She was an absolute gun with making every drink as soon as the docket was placed in front of her and she did it with a smile and charm. Every drink tasted amazing and I could tell it was made with love. India kept everything stocked and could tell she enjoyed working in a team in a busy environment. Great place

    JONK3R: The main room hosts a large range of hard liquors, from your average whisky and gins to the pricier stuff. Plenty of seating options and service was efficient and friendly. The main room windows were open despite it being the middle of winter so we opted for the small room to the left which hosts about 25-30 people and was toasty warm. Crowd ranged from a handful of twenty somethings, but mostly groups aged 35+. Was a great option for a nightcap, but they’re not open very late being a hotel bar.

    Fiona Nguyen: Best Passionfruit Magarita in town. Open late on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s nice to sit in the corner and look at the Victoria Square.

    Zahra Sahara: The Collins Bar, situated in the Hilton Hotel, has hands down the friendliest staff I have encountered in a while. The ambiance of the venue is fantastic and you can enjoy stunning views of Victoria Square while sipping on your cocktail or beverage of choice. Overall, an amazing spot for a night out!

Their online reservation system was easy and a simple request put me in touch with Carlien and Nicole who did some amazing decorating for the special guy. Extraordinary customer service. I don't drink alcohol, but was glad to see they had a few non-alcoholic specially drinks available.I would have liked a bit more range, particulalry as the zero beer would be, in my opinion, the worst one in the market, but I think the "non-drinker" wave is yet to fully be accepted.Keen to go back, maybe try some food next time.

    Kelly O'Brien: We held my daughter's 18th birthday party in the function room upstairs and it was fabulous. The venue manager is second to none. Organised, super responsive and nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfect with seating in booths and plenty of room to dance. The bar is a good size so good access for getting drinks. Grazing table generous. I highly recommend Distill for any function/party.

Right from the outset, your service and willingness to assist was excellent and, to be honest, pleasantly surprising. Not only is the function space perfect for such occasions, you took all the stress away from organising such an event. We were able to enjoy the night watching our son and his friends have a fantastic time. With free venue hire, we felt the cost was very reasonable, particularly when you consider our designated security person and the monitoring of underage patrons. Having great IT infrastructure in place allowed us to display a photo presentation on loop and we were able to play our personal playlists through the venue’s sound system. Had a fantastic night and all we had to do was get home safely. Could not fault it and would encourage anyone looking to hold a stress-free function to consider Distill.

I’m sure there are plenty of other drinks available too - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.As for the atmosphere, since the renovation, pretty much all surfaces are hard and although it wasn’t that busy, the noise was overwhelming. The music was quite load and patrons were having to shout to be heard. It was the one part of the night which really spoiled the experience.

I’ve enjoyed the Green Veggie Laksa many times, the Malaysian Chicken Curry and on my last visit the Sambal Char Kueh Tiaw and the Slow-cooked Lamb Shank and they are now the clear front runners.It was very quiet in the dining room as it was a mid week evening but perhaps some louder background music is a good idea as the two other groups inside were very loud and it took over the whole venue.The team are friendly and have always shown us a lovely time.On the downside, more attention on the cleanliness of the bathrooms needs to be prioritised. It wasn’t a great experience.I do also like that their menu items offer a wine pairing suggestion and there are a good range of GF options.

    Claire Page: Lovely historic hotel. It has been decorated very nicely inside. We had the whole place to ourselves when we went for lunch on a Sunday around 1.30pm. The service was very good and attentive. We had steaks which were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Parking is free in the street right out the front. You have to go down some steps to get to the main bar so it is not fully accessible but they have attempted to at least make the dining area and entrance wheelchair accessible.

    Jacopo Guidone: Beautiful bar in the main center of Adelaide , good cocktails and especially nice the signatures one . The bartender was friendly and recommend my girlfriend a cocktails that she really like .Ps : Maybe could just improve by adding some more tequilas in the menu .

    Paulii: It's not often a themed bar gets it right but Bibliotheca is on point. It's a cosy, tucked away bar with a definitive library feel. My friend and I got a cocktail each, The Drink That Shall Not Be Named and The Golden Ticket. Both of these were incredible, as was the service. Our bartender knew her stuff and correctly chose our drinks to suit us when we asked for help. I also enjoyed perusing all the secondhand books on the shelves and the traditional green library lamps scattered around the room. Really want to go back with friends because this is a place I want to show off, especially as an avid book lover.
