Capri Theatre: what do users think?

Ross Dawkins: A grand old theatre with the smells reminiscent of the glory days. The volunteers do an excellent job of keeping this theatre running.Being able to buy Haighes Chocolates or a Golden North chocolate topped icecream lovingly made by the volunteers just adds to the pleasure and ambience. The Wurlitzer organ rising from the stage and played for 15 minutes prior to the films is just magical - a 'real' blast from the past!

Chris Pitcher: My Favourite Cinema for 7 Decades Loved the place since a Child

Gilly Gilmiester: Wonderful place. The architecture is beautiful and the interior transports you back in time.Everyone involved should be very proud.

Dennis Gullan: Great slice of nostalgia, the organ is stupendous.....a must see on anyone's Adelaide visit.

Corcoran Street: First time to this theatre. Lovely old world charm and operated by volunteers. It's definitely worth visiting if only to see the theatre.

Richard Jacobs: An amazing genuine theatre organ and 1930s but top quality films in a 1930s theatre

Susan B.: This beautiful heritage Capri theater takes you back in time as soon as you step inside. From watching awesome movies to viewing the grand Wurlitzer organ being played it’s certainly highly memorable!

PK Saxena: Always a pleasure. Especially the organ before the show.

Shari Bartlett: Lovely theatre. Ample seating. Great for candlelight venue.

Mercury Cinema: what do users think?

Deniz Batuk: A truly unique place for community to come together to celebrate the classics, blockbuster, art, cult, and world movies.

Graeme Wilson: Very low cost community theatre. They show odd- ball old movies. One was a silent film with very loud music. Currently, East German stuff made under severe censorship. Very thought provoking and a relief from the American rubbish we are constantly fed.

Janet’s Journey: Classic Cinema, old school movies and the nostalgic of arts! Love the vibe around it.The bar staff are always lovely.Recently attended to see a comedy show as part of the fringe.

Richard Densley: Very interesting non mainstream movies, great price, especially if you join as a member...my movies cost me about $3 each. Also get a cup of coffee and biscuits.

Debbie Bloomfield: I'm visiting Adelaide from Far North Queensland. I'm so happy I chanced upon this little gem 🌈What a great experience tonight !!For just $16A screening of 4 short films by Australian film makers, several of whom were available after their film to share how their ideas came about, to discuss technical aspects of the creative process and to answer questions from the audience. It was fabulousInformativeand a lot of fun !!I'm not a film maker nor an animator but I really enjoyed the insightsEither buy tickets for a screeningOr subscribe $25 / month to keep Mercury Cinema prosperous & enjoy special events.. like a special screening coming upA special screening of an episode from The Witcher series with special guest from the creative team to address the guests.Take a friend along to Mercury Cinema !!I can highly recommend it.. and with Adelaide's support it will only be better & stronger & attract more diverse films for us all 💜💙I would like to have had more time to see a couple of the other films on offer over the next few weeks

Maria Reinoso: It is a lovely Cinema, the stuff is really nice,.Showing really good movies

Ian Huntley: A great film. The cinema has a very healthy culture.

David Jobling: ashes, a makeover and rethink of the whole place has transformed it into a truly excellent centre of excellence.

Robert Manning: AGM Mercury tonight

Michelle E. Brooks: Excellent small arthouse and specialities screening in a comfortable cinema. Offers other films, usually during the day. Tragically, it is not certain to survive. Please go, and help it to stay open. Adelaide needs it!

Mr. Pramod: What's a bigger mystery box than a movie theater? You go to the theater, you're just so excited to see anything - the moment the lights go down is often the best part.

BIKASH KHATIWADA: Not bad
