Michael Porter: I think this is my new favourite secondhand shop. Besides masses of jewellery and guitars there are other interesting vintage and antique items for sale. Yesterday we bought a gorgeous diamond ring which was a screaming bargain . The blokes in the shop really know their stuff and they are very friendly and pleasant to deal with. A big thumbs up from us!!

What I found disappointing was a more ‘senior shop assistant’ or manager just kept staring at myself and husband throughout our almost $11,000 transaction. It made us feel as though either the lady serving me or my husband and I could not be trusted - it felt very uncomfortable.

It was my daily wear and TBH it looked like itIt was in very bad shape when I took it into AJRS. They were quite frank about the amount of work required. All of the diamonds were either missing or severely damaged. It required the whole crown to be rebuilt. I have attached the photos halfway through the rebuild and the finished product. I’m sorry I didn’t take a picture of the before 🤦I would highly recommend anyone looking for repairs or bespoke work to go in and have a chat. As you can see, the finished product is well worth it

Lucy Green: Friendly assistants, but had to wait an hour to replace a faulty earring, after driving 40 mins back to the store, just for the assistant to ask the manager to ‘assess’ the earring. He looked at it for one second and confirmed a replacement was warranted. Could have easily tapped him on the shoulder and confirmed it when I first arrived and I would’ve been out in 3 minutes. Please fix this process. Parking isn’t cheap.
