Park staff were nice and helpfull, Allround great caravan park.Nearby activities: Adelaide zoo and Botanical gardens 5min walking distanceWalkability: Very nice River and Billabong walk next to campsite

Liberty Overton: Friendly Welcome, Clean Cabin!I almost didn't book to stay here after reading the reviews about the Reception staff; but I found the complete opposite! The man welcomed me and was kind and friendly in getting me organised. He took time to make sure I understood everything and had good directions to my cabin. I was grateful for this, because I was travelling alone with my 4 young children. He then found out I was travelling for a funeral. The next day, as I was checking out, he farewelled me with compassion and encouragement for my difficult day ahead, and hoped to welcome us back under better circumstances. He was very kind and friendly, from the get go.The cabin was extremely neat and tidy. The heater was on ready for us. It had everything we needed!Thank you for looking after us.

Paula Wilks: Stayed 4 nights in Cabin.Lovely clean very comfortable. Heat pump/ air conditioner. Leanne Tiver: Wonderful place to stay with many facilities to use. Something for everyone. Many different accommodation choices that are located around the park. Friendly & helpful staff. Ideally located in an area close to attractions if you choose to venture out of the self contained holiday resort.Safety: Well secured with wristband cards needed to enter every where.Walkability: Covers a big area but easy to walk to all facilities & accommodation.Food & drinks: Good choice of food & drinks for all meals as well as things to get for rooms such as milk bread etc

R K Shah: Holiday park is good

Debbie Innes: includes the bath, shower, and toilet all in the same room as a comfortable queen bed. The 2nd room had 2 singles. The floors are concrete so there is little to no noise between the 2 floors. The concrete floor is a tad cool on the feet in winter. Bedrooms have carpet, though. We were able to put a child guard up to stop the kids from going down the stairs. The downstairs unit has only 1 bathroom and felt a tad smaller than the upstairs. It also had everything you need.Towels were changed if you put them out.Overall a great place to stay

Lisa Sigley: We just had a lovely stay in you pool side 2 story apartments, but I have one complaint. The shower in the shared bathroom upstairs has no where to place your toiletries, no soap holder or shelf. As an older person I am unable to pick a bar of soap of the floor, and found it disgusting to see the top of the rain shower head covered in the previous occupants left over soap and shampoo/ conditioner container's, YUK!

Nathan Cook: This place is small but well set out. Plenty for the kids to do and the addition of 2x small bowling lanes was great fun.A part from being on the expensive side I only had a couple of down points. The shower/toilet block needs a big overhaul. It's looking very tired. A few more towels in the camp kitchen wouldn't go astray either. We've been to quite a few that also provide an airing rack to hang the wet towels.Whilst watching a movie at night you get two big spot lights shining into your face from behind the screen. Not great when trying to watch a movie.

Morgan: Our stay here was awesome, super easy to get around the park and local suburbs. The facilities kept all the kids and adults happy while we stayed here for 3 nights. We had a 3 bedroom cabin and it was a great space. Everything was clean and really well kept in the cabin and the park itself. Heaps of space for the kids to ride on bikes and close to the shops too. Lovely park and highly recommend!!

Andrea C: Had an absolutely amazing stay here! The staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating to my families needs and highly recommend staying here. They are also pet friendly and very understanding when it comes to the fur babies. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member. Also have to give them extra credit for putting up with my crazy partner lol

Danielle Ashford: I am updating my review. I honestly love this place so much. I just want to update on my most recent trip. For those needing a space that is mobility needs friendly I checked in and omg the cabin we stayed in. Amazing wide car space, flat entry and exit. Huge walk in/ wheel in if needed shower with a bench, rails next to the toilet and in the shower. Extra power points. I was blown away. See pics. I've always loved this park but more so now.We have stayed here a few times and never had any issues. We have been here for 6 nights of an 8 night stay in preparation for the birth of my baby. My daughter and I were so comfortable and relaxed. The park is quiet and well maintained and secure. The cabin was lovely, beautiful and clean and with it having an oven and cook top and full size fridge we could cook and shop for the week. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. It's close to the beach and west lakes shopping centre. I will be sad to be leaving after such a lovely week but will be back.

John Gray: Fiona, lauren and the staff run a spotless ship. I cant say enough how friendly and helpfull they are!!!Hotel highlights Great value …

Sonia MARIA: Love this Caravan Park. Parents were long term residents here. Mum remains. The amenities block is very good. Can even have a bath!!The walk to the beach is short and well worth it. I have had many hours walking along the Semaphore beach with my mother. So nice to have my mum so close to this lovely space.

Kelly Holloman: A lovely destination for nature enthusiasts. The park features diverse wildlife, including koalas and kangaroos, which are a highlight. The walking trails are pleasant, though some could benefit from better signage. The views from certain points are quite nice, providing a peaceful atmosphere. Facilities are adequate, with clean restrooms and picnic areas. It’s a great place for a relaxed day trip, but if you’re looking for more challenging hikes, you might find the trails here a bit easy. Overall, it's a solid choice for a nature getaway.

Brian LeBlanc: Cleland National Park is a good spot for nature lovers. The trails are straightforward and offer pleasant views of the surrounding landscape. Seeing native wildlife is a nice touch, though it can get a bit crowded during peak times. Facilities are basic but sufficient for a day trip. It's a solid option if you're looking for a local nature experience, but don’t expect solitude during busy periods.

Marian Kelly: Amazing place, loved getting up close to the animals.

Krystina Ebsary: I took my children here for a family day out. They all had an amazing time and loved the snake holding experience. Will definitely come back again in the future.

Liisa Grace Baun: Excellent hiking trail with stunning scenic views. There are plenty of rest stops along the way from Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty. While some parts are steep, they don't last long.

Lillian Pais: Nature at its best

Long Vu: Fresh air, very nice park with Kangaroo, Koala and other Aussie animals, nice experience for family with kids. Recommend to spend about 90mins here on the trip to Hahndorf

Cenz Mast: Don't forgot to try the 7.5 k hike unforgettable 💯 💪

Eva Melinda: It is a magical place with so many koalas on the walks.

Shuz New: Fun works shot and long easy access path to waterfall. Bring your coats in winter it's colder down there and look out for the koalas sleeping in the trees.

Daniel Brasser: First time here and wow what a peaceful place. Great spot to walk around and get back to nature. Will be going to camp there soon can't wait to get back to nature.

Andrew Wilkinson: Picturesque location amongst the pine trees and gentle slopes overloong the valley. Even reasonably comfortable in the wind and wet. Toilets clean and short walking distance.Restrooms: Toilets with hand basic available. Take own soap.Dog-friendliness: Dogs need to be on short lead, but plenty of space for walks.

Blade sawyer: Was great, had a great time, the rangers were really nice , thanks will camp here again!Restrooms: At the time it was clean and well stocked , they got very busy every so often but were great, we were camped just over from them.

Helen Red: Gorgeous campground. We stayed for just 1 night. We had site 26 which was located further towards the back end of the campground and provided plenty of space. It was very quiet with about 3 other campers. It was chilly at night especially not being able to have a fire but fire restrictions are set to lift 1st May. It was awesome to hear the wind whispering through the tall pines and we enjoyed a nice morning walk through the forest area. The toilets were well maintained and kept clean. I won’t add pictures as previous pictures provide a good description of the site.

Anna F: Beautiful campsites, generously spread out, under pine trees. Can get very cold overnight and no camp fires allowed during April.

Kellie Marsden: What a beautiful spot to camp! Lots of lovely scenery, pine trees, wildlife, butterflies galore, and just so serene and peaceful! Shade if you want and sunny spots too. Fire pits for a nightly fire, so nice!! Great walks, toilets and space to spread out. Close to Williamstown if you want a pub or bakery or massage!!Restrooms: Clean and useable - not too far to walk

Rob Ahern: Good people to deal with .clean rooms.and very friendly.

María Jesús Hernández: I booked a budget unit queen room and When I arrived good cleaning, the first photo I just sat on the bed haha but when I arrived the bed was perfectly made. Bathroom very clean, just the nightstand a bit dusty but I am not very fussy. I would suggest to change the odour spray for a citric one because as soon as I got in to the room I felt a smell like Smokey and perfume 😣. Anyways, the bed is comfortable and very nice boiling shower haha I like it 👌depending who is your next door neighbour is a bit noisy but after 10pm is pretty quiet here. nikolaj w: free pegs

Stephen: Best camping ground for young families. Thank you ☺️

Rachel Murchland: . Great hike down to the river right off the edge of the campground. The surfaces for the sites are not well suited to tents, really rocky and hard but we made it work. Not much shade at the sites which was hard in summer, but the campground in general has good shade so we managed fine.

Gustavo Calderon: Restrooms: impeccable

Timmy Arnold: Would be nice to have another toilet.

Rachel Gu: The campsite is big and flat, there’s a flushing toilet which is pretty clean, the river hike is a nice workout suitable for anyone as it’s only about 4km return? Only downside is campsite are pretty close to each other but I found that it’s something common for all national park campgrounds.

Roshan Neupane: running around. There’s good sized fire pits to warm up and enjoy bbq. Just a note to take good sized pegs and hammer because surface ground is very hard and can easily bend small pegs other than that site is enjoyable in every sense.

Jamie Sciban: The campsites are nicely spaced, the ground is tent peg bending hard. We stayed in site no 11, Tent only. So hard that we ended up using rocks for Guy wires. We'll be bringing the wireless drill and screw tent pegs for the next time. There's some stunning scenery, it's a fantastic park to visit and close to town and the wineries.

Carrol Walker: We stayed here because hubby had to go to hospital and it is just around corner from flinders hospital. was only supposed to be in over night but ended up being in for 5 nights. The people that work here were fantastic and accommodate me with extra nights.Staff are fantastic park is really quiet. Cabins are basic but they service there purpose and they are very very clean.

Debby Williams: Peaceful, helpful staff. Beautiful trees everywhere, serene.

Lesley Johnston: Amazing caring people. Thank you. They were worried about making sure that my needs were met, as I am from Mt Gambier and my husband was in hospital at Flinders. Nothing was too hard. My heartfelt thanks. Would recommend to anyone to stay there

Daniel Knight: Little piece of paradise

Catherine Marie Formosa (Catty): Excellent place to stay, great for kids also. Excellent facilities

denise burgrss: Love this caravan. So peaceful. The other tenants here are great. The manager and the girls in the office are wonderful people.

Danielle Coulter: I booked into a budget cabin BEFORE reading the reviews. Having read some before arriving, I had my concerns. But while my cabin WAS old, and a bit dated, it was scrupulously clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower hot. I only heard my neighbours for an hour or so on one night, and well before10pm. My only gripe would be that the stove was very slow to heat up… but in the scheme of things this park was clean, quiet, and while it lacked a bit in charm, it was super conveniently located. Perhaps not for families, but ideal for single travellers passing through.

Rainer Leupold: The river has more wildlife than ever has had before its my favourite place

Lee Burt: Great place to stay great over night price's and permanent vans are cheaper than living in a house and staff are very Friendly

Scott ask: Definately top 5 adelaide doggo walks. Can get busy on weekends and snakes can be a problem in summer. On leash only but 100% worth a look outside of busy weekend times..

Igor Sochkan: This place is located in few minutes drive from the city.

Stephen Jolly (Jolman): Plenty of places to walk

Michael Arroyo: Such a beautiful place to just lose yourself in, with many tracks to go hiking and just enjoy the surroundings.

Steven Evans: You get to see the city and coastal views from a height and there is a playground and free bbq and picnic area. Parking during the weekdays is plentiful. walk up steep incline to see higher views of the city and panaroma views. No toilets though and nothing in walking distancePlayground: Keep the kids occupiedDog-friendliness: Both the walking trail and area people walk dogs there is no signs saying otherwisePicnic area: Free bbq with table seating which weekdays normally not used.

R S: It is a nice walk but it seems to lack a public toilet or rubbish bins. The facilities may have been in a different part to the section I went through.

Tash Blesing: Beautiful place to walk along the river. Had a warm beautiful day. Didn't explore the whole parkland, but it is a large area. There is a area with tables to have lunch, no bins anywhere though, so take your rubbish with you. If you take your dog with you, don't forget poopy bags, and take it with you as there is no bins anywhere. All dogs must stay on a leash whilst walking through the parkland. A caravan park is also located in the area and which is really nice and dog friendly.

Chris Abbott: I usually park at the carpark near McElligott's Quarry Reserve then walk up the hill towards The tree. mazing views over Adelaide. I then walk towards Brown Hill Trig then onto Gate 87 Style then follow the Yurebilla trail and stop at Netherby Spur for more amazing views. Then follow the trail back to the carpark.

Scott Brown: Quiet park in a tree lined valley. Very restful.

Jason Coleman: Great place for a walk or picnic. The views and birdlife are amazing. The only dampener was our cabin in the caravan park was filthy with mould and spiderwebs. I recommend the recreational park not the caravan park.

Jeff Owens: This place is modern, clean, lots of facilities. Toilets/showers immaculate. Just on walking distance from town. However the caravan park is on a hill with teraced carvan spots. Depending on where you are allocated you will need to either reverse down hill or up hill both presenting issues. There are a few drive thru sites but get booked out quickly. New child playground getting installed. Quality roads and gutters throughout but sites aee bit on the small side. Still recommend though.

Stephen Watson: .Facilities are top notch, massive well equip camp kitchen

Kylie Byrne: What a lovely park! Awesome camp kitchen; enclosed with heating. Good size sites, enough for our camper & kids swag on one site. Very clean, updated amenities including laundry. 2 ladies at front counter were beyond friendly when I had to change dates by a day. Our 2 night stay was perfect, we will be back.

Peter Porter: One of the most amazing views of all of Adelaide, areas to sit down and take all of the view in.

Rob Wallis: A great recreation park for a hike or a picnic. Plenty of wildlife if you are into photography. In winter, maybe bring a rain jacket, just in case.

Mick O: Great place to explore and go for a stroll

Grant Moyle: A natured place for walks or hiking.

Courtney Pleass: Besides the many hiking trails, it is a great spot to find wildlife. I almost always see an abundance of lizards here, including the Tawny Dragons and White's Skinks which I have found nowhere else in the Adelaide foothills but at Anstey Hill.
