Nicole Stewart: To my surprise, this gallery turned out to be quite remarkable. The collection featured stunning artwork in a variety of styles, from Impressionist and Dada to Chinese, Renaissance, religious, and contemporary. The English explanations are also explained in an easy to understand manner, making it easy to read.It's nice that the land is large haha. It's almost as big as a transplanted wild place.I totally recommend it!

Melissa Nguyen: Its a very fun place, its absolutely free to enter, its intriguing for both kids and adults to go here and have fun exploring. The technology is advanced, i remember I was at the top of the staircase and the chandeliers were reacting to the sounds I made by lighting up in different colours and patterns. I also remember seeing extremelt realistic well made replicas of human super organs that could help us adpat on other planets/harsh environments. I urge you to go this place immediately, its free, and its a fun way to burn the time while in the city. I heard the stations change every six months, so you may not see the things that I have listed. Have fun there!

Tony “knucklehead” Storank: For me it was a reminder of how simple toys can be as special to a young child as any gadget you can get these days and imagination is wild in those early years growing up. I was envious of much of his collection until i found out he had a wealthy family that could spend big on gifts but by the same token shipped him off to boarding schools. Personally id rather play with dirt and stay at home during my formative years. Awesome collection and worth the trip in to see it.

anne simon: An absolute joy of a collection, beautifully curated and explained with great knowledge and affection on the guided tour. The individual objects are exquisite, sometimes quirky and often moving; and to see them so lovingly displayed in the home for which they were bought is a rare delight, one which will stay with you long after you have left. This collection alone is worth a visit to Adelaide.

The National Trust of South Australia has managed the Ayers House Museum on North Terrace in Adelaide on behalf of the Government of South Australia since 1973, having saved the building from demolition in the 1960s. On 10 June 2021, the National Trust was served a 30 day eviction notice by the Government of South Australia.

Arthur Hurwitz: .The lady who took us on the tour was knowledgeable, friendly and patient, and took the time to explain to us a bit of the history of this state and the man whose home we were touring. But all the staff are friendly and helpful and do their best to make one’s visit an enjoyable and satisfying one.We spent about an hour here all up and enjoyed the visit, but to be honest there isn’t a huge amount to see, and I wouldn’t put it on my must see list when in Adelaide, unless one has a particular interest in history.
Lei Jiang: Ayers house is one of the best historical places in Adelaide. The Victorian house is elaborate and decorated, all of the rooms magnificent and well preserved.

Aaron Sunny: If you are a cricket fanatic, Don Bradman collection is the place to be. Memorabilia from different decades bring back a lot of memories ! It’s quite a lot of walking, so be ready to knock out some great steps and wear comfortable shoes.Parking is available and close to the city. There’s an option of using local transport as well. If doing the museum tour , add in the Adelaide oval in your list too as it’s a great way to stop for a drink or feed

Hannah Rohrbacher: I’m soy thankful we stumbled in here, because this cold is incredibly impressive! It was started in 1881, and 99% of the collection is still in tact and on display! If you are strolling around the botanical gardens, you need to stop here if you enjoy nature and plants at all. The paper mache mushroom and fruit collection is mind blowingly realistic.

Cooper: I’m glad I visited this museum on the weekend. It's a popular spot and a great place to bring kids. You can see many unique planes, most of which are well-preserved, and some you can even enter and explore. The museum grounds have recently been upgraded with a larger parking area, making it more convenient for visitors. The best part is the friendly volunteers who are always eager to share interesting information about the exhibits. Overall, it's a fun and educational outing, and I highly recommend it for a weekend visit!

Don Doherty: WOW, truly enjoyed walking through the South Australian Aviation Museum, upon my experience, I fully recommend one goes to see out heritage. A couple of gentlemen volunteers asked if I wanted to have a look at closed off areas. My reply was yes, certainly, one was with the restoration shed. A few of the volunteers are working on a Farely airplane from pictures. I was advised there are only 4 left in the world. This one at Port Adelaide was found in the swamps of Port Pirie. Looked at a console of a spitfire made from scratch, I definitely recommend one goes to visit the Aviation Museum

David Eccles: Pros: Nice looking and well placed venue. Food was good and staff were friendly for our seminar. After being asked they remembered to put out soy milk reliably. Water at the tables was refilled in between every break at the seminar.Cons: I found the lights were too 'warm' for a conference, which was occasionally hard on the eyes, but may be better for a wedding. The projector was a touch subpar and definitely lost critical detail on a few slides with diagrams. The food was generally reasonable but they missed my vegan dietary preference and had no options on one of the later days.EDIT on 6/6/24 - no worries, I understand there are multiple sides chains in a link. I response to the explanatory n prompt response from the owner I have popped the rating up from 3 to 4 stars. have a good day.
