Mr Magoo: kind hearted people. They stayed open until 4pm on a Sunday so we could pick up our cat. now you're thinking... will they do that for me too?

Ean Ferris: Very helpful, and when I explained that I had had to euthanise both of my fur babies, the sympathy shown me was very nice, and that was why I was donating their blankets etc.

kevin mann: Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hendrix had only been home for an hour when these photos were taken.

Animal Welfare League SA (AWL): what do users think?

Dave Cole: Great friendly staff.Awesome place to get a fur baby.

BLACKNAIL Official: We lost our beloved boy unexpectedly and after almost a month, the misery of not having a dog in the house was unbearable so we went to the AWL and had the chance to meet Mavis. Paula and the other staff were lovely, all three that we dealt with were very nice indeed. We adopted Mavis and she now rules our home. Thank you AWL.

Karin Webber: Our dog has boarded with AWL twice now and will definitely go back again

mitchell rawlings: Got a cat, great place

Thuy To: The staff was very helpful. Susan answered my phone calls and was very pleasant giving me good advice on the cats

Emily Hossen: Super friendly, well educated team was happy to pair me with the most perfect little kitty! Was very thorough with all the information I needed to give my little one the start they need.

Amanda Jane: If only we had you in Port Augusta 😕 I do not know how humans have ANIMALS, and not ❣️ them ,Continually see this Poor Lonley Dog Daily in the Same Street ,Howling he's Skin and Bones wow breaks my heart .

Kerrie Jooste: What an amazing team doing truly amazing work

Luna Rose: . Could not recommend this place enough for pet boarding.

Michaela German: Myself and my little family adopted pearl from the AWL almost a week ago now and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made.I've previously adopted animals from the AWL, majority of my childhood pets have come from the AWL or have been rescued strays but I hadn't been to the wingfield facility for a very long tome and i was so amazed to see that the facility has had some major upgrades!!Previously all the animals were kept in kennels outside. Now the cats and kittens are kept inside in show-like rooms that have plenty of blankets, toys and room for them to play. There are two spaces where the cats and kittens are held which I personally think is such a great idea for shy or timid little ones like our pearl.I cannot speak about the dog facilities as we purely looked at the cats and kittens. You're no longer allowed to just walk through, their receptionist will take a few details, ask you to fill out a form and will organize another worker to escort you to the areas the animals are kept.We went in wanting to take a look at a good handful of cats and kittens. It was lovely to see that each animal had a miniature profile attached to their room explaining their personalities. The staff that escorted us around the facility were absolutely lovely, more than happy to answer any questions we asked and suggest animals we should look at after explaining what personality traits we were looking for as we have another cat at home.We were suggested to look at pearl and after seeing her and spending 5minutes with this tiny, very shy baby we feel head over heels in love and decided to adopt her.We CANNOT thank the staff at the animal welfare league enough for helping us find the missing part of our family that we never knew was missing.Pearl has been a wonderful addition. Both carts are still currently separated but we are doing slow introductions and they're begining to slowly tolerate each other. Pearl no longer hides when approached and can usually be found waiting by the laundry door for now. She loves to play and is the snuggliest little love bug I've ever met. Her purs are so loud and her eyes are so full of love. We're so thankful to have found her.

RSPCA South Australia: what do users think?

Christine Rivers: They accepted a kitten 😸 I had trapped due to its family coming to my yard. Have been unable to catch the mum + dad plus another kitten. However, RSPCA have given assurance they will accept them if I do. They intake staff were so kind to the kitten giving him veterinary attention straight away

carolyn mundy (Carol): The new facility is really fantastic. We went to see some particular cats we had seen on their website and we were able to adopt a beautiful cat. Our home is complete. Thank you, to everyone at RSPCA O'Halloran Hill.

john yates: It's about time.

Oliver Cornelissen: My daughter and I went to the new shelter to look for a cat for our family. We were welcomed by very friendly staff and received a tour around the new shelter. Dimitri showed us around with patience and after nearly giving up he pointed us to an older cat which wasn't on our list of favourites because of her age. How lucky we were because it was love at first sight from both sides. We have to wait for a few more day for a last vet check before we can take her home. Thank you for your time and help, we were impressed by the friendly new environment and how thorough and thoughtful animals get treated.

shane connelly: Amazing people doing an amazing job

melola f: was delighted to be part of a tour of the new animal care campus recently - it's a beautiful new facility, spacious and welcoming and full of calm energy. everything is so well thought out, putting animal comfort and wellbeing as a top priority.

Linda Porter: I love the new site, it's amazing

Hahndorf Interim Animal Shelter Inc.: what do users think?

Courtney Cram: great place to volunteer 💗

Bernie White: This shelter is run entirely by a group of compassionate, dedicated volunteers who lovingly care for abandoned and surrendered cats and dogs, relying solely on donations to operate. If any animal isn't adopted for some reason, they have a home here for life, if necessary.I've witnessed interactions between a couple of German shepherd sisters and the staff - these darlings clearly adored the people caring for them and giving them lots of TLC.Please consider adopting from this shelter if you are looking to bring a pupper or kitty in to your happy home.

Jagmali: . She is microchipped, tattooed, vaccinated, wormed and had flea treatment. There is even a two week trial period to make sure you and your fur baby are well suited. Please support this wonderful shelter as we will be from now on.

Kate Abrams: Puppies galore

Deb Jones: Very sad at needing to surrender our dog 🐕 😔 BUUTTT the owners made me very at ease and quite comfortable at leaving her there 🙃 Thanku guys
