE and a really positive experience teaching verbal cues and understanding of your dog.I am very impressed, when my dog seemed to need time and space to get used to his surroundings, that was respected and he warmed up by the end of class.Pats were welcomed but not forced.I will be returning for main classes and highly recommended Canine Connect as positive and caring dog obedience school.

Lisha Wang: My boy had 4 weeks board and train with Canine Connection while I was overseas and continued with day school every fortnight. He loves his trainer and to be there. He’s getting calmer and calmer and I’m learning to handle him better

Taylah: I adopted a rescue dog at 4 months old. He had a broken tail - and I don’t know much about his history. We began training straight away, and noticed quickly that Beani was very frightened and nervous in new environments, and when we saw certain people and dogs. After spending a year in a large training group, I decided I wanted some one on one time with a trainer which is when I found canine connect. We began with a private lesson, and now Beani goes to day school once a week. We are just about to start the OC&E class too. Canine connect made us both feel safe and “normal”, and like being reactive isn’t something that you need to be ashamed of. Since Beani has been attending, he is so much more confident and less scared, which means he is not as reactive. Beani seems to love day schools, I was very nervous the first time dropping him off but felt very at ease after receiving photos and a report card.Very positive experience and look forward to see Beani grow even more with their help

Pamela Judge: I had a pup who quite frankly was out of control and would not listen - all my fault by not realising that whilst my former pup was a joy to train at home this one needed more. Enter Canine Connect and wow I have a different dog - not perfect but nearly. She listens to me most of the time, she reacts to the commands she was taught in her residency of 20 days yet we still have a loving & playful relationship. I am forever grateful and recommend Canine Connect to anyone. Leave doubts behind Canine Connect 's programs really work.

Denali Dog Training: what do users think?

Cathryn Phillips: We can highly recommend Robin at Denali Dog training . If you have any doubt about anyone getting results with your dog Robin definitely can. She can pinpoint exactly where you are going wrong and how to correct the unwanted behaviour in a step by step fashion. What impressed us the most was we saw results on the day!

Daniel Pietka: Robin was incredible and a wonderful teacher for helping our newly adopted dog Max. We did a 6 hour session with her and the amount of things we learnt about and practiced was fantastic. She has a huge wealth of knowledge and was kind and patient with teaching us all the things we'll need to know to train our dog and correct his behaviour. In just a few days of practicing what she taught us, we've seen noticeable progress and feel confident in doing the right things to help with reducing Max's reactivity and bettering his impulse control, recall, and leash pulling. She's provided us with a library of documents regarding all things dog training for us to learn from and reference which we really appreciate.I highly recommend Robin and am so glad we reached out to her to help us out. We're looking forward to joining her group classes. The videos of them we've seen on her Facebook page look like a great environment to practice what we've learnt with other dogs and people present.

Lorna Rayner: Definitely got results with the training we received. If you want an intensive and comprehensive training session then Denali is the one for you.

Katrina Brink: Robin was so helpful, she was professional, friendly and a source of a wealth of information. We had an intensive 6 hour session as we were passing through the Adelaide region. Her guidance and clear instructions has given us a boost of confidence to know exactly what to do in all triggering situations for our reactive rescue blue heeler. After the session her support and contact has been greatly appreciated. We could not recommend Robin more for your dog training needs. We can’t thank you enough!

Phoenix James: Absolutely enjoyed our experience learning how to train Hugo whilst us ourselves also learning how to strengthen our skills and experience

Kiara Bellett: I was initially sceptical about seeking help from another dog trainer after I sought help from a "dog whisperer", who told me I should rehome my rescue pup, because she didn't respond well to intimidation/fear tactics and "alpha" behaviour. Thankfully, I tried again, and reached out to Robin at Denali Dog Training. Her generosity of time, ongoing support, enthusiasm, encouragement and thorough education of scientifically proven dog psychology has helped my pup and I immeasurably. When people visit us now, they say her behaviour is "comparitively, night and day". I am extremely thankful for Robin's support over the past 7 weeks, I hate to think where we would be without her. We will continue to work with Robin as we learn new skills but many of my concerns have already ceased/improved drastically.

Jodie Zimmermann: I contacted Robin to help with our reactive German Shepherd, unfortunately he had been bitten on a few occasions by off lead dogs while we were on walks.Robin has shown us techniques that actually work, and continues to support us as we need.We are seeing huge improvements that I didn’t think were possible!Thank you

Sandra Price: We contacted Robin to see if she could help us with some issues we were experiencing with our Labrador We we’re very impressed with her caring attitude & knowledge and loved the way her training was all positive reinforcement We followed her advice and put in the work & are now seeing the results

Sharee Hassfurter: Robin has been so helpful and non judgemental in helping to "Train the Trainers". Within hours we could see our little dog make those new positive behaviour connections! 😊 We are now armed with the right tools and understanding and so excited to see him learn!

vicki sandercock: What a difference Robin’s help has been for the dogs & me, changing the way I think. The dogs are much happier too, ok so adding to my review I’ve been using Robin’s methods, the change in all of us is wonderful the dogs listen more I respect them going inside as create & they only ever have to be called once or asked round the back / inside. When we have other dogs over I use ‘circle of friends’ this shows good things happen when they are here. Thanks Robin

Isabeau “Beau” Corkhill: Robin has been amazing with our American Staffy, she's taught us many different ways to control his reactivity and he's improved immensely.

Ian Colaco: Robin came to assist us with Zoe our 11 year old Havenese who was peeing in the house & had some behaviour issues.Robin spent most of the day showing us how to provide enrichment to Zoe stopping her from being bored & anxious. Zoe responded well, we learned a great deal & were given lots of tips on how to improve Zoe's behaviour. Zoe enjoyed the day as we did she is now sound asleep. Best thing we ever did just have to put into practice what we have been taught. Thanks Robin

Stuart Matthews: Robin has been really helpful with training our two mini poodles. We have done training before with other dog trainers but have not had the success that we have had with Robin's techniques.

Nicole McConnell: but most of the time she makes the right choice to come back. The 'focus' and 'look at me' commands I use to bring her attention back to me, not the potential situation that could turn bad. I have had so many comments from regulars up at the park that have said well done, as they thought that it couldnt be achieved. Persistance and consistency have paid off.**Update

Centaine Zalavari: Robin has been an incredible help with our 8y/o kelpie/border collie who we re-homed 2 years ago.We called Robin to help with reactivity/aggression towards other dogs. Her her initial consult was very in-depth and concise and covered a range of topics. We discussed diet, enrichment, doorbell training, meeting other dogs, dog psychology and breeding and so much more!Since then we moved houses and had new issues arise and Robin was a brilliant support with phone calls and email check-ins.We have been attending her dog classes and signed up for a second round because we just loved the routine, progress and enrichment for our dog!

Sharnie Patterson: I had a puppy that struggled with other dogs and humans and would become very stressed out and reactive. Not only did Robin spend over 2 hours on the phone to me first going over what issue my pup had, we had a 6 hour long consult and then a follow up 4 hour consult 4 weeks after the initial. Since working with our pup he is fantastic, no reactivity and even lives in peace with another dog with no issues at all!Robin is absolutely fantastic with the advice and documentation she provides and her teaching work and best thing of all there’s no dragging the dog around, showing him “who’s alpha” or anything negative like you see around on social media. It’s all based on positive associations and reward based training!I highly recommend Robin to anyone that is having any issue with their pup or dog! She’s 100% worth it!

Connor Townsend: So helpful. The tools and techniques Robin teaches are so vital for owners and dogs. Our dog struggled with reactivity towards other dogs and would often become aggressive. With Robin and the other dogs in her classes she has improved drastically and we are much more confident in walking her. She is much calmer around other dogs now as a result. Would highly recommend.

Johanna Allan: . We would highly recommend Robin for any issues that need attention.

Bec Roach: . We had plenty of practice time and Robin was exceptionally generous with her time and sharing of extensive knowledge. We feel confident with what Robin has taught us and know, without any doubt, it was the best investment we could have made for our puppy's wellbeing and bringing up a well behaved dog! Thank you Robin. We'd recommend you in a heart beat!

Marls McBain: Kate just has it right !!! Even after finishing puppy school, she was approachable to refresh some training issues. Have no hesitation in recommending Kate!!

Tegan Whalan: Kate is very knowledgable on dog training and behaviour, and is constantly updating her skills so she can best help her clients. DOGS ETC runs absolutely fantastic puppy classes, and also has diverse consult options for those needing help on an individual basis. I highly recommend DOGS ETC to the owners of canines.
