One mental health samuel Ride at a time krajnik: For a cyclist to stay up high in the hills is everything, an to determine the selfless acts of complete kindness is beyond amazementI came here a few days agoTo embark on racing an got more than I bargained for!Met really lovely backpackersAn great kindness from the owner was amazing.Thank you very much for having me.I only wish I wasn't so timmid to new people an talked more.Slowly but surely that's changing.. think I will have to come stay again!!

Boo Azul: Stayed at this wonderful bush setting for 8 days. There is a lovely bush walk behind the camp. Keep your eyes up and you might see a Koala. The camp is ideally situated for exploring the Adelaide Hills. The facilities are basic. We always had hot water and great pressure in the showers, so that kept us happy. We felt welcomed by the hosts.

Rosario Esensua: Lovely place, lovely owners.Been here twice accomodation first time and it was pretty good, nothing outstanding but for the price, it worked.Lovely and clean, bathrooms clean, what more can you ask for.

Nassim Hemmati: Amazing caravan site. The staff are sooo friendly and welcoming. There are beautiful walking trails in the area.

M MAC M MAC: Looking to unwind we found, right at our door step, this peaceful hidden gem amongst the beautiful scenery of the Adelaide Hills. With our camper van set up on the oval over looking the bushland, it was so relaxing enjoying a bottle of local wine . Very friendly and welcoming owners. Wineries & eateries nearby. This is the perfect place to connect with nature. We loved it !!

Keiichiro: The facilities, pricing, and owner were amazing! ! ! !Service: 5/5 …

Carl Robinson: Rachel and Michael provide a beautiful and affordable experience. Suitable for anyone wanting a well priced, safe and fun getaway experience for the whole family.Highly recommend!

Sean Bergin: I have stayed here many times. It's awesome. Private, quiet and very special. The hosts are the best of people.I was here when the disrespectful family of Alex stayed here the other day and am disgusted by his juvenile and narcissistic review. Looking at his other reviews a pattern of ignorant entitlement and petty keyboard attacks is pretty clear. Bluntly put, the owners should have kicked you out, without any refund, much sooner. I feel sorry for any other places that have to deal with you, and any travellers that have to stay within a hundred metres of you on your travels. Honestly you should be ashamed. Your behaviour and dogs uncontrolled behaviour was extremely unpleasant and distressing for others. I am aware of some pubs in rougher areas that allow sleeping in their carpark after drinking. Perhaps you'd feel more at home there. And your claims about leering or whatever are disgusting. The owner you are referring to has serious eye issues and can barely see at the moment, so does squint a bit. Your interpretation of this as creepy simply shows your ignorance, lack of awareness and respect and your ignorant and self absorbed character. You should apologise and remove your review, and seek some mental health feedback. To all the mentally healthy and respectful people: Shiloh is a very special place. I highly recommend it to respectful people looking for a sanctuary to stay and explore. Hopefully people like Alex and his family don't slip in too often, but I guess we've all had encounters like this. Don't let this childish and petty review influence your choices.Noteworthy details: Just an awesome nature escape, and still convenient to get to interesting places.

Scott Snaddon: Beautiful location with fantastic facilities and owners who clearly care about guests. We had some amazing recommendations for cellar doors from Racheal and some great advice about seeing local wildlife from her husband. The walks around the grounds are lovely.I would recommend staying here to anyone!

Lotte Taylor: Great Campsite - Location is stunning and staff are lovely.Trip very much marred by other site occupants. As we were camping we left a bag of goods in the site fridge overnight which was stolen, including a small cheese cake we bought for my mother for her birthday today from the Adelaide Markets. All was labelled and dated but this didn’t deter the thief. Disappointing and not the staffs fault, they were very apologetic. DO NOT USE THE KITCHEN FACILITY FRIDGES DUE TO THIS. Also, first time visiting from NZ and this, over multiple years of travelling and camping at campgrounds world wide, this has never happened to us. Disappointing, Australia.

Roxy B: A great location and a well kept caravan park.

Stacey: Great place to visit right on a beautiful beach good for walking the dogs exercise and people sometimes out having a surf when the weather is right I guess the park has friendly and very helpful staff good amenities and some lovely views looking over the sea I do recommend this place as a great place to visit even holidays with family I've been here 1 month so far and no problems at all oh and local shops near by so very convenient and not far to walk 👍👍

Liberty Overton: Friendly Welcome, Clean Cabin!I almost didn't book to stay here after reading the reviews about the Reception staff; but I found the complete opposite! The man welcomed me and was kind and friendly in getting me organised. He took time to make sure I understood everything and had good directions to my cabin. I was grateful for this, because I was travelling alone with my 4 young children. He then found out I was travelling for a funeral. The next day, as I was checking out, he farewelled me with compassion and encouragement for my difficult day ahead, and hoped to welcome us back under better circumstances. He was very kind and friendly, from the get go.The cabin was extremely neat and tidy. The heater was on ready for us. It had everything we needed!Thank you for looking after us.

Leanne Tiver: Wonderful place to stay with many facilities to use. Something for everyone. Many different accommodation choices that are located around the park. Friendly & helpful staff. Ideally located in an area close to attractions if you choose to venture out of the self contained holiday resort.Safety: Well secured with wristband cards needed to enter every where.Walkability: Covers a big area but easy to walk to all facilities & accommodation.Food & drinks: Good choice of food & drinks for all meals as well as things to get for rooms such as milk bread etc

R K Shah: Holiday park is good

Debbie Innes: includes the bath, shower, and toilet all in the same room as a comfortable queen bed. The 2nd room had 2 singles. The floors are concrete so there is little to no noise between the 2 floors. The concrete floor is a tad cool on the feet in winter. Bedrooms have carpet, though. We were able to put a child guard up to stop the kids from going down the stairs. The downstairs unit has only 1 bathroom and felt a tad smaller than the upstairs. It also had everything you need.Towels were changed if you put them out.Overall a great place to stay

Lisa Sigley: We just had a lovely stay in you pool side 2 story apartments, but I have one complaint. The shower in the shared bathroom upstairs has no where to place your toiletries, no soap holder or shelf. As an older person I am unable to pick a bar of soap of the floor, and found it disgusting to see the top of the rain shower head covered in the previous occupants left over soap and shampoo/ conditioner container's, YUK!

Nathan Cook: This place is small but well set out. Plenty for the kids to do and the addition of 2x small bowling lanes was great fun.A part from being on the expensive side I only had a couple of down points. The shower/toilet block needs a big overhaul. It's looking very tired. A few more towels in the camp kitchen wouldn't go astray either. We've been to quite a few that also provide an airing rack to hang the wet towels.Whilst watching a movie at night you get two big spot lights shining into your face from behind the screen. Not great when trying to watch a movie.

Morgan: Our stay here was awesome, super easy to get around the park and local suburbs. The facilities kept all the kids and adults happy while we stayed here for 3 nights. We had a 3 bedroom cabin and it was a great space. Everything was clean and really well kept in the cabin and the park itself. Heaps of space for the kids to ride on bikes and close to the shops too. Lovely park and highly recommend!!

Kim Szlezak: Amazing views and its quite serene and peaceful. Get campsites 12-20 and the restrooms are just a little walk away.

Daniel Brasser: First time here and wow what a peaceful place. Great spot to walk around and get back to nature. Will be going to camp there soon can't wait to get back to nature.

Andrew Wilkinson: Picturesque location amongst the pine trees and gentle slopes overloong the valley. Even reasonably comfortable in the wind and wet. Toilets clean and short walking distance.Restrooms: Toilets with hand basic available. Take own soap.Dog-friendliness: Dogs need to be on short lead, but plenty of space for walks.

Blade sawyer: Was great, had a great time, the rangers were really nice , thanks will camp here again!Restrooms: At the time it was clean and well stocked , they got very busy every so often but were great, we were camped just over from them.

Helen Red: Gorgeous campground. We stayed for just 1 night. We had site 26 which was located further towards the back end of the campground and provided plenty of space. It was very quiet with about 3 other campers. It was chilly at night especially not being able to have a fire but fire restrictions are set to lift 1st May. It was awesome to hear the wind whispering through the tall pines and we enjoyed a nice morning walk through the forest area. The toilets were well maintained and kept clean. I won’t add pictures as previous pictures provide a good description of the site.

Anna F: Beautiful campsites, generously spread out, under pine trees. Can get very cold overnight and no camp fires allowed during April.

Kellie Marsden: What a beautiful spot to camp! Lots of lovely scenery, pine trees, wildlife, butterflies galore, and just so serene and peaceful! Shade if you want and sunny spots too. Fire pits for a nightly fire, so nice!! Great walks, toilets and space to spread out. Close to Williamstown if you want a pub or bakery or massage!!Restrooms: Clean and useable - not too far to walk

RV Utami: came here the day after rain to see mushroom and enjoying the pine tree smell.Till fire season end gate will close at 4pm.Such a nice place to gather with family and friends to enjoy nature.the toilet is working properly too.

Corey Barrett: Restrooms: Long drop toilets in elevated wooden structure. They get cleaned and restocked daily by park ranger during camping seasonPicnic area: Picnic tables and fire pits before the camp ground, free to use, first come basis and no camping in picnic area

Michael Preuss: Restrooms: Clean sceneDog-friendliness: Friendly dogsPicnic area: Clean BBQ

nikolaj w: free pegs

Stephen: Best camping ground for young families. Thank you ☺️

Rachel Murchland: . Great hike down to the river right off the edge of the campground. The surfaces for the sites are not well suited to tents, really rocky and hard but we made it work. Not much shade at the sites which was hard in summer, but the campground in general has good shade so we managed fine.

Gustavo Calderon: Restrooms: impeccable

Timmy Arnold: Would be nice to have another toilet.

Rachel Gu: The campsite is big and flat, there’s a flushing toilet which is pretty clean, the river hike is a nice workout suitable for anyone as it’s only about 4km return? Only downside is campsite are pretty close to each other but I found that it’s something common for all national park campgrounds.

Roshan Neupane: running around. There’s good sized fire pits to warm up and enjoy bbq. Just a note to take good sized pegs and hammer because surface ground is very hard and can easily bend small pegs other than that site is enjoyable in every sense.

Jamie Sciban: The campsites are nicely spaced, the ground is tent peg bending hard. We stayed in site no 11, Tent only. So hard that we ended up using rocks for Guy wires. We'll be bringing the wireless drill and screw tent pegs for the next time. There's some stunning scenery, it's a fantastic park to visit and close to town and the wineries.

Calel “Cal” Pizzino: Amazing, very friendly people and easy to check in. Great facilities for price and great campsites.

Aerwyn: Camp-site is mostly flat. Alot of the sites are grouped close together but there's a couple great spots, particularly if you get 2 sites close to the toilet facilities as it makes things easier. Forestry borders the camping area but wood is scarce so we take bags of wood with us now.

megan rowe: Froze my butt off but we had a great time, the kids loved it, fire pit was a winner and a walk through the forest was funRestrooms: Only a few shared toilets, what you would expectDog-friendliness: Didn't take a dog but saw some there

Rian Whitby: toilets with supplied paper.Picnic area: Open area drive in, drive out. No tables that I noticed in the main area.

Lara Kingham: Good campsites, quiet surroundings with lots of trees and pine forests nearby. Each campsite has its own fire pit, which can be used outside of fire ban season. Campsites are a good size and well spaced. It wasn’t very busy when we went, so we enjoyed a nice quiet weekend.Restrooms: Restrooms are centrally located and are a hybrid system that is much better than the old drop toilets.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed if kept under control/ on lead. This was my dog’s first camping experience and he had a great time sniffing around the place.

John Gregory: Probably my favourite campground in SA. Beautiful place and so closeRestrooms: Long drops

Jordan McCourt: Absolutely beautiful spot. Massive camp sites and nice facilities with some sheltered camping alsoRestrooms: Clean and maintainedDog-friendliness: Dog friendly

Jeff Owens: This place is modern, clean, lots of facilities. Toilets/showers immaculate. Just on walking distance from town. However the caravan park is on a hill with teraced carvan spots. Depending on where you are allocated you will need to either reverse down hill or up hill both presenting issues. There are a few drive thru sites but get booked out quickly. New child playground getting installed. Quality roads and gutters throughout but sites aee bit on the small side. Still recommend though.

Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member. Also have to give them extra credit for putting up with my crazy partner lol

Danielle Ashford: I am updating my review. I honestly love this place so much. I just want to update on my most recent trip. For those needing a space that is mobility needs friendly I checked in and omg the cabin we stayed in. Amazing wide car space, flat entry and exit. Huge walk in/ wheel in if needed shower with a bench, rails next to the toilet and in the shower. Extra power points. I was blown away. See pics. I've always loved this park but more so now.We have stayed here a few times and never had any issues. We have been here for 6 nights of an 8 night stay in preparation for the birth of my baby. My daughter and I were so comfortable and relaxed. The park is quiet and well maintained and secure. The cabin was lovely, beautiful and clean and with it having an oven and cook top and full size fridge we could cook and shop for the week. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. It's close to the beach and west lakes shopping centre. I will be sad to be leaving after such a lovely week but will be back.

Daniel Oors: Great place for a walk. Not too difficult to navigate, the paths are very visible but are a little narrow. Not overly steep however I just followed the Rockdale trail to the quarry where the track ends. A little bit of history to read in the car park as well. No public toilets though, so make sure you go before you leave or you might need to get close to a tree or a bush.

Anonymous Alice: Love it here. Always go for a walk here when I'm in SA. Most recently discoved mushrooms growing here, which was unusual since I've never seen them growing there before.Previously I have seen two quince trees around the entrance, full of fruit and I picked a few and put them to good use.Another highlight for me is the abundance of blackberries growing. I collected a good bucket full of blackberries and made a pie and some blackberry jam. Very prickly though so be careful... Check how the leaves are looking as sometimes the council will poison them off so do be wary.

Mel Kluge: Very quiet walk, not at all busy, unfortunately no dogs allowed.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Daniel Hurt: took us 1.5 hours exactly and we took a couple of breaks. We’re reasonable quick walker though- so allow a little more time.No dogs.Picked a few blackberries too- but make sure there’s been no spraying in the area before you do this.

Danni: Really enjoy this hike for its challenges in which involved climbing up rocks during parts of the trail and having to navigate your steps on some of the paths due to the rocks, crevasse and the narrowness. I found this fun and felt very accomplished once complete. This hike is NOT for those that cannot climb or have trouble on there feet, the hike it self has alot of areas with lose rocks, sand that is slippery, inclines, narrow walk ways, rocks that require climbing up or down. Some paths can be difficult to follow if you do not keep a look out for the signs so be sure to watch for the signs and read carefully. It can be very isolated out there and there is little phone reception.Good for those experienced. Also may mention, there is a sign that advices to not touch a certain flower as it is a weed nd spreads easily through seeds that attach to clothes however as the track is so un-maintenanced, this weed is every where, it is garenteed to be touched during the hike.Female. 26.

T C: Wonderful quite place to have some clam time amidst the woods listening to the birds chirping.

Zane D-J: Wasn't expecting the hike to be as difficult as it was but it was a challenge well earned in the end. Not many people.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait …

Carol Williams: Like all caravan parks when visiting for the first time, We came not knowing what to expect. Delighted with the whole experience just doesn’t cut the mustard. This place is a gem. It’s not 100% perfect but it’s close to around 98%. It’s just central to the shops trams pubs buses and city entertainment. Who needs big 4?Outstanding service facilities cleanliness. We’re enjoying this experience and NOT wanting to go home.Love it⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Des T: We stayed here as our base camp when we came to the City for "Pinks" Concert. Great Location close to Public Transport, nearby Shops and Food Outlets and of course so close to the City. We utilised the Tram and took it to the Pink Concert at Adelaide Oval, then to Glenelg the next day for Lunch, and then to meet up with friends in the City. Amenities were good and has everything we needed. For us it is all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION, and CONVENIENCE. We will stay again. Only disappointment was that previous people had said they got a bottle of wine on Arrival. Sadly though none for us.....Nearby activities: So close to the City and with Public Transport to get you there and back and also to Glenelg Beach.

Andrew McKinnon: Very nice and neat. Toilets were well maintained. Great spot to ride around as it is flat. There are a lot of ants.Safety: High walls around the entire park.Walkability: Close to a tram station and a pub.

Dave A: Convenient location, close to the Adelaide CBD. Amenities are good and in sufficient numbers. Sites are nice and large, and the majority are paved.Utility poles are a little hard to reach, being quite a distance from where your van is parked. Make sure you have sufficient length of power cables and water and sullage hoses 😀

Kerry Van Mosseveld: Great location. Right in the heart of the city. Bit pricey.Safety: Gated area and pinpad access both in and out of the showgrounds.Location: 5/5 …
