Haigh's Chocolates + Factory Tours: what do users think?

Jeanette Williams: Great local company producing yummy chocolates 🍫 😋

Kara: What a treat it was to visit Haighs for the factory tour! We found the history fascinating and our guide was excellent at telling the stories. All the handmade chocolate is produced right there in the factory…It was so fun to watch the chocolatiers and their amazing craft! At one point one of the lovely chocolatiers pretended to throw a piece through the glass which I pretended to catch and it made my day!It was certainly a wonderful and wholesome experience. There is a free taste testing for everyone on the tour too! Highly recommended for anyone who loves chocolate.

Antony Jackson: Recommended dishes Chocolate Frogs

Ann Page: I have been buying chocolates here for many years and they really are very good. However, with the increase in prices over the last couple of years I don't buy as many as I used to do.Service: 5/4 …

Sandra Moyo: Excellent place!Completely loved the gluten free waffles.Service was perfect, can't fault it.Great ambienceWill be back again!Dietary restrictions: They accommodate for every dietary requirements

Carole Crabbe: Great products and friendly efficient staff

Tony Sander: was offered exactly the same pair as me, so I'm not sure exactly how "expertly matched" our chocolates actually were. That being said, the chocolates themselves were superb.Probably a little too decadent to visit regularly, but great for the occasional treat or when one wants to impress a date who really enjoys their chocolate

Tiana: This place is my absolute FAVOURITE! Part of me doesn't want to give them a good review so that it doesn't get too busy because they are incredible!! The food is fantastic, the staff are just as amazing.Apple crumble waffles - MUST HAVE.The hot chocolate - perfection! Will I be returning? Absolutely!

Jami Bennet: Recommended dishes Cacao

Andrea Wijeweera: Heard so many good reviews that we decided we needed to try it although we were super stuffed already. This place did not disappoint. Some of the best hot chocolate I’ve had in awhile. It was rich and decadent, absolutely worth the wait. We tried the Aztec and Salted Caramel hot chocolate. Super yummy and hit the spot during winter. We also went for the chocolate pairing, which was fab. We ordered the Ben waffles as well. The waffles we crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Paired with the ice cream and chocolates, it is definitely a chocolate lover’s heaven 😍.

Rory: This place has a delicious assortment of chocolate, but you should come here for the milk hot chocolate drinks. They drizzle real chocolate over it, and in the bottom of your cup - providing a decadent, creamy drink. The reason I took a star off, is the drinks are only good when the management team make them during weekdays. The weekend crew just powder the top and no chocolate inside, so not a good drink.

Vee S: Came in from the cold with my young daughter and was surprised to find an adorable cafe behind the petition. Lovely vibe - the staff were all super lovely and helpful. Service was also very prompt. Price was reasonable. The babychino + chocolate bar combo was a winner for my daughter and I found their hot chocolate the best I’ve ever had. Cannot fault this place. Extra bonus that it is an Australian company. We’ll be back.

Loi Jaryn: ! She was behind the counter when we entered and shared her favourite chocolates with such enthusiasm!Service was beyond excellence and chocolates tasted amazing. Highly recommended!

Steven ter Horst Chocolatier: what do users think?

Sky: This place is a hidden gem 😘😘😘 Cheesecake was sooo good 😊

Hanmo Li: Desserts at @steventerhorstchocolatier!.Soft serve ice cream: vanilla flavour with honeycomb topping. The texture was more like a sorbet to be honest. Not so creamy. Still nice though!.Basque burnt cheesecake: original and chocolate flavours - they're good, but not quite as good as the ones from the actual Basque region. They were creamy, but not gooey and soft enough..Iced chocolate: this one is a classic, and it's always good.

Mili: Absolutely delicious desserts! Love the chocolate cheesecake

josephine hickman: Delicious cakes and eclectic variety of hot beverages. The front man was incredibly charming and hospitable with a good sense of humourLove this place !Thankyou very much 🤗🤗

Cadimi: Chocolate is their signature products. However, the thing we love most in this place is baked cheese cake 😁 The best bake cheese cake in the town. And it is always the cake we order when coming. We also tried the seasonal cake in the picture. It was so great as well! Love the place and its environment.

Lydz Stalks: I went here with my sister for a tea and ended up with desserts. The passion that the man behind the counter had with his desserts was awesome, he made me want to try all of them. We had tried 4 of the cakes and every single one, was delicious and looked amazing. The basque cheesecake was really good, it had a texture that i have never experienced, sort of a creamy smooth, melt in the mouth, yummmm.

Jessica C: Love this place!! Honestly the best chocolate and desserts in Adelaide! Try their soft serve, Basque cheesecake, salted caramel tarts, and whiskey salted caramel domes! It's all so good! Lovely atmosphere! A regular spot for us!

Sue D'Amato: Fantastic

Choc Giraffe: Delicious!!! A great way to end a lovely evening out .

Jay Jones: The most beautiful chocolatier I’ve come across in Adelaide. Decor, music and service compliment the extensive and intriguing chocolate selection. Perfect place for a hot chocolate on a winters morning, highly recommend.

Simon Black: Wow if your a chocolate lover this place is heaven in Adelaide. Definitely made with love. Steve works behind the scene and also front of house a truly hard working top bloke.

Sean Higgins: Devine chocolate and coffee

Hahndorf Hill Winery: what do users think?

mandyGoTravelling: such a lovely place for us tasting wine and cheese, very delighted experience we have, all staffs are friendly, helpful and smiling haaa, it makes the whole experience even delighting yayaya, also Hahndorf Hill winery is pretty beautiful wine planting garden, having a mass of greenland, but sadly we come here in wintertimeso you can’t see the grapes on the land but just the plantwe order a glass of Green Angel Late Harvest Gruner Veltliner, recommended by a lady, and this one didn’t dissapoint us haa, instead surprising us in very good way, it tastes sweet but more than sweetness the flavor is complex, after we trying a glass and we buy a bottle, seriously quite attractive and perfect one for us for its sweetness as a non-wine fans haaacheese platter including four cheese, blue cheese, cheddar cheese, goose cheese and one mixed flavoring cheese, blue cheese is coming with the sweet ginger, and you will get some almonds on sides, enjoyed the cheese platter so much with Green angel haaaThe Hahndorf Hill Green Angel Grüner Veltliner Late Harvest 2021, described by the judges as 'delicious', won three trophies, including Best White Wine of Show and the competition's top honour, Wine of ShowThis deliciously delicate late-harvest wine gets its name from the Austrian word 'Gruner' which means green. The grapes for this wine are allowed a very extended period of ripening, during which the berries shrivel and therebyconcentrate the flavour, the sugar and the natural acidity.Since the climatic conditions required to achieve this are quite specific, this wine will only be made in exceptional years. The juice is fermented till the desired alcohol level is achieved, leaving a residual amount of sugar in the wine. This residual sweetness is kept in balance by a high natural acidity. The rich yet delicate nose is layered with spice, lemon zest, poached pear and meringue. The palate is unctuous yet lively with fresh citrus, delicatepoached fruits, white pepper and a lively long tail.Perfectly matched to your favourite dessert, all chocolate and a runny, ripe brie cheese! This wine will age and develop well for 30 - 40 years.so much fun today in the wine tasting and with many beautiful photos haaa, as first wine tasting in a winery, it’s such a great experience yaya, to be memorized haaaHahndorf Hill Wineryrating of mine: 5**

sydney goatcher: I did the ChocoVino red duo and absolutely loved it, the fortunato No 4 Dark was my absolute favourite! We also got the cheese plater which was excellent and a couple more samples of wine, my favourite being Zsa Zsa Zweigelt. Our server Kate really elevated our experience and overall made it an unforgettable visit!

Laura S: I highly recommend for the beautiful scenery and the wine is grown how they do in Austria so it is quite different to anything I have tried before.I did find the white wines to be more atringent and not mature enough but the reds had beautiful flavours. We ordered a few cases of red wine for delivery at home. The wine tastings are a bit different to back home in WA. You do not get discount or free tasting when you buy a bottle or case. I feel they would get more people buying the wine if the tasting was free when you spend X much.Overall I can not complain. The staff were knowledgeable and a must stop in Hahndorf.

Sarah Morales: It was an amazing experience. It's very small and intimate in the best way. The staff we all so kind and knowledgeable. Having an option for chocolate pairing was so unique and fun.

Liv Eldge: The scenery was gorgeous and the staff were fantastic, friendly and kind.A big shoutout to Kate. She was happy to help when one of us asked to switch out a wine.Outstanding customer service. Will definitely be going again.

Anthony Rix: Fantastic Wine and Chocolate Tasting, and spectacular Cheese Plate to top it off! Excellent Service too!

Anil Goudar: Great choice of Austrian wine selection and testing options. Our host Vishal was fantastic and knowledgeable

Laura Cook: This winery was the first stop on our tour and set the bar extremely high. My parents and I joined a tour where we could pick our own stops and we were all so pleased we chose Hanhdorf Hill. Vishal was passionate and knowledgeable and looked after us fabulously. We bought most of our wine from here and had the pleasure of watching a little of the grapes being harvested before Vishal very kindly brought us in some grapes to try with the matching wine.We paired our wine flights with a cheese platter which was just the right size to leave room for more wine!Do not pass this place up! The views are gorgeous and the wine even better.

Sally: Had a lovely and very interesting tasting here, with some unusual wine varieties. Great service from knowledgeable staff. There's also the option to do cheese or chocolate pairings, so something for everyone. Easy parking and access, and conveniently located once you've had your fill of cuckoo clocks and bratwurst in the local town.

Roberto Cortese: I had a great afternoon at Hahndorf Hill Winery. Great wines and friendly and professional service. Highly recommended.

Elizabeth Ellis: Delicious wines and very interesting stories. Kate was so helpful and made our visit feel very welcomed and worth the stop. The green angel dessert wine was a particular hit. Would highly recommend.

Crazy Pigeon: I took my wife to the winery to try out some of the wines, the staff are very welcoming and helpful, we certainly liked the chocolates and wines they had there, the Green Angel was a very sweet wine, greetings from Alice Springs.

Liesha Hanekroot: Beautiful Austrian varieties of wine, in a stunning setting. Loved it

Tony Baker: Went with some friends great wines staff great

Cheneal Puljevic: Exceptional wine and chocolate pairing. Vishal's service was the highlight!

Sew Vintage: Our experience at the winery was so different o any other tastings we had visited. We did the chocovino pairing with our lovely host Kate. So much knowledge and charm held into this winery. Will be back for the ice cream pairing!

Andrew Weidmann: Lovely vineyard, lovely view! And, of course, well worth tasting their wines.

Jeremy Blackburn: Really enjoyable wine tasting with a delightful cheese platter and lovely views.

Matt Walker: The White Hot chocolate was 👌

Donald Jones: Nice chocolate, but a touch pricey.Love it though

Jared Carr: So this is one shop which is missed so much. Hand made chocolates as good of not better than the chocolate shops of Paris. While your there look for the raspberry and almond blocks they transcend flavour profiles you have ever had before.

Ita Coetzer: Delicious food and desserts. Friendly folk.

Emily Tang: If you are tired from walking around the German Village, you can come here to have a drink and rest. The chili-flavored chocolate tastes really special. It’s not bad but you won’t want to eat it a second time. XD

Tony Barracano: Great place for chocolate treat

Daniel Forsyth: Yum

J S: All chocolates are made on-site. Great flavours, and a nice atmosphere.

Nik Payne: Amazing chocolates to take away, but before you do, you need to stop and have something from the menu and a coffee. If you have a serious chocolate craving, go for the brownie. The croissant or waffles come a close second

Rita M Holmes: Always a pleasure visiting this place.

Casper Yeow: Oh man! Best ice chocolate ever. Hands down!

Milfer MILLI Faizal: Love the Belgian Chocolates and the cold chocolate is the best I have had.

Travel with Terry: Great place to visit in Woodside in the Adelaide HillsWe went into Melba’s chocolate factory to have a lookIt has grown and changed so much over the yearsWe were unlucky it was the weekend and they were not making any chocolates or sweetsAfter being there numerous times years ago it was so interesting watching them make the sweetsI would go on a week day or ring and ask them if they are making sweets or chocolates before my next visitStill a great place to visit and bought lots of chocolates

David Thomas: great place to visit sad they don't offer stuff to taste anymore but hopefully one day they bring that back, friendly staffParking: parking at the back was easy to get in/out

Louise crosbie: Found this place by accident, as I was driving back to my motel and so glad I did.It is amazing. I bought enough chocolate and gifts for my family. I sampled some and it is divine. I also had a honeycomb hot chocolate. Who ever came up with the flavours deserves a pat on the back.
