Winston Spitzer: The best music hall in the world to me. Small. Very small. The first time I went there I thought that I was in the wrong place. Not a concert venue, but just a bar. Nice though. But definitely no concert venue. Or so I thought.But I had come there so I decided to stay and drink a beer. It was still early in the night. When I went to the toilet after 3 beers I noticed a small stage in the back.Weird. The place in the back could be best described as very small. In my mind I could devise it into 3 pieces of equal area. The first place the stage, the second place the place for the audience. And as a third place to indicate the size of the first 2 parts. The place behind where a snooker table stood.

We enjoyed a long lunch, selecting the ‘feed me’ menu, which allowed us to sample several shared dishes, which we complemented with brilliantly recommended wines and rounded off with divinely crafted cocktails. 2KW excelled in every aspect of the culinary journey, however the absolute standout was the customer service provided by the front of house team, in particular Lisa, who delivered outstanding attention to detail, expertly balanced with knowledge, warmth and professionalism. It is evident that the team at 2KW take great pride in their work, and this translates to a superior dining experience in every aspect. 👏👏

Jack Lastname: This place is magical. Highly recommended if you are alternative and/or queer. I came here for their UK Garage night with my current partner and we felt very safe and welcome to dance and be cute on the dance floor. You really feel that antisocial people are not welcome here, and thus do not come here. This is one of the best venues in all of Adelaide/Tarndanya.My only constructive note is that the toilets are a little gross 😅

Tim Stew: for about five years ancient world has been my go to bar in Adelaide. It's pretty good and it's variety of karaoke on a Wednesday and live music over the weekend. If you can catch ancient world on a night where they're bands you get really good, intimate performances and I feel like a lot of the bands really do produce their best material in ancient world band. Space some of the electronica can be a little bit hit and miss, but I'm more a rock 'n' roll fan myself, I would recommend ancient world on any bucket list of backpackers, interstate, and international people wanting to get a taste of what Adelaide underground scene is like on any given night Tuesday to SundayVegetarian options: Excellent scan that was vegetarian/vegan sausage sizzle better than Bunnings

Paulii: It's not often a themed bar gets it right but Bibliotheca is on point. It's a cosy, tucked away bar with a definitive library feel. My friend and I got a cocktail each, The Drink That Shall Not Be Named and The Golden Ticket. Both of these were incredible, as was the service. Our bartender knew her stuff and correctly chose our drinks to suit us when we asked for help. I also enjoyed perusing all the secondhand books on the shelves and the traditional green library lamps scattered around the room. Really want to go back with friends because this is a place I want to show off, especially as an avid book lover.

Foil Me: We held our Foil Me 10 Year Birthday party in the gorgeous Waymouth Room last night and there is still so much buzz around this party from our followers. The food was delicious. the room is absolutely stunning and the vibe felt wonderful, warm and welcoming. Massive should out to James, our host, and his team for excellent service. We can not recommend this venue enough!Parking: The Topham Mall parking lot is only metres away and reasonably priced.

David Paul: Sound system was not the best yet I've seen Beats on Parade play at other gigs without sound issues. Maybe replace the cables as whenever the DJ spoke it was this inaudible high pitched shrill. Once the DJ stopped speaking it wasn't too bad despite the system cutting out on one speaker. Once it was stable, it was fine. Don't use an MC if the mics aren't working - trust me, I'm a sound engineer.

BangDroid: Been here a bunch of times, but never eaten, always have a few beers. Great price on jugs. Nice watering hole.
Brad Chadster: This is a decent bar with lots of seating, so it is good if you have a bigger group. Drink pricing is pretty average. They have a pool table, and there's also a big gaming room. Staff are friendly as well. Overall, it was a good experience.

You’re never too far away from its siren call, that little voice in the back of your head whispering, “Hey, you want a good time? Go to Peripheral. You know you do.” The shelves are stacked with every damn bottle under the sun, and you get the feeling that every single one of them has a story, a reason for being there.You know, it’s like learning a language, not one you’d find in a textbook. Each drink is a conversation. Those behind the bar, they’re getting to know you, and you’re getting to know them. It’s this beautiful exchange, you both come away a little richer for it.Don’t get me wrong, the drinks are phenomenal. But we’ve all had those “exceptional cocktail” reviews. I’m talking about something deeper. This place, it challenges you. It throws you a curveball, something you’d normally scoff at, and then… bam! It changes you. I used to be one of those “no rum” guys. Couldn’t stomach it, not even in the most dedicated rum bar. But at Bar Peripheral, I told Vini, quite simply “I don’t like rum.” and that mischievous glint in his eyes, well, by the end of the night, I was eating my words.In the food scene, we talk about “cook’s eats” – places where cooks can just relax and enjoy a good meal. If there where "chef's drinks" this would be it. Dark, quiet, intimate, eccentric, a bit cheeky, and definitely, definitely not for everyone. A place to remove yourself from bright lights, loud noise, and constant visual clutter. Somewhere where after a few moments, the whole world melts away and you are just there, able to sit and relax and truly just 'enjoy'. A place that leaves you with a smile on your face and treasured memories. That, my friends, is exactly why it’s so damn special.

Shae Desmet: From the atmosphere to the food, everything was impeccable. Came here to try it out for the first time while we were scoping venues for a small work dinner. The food was incredible and our service by Arthur and the waitresses just made us smile. We even popped into the gaming room on our way out to put a tenner in the pokies and the lady in there gave us incredible service too! We were looking for an event space and instead have found a new spot for date night. Thank you to all the staff!

Wendy Radloff: Fantastic new menu which has basically 98% of it as a gluten free option. I had the chicken schnitzel which was delicious and came with chips and salad. Too much to eat, but so tasty! Friends had the gf fish and chips which was 2 large pieces of fish, chips and salad, also gluten free as was the chicken parmigiana. Kitchen apparently has a dedicated gf space according to our waitress.
