Daniel Bird: Brad and all the team @ A1 have been great to deal with, we are renovating a 1968 home and are carrying out the work in stages, A1 have accommodated this with little stress.Latest areas have been hallway and master bedroom, we have chosen to lime/white the timber to give the home a coastal feel and the floors are better than expected.The floors have been almost preserved under multiple layers of linoleum and carpet so some back breaking efforts to get them ready however a very gratifying project.Hope we can finish the project off in the 12 months or so.Some photos below, big shoutout to Chris for this stage - outstanding work and a really pleasant guy.

Ben Morris: Got all new hybrid flooring in my house through these guys.The blokes that came out were super professional, worked hard, took great attention to detail and approached me to ask any questions to make sure that it was installed exactly how I wanted.They even got it all done in just one day!Couldn't have asked for better service.I guess my only gripe is that the new floor is less resistant to scratches than the previous laminate. That is on me for not doing quite enough research.Excellent customer experience!

Jo Barrie: A huge thank you to Matt at the Croydon Store and Matthew for helping get our flooring rectified after ongoing slab level/flooring issues with our builder! The builder still tried to cut corners, but DCC said if they were going to work with them to fix it, they weren’t doing half a job and it all needed fixing properly. Matt from DCC Croydon, and Matthew their flooring contractor did a fantastic job and we’re very happy that after 4 years and 11 months since handover…our slab was finally levelled and DCC installed a new floor that looks fantastic. We highly recommend DCC and thank them for helping to get our issues sorted.

Would highly recommend, he probably has the flooring you like from another flooring company, and he’ll most likely do a better price first time around.

Carina Brown: Thank you to Modern Floors for helping us out. We had a new floor put down by Modern Floors 3 years ago and we had always intended to do the rest of the house, but we just couldn’t quite afford the last two larger rooms back then. This has been a lesson to us because when we went back to them to initiate the next stage of the renovation, they told us that the manufacturer of laminate floor had stopped making the product. The team at modern Floors spent a great deal of time with us going through the showroom and trying to find a product that looked very similar which we managed to find. We were concerned because the level of the floor was going to be higher, but they found ways in which this could be done by their floor layer so that it all blended in really well. In the end, a floor layer turned up and did the job and the end result was absolutely spectacular. I would never ever use a large retailer because going to modern floors means that you will get personalised experience and it’s just so nice to have a company to go back to who will stand by their product. Thank you again, we will be back once we start the bedrooms…Carina
