Winston Spitzer: The best music hall in the world to me. Small. Very small. The first time I went there I thought that I was in the wrong place. Not a concert venue, but just a bar. Nice though. But definitely no concert venue. Or so I thought. But I had come there so I decided to stay and drink a beer. It was still early in the night. When I went to the toilet after 3 beers I noticed a small stage in the back.Weird. The place in the back could be best described as very small. In my mind I could devise it into 3 pieces of equal area. The first place the stage, the second place the place for the audience. And as a third place to indicate the size of the first 2 parts. The place behind where a snooker table stood.

Carolyn B: The staff are always lovely, and our local bands are amazing and deserving of big, enthusiastic crowds.

Steven Campbell: Awesome jazz night on a Wednesday night. Plenty of cool gigs too like Peter Bibby. Also nice outdoors area and good Cooper's on tap

Loyo: Excelent music festivalAtmosphere: 5/5 …

Craig Jeffery: 2KW provide an exceptional dining experience. We enjoyed a long lunch, selecting the ‘feed me’ menu, which allowed us to sample several shared dishes, which we complemented with brilliantly recommended wines and rounded off with divinely crafted cocktails. 2KW excelled in every aspect of the culinary journey, however the absolute standout was the customer service provided by the front of house team, in particular Lisa, who delivered outstanding attention to detail, expertly balanced with knowledge, warmth and professionalism. It is evident that the team at 2KW take great pride in their work, and this translates to a superior dining experience in every aspect. 👏👏

Ella Irlam: 마샤는 최고의 바텐더입니다. 그녀는 매우 도움이 되고 아름답습니다. 나는 그녀의 서비스로 즐거운 밤을 보냈습니다

Karen Ross: Absolutely Stunning! Classy boho vibes and setting over looking city grounds! Service excellent, stand out was Connor! Professional and friendly, helpful advice on a large range of wines and cocktails. Really appreciated his patience and guidance to find the right red wine 🍷or Shiraz in the end that suited me to a tea! Definitely recommend checking this rooftop getaway bar! 2KW was a stand out for me, for the 2 nights spent in the city checking out a few different venues. Most memorable experience was 2KW!! Highly recommend the Triple cooked salt and vinegar potatoes, they were devine! Will be back!!!!

Elizabeth Carter: and the wine was waaay too drinkable. The team of people who tended to our table were exceptional. Especially Aaron, he is gold. Thank you all for making a customer dinner a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We will be back.

Ancient World: what do users think?

Jack Lastname: This place is magical. Highly recommended if you are alternative and/or queer. I came here for their UK Garage night with my current partner and we felt very safe and welcome to dance and be cute on the dance floor. You really feel that antisocial people are not welcome here, and thus do not come here. This is one of the best venues in all of Adelaide/Tarndanya.My only constructive note is that the toilets are a little gross 😅

Stephanie Sy: sanctuary for smelly artsy kids in adelaide. i would rate it 3.5 out of 5.

Stanislav Zakharov: Atmosphere: 5/5

Tim Stew: for about five years ancient world has been my go to bar in Adelaide. It's pretty good and it's variety of karaoke on a Wednesday and live music over the weekend. If you can catch ancient world on a night where they're bands you get really good, intimate performances and I feel like a lot of the bands really do produce their best material in ancient world band. Space some of the electronica can be a little bit hit and miss, but I'm more a rock 'n' roll fan myself, I would recommend ancient world on any bucket list of backpackers, interstate, and international people wanting to get a taste of what Adelaide underground scene is like on any given night Tuesday to SundayVegetarian options: Excellent scan that was vegetarian/vegan sausage sizzle better than Bunnings

The Bibliotheca Bar and Book Exchange: what do users think?

Jacopo Guidone: Beautiful bar in the main center of Adelaide , good cocktails and especially nice the signatures one . The bartender was friendly and recommend my girlfriend a cocktails that she really like .Ps : Maybe could just improve by adding some more tequilas in the menu .

Paulii: It's not often a themed bar gets it right but Bibliotheca is on point. It's a cosy, tucked away bar with a definitive library feel. My friend and I got a cocktail each, The Drink That Shall Not Be Named and The Golden Ticket. Both of these were incredible, as was the service. Our bartender knew her stuff and correctly chose our drinks to suit us when we asked for help. I also enjoyed perusing all the secondhand books on the shelves and the traditional green library lamps scattered around the room. Really want to go back with friends because this is a place I want to show off, especially as an avid book lover.

Fiona Putt: Great little spot with awesome cocktails

melissa Gent: he not only has amazing service but nearly two years ago he helped me by calling an ambulance for my son when he had a medical emergency. Ever since that whenever we have seen him he has always been amazing and remembered both my partner and I and always asks how my son is doing.

Avijeet Sen: , the Honey Pot, and the Silmaril.Take a counter seat to see some interesting and ‘fiery’ cocktail preparation techniques. All in all, this cocktail bar is a must visit if you’re in Adelaide.

Lily Matas: Nineteen Ten in Adelaide's CBD is an absolute delight! As a retired hospitality worker, I truly appreciate seeing staff who not only enjoy their work but also create an inviting and positive atmosphere. Tom, who served me, showcased exceptional bartending skills along with a friendly smile and charm. The burlesque show was fantastic—engaging and interactive, which really enhanced the excitement of the evening. As a lover of dance, the performers personally convinced me to try burlesque myself. Their energy and charisma were truly inspiring, and their performances left me eager to explore this art form further. The surprise of a rooftop pool, used creatively in the performances, added a unique touch. The live music was lively and fun, with audience participation encouraged, which made the experience even more enjoyable.Plus, the luxurious lift to the rooftop was a nice touch that set this venue apart from the usual. Highly recommend Nineteen Ten for a memorable and fun night out!

Lorraine Brougham: My first visit was a beautiful atmosphere. Staff extremely friendly.Parking: Car park across the street. Very convenient and felt safe.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift to the top floor suitable for wheelchairs.

Dylan Cook: Went tonight for a fringe show and have to say it exceeded what my wife and I expected.Great service, wonderful gorgeous staff and a great drinks menu. Classy establishment and we would happily spend a Saturday night there.

sandra harris: My son had his engagement party at 1910 . Wow the staff were so lovely. The food which was finger food which keep on coming and was tasty. The children played in the pool while the adults chatted . Everyone had a great afternoon party and I really recommend this venue tucked away private and fun

Bec M: Coolest venue in the city! Been a couple of times for the Burlesque Saturday nights, and loved it both times. Great roof top views, an intimate seating area around a small swimming pool, lots of attention to small details, exceptional table service, great cocktails, including pacers and mocktails. We definitely plan on making it a regular haunt!

Christy Gower: Always a fun night at nineteen ten, great resident dancers. The speciality shows are always amazing with talented performers. The cocktail menu is always changing and they're always a hit. Inclusive entertainment where you can come as you are and have an awesome night. My absolute favourite venue in Adelaide for after dark fun 😍Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift

Deanna Power: We hosted a day 2 wedding event at the Gallery rooftop and the service on the day and prior was flawless. James, Alice and Alex were all incredible to work with, honest and helpful. We were fortunate enough to have fantastic weather which allowed the roof to be open on the rooftop which enhanced the atmosphere further. The food was timely and we received countless compliments on the quality. Can’t wait to host our next event at this stunning venue! Thanks Gallery Team!

Jett Carlin: I had my 21st here last night and it was amazing. The process in the lead up was perfect and they created it super easy to have my perfect event. James who was the coordinator on the night was nothing short of perfect. Nothing was too hard and he made it the perfect night.

Jasmine Jones: Amazing service, incredible food and wonderful warm, welcoming space in the weymouth room. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us for our group dinner on 3 June. Foil Me: We held our Foil Me 10 Year Birthday party in the gorgeous Waymouth Room last night and there is still so much buzz around this party from our followers. The food was delicious. the room is absolutely stunning and the vibe felt wonderful, warm and welcoming. Massive should out to James, our host, and his team for excellent service. Tia Sampson: I just had my 21st birthday function at The Gallery and could not recommend a better venue! The event staff were super helpful, with quick replies and ensured every small detail was considered and perfect. David Paul: Sound system was not the best yet I've seen Beats on Parade play at other gigs without sound issues. Maybe replace the cables as whenever the DJ spoke it was this inaudible high pitched shrill. Once the DJ stopped speaking it wasn't too bad despite the system cutting out on one speaker. Once it was stable, it was fine. Don't use an MC if the mics aren't working - trust me, I'm a sound engineer.

Scott Hawken: One of the nicest hotels in Adelaide with a great restaurant and bistro with excellent food and friendly staff.

Hannah Alison: Gabby was immediately welcoming, so polite and friendly to all of us, good humour too. She is good at what she does!Food was delicious and presented really nicely.Tables were set up nicely, and was comfortably warm even though it’s freezing outside. My daughter had had her first taste of chocolate and approved.. Vegetarian options: I had 2 vegetarian appetisers and both were delicious and decent portions. I noticed a few v/gf options on the menuKid-friendliness: I thank Gabby again for how nice she was to my daughter, immediately getting her a high chair and offering plastic cups without me even asking. Always saying hello when she came to the table. She is a sweetheart and made our experience more than beautiful.Sorry about the mess on the table! 😝

Tom Reed: Good selection of beers, wines and spirits, great vibe.

BangDroid: Been here a bunch of times, but never eaten, always have a few beers. Great price on jugs. Nice watering hole.

Brad Chadster: This is a decent bar with lots of seating, so it is good if you have a bigger group. Drink pricing is pretty average. They have a pool table, and there's also a big gaming room. Staff are friendly as well. Overall, it was a good experience.

Trisha K: Great atmosphere! Awesome staff and comfy couches. We've been a few times and love it!

Karlie Hensel: Great open mic comedy show! Happens every fortnight. Great staff, food and drink prices

Sa Santos: Spacious, friendly staff, and good food/drink options.

Paul Whitbread: The stench of misery has finally gone. It now has a more much nicer aroma.

Janet’s Journey: Staff friendly and service was great. Food was good and the wines and beers are cheap! The duck pizza is a favourite for cheap pizza on Fridays. There’s hump day specials with Wing it Wednesdays, 50c Buffalo or Honey Soy Wings.Plus all day every day is Happy Hour.Ample space, couches for mingling, quick pool game or pin ball machines, or there’s pokies in the back room.

Bar Peripheral: what do users think?

Bane Williams: Listen, I don’t usually do this whole “love letter to a bar” thing. It’s just not my style. But Bar Peripheral, well, that place is different. It’s like stepping into a speakeasy in a forgotten dream. You feel this… magic, this weird vibe like the world’s running on a secret clock, a clock that understands that knowledge and passion are the only currencies worth a damn. The truth is, I’ve spent more time in that dark corner of the world than I’d care to admit. You’re never too far away from its siren call, that little voice in the back of your head whispering, “Hey, you want a good time? Go to Peripheral. You know you do.” The shelves are stacked with every damn bottle under the sun, and you get the feeling that every single one of them has a story, a reason for being there. You know, it’s like learning a language, not one you’d find in a textbook. Each drink is a conversation. Those behind the bar, they’re getting to know you, and you’re getting to know them. It’s this beautiful exchange, you both come away a little richer for it.Don’t get me wrong, the drinks are phenomenal. But we’ve all had those “exceptional cocktail” reviews. I’m talking about something deeper. This place, it challenges you. It throws you a curveball, something you’d normally scoff at, and then… bam! It changes you. I used to be one of those “no rum” guys. Couldn’t stomach it, not even in the most dedicated rum bar. But at Bar Peripheral, I told Vini, quite simply “I don’t like rum.” and that mischievous glint in his eyes, well, by the end of the night, I was eating my words. In the food scene, we talk about “cook’s eats” – places where cooks can just relax and enjoy a good meal. If there where "chef's drinks" this would be it. Dark, quiet, intimate, eccentric, a bit cheeky, and definitely, definitely not for everyone. A place to remove yourself from bright lights, loud noise, and constant visual clutter. Somewhere where after a few moments, the whole world melts away and you are just there, able to sit and relax and truly just 'enjoy'. A place that leaves you with a smile on your face and treasured memories. That, my friends, is exactly why it’s so damn special.

Jeremy Shapiro: Simply incredible - don’t want to detract from the experience by sharing too much … enough to say this was the best bar experience I have had. Vini - you are a true master of your art. No drinks menu ? That freaked me out initially but run with it - let Vini know what you like and what you want … great value, great service - a night to remember

Belle Ballard: Absolutely fantastic experience working with The Unley for my best friend’s Bachelorette day-event. The staff were accomodating and friendly from start to finish. It was a breeze having our event here and I would recommend to anyone.

Jasmine: Thursday afternoon /evening, drinks & a family catchup. Ordered share plates, food was quite nice but my review is to commend the exemplary service from the lovely girl with the dark curly hair & glasses; so friendly, accommodating & helpful & such a pleasant demeanour, she is absolutely an asset to the hotel. She was the difference between an average pub visit & a wonderful one & I thank her for her outstanding service.

Naidine Cullen: I held my 50th party here and it was such an easy, stress free experience. The staff were very helpful with setting up and packing up and through out the night. Very affordable packages and the food was delicious. Communication was great as well. Highly recommend The Unley for your next event, I’ll certainly come back. Many thanks to all involved.

Shae Desmet: From the atmosphere to the food, everything was impeccable. Came here to try it out for the first time while we were scoping venues for a small work dinner. The food was incredible and our service by Arthur and the waitresses just made us smile. We even popped into the gaming room on our way out to put a tenner in the pokies and the lady in there gave us incredible service too! Friends had the gf fish and chips which was 2 large pieces of fish, chips and salad, also gluten free as was the chicken parmigiana. Kitchen apparently has a dedicated gf space according to our waitress.

And the brisket is a must have. Definitely our new go to. 🤤Dietary restrictions: Safe for coeliacsKid-friendliness: Welcomed our young children and had delicious options for a young coeliac
