Sathis kumar: Mini Beautiful Garden

Drew's Adventures: Beautiful place and lots of varieties of plants and quaint pondsPlayground: No playgroundRestrooms: No toiletDog-friendliness: Dog friendlyPicnic area: Some benches to have a picnic or the Zen rock area

Chakravarthy Venkatachalam: What a serene environment, just go there and sit listening to the water and it is like meditating

Pirouz Poursasan: Small tranquil area in the heart of Adelaide CBD just to give you a moment of peace in Japanese style.

Winnie Wong: Beautiful tranquil space.Quiet environment to rest and meditate.Very well maintained.

shaira noshin: It was small but peaceful to take a walk and enjoy the beauty of it.

Bianca Hadi: I actually loved visiting here, it's so nice and peaceful for a little stroll and to just sit and take in the scenery and noises

Wow Houseboats: Adelaide's Himeji Garden is a serene and beautifully designed Japanese garden located in the heart of the city. Opened in 1985, this garden is a symbol of the sister-city relationship between Adelaide and Himeji in Japan. It features traditional Japanese landscape elements, including tranquil koi ponds, meticulously manicured plants, and elegant stone pathways. The garden is divided into two main sections: the Shinto-inspired garden, which highlights the beauty of simplicity and natural harmony, and the more formal garden, showcasing classic Japanese landscaping techniques.

マロンパンケーキ: It was a very well-maintained and small garden, but it was a perfect and wonderful Japanese garden. Plants and flowers were all Japanese gardens themselves. I was impressed.

Kwangil Jeon: A beautiful park in Adelaide. It made me feel like I was in Japan for a short while.

Amber: smaller than i remember, but that’s not the garden’s fault at all. if you come on a good day, the garden is incredibly scenic & quiet. the big pond in the middle of the garden has turtles that often pop up & sucks that fly into the water. however, when it’s busy, the atmosphere is ruined fairly quickly

Cherie Green: Just so beautiful & relaxing

Jeff Baohm: if you are looking for an art deco style that is hard to find this is your go to venueNoteworthy details: art deco is alive and well

Paul Kitching: My wife and I decided to have a night away in our own town and this was perfect - brilliant to be so well located to everything. Easy check in and great service. Lovely room too with the loft set up - loved the high ceilings and no issue having the bed upstairs. Massive comfy bed... Lovely team members at every turn. Drinks at bar not cheap but worth it... then a nice easy stroll to dinner nearby... and loved the late 11am check out + fact we could leave our bag there for the day whilst we spent the day in town... so overall yes this was brilliant and would book again. ta!

Karl Perigo: from every department was faultless.Walkability: The free tram around the CBD is located across the road.

Christine Laverty: I love the vibe of this hotel. It’s stylish with art nouveaux design that oozes comfortable luxury unlike many boring hotels that I find lack personality. The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, showers almost too good-I didn't want to get out! Then there's the bath- it's deep and has a waterfall tap, absolute bliss to have a relaxing soak in after a stressful day. Another thing I really love is their vanity. It's actually a decent length, you can happily display all of your various make-up, hair & toiletry items easily. This is incredibly rare and you're often lucky to have enough room for a toothbrush and have to keep moving toilet bags from the floor..we'll, not here😁 Plus the bathroom light has a dimmer and one of those reversible make-up magnifier mirrors. The chaise lounge finishes off the room nicely with the only potential thing I can think of that wasn't perfect was that I walked into the overhanging light a couple of times but really, it wasn't a problem and I loved the light fixture and table set-up.The staff were all lovely and really helpful and the Manager was great to talk to. Even the cleaning staff happily greeted me whenever I saw them.Make sure you try a complimentary chocolate orange shot while you're there. You help yourself and it's just the Reception desk. It's so rich & delicious and again, another lovely extra touch. The cocktails from the bat were also great and although I didn't get the chance to dine in their restaurant-Luna, it has a great local reputation for breakfast as well as lunch/dinner.I loved everything about this hotel.😁Safety: I went online to an Adelaide group and asked about safety walking around at 7am. All feedback was it was safe and I did it every day and felt completely safe.

Toni Alroy: Stayed for three nights to attend a conference. I’m a lover of all things Art Nouveau so found the decor perfect. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, keen to share local knowledge and give advice to a first time Adelaide visitor. I was upgraded to a suite which was very unexpected. Bed was dreamy and bathroom was luxe. Hope I get to visit again. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

Helen Schunker: Enjoyed a High Tea Experience with 5 other people today, 10th August, 2024. Would highly recommend this High Tea. Delicious selection of savoury and sweet. Special cocktail mixed for us on arrival. A mocktail available as well. Excellent service by the team member at Luma Restaurant.Food & drinks: 5 star High Tea.

Raoul Antonio: Excellent place to stay. Customer service is superb. Rooms are big, well equipped and quiet. Each room has a terrace looking out to Adelaide hills. Small but great dining area and bar. If you want a larger dining or bar you can use next door HotelMotel or Alba hotel. They are all part of same group and service continues to excel. Tram is close by and you can access Rundle mall and CBD easily. If you like to jog/ run or just want greenery you just cross the road to a huge parkland. Close to airport too! Highly recommended.

Even a bath. Affordable and just what I needed. I'll be back.Walkability: Close to tram and directly opposite south Park lands

Belinda Dew: We went to the Champagne and Caviar event, and what an event it was. The ballroom looked amazing, the service was impeccable and we learned so much about caviar from a wonderful industry expert.. the champagnes weren’t to be missed.. on the whole a spectacular evening put on by wonderful hosts Richard and Jules 😊

Clive H: Amazing venue. Ballroom was stunning, hosts and service was impeccable. Had a fantastic champagne and caviar evening here. Excellent caviar and champagne pairings along with delicious canapés. Was a very special event. Cannot wait for our next visit.

Mark Turner: We did the champagne and caviar experience and learnt alot bloody great also met someone from my home town !!!! Taiping !!!!

Colin Townley: Fantastic Victorian architecture. The museum is on the right and the privately run section on the left.

Darrell Klar: Potentially hiring a room. There staff have been extremely helpful in understanding or needs and providing for them.

Patricia Guttridge: Went to Ayers House Menu tasting night food was excellent compliments to the chef staff where friendly special thanks to our servers Natalia and Tom

zoe hwong: Amazing Experience!!I recently had the pleasure of hosting a high tea party at Ayers House, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome, particularly by a staff member I believe was named Hope. Her greeting set a delightful tone for the entire event, making us feel truly special. The service throughout our stay was impeccable. Each staff member we interacted with displayed amazing manners and attentiveness, ensuring that our high tea was a seamless and enjoyable experience. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and it contributed significantly to the comfortable and refined atmosphere. The food served at our high tea was exquisite. Every bite was a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs at Ayers House. The selection of teas was impressive, and the accompanying treats were both beautifully presented and delicious. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the variety and quality of the food, which was a highlight of our gathering. The ambiance of Ayers House added to the charm of our high tea. The historic elegance of the venue provided a perfect backdrop for an afternoon of indulgence and conversation. It's clear why this place is renowned; it's not just a house but a home to timeless memories.I wholeheartedly recommend Ayers House for anyone looking to host an event or simply enjoy a sophisticated outing. The combination of the attentive staff, particularly Hope, the delectable food, and the enchanting setting makes for an unforgettable experience. My friends and I are already looking forward to our next visit.

alice cho: We went to Ayres House for a wedding we had an excellent experience as the food and staff were amazing. We had a young waitress named Hope who's service went above and beyond in ensuring we had the best time possible would recommend.

elle greeney: Hope was an amazing server when I went for a family function, she was very careful while placing the dishes and she was such a sweetheart! Seriously, promote her she is an amazing waitress.

Sofi Caimi: I recently attended a birthday party at Ayers House, and it was fantastic. All the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The dining room looked beautiful, adding to the ambiance. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend Ayers House.

Blayne Warwick: Great corporate event in the pool room. Staff and food excellent.

Andrew Walsh: I took a group of customers to ‘The Cellar’ @ Ayres House which has been set as pool room. The ambiance was spot on with great food and wine all very well priced! Be back again soon!Andrew

David Eccles: Pros: Nice looking and well placed venue. Food was good and staff were friendly for our seminar. After being asked they remembered to put out soy milk reliably. Water at the tables was refilled in between every break at the seminar.Cons: I found the lights were too 'warm' for a conference, which was occasionally hard on the eyes, but may be better for a wedding. The projector was a touch subpar and definitely lost critical detail on a few slides with diagrams. The food was generally reasonable but they missed my vegan dietary preference and had no options on one of the later days.EDIT on 6/6/24 - no worries, I understand there are multiple sides chains in a link. I response to the explanatory n prompt response from the owner I have popped the rating up from 3 to 4 stars. have a good day.

Pauline O'Sullivan: Looked after very well by staff.....Setting and venue is just another feather in Adelaide's functions cap.

Kristen S: The setting of this restaurant is fantastic and the service we received from both the waiter and teppanyaki chef were great. Food was good, but not worth the price point in my opinion. We spent $380 here, being the most expensive teppanyaki we have had, however the food quality was not as good as we have experienced elsewhere. Delicious nonetheless, but you can get better teppanyaki elsewhere for a much more reasonable price.

Allan Smith: After going to a game of footy in Adelaide and watching my team win, there’s nothing like celebrating at a nice restaurant like the Shiki, Adelaide's Award Winning Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant located at the InterContinental Adelaide. This is where you can immerse yourself in authentic Japanese teppanyaki in the heart of Adelaide. Headed by Shiki Chef de Cuisine, Kenny Trinh, where the team have created a delicious menu of truly succulent sushi, sashimi… and the list goes on and on. They are without a doubt, the ‘best of the best’, and proud to showcase South Australian produce. The menu is extensive like the wine list, however I strongly suggest you try the sushi and sashimi selection, prawn tempura, wagyu beef, bok choy and snow peas, vegetable fried rice and miso soup, and for dessert the mango mousse with coconut jelly. All complimented with the traditional Japanese wine, sake. What more can I say - everything was tasty, juicy and cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and professional, and everything else was cosy and romantic. Very Highly Recommended 👏👍😊

There was a wide and varied display of animals in clean enclosures. Enclosures could be much larger but I understand it's hard when there's only a limited amount of Zoo property. Overall, the amenities were great, the staff were informative and polite and the entrance fees were reasonable.

Proudly as a lifetime member of Adelaide Zoo, I booked a flight all the way from Sydney to Adelaide in the last week of August 2024 to celebrate their birthday before they go back to China. Chee T: I recently had an incredible dining experience at Ginza Miyako, a Japanese restaurant that offers an all-you-can-eat menu. Despite the all-you-can-eat format, the quality of the food was outstanding. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail and presented beautifully. From the fresh sashimi and sushi to the deliciously tender grilled meats, every bite was a delight. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring our glasses were always full and our plates promptly cleared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

Linda J: Recommend to try the new Japanese buffet😍😍As much as Sashimi and Wagyu beef you can eat, but not only for those. Menu options on menu and no limited but only for $78/pp. Look that big boat🤣 Also they have Wagyu beef hotpot with four soup base you can choose. Food are Fresh and refreshing! Atmosphere is high classic and specially can choose sit at wooden tatami😌

Tamara Wilton: Went to Ginza Miyako for a friend's birthday dinner.Another friend and myself ordered the sushi boat made vegan. It was bought out on two small boats, and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was great as we were able to chat without any loud background noise to compete with.It is more on the expensive side, but definitely worth it if you want a special night out.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options and a small vegan menu.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian options and a small vegan menu. I believe they will do their best to cater to dietary requirementsParking: There are several paid parking lots nearby, no free parking nearby though.

Tom Buck: I went here with my friend earlier today. It was a great experience. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The waitress was perfect! Everything about this restaurant was so good. I really enjoyed the calm and welcoming atmosphere. The music in the background was very relaxing. Despite being situated on a busy street in Adelaide city, entering this restaurant felt like being transported to a quiet little place in Kyoto. Fantastic experience! Thank you!

sahanmalee peellawattage: The food is excellent for the price, offering a great variety and high quality. The service provided by two Japanese women were amazing—attentive, friendly, and very professional. I will definitely visit again and again. To top it off, they surprised us with a special dessert for my partner's birthday, making our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Bread and Butter: Good business hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Windows open to a small balcony. The city is dead at night, so I could sleep with an open window even though my room faced the street. Free parking after 6pm in the streets around the hotel. The restaurant is only open for dinner from Thursdays. Didn't sample the breakfast but the coffee is good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I got a good rate for my stay, their rack rate is very high though. Booking direct through their website seems the best option.

Natalia: Amazing experience. First time in Adelaide for a holiday and I would highly recommend this hotel. Great location. You can walk to shops and restaurants. Room was very clean. Great food at the restaurant Special mention to Sweety, Anani, and Pur for their exceptional customer service. They made me feel welcomed and were very helpful.. even putting up with my silly humour. Thank you for a great stay. I’ll be back 👍🏻

Paolo Paternesi (Paolino64): Beautiful, elegant, extremely helpful and kind staff, huge rooms even with two double beds, bathroom with shower and toilet in separate rooms... In short, Adelaide is a super lively city and the Majestic really offers excellent accommodation.Rooms: Very spacious, clean and equipped with every comfort.

Samantha Warr: . The shower was large, so If you're a tall person, you'll be right. The only negative, I was lucky to get a good deal for 3 nights. However, If you had to pay the full price, would be quite more expensive than some of the hotels in the area.I would be interested in staying here next year for the beach volleyball world championships.
