Nineteen Ten: what do users think?

Lily Matas: Nineteen Ten in Adelaide's CBD is an absolute delight! As a retired hospitality worker, I truly appreciate seeing staff who not only enjoy their work but also create an inviting and positive atmosphere. Tom, who served me, showcased exceptional bartending skills along with a friendly smile and charm. The burlesque show was fantastic—engaging and interactive, which really enhanced the excitement of the evening. As a lover of dance, the performers personally convinced me to try burlesque myself. Their energy and charisma were truly inspiring, and their performances left me eager to explore this art form further. The surprise of a rooftop pool, used creatively in the performances, added a unique touch. The live music was lively and fun, with audience participation encouraged, which made the experience even more enjoyable.Plus, the luxurious lift to the rooftop was a nice touch that set this venue apart from the usual. Highly recommend Nineteen Ten for a memorable and fun night out!

Tiago Nogueira: Atmosphere: 5/5

Lorraine Brougham: My first visit was a beautiful atmosphere. Staff extremely friendly.Parking: Car park across the street. Very convenient and felt safe.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift to the top floor suitable for wheelchairs.

Dylan Cook: Went tonight for a fringe show and have to say it exceeded what my wife and I expected.Great service, wonderful gorgeous staff and a great drinks menu. Classy establishment and we would happily spend a Saturday night there.

sandra harris: My son had his engagement party at 1910 . Wow the staff were so lovely. The food which was finger food which keep on coming and was tasty. The children played in the pool while the adults chatted . Everyone had a great afternoon party and I really recommend this venue tucked away private and fun

Bec M: Coolest venue in the city! Been a couple of times for the Burlesque Saturday nights, and loved it both times. Great roof top views, an intimate seating area around a small swimming pool, lots of attention to small details, exceptional table service, great cocktails, including pacers and mocktails. We definitely plan on making it a regular haunt!

Christy Gower: Always a fun night at nineteen ten, great resident dancers. The speciality shows are always amazing with talented performers. The cocktail menu is always changing and they're always a hit. Inclusive entertainment where you can come as you are and have an awesome night. My absolute favourite venue in Adelaide for after dark fun 😍Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift

Duncan Bainbridge: Great live music venueAtmosphere: 5/5 …

Isabella Rose: HOMECOURT AND DAINTY MORSELS AND DANDY BUZZKILLS AND BADLAND CARAVANNNN

Emma-Lee Steer: as a white girl tourist this is the best club i’ve ever been to in my life. We knew every single song that came on, there was enough space to dance properly, cheap drinks, the entire movie of camp rock was the only visuals on a projector at the back of the stage. 10/10

Luke D: Was not playing Jive tunes

Chantelle TW: I love Jive. drinks are reasonably priced, lots of seating, lots of standing! when there’s a good sound guy you’ve got yourself a little haven for live music. a great intimate venue. nothing better. cheers guys

amelia joanne: the vibes here are so cool, really funky interior, plus when i went they had adelaide hills cider on tap which is a biiiiig yes from me

Melissa Herraman: . Left the early morning and got to start of my 31st, I felt safe there and that is saying something since I have anxiety and trust issues. The atmosphere is wonderful especially the dancers and DJ. So worth going here!

Annabel Smith: Inclusive environment everyone looks out for each other the staff and security are friendly .The queens are really lovely to talk to and the numbers are exciting to watch . The only down side is the floor is sticky but you would expect that for a club.

Laura: Very sad to see you guys have closed. So many memories at sugar. xx

Mel Hoo: Bouncer here was great and very friendly, the club was actually clean which seems to be rare in Adelaide, even the toilets were too which was great. If you like a disco vibe the music and lights are great. However the bar tender told me he could only do red bull and Malibu. But overall was a great club!!

Gypsy Lee: . However we went last night and the security on the door was horrible. I know this may not be sugars fault but I find it really disappointing. Unfortunately our friend who’s come all the way from whales was refused entry because his id photo looked “about 10 years old”. Mind the fact that he is 20 so I don’t think his id makes him look 10. And wasn’t an “Australian id”. I don’t see how you can be refused because your id photo looks too young especially “10 years”. Actually a breach of the equality act from 2010. Anyways girl doing the entry was lovely, and cheap entry 🙂

Coleman kain: Don't remember enough to review. Guess thats a good thing

Filip Kaličanin: Since i saw all the european and american artist this club brought to adelaide i have to say that you guys here need to be more appreciative cause this is an elite selection of music artists, the crowd was too small the other day i guess adelaide people dont have elite taste.Club looks nice with funny small balls pool tables. 8bucks for gin and tonic not so bad, i guess other prices are ok too.The only thing is the sound, its kinda bad, they have funktion one but it is either too old and dont produce good sound anymore or somebody need to adjust the amp.

Second Hand Fat: Emil is fun

Eric Marschall: Broadcast are phenomenal! In the age of mass media, corporate shills, and the ‘elite’ trying to run Adelaide’s live music and bar scene, Broadcast is a venue that still values the ‘little guy’. Up and coming bands call this place home, so you should as well!!

Propaganda Adelaide: what do users think?

ALICIA Sullivan: The staff were friendly, cocktails tasted great. And it has great decor.

Kyoko Davies: Today we celebrated our marriage lunch with friends at the Propaganda Adelaide. We had the 5 course express lunch with 14 people and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff members made our stay a very cherished one with their happy faces and superb attitude. I would highly recommend the propaganda for a visit. Thank you so much to the staff and we will definitely be coming back. 5 stars from us

Simon J: Wonderful food decent service

Michael Thomas: The food and service was amazing, as well as seriously great cocktails. Also, shout-out to Michelle for making a birthday dinner feel very special, thanks again

Carynn C: We visited this restaurant after hearing about their weekday lunch special for $20pp and we were not disappointed. Oysters, silken tofu, deep fried betel leaves stuffed with prawn, 120g steak with wine sauce and a lovely lemon sorbet with mango purée. This special is only applicable for Monday-Friday 12pm-3pm. Quiet place as I understand it recently re-opened. Would love to see how this restaurant will develop under new management. If you are in the city during lunch on a week day, pop by and have this lunch special.

Helen Marjanovic: The place to be, day or night, can not fault it. Food is superb, cocktails are to die for, the staff are unbeleivable. More than 5 stars.

Sandra Brewer: Skeptical at first due to the set menu but very pleasantly suprised. Fantastic food, drinks and service. Could not fault this place at all. As a group of work colleagues out together we had an amazing time. The female toilets were equipped with fresh flowers and beautiful hand wash and lotion. You will not be disappointed.

Sabine Kloss: A true hidden gem in the heart of the Adelaide CBD! We stumbled across this treasure by accident last night and could not fault it in on any level. Amazing decor with a funky feel and a divine wine and drinks list. The food was amazing in both taste and presentation and staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Definitely on my list of destinations fro Friday night drinks after work and a girls night out.

Georgina Burns: Great cocktails, good restaurant menu, fancy decor.

Aiden Hiew: My new favourite bar in town ...!!!

Nick D: Awesome fit-out, good food and drinks served late.

Pole Position Entertainment Venue: what do users think?

Tom Arthurson: It was on my mates buck show on Saturday night and it was an amazing experience I went to. Great place both inside and outside and the ladies were amazing performers and they were kind, sweet, fun to talk to all of them. I will never going to forget the night that I will remember.

Kosta Tyhalas: Great entertainment precinct, spacious atmosphere with cheap drinks with a easy to access smoking area, exotic adult entertainment

Suzie T: Great atmosphere, both the girls and management/staff were very warm and welcoming.. thanks for a great nite!

Dark Blue Diamond: came up to where I was sitting and said she remembered me from last year. She asked about the things we talked about last year.

Elliot Shaw: Excellent establishment and well looked after by the staff

2bUnique4u: I went there for the first time last night to play poker, what I found was exceptional, the women where really great people, the type you would want to be friends with outside of the venue. There was no pressuring , unlike other strip clubs. And so I got a few drinks, played poker, and made some great memories. I would like to go there again, I'm better for meeting all these people. Drinks, smokes, people, beautiful women, good music, affordable prices, what's not to like?

S.B “Sparklegirl” Diamond: Went first time last night. Was my partner and my 4 yr anniversary. Girls are natural and so friendly. Had a table dance. Reasonably priced. NO COVERCHARGE. We look forward to visiting your establishment again soon.

Keir Aas: The best venue in Adelaide.

Craig Holer: A place that I would visit often in years gone by.

BangDroid: Been here a bunch of times, but never eaten, always have a few beers. Great price on jugs. Nice watering hole.

Brad Chadster: This is a decent bar with lots of seating, so it is good if you have a bigger group. Drink pricing is pretty average. They have a pool table, and there's also a big gaming room. Staff are friendly as well. Overall, it was a good experience.

Trisha K: Great atmosphere! Awesome staff and comfy couches. We've been a few times and love it!

Karlie Hensel: Great open mic comedy show! Happens every fortnight. Great staff, food and drink prices

Sa Santos: Spacious, friendly staff, and good food/drink options.

Paul Whitbread: The stench of misery has finally gone. It now has a more much nicer aroma.

Janet’s Journey: Staff friendly and service was great. Food was good and the wines and beers are cheap! The duck pizza is a favourite for cheap pizza on Fridays. There’s hump day specials with Wing it Wednesdays, 50c Buffalo or Honey Soy Wings.Plus all day every day is Happy Hour.Ample space, couches for mingling, quick pool game or pin ball machines, or there’s pokies in the back room.

Jason Buckley: Great cold beer and bar snacks.

Black Bull Hotel: what do users think?

Craig Matchett: place in the heart of Adelaide. Service was great. Pizza lovely, steak 100% tasty! The bar man forgot to put my order through as he thought I was waiting for my wife

Carmel Slice: An evening at the Black Bull—where good times and hearty meals abound! Booking ahead is wise, for this place draws a crowd eager for its delights. Now, onto the stars of the show: the steaks! Two brave souls tackled the mighty 500-gram steaks, while a third dared to conquer the legendary kilo steak—all cooked to perfection, fulfilling carnivorous dreams with every tender, juicy bite. And as if that weren't enough, desserts beckoned, providing a sweet finale to an evening of culinary conquests.Throughout it all, the staff's warmth and friendliness added to the charm, ensuring your dining experience was as delightful as the food itself. So, mark my words: a return visit to the Black Bull is not just a suggestion—it's a delicious promise waiting to be fulfilled!

David Gameau: Ordered beef parmy made with a bolognese sauce and cheeseFantasticRump steak cooked perfectly. Vegetables were a surpriseRoast carrots and parsnipsbroccoli and zucchini with a slice of red capsicumFantasticRecommend the mealsAlso, nice thick napkin was great. Not a cheap paper one 😊👍🏽

Soo Hin Yeoh: The site dates back to 1838 and is also known as oldest hotel in Adelaide but we were here for the steaks 🥩 and pale ale 🍺.Over the past 3 years, Chef Jacob van Eyk and his team have created a wonderful culinary menu of modern Australian grub and serve quality steaks! Love the steaks 👍🏼

Ian Stevenson: Great fun! Everyone there had a blast

Janaina Carvalho Lopes: Awesome place! I felt like a rock star!! The stage is very cool and modern!! They also have some music instruments to make more fun! The place is nice and modern with a fun decor! Service is very good and the staff is nice and happy. It is a small place but with lots of seating area in the balcony. The music menu is out of the internet so you can sing almost anything, even in other languages. They have a tablet available so you can search and pick your song. Had a birthday party there and everybody loved!

Tony Hubb: A great night out: singing and having drinks with friends.

Cheryl Monkhouse: Had the best time there the other night! The staff are great and the song and drink selection solid.

The Dog and Duck: what do users think?

Celina Taylor: Service: 5/5

Val Kraken (ValKraken): I had a really good time here. High quality setup and the DJs really be looking into the audience to vibe the interaction and play off them. Whirlwind of synergy between the dj and listener. I'm pretty sure they have a person constantly viewing the cameras outside to see who is "acceptable" to go in here. Guy wasn't let in because of his mohawk? Thought we moved past this nonsense as a society? Maybe miss read the situation, but that's what it looked liked eeek

Ben Allan (S!rum3n): Really glad to see the ol Dog & Duck get a fresh update with the help of Fabric! Really liked the layout and look of the place! Very nice bar and door staff who were having fun and making the vibe really nice, and drinks were ridiculously well priced across the board! Music could be a little bit more innovative or different, it really feels like Woolshed or Cherry 2.0 instead of sticking out like Dog & Duck did, but it’s mostly good!Only real issue I have is the security, who get a bit aggressive at times and take away from the atmosphere. I was pretty tired after having a good night of drinking, and took a nap on one of the couches on the main floor to take a break, only to be woken up very aggressively by a security guard and escorted out as if I had gotten into a fight. I do understand that there were a lot of people there on the opening night but it would be nice if the security could respect those who haven’t done anything wrong and be more polite in asking them to leave if necessary.Besides that, really good place, nice to see the revamp be so successful, hopefully it lasts! Will definitely be coming back - albeit wishing that some elements were a little more improved!
